Although the plot was good, it did have plot twists that I didn't expect at first but it all added up in the ending. The acting throughout the series was good and personally, I really loved this series. I really loved the soundtrack, but the soundtrack wasn't memorable in my opinion. The acting was very good, and the chemistry was there with all the characters.
Overall this drama wasn't the worst drama I have seen, but I can see why some people may not like it. It's very good, and I would recommend watching it. I don't think I would rewatch it again. This was also one of the first dramas I have seen, and I have no remorse after watching it.

Short drama with theatre show feelings
This story plays mostly in historical setting which I preferred to the modern setting. It was fast paced, funny, clever, full of scheming and clichés, but still unexpected. The quality of the costumes and the set was very good and the acting was not bad either. I think the females did great job. I really liked the character of the 6th prince, he had great chemistry with the FL.This is no time travel drama but more a "dream", where the female lead lives in her changed script and tries to survive the fight between all the consorts. The story switches also to the modern world, so we understand the female lead and her story better.
The episodes are very short, story is about 2-3 Minutes + nice ending OST...but I still enjoyed them and was looking forward how the story continues. With last episodes were little bit rushed in the modern setting and also very surprising to me on the other way, the historical ending felt more finished and somehow I expected it will happen like this.
Although very short, it is entertaining theatrical series with nice quality.

Immature plot
I’m sorry to say this but the plot idea was so immature and if maybe it was possibly done so on purpose to cater to a younger audience then that would make much more sense as to why the tone was so different from the parent story. One thing I did like was the music since it’s the same one from the parent story. However in my opinion the music is too sophisticated for the plot and doesn’t match at all.
It was also nice to see the King and Ying Lu interact with each other again. She honestly stole the show in the sequel tooo! Impressive acting on Wu Jin Yan’s part.
***********Spoilers below*******
Honestly I’m baffled by the princess idea of revenge and how easily she was willing to forgive and even encourage the person who approached her with sinister motives. Definitely not like her mother at all.
The whole thing just reads teenage high school drama. Could have just put everything into a movie and saved me the anticipation.
There were so many major plot holes which basically confused the whole ending and the progression of the story made no sense.
The male lead who hates someone with her personality fell for her in a matter of 3 days? Or maybe he fell for her because she rejected him? Second ML I don’t understand when he fell for her because the whole time he was taking pleasure in conspiring against her.
Tbh Fu Heng’s not so biological son got off unbelievably easy for someone who put the life and well being of a princess at risk and calling a noble consort by name in front of a lot of servants when in the first season Wei Ying Lou couldn’t even say her sisters real name because part of the name was the same as some consort’s name.
Thoroughly disappointed.

This movie felt like a Frankenstein's monster of movie ideas that the writer even lost track of-flying guillotines (1975 movie), a compass that doesn't point north (Pirates of the Caribbean), Fire Benders and Water Benders, a Tiger Gargoyle(?), and as always in these types of movies there's a glowing orb of destiny. Finally, I honestly thought at one point they might quote, "One ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them." (LOTR) Making everything more confusing because of new censor requirements the writer had to do some writing gymnastics to not use mythological characters making the monsters wanting to take over the world aliens instead. This movie included a lot of CGI characters. There might have been a love triangle or square but that was also not made clear.
The cast was very likeable and did a good job with what they had to work with. Ridiculous as it seems, I enjoyed the ride they took me on even if I didn't understand it half the time. Fortunately, the movie focused more on the human characters than on the creatures. The story all boiled down to the old end of the world ploy that the band of heroes had to find a way to divert. Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination but not completely worthless in terms of entertainment value either.

"I just want people to 'like' me. Is that so wrong?"
Based on the view count, fan-made music videos that followed, and the number of 'Following' on the actress' Instagram that seemingly skyrocketed (I read that from the comments on youtube), this short film definitely succeeded in going viral. Production-wise, you can see that they put a lot of thoughts and effort into making this one. They flew to Japan to film this, and the cinematography and illustration proved its production value. It's nice to look at, and the music is very good as well.
Everyone (in the comments on youtube) agrees to the same idea that the story contains a good message about how you should value your beauty and self-worth from within – that is, if you totally disregard the fact that it's a commercial for a skin care clinic. One of the top comments on the official video said that the skin care clinic logo at the end was like a "slap in the face". "You fell for it, sucker. Now come on down and get your meteorite face fixed."
I'm disagreeing with that point completely. The main message as I see it is to actually care about your beauty "in real life" as opposed to wanting to be "liked" online by using apps to fix your face. If you look at it that way, and maybe watch it again, you'll see that the message is really there, but somehow the majority is not getting it. Either way, both points are still solid. Besides that brand logo at the end, they didn't cooperate the brand into this short film at all.
For me, it's doing well as a short film. The fact that this lacks the quality of being a "Thai" production, though, is a bit too bad.

