Like any phenomenal BL series, the last episode is always a bittersweet experience.  It's sad because it has ended; it's happy because everything is resolved and you can finally remember the characters in their sweetest moments.

Bad Buddy was aired after almost a year its trailer was released on YT. The first episode didn't actually had that impact to be honest. However, main leads Ohm and Nanon magically made the series really fun and enjoyable to watch.

Of course Ohm and Nanon are great actors. Ohm has been in the industry for a number of years so he knows his craft.  Although it's Nanon's first BL series, he played his character very well. Their being good friends really helped their on-screen chemistry. Even the kissing scenes were realistic.

Another main factor that made this series different from others is that Pat and Pran already were flirting with each other early on.  They became boyfriends way before the last two episodes. Because of that, they had a lot of sweet moments together. You can also see how their characters and relationship develop.

Thank you Pat and Pran for making our Fridays special for the past weeks. We will surely miss both of you. Of course, thanks to Khun Aof for creating characters that will be remembered by BL fans for a long time.

i had quite a high expectation for this drama since the reviews and ratings are all good, sadly, it doesn't meet my expectation. the storyline was good, it was very dark and depressing, i feel like there wasn't one happy moment. it wasn't scary but rather disturbing. but, the pace of this drama is too slow for me too too tooo slow. in the first few episodes i thought 'okay lets get through this it will get better', but no it's still super slow. i know it was supposed to build that scary feelings yet it doesn't work for me. there are lots of unnecessary scenes too. the last 2 episodes were okay but it's too late? like out of 16 episodes i only enjoy 2 of them. anyway, the acting were amazinggg.

Wrath of the Sword is an action packed kung fu sword fight movie from beginning to end. The FL discovered her family had been massacred on returning home and was immediately surrounded by sword wielding baddies. The only thing that upset her while fighting them was when the ML jumped in to help her.

I love a woman who has a sword and knows how to use it, but it helps if she knows how to use her brain as well. It took a long time for her to figure out who the mastermind behind the plot was. I knew in an instant who it was. If this guy is on the screen hide the jewelry, don't turn your back and refuse anything he offers to eat or drink.

Shu Pei Pei did a fine job with all of her fight scenes. Every time Tang Ching showed up they played music very similar to The Man in Black's (Clint Eastwood) theme evoking an American Western feel.

Unfortunately, the plot felt inconsistent and disjointed with fight scenes going from being indoors to on the top of a mountain in an instant. There were no emotional consequences to any of the events that occurred on screen. The prop department must have maxed out their credit card at Buckets 'O Blood and Trampolines 'R Us. While I don't mind some leaping around and filming jumps backwards this one seemed to over use the technique.

This was Wu Ma's first directorial experience and he choreographed the fight scenes as well. Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung have said Wu Ma is the one guy they wouldn't want to face in a fight because he's the real deal. I'll have to watch for other movies of his to see if he improved as a director. This one wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good either.

The type of drama you want to watch again for the first time

Intriguing, exciting, emotional and so damn good - a few words to describe this drama.

Initially, I got a bit frustrated watching ep 1 as a couple of characters started off quite annoying and the story was not going as I expected but boy, this became the charm of the drama. By the end of the 1st episode, I fell in love with the main characters. Kudos to the writer because the story is very unpredictable and just kept getting better with each episode. The acting was top notch and even the minor characters evoked emotions. At the end, I just wanted happiness for every single one of them.

Dare I say, this is the best modern C-drama I've ever watched. I gave a slightly lower rewatch value because the unpredictability of this drama made it so damn good. I wish I could watch this drama all over again for the first time. Seriously, if you're still thinking about it, watch it! The reviews speak for themselves.

The OSTs were icing on the cake. They were very meaningful and sung beautifully.

Hilariously Fantastic

You won't find any smut here. just get old-fashioned laughs and unique hysterical voiceovers. This is the first time I've seen a Tai show where you can hear their thoughts. Even the parts where it's accidentally going in fast forward just cracks me up. I really really hated the new coming brother, which means his acting was great. He was a villain's villain.
I think personally that this show was a genius act. Maybe they just threw it together, but I think that it was done all in great fun. I've dropped plenty of shows but I raised home today to finish the finale. would I have liked more skinship? absolutely! But it was a fantastic show without it. A guilty pleasure.

