Horrible pacing and tone

Minor minor spoilers ahead if any.

This drama wasn't for me... A lot of people like it, but after episode 12 I decided I just couldn't waste any more time trying to watch it and I pretty much just skip-watched to the end from there...

First of all, the premise has potential. After loving Hometown ChaChaCha I thought I'd love another small town story, but this one has some really annoying characters I just couldn't stand. I loved the actor who played Gyutae in It's Okay to Not Be Okay, but whenever he came on in this show I just hated him because he was just screaming like a big manbaby (I know that's who he is, but it was still really irritating). Dongbaek has a really bad victim complex... the women of Ongsan are developed really poorly and they suddenly decide to just like Dongbaek because she kind of starts to assert herself but she's actually so flip floppy. I didn't feel for Hwangmi that much throughout the whole show. Omg Jongryeol... Probably the most annoying. Even if that was the aim for these characters, the pacing was just sooooo dragged out, and while I had no characters to grow close to and love, I was just bored and annoyed watching this whole show. I will say there were some moments and scenes I enjoyed though. But those were far and few between.

The tone of this show is very confusing. It was either really bubbly and bright or so dark and eerie that I was like.. This can't be serious. I was thinking if they made that police guy the Joker that would have been soooo good if they made it work... but of course they made some random guy we don't know the Joker.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about trying to finish this show anymore!

I liked this movie b/c it made the girl out to be smart. She at least does the right thing for herself when in most dramas and movies the lead chick always does everything she can for that one guy. Well this chick made a decision that worked better for her in the end rather than catering to some jerk ass male that did not appreciate her in the 1st place. K so now that I am done man bashing I can talk about the quality of the movie.

Well I liked the acting b/c it felt real. The rxns shown by the actors was exactly how u would think it would be in RL. I enjoyed the movement from place to place and the changing of time. U know me if I don't notice the music then it was good but in this some of the music was too loud but I am able to ignore those things after the inital affect it has on me.

I read a review of this movie and it said something about this movie being the first that was done completely in Manadrin and is focused more on the local audience. I think that is great b/c I believe that one way to increase happiness in ur ppl is to entertain them. Even though the economy is not great here and we r just trying to get by. I still try to take the family out to a movie every once in a while b/c it is almost always a good experience that makes a happy memory. Every1 needs that feeling. I am glad the Hong Kong movie biz is doing that for the ppl (not to mention the money).

You finish the film not knowing what exactly happened and what was illusionary. How much of the events were the results of false memories and how much was wishful thinking. A well-written plot full of fragmentations and soliloquies. When passion and curiosity get in the way of responsibility and morals, what would a person do? What is love? And how much of it is obsession and imagination? When life is tying one down and when the pressure of family and providing for it seems unbearable, can we really blame one if they tend to notice other fresh and lovely refuges?

Jang Hyuk looks so young and hot in the film with his fringe down and those muscles. Jo Bo Ah did wonderfully and outperformed all. I applaud her for picking such a hard role and exceeding at it.

I remember that the music fit the film well. The production and cinematography was just perfect. The camera angels added to much to the intensity and sense of loss.

Not for everyone. A contradictory and conflicted account on the human passion and inner conflicts.

This was a spectacular drama! Probably one of the best Korean drama series of 2017!

Even from the first glance at the storyline, I was already in love with the concept of a time traveling romance between doctors. Two stories in two completely different eras, and two doctors who are both connected by destiny and their duty to save people's lives. It really is a series that can actually heal your soul and make you appreciate the work that doctors have to put up with every single day. So the story never got boring or annoying and the plot brought something unique and was a rest stop after watching so many cliche romance dramas. The actors of Live Up To Your Name - talented, outstanding and shining. The main couple, in my opinion, had one of the best chemistries and stories in the Kdrama world. The male and female lead are quite mature both as actors and as the characters they've played: conveying various and very strong emotions in every scene, they've really perfected their roles in this drama. As I've seen before, the OST stole the hearts of many who've watched this show. And me as well - the songs were very catchy, emotional and they're still ringing in my ears.

Can't believe that it's already over, I'll need to rewatch this sometime soon! There were just so many good feels after watching this drama. (Also, that ending with Man Gae, that girl needs a whole separate drama too!)

This drama really surprised me, and I enjoyed it wayyyy more than I ever thought I would!

Initially, I had tried to watch this drama on more than one occasion but could not get past the first two episodes. However, after finishing “I Cannot Hug You” and growing to like Zhang Yu Xi after initially being put off by her acting, I decided to give it another shot. (Note: I also tried on multiple occasions to get interested in “I Cannot Hug You”, but after making it to episode 3, I was hooked!)