One of gmmtv’s best bl
This is one of gmmtv’s best if not best bl. Mix did such a good job for his first lead role in a series. Wasn’t the BEST acting, prob where mix can improve is his crying scenes. Seems like he has a tough time finding that spot to start his water works but other than that, for his first lead role he did amazing. The music is always on point. And can I give props to the kids. They did a great job! The cinematography was really a step up in this series compared to other gmmtv’s bl series. Story in this is really nice and different. Because it’s different it’s nice and refreshing. Not too sure on the rewatch ability on this series but having said that, you def have to watch this. Won’t be disappointedWas this review helpful to you?
Acting/Cast: I said in the last one that I loved Fujiwara Tatsuya and Matsuyama Kenichi as Light and L, and that definitely didn't change while watching this movie.
Toda Erika got more time in this one, as was expected, and I liked her in her role as Misa as well. In the manga/anime, my opinion on Misa always varied. I'd love her one second and then really dislike her the next. Toda Erika managed to make it so I was a Misa fan from start to finish.
Music: Again, I don't remember much of the music in this movie. The only song I can remember, other than the suspenseful music they sometimes tossed in, was a RHCP song.
Rewatch Value: I scored it one higher than the first movie because, like I said, I definitely enjoyed this one more.
Overall: Overall, I loved it. The ending in the manga had me kind of sad. The ending in the anime had me crying. The ending of the movie actually had me bawling.
My only complaint with this movie, other than that damn RHCP song, is that it seemed a little anticlimactic. The ending felt like it was too fast at times, and then too slow at times, but in the end, it was still anticlimactic.

to start with, i don't have any expectations when i start watching. But because of the comedy, the unique characters, and dinners i keep on watching.Tang Fan character is just my favorite kind, the clumsy, prodigy & eats a lot. Well his character got weakened somehow in last few episodes, which really bothers me, but at least it doesn't happen for too long.
Sui Zhou, the dubbing for his character bothers me the most. but i got used to it. I really like the bromance he had with Tang Fan. He's great leader, cook, and almost all the girls had crush on him (including me)
Wang Zhi, i can't take my eyes from him he's just really cute. He also got a good character development. At first i was confused by his actions, i can't really see which side he was on. But then, I was amazed by how loyal he is to the Emperor and Empress. His character wasn't even 20 and already that smart, i truly can't relate.
Case solving was really fun and it's connected one and another. The comedic timing is perfect, it's truly Jackie Chan's styled.
Side characters like Dong'Er, Pei Huai, DoEr La, was great too. their teamwork with the trio ML was great. My favorite scenes is when they all eating together and when Tang Fan goes undercover (i still can't get over it (≧▽≦))
There are no annoying character, beside the villains.
i really love the cinematography, i could see that they really put effort into it. The fighting scenes were nicely choreograph too! I didn't pay much attention to the music, but the ones in the intro and outro were good.
However the editing on first few episodes were a mess. The characters were still talking but it's suddenly cuts to outro. Also the episodes were incoherent, they're almost not connected at all. And the storyline got weakened during ep 20 to 30's, i guess that's inevitable since there's 48 episodes.
I really, really, love the ending.
I didn't cry, it just makes me crave for another season.
If you could tolerate plot holes and lots of eating scenes then i recommend you this drama.

I loveeeeee it!
OMG! Don’t really know how to review it here since i’m not good in English, my native language isn’t included in the list, but i try.. :D I love this kind of drama, have already rewatched it twice.. Believe me, it’s worth watching, especially if you wanna have a good cry (i cried more in Siege in Fog, love that drama too). At least here, the couple had more sweet memorable times together compared to the couple in SIF, not to forget those 2 awesome sidekicks, love their brotherhood,.. and the OST, it’s so beautiful, i just can’t get enough.. ❤️❤️ For me, all the actions and behaviors of the characters in this drama are understandable, everyone has their own character, personality, obsession, pride, lack/wrong guidance that have made them irrational. They’re not as rational as us, the viewers :p .. so just enjoy the drama, and start appreciate and be grateful for what we’ve had now, be it love, freedom, peace, etc.. :D❤️I wish they had bonus scene for their reunion, give them happiness after all the suffering...
Give it a try.. :D❤️

But Cupid and the forces of destiny have other, more magical plans in store for our heartbroken hero. We see him running away from Pla in one of the flashbacks in ep 1, while hiding he angrily watches Pla from afar, with a statue of Cupid right near him with his raised bow. Ultimately...the deep fixation Tai has for Pla-and in his anger of her...steams of desire will grow until he do force and blackmail her into marrying him. Love bloomed without neither of them really expecting in their course of fighting each other. Pla gives him the kiss that awakens him from his cloud of hatred and vengeance. It is such a intense but highly entertaining journey. They are lovers to be tested in this long sweet journey, but as Cupid wills it, "love conquers all".
Romance in "Love and Deception" really worked out for me because Pla and Tai were both interesting characters and together they fired up the screen. Their relationship developement was done and built very well. All props to the actors Chippy and Puen as well, its my first time watching them on-screen and they gave delightful performances. I totally loved the child-actor playing Tan as well, so cute! What i had most problem with this lakhorn was actually the editing. It was good sometimes, but very bad in some other cases which was very obvious in the start and end of this lakhorn.

Voice Season 2: Generation of Disgust

I am a big fan of Lee Jin Wook, and as usual, he never disappoints us in this drama. He just nailed it and stood out of his character as a “psychopath detective”. Some are comparing him with Jang Hyuk from season 1 which is very unnecessary for me. Acting-wise, he’s very capable and versatile.
Since this season has ended only for 12 episodes and season 3 is expecting to continue the cliff-hanging issues and unanswered questions, I could say story-wise, I was looking for something more, but still, I believe we can be able to know and understand the whole story, connect all the puzzles and enjoy the bloody fight to the next level of season 3.
Just be patient and see you soon

A MUST WATCH DRAMA!
Finally! I just finished watching this drama today because of the subtitles.I waited a week for me to watch the last episode, LOL! If you're into the heavy or darker type of drama, this one is not for you. This drama is too light but addicting to watch. It's funny and sweet. I like how the lead actress act, It's too natural. I also enjoy the stories of the other couples here. They should have turned this drama into 16 episodes instead of having just 10. I really wish to see more of Ye Seul (Bo Mi) and Yoo Jin (Joo Woo Jae). This drama is really entertaining.