Full of heart

This show was hilariously chaotic and funny — but also surprisingly heartfelt when I least expected it. The plot kind of loses itself in the middle — a bunch of random things happen and I'm not entirely sure I can suspend my disbelief during them, but I just kind of had to remind myself that no one is watching this for the masterful plot. The ending is fantastic — and hits surprisingly hard.

But overall I just loved how relatable Gudetama's laziness is. It's hilarious. This series is just good vibes.

not one boring moment

When I clicked open this movie I did not expect much. Even for the first third of the movie I thought it was be pretty predictable but to my surprise it turned around to be quite funny, healing, cheeky and overall entertaining.

The synopsis is pretty vague and does not represent the movie accurately in my opinion.
Both leads are not that young anymore, while he had been turned down in love and gave up on his music career, the FL has been in jail the past year. All in all I would say the story is non linear and not every plot point and the history behind that is fully explained. If this was a drama that would be a negative, but since this is a rom-com with 120 minutes run time, I don't see much fault in that. The typical tropes like "fake dating", "fake pregnancy", "ex comes back" might make you want to stay away and think it's melo but instead of doubling down on these tags, the movie uses those terms as additives. They don't define the entire story only parts of it and the main characters grow around them. To put it simply, one second it might seem the rest of the movie is going to be set in a certain place but a few minutes later everything is different.
Both leads have a difficult past and let go of that together over the course of the movie. Especially the ML has some touching moments later on.

As mentioned earlier I especially liked the second half, it had me laughing quite a few times. For a Chinese Movie it shows quite a bit of skin and is more raunchy than a more conservative movie. I mean the fact that the FL beats up guys, was in prison and has a back tattoo already gives you a little bit of a hint that there won't be a damsel in distress. I also liked it's fast pace but also many original scenes. Whether funny or sad moments, the actors had good chemistry and delivered a good performance.

But of course it's not a perfect movie. At certain points earlier on I found the ML a bit sleezy and the FL got sexualized a bit too much by the writers but it got better later on when the focus shifted on comedy and healing. The "not one boring moment" title could also hint at something not perfect since the movie does a lot, almost too much, in a short period of time and you don't always know the reason or where certain people came from.
Lastly, I really liked the ending. Funny and also wholesome... also shows that there are people who will accept your past and not judge you based on that.

I think it's entertaining and I don't really rate movies strictly, so for me it was funny and cheeky and that is good enough for me.
I would recommend the movie, especially since there are not a lot of odd pairing romcoms of mainland china that have leads that aren't in their 20s anymore.

My favorite genre for dramas is detective/mystery. And although this was a detective drama, it just wasnt the same. There was so much missing from actual investigations. And they figured out who the criminal was from very vague evidence. So as a detective drama, i wouldn't recommend it.

However, i did enjoy it for other reasons. The casting i thought was great. Sakurai Sho as a Butler and Kitagawa Keiko as an Heiress just goes so well. And the relationship the two have is really nice.

I also enjoyed the comedy elements to the drama. I guess that was watch kept me watching.

Overall, i did enjoy this drama and may consider rewatching it again in a few months :D

Romance between an older couple. She is a CEO of a big company and he is her driver, but they become really good friends. Unfortunately due to class differences they cannot be more than friends even as you can see that they develop feelings for each other. Drama has a really big surprise in the end, pretty good story line. Good chemistry between the main couple, I would re-watch again in the future. Drama did well in Hong Kong, ranking #5 in top ten of 2014.

This is a unique romantic comedy. I love the storyline, the dialogues and most especially the main characters, they are both funny and adorable in their own eccentric way. This has a well-written script from the very beginning up to the last. It has so many twists and unforgettable scenes that made me smile all throughout an episode. Both main characters are witty and uphold a great pride on their beliefs that makes them hard to open up to other people. They both have delicate heart in terms on the philosophy of love due to their own experiences or lack of leading them to date each other without knowing that they already found love right before their eyes. This is a refreshing view of love, that love is not a happy event like a child's play but has tragic and miserable emotions that make a person tough and wise at the end. It does not always need to be happy but it also need sad and comfort, argument and acceptance, hate and smile. I really adore this j-drama, and will likely be one of the best romantic series I ever watched in Asian Dramas.