In my opinion, My Little Princess was entirely addicting. I binged the whole show in two days and it had me laughing and giggling and immersed the whole way through. Sure, the acting and storyline were questionable but it was so much fun!! It was also so refreshing to find a drama where the male lead is the one who falls first and is sweet and protective the whole way through. It is the female lead who is wealthy and slowly warms up to him. In addition, there is such fantastic chemistry in this drama that it allows you to look past some of its flaws.

Definitely give this drama a shot if you are interested in semi-cheesy, high school dramas with a whole lot of chemistry, that are lighthearted and all around a pleasure to watch. (I know, I am a sucker for them!) Highly recommend.

I liked the story and the airport setting, I learned a lot about how's life in an airport.

The female may seem a bit annoying at first but that's part of her unsecure character and she gets better in time.

The male is sweet but kinda dumb at times, I wanted to scream at him through the screen.

The disability plot was a good idea but it wasn't represented well in my opinion.

The romance was heartwarming and sweet and the side couple was really cute too.

The Osts are really good too and made the romance scenes even better.

The only complain I have is the ending, not that it was bad but because it was incredibly rushed, it will would have been better if certain things had been explained. Even so I liked this drama and didn't feel like I wasted my time, I rec it but only to watch one time, I don't really plan on rewatching it.

BounPrem

I openly admit that I only watched this for BounPrem. If it was any other actors playing their characters, I would have dropped the show because the storyline was so awful. It didn't make sense and it wasn't Asian drama cheesy. It was over-the-top cheesy. Most of the characters were flat and dull. But BounPrem have my whole heart. I loved them in this, even though the show bombed. I don't know what else to say because this review box is saying I need 500 characters when I don't have a lot to say about this show. Anyway, hope everyone is having a good day.

Overall was Okish

So the story overall was going okish. starting went a bit confusing as they swap time zone within one episode. Which was then again a good experience to see what is happening in 2012 and how things changed all of a sudden in 2024.
For all those who will watch and want to know spoiler things got better after episode 5 and the story stuck to one time zone from episode 10 onwards.. which was 2012.

Story went a bit drag but in the end went like ZOOM !! like the director or writer just had to finish things off asap. It was a happy ending but still feels incomplete from villain side. Like what happened Gao Ru Wen when he was strangling Lu Fan Fan. Just a guess that as police siren was going on in back he might have got arrested. But what happened to younger Gao Ru Wen who ran away with his father. There should have been a positive impact in future Gao Ru Wen too... maybe ... just own point of view.

So about the ending when Fan Fan getting strangled by Gao Ru Wen. Next scene was getting up in hospital in 2025. Figuring she travelled back to her time 1 year later which is 2025 finding out she was in coma for a year. And then the ending lit went like happy ending byebye take care y'all.

Overall, is it worth watching?! Would recommend if you don't have anything else to watch, go for it. The story was cute having twists, acting was pretty good too. Wouldn't say its a waste of time. But they could have made it better.

This was a weirdly interesting film. Do not let the synopsis deter you from watching because at first glance it may seem as if the synopsis is telling the whole movie but I think that's what they want you to think. In actuality the story is more complex than it seems and it's not just your typical possession movie. This movie was pretty good. It may have been confusing at times but as the story progressed things started to come together. Perhaps the ending could have been better but the overall movie was a lot better than I had expected it to be given the synopsis.

Unique story concept and a casual watch!

I watched Until We Meet Again (UWMA) last year, and I remember how emotionally invested I was in this show. It was sad, heartwarming, cute and funny. Compared to other BL's released during the same year as this series, this show was undoubtedly the best of the best BL series productions in decades. The character development and the story development are slow-paced yet very intriguing! Some people might hate this aspect, but others might enjoy the thrill of it! I loved how the story unwrapped itself perfectly by the end. The casting selection, chemistry and acting were excellent. Must watch and give it a try! If you don't like the fantasy, soulmate and destiny genres, maybe this show is not for you! But for those who do, watch it! Highly recommend. (Also, I teared up so much watching this show).

Frustrating watch

I liked season 1 well enough, but this season, for me, left a lot to be desired.

Most of the drama was about indecisions of the ML, the FL trying to move on but not wanting to, multiple other potential couples to fill in the spaces. I still liked the acting of the ML and the FL, but the story just kept moving from one person to the next.

There's a girl that has always liked the ML and she uses emotional blackmail on him. I hate that.
FL tries to date someone else, but the actor that was the 2ML was just too "pretty" and the bob hairstyle didn't help at all.

My mantra while watching this was, "Only two more episodes, only one more episode." I will say, though, since it is short, if you've watched the first one and want to feel like you've completed the series, give this a try.

Interesting cases with non-consistent realization.

To begin, I really like this drama, but I think it isn't one that everbody likes.

The story isn't a really new concept but it has really unordinary medical aspects. It focuses mostly on the medical and mystery. I like how the characters were introduced and that the "investigation team" is newly formed. In my opinion one or two cases are not as interesting as the others. However the main case is quite thrilling.

The acting in this varies . Some actors played their role really well. The lead actors played really great. Personaly I liked Ryu Deok Hwans acting slightly more than Yoo Joo Hees. The guest roles differ from poor to excellent.

The music isn't bad. It is just not memorable.

I don't think that the drama has a high rewatch value, not because I didn't like but once a mystry is solved it loses its tension.

Spoiler
At the end not everything is resolved, especially about the male leads past. But you can still watch it comfortable without a need to watch the other episodes.

Too Much Sweetness

Looking for a reason to go to the dentist? LOOK NO FURTHER! Lactose intolerant? TURN BACK! This show was super cheesy and so sweet you'll probably get a cavity lol One of the worst things about BL dramas is they never give the side couples enough love, but I did appreciate that all the couples got an even/decent amount of scree time here. I liked it was different in telling everyone's story couple by couple, not by throwing it all together miscellaneously(it's hard to remember couple stories and even names when they do that). Yes, some of their stories were basic and cliché but I don't think it's a bad series. There were visuals all around and I gotta admit the ending was super satisfying and cute (CHEESY THOUGH) Unfortunately, that's really all the praise I can give...
Enjoy...

SHOW ABSOLUTELY TO WATCH!
I really liked this drama, it touches sensitive topics: the power when is held by women, power as the highest possible aspiration and how to obtain it, it's legitimate to use every means, the death of innocent people perceived as "collateral damage". Each individual character has his own ideology and his way of obtaining results and therefore a profound political and social confrontation is created that determines the path of events. It isn't a romantic screenplay, it's a political screenplay and the romance, the union between women and men is determined above all by the political benefits that this can bring to individuals. Love is given up for power, feelings are sacrificed for political gains, and the lovers die for the same reason. There are no good or bad characters here, but characters who make more or less questionable choices based on the interaction between the political factions. Let's take the two women most hated by most viewers, Lady Cho and the Queen Mother. Neither was bad by choice of life, but having been used and eventually sold for a political cause ends up turning them into monsters. Lady Cho is deceived by the King, she thinks she is loved, that she has been chosen for love and when she realizes that she was just a pawn in the political game between her father and the King, she directs her anger pathetically towards the other woman, but it must be hard to admit to yourself that your father used you for personal outbursts and therefore better blame those who have nothing to do with it than accept a painful truth. The Queen Mother has a similar path, she loves a man who has abandoned her for the good of the country, she lives obsessed with jealousy towards the woman he has as a legitimate consort and does everything to not lose those few moments that he deigns to share with her and why this happen does not come from doing a masacre. But even the legitimate wife does not have a stimulating situation, for more than half of her life she has been next to a man who loved another woman. Lady Jung is also repeatedly manipulated and in this power play, between the King, Park Gye Won, ministers and political factions they kill her whole family. We also have another interesting topic that clearly develops in this drama: the class struggle which, as Karl Marx would say, is never dead. Contempt towards the people, towards the servants, towards their needs is highlighted at every step of this drama. The King who for once looks the campesinos in the face while they cultivate rice in the palace, Lady Cho who mistreats her servants are examples of how the palace is not really interested in the needs of the lower classes. The actors are all very good, without exception, the disgust I felt for Lady Cho means that Park Ji Yeon did a great job, the hatred I felt for the King and Queen Mother is proportional to the skill of the actors in the play. Special mention for Jang Hyuk, that man was born to act, every performance of him is incredible and therefore his characters always end up becoming among the most charismatic of all. I loved him in his role as Park Gye Won and I also had a lot of sympathy for Lady Jung too, I hated the King, the Minister of War, and I felt a lot of compassion for Lady Cho, the Queen Mother and Gye Won's wife. But these are my personal sympathies for the various characters and therefore are arbitrary. The ending I think is good, it leaves the enigma about what future political plots are going to happen and I wouldn't want to be in Lady Jung's shoes with Lady Cho lurking when she has as her point of reference a figure as fickle and interested in power as the King. For sure there will be more blood shed.
Excellent photography, editing, setting, costumes and OST. I repeat, absolutely to watch, for me a 10/10.

This is definitely one of the best Thai series out there PERIOD. The acting by the male leads was amazing, the plot was unique with how the past and present were intertwined, the romance was super super sweet and endearing, and I am not over Dean & Pharm.

Their dynamic as a couple is so darn cute and refreshing. Dean’s overwhelming and unfaltering love for Pharm leaves you giggling into your hands while Pharm’s gentle and shy persona makes you want to root for him every step of the way. They showcased such a healthy and well-balanced relationship that is so rare to see in dramas these days. This drama is a true gem and totally worth watching if you want a sweet & slow-burn romance.