After watching this drama I had to write a review, I can't just watch it and do nothing !
Story : The story is interesting for people like me who like BL stories. But, this one is really my favorite (BL) because it got me through so much feelings.
Acting/Cast : All actors are beginners but they play really well, so well that I thought it was natural like real life - but in a good way. I got attached to them really easily. What I like is that they are normal guys, they didn't made them big brutes or girly.
Music : There's not a lot of musics, around 5 main but what is great about it, is that music doesn't steal the show - how can I say this - music doesn't get more important that what we are watching like in all those dramas we can see... ( They used the ost of an american BL ! brokeback mountain)
Rewatch Value : Rewatching is not a problem, I remember the following day I finished watching this drama, I was like "It's no possible !" "This drama can't be so great !" - well I was excited x) (I couldn't recover !!!)
Overall : For those who are still hesitating, this drama IS A MUST-SEE, get it ?! No seriously, I don't know what got me soooo attracted to this drama maybe the general atmosphere. Maybe the fact that it seems so realistic - but it doesn't lack a bit comedy either. Why realistic ? Because main characters have their own personality which is unique. They match and don't match at the same time, it's not just some characters, with personality traits, they have moods, and they just live.

Honestly, I really liked this show! However, I have more than a few complaints about it. I love Agent K's character so much on how he is so smart and knows what to do. I also love the bromance he has with Woon Gwang. My main problem was Do Ha......Her character was SOOOO annoying!! This show is called "Man to Man" but she just keeps butting in. Not to mention from episode 1 to 16 every time I saw her I cringed at her hairstyle... Plus her dad was also an annoying character, but the father characters are usually like that so I let him slide. Another problem was also the story. The first episode was so promising (besides DoHa) but in the middle it got really slow and repetitive. It did pick up again towards the end though. My overall thoughts are it was a pretty good show (except DoHa) but I think watching it once is enough.

An excellent underrated revenge drama involving homeless people who are considered as worthless.
I loved this drama because it is about homeless people surviving in the streets and demonstrates how
anyone can be useful. But that's not all, because this drama also covers the following angles: revenge,
forbidden love, loyalty & betrayal, rags to riches, self reflection & self worth and death. The entire cast
was amazing. I gave this drama a 9 because of rewatch value & music. I do not usually rewatch dramas
and the music did not stand out to me. If it was not for those two categories, I would have given this
drama a 10. I highly recommend this drama because it was great and because it put a spotlight on the
homeless community. This drama also reminded me of John Wick 2 because they featured the
homeless and how useful they could be.

I honestly went into this show knowing what to expect. I read the reviews, researched it and went back and fourth between other dramas just to start the first episode because I didn’t know truly what I was walking into. The reason I didn’t vote this a 10 star drama is because it still had flaws and at times I found myself skipping forward, I also had a love/hate relationship with the OST because at times it was wonderful and other times it was not. I’ve never seen these actors and actresses personally in any other show but watching this show was just fitting, they were just fitted for these characters. The whole show gives you a nostalgia feel from your first love and you may or may not have experienced that but just a huge nostalgia feel of heartbreak; the ache you feel is a familiar one, the tears, anxiety and stomach pain. It’s all too familiar and this show was fantastic at hitting all the spots, to everyone it may have been predictable but for myself, not really. I only could sense the fact that heartbreak was coming but the story was just all around nice thought out and put together but unfortunately the end to me was rushed. It was a sense of real life to me though, the unknown, not knowing whether something was going to be a happy end or not or if things would fall into place. So if you’re hesitating on watching this show, by all means, I understand. But if you’re debating whether you should watch it, don’t, just watch it. All around it’ll put you into the feels with tears and flash back to those same times you experienced and if you’ve never experienced it you’ll still feel the connection between the characters where your heart will ache because it’s all too familiar.

I was afraid to start this because I heard the ending was bad and that it's not worth it, but I'm writing this review to say that I generally enjoyed the drama!!!
The ending was terribly criticized and maybe it's not 10 stars but I think overall it was worth my time to watch... Usually in these costume dramas the ending is really dark and the last 10 episodes or so they lose the lightness and fun of the drama to conclude it, but I think the drama kept the overall fun atmosphere till the end.
The drama is well paced and I seriously love all the male characters... It was worth watching all those beautiful faces!!
