Rubyy Truely an exceptional ending to an exceptional drama.
This episode had me crying, laughing, smiling. Feeling sadness as well as happiness. So many different emotions in the space of 45 minutes.
Finally everything gets cleared up in this episode. We find out what really happened to Iwata san at the train station platform.
The drama starts with the line "All people are bound to die one day, so it makes you wonder why we are even born."
The final episode answers this question for us. Make sure you watch it to find out why...

The behavior of the characters is too far from reality.
But I do recall the synopsis of the drama: a son in love with his mother.

dapinaymrs Rooftop Prince continues to bring on the laughs while building-up the over-all plot and scheme of things. The Prince and his posse are still awkwardly trying to adapt to their modern environment and Episode 3 gives us fluff for our main leads.
I don't think I can predict what's going to happen next but what is clear is that I'm enjoying how they present the world to those Joseon men. How they are going to tie those lose ends is a mystery still worth uncovering. Taking a step closer. :)

purplenette OMG...this epiode was so intense!!! I absolutely love Kim Hang Ah and Lee Jae Ha!!! I can't wait until the next episode. The realtionship is awesome!!! When he "shot" her I about passed out!!!

iindu The plot isn't moving much. Many characters have been introduced so far, but they are wandering in their own lines now.
I don't really get why after all these years, suddenly, Gyeom is being hunted for with such urgency?
One thing alone is VERY clear thus far- No need to fear for Gyeom/ Yong's life. He has amazing powers of sustaining life. He has been hit and abused severely and left for dead so many times till now, and survived it all like a charm.
Don't look for logic, it's all in his inner strength to survival.

Becca256 So I'm still trying to figure out what to make of this show. In the historical part: was the king really in love with the princess or was he really in love with the sister? What happened to Boo Yong after her sister died? In the modern part: What happened to the original guy, how did she end up in the US? Still I'll continue watching this for now

Time goes along, the boys are growing up. More barbarism continues to happen in his life. You can see the base they are building up for the character of Iljimae to show up finally and justifiably.

akin15 yeah i loved this episode but i think it's also the turning point or starting point for everything.
The historical Yoochun near death experience was sad but when the present Yoochun comes it's like "yeah im here." but that also gives me a sudden realization that the present Yoochun is indeed dead well.. like his real body or something.
Otherwise he wouldn't be able to basically posses him right?

Doremeduck This episode was really great. It still contained all the humor from the previous episodes, but now the plot thickens and there are more swists and turns to the point that I couldn't turn away from the screen. The best part had to be seeing Yoochun dressed up as a Panda :) I can't wait for next week.

Every historical Korean drama I've watched makes me wonder at the brutality of the social structure they show. The evil characters are so many and 'evil', and the punishments/judgements are inhumane to the point of being absurd. Every next person is being killed, labelled a traitor and tortured to death and so on at somebody's whim or fancy. I can't help but think - If this is all true, it must have been torture to just live in those times.

PrettyBrown_Eyes I am so happy with the ending :) it made all the fustration and sometimes boredom worthwhile. This episode was so touching and heartwarming. BH didnt die but forgets everything about YS and YS only. Heartbroken YS still carries on with the wedding - the video BH had recorded before the accident is shown at the recpetion and boy...get your tissues ready. This was the best scene out of the whole series...I really really loved this scene. It captures everything about love and friendship - my heart was breaking watching BH's dying message T.T. YS runs out and after an encounter with Daddy Conductor she looks for BH and creates new memories with him. She re-introduces herself like how they first met and something twinges in BH's heart (what the mind forgets the heart will still remember). Although he was really reluctant he grows fond of her...again...really soon. I love how they made YS work to win him back after everything BH had done to win her back...I guess that makes them even :) YS's grandad pops in for a visit and...well....happily ever after :)

Sunorah19 Okay, I just watched the 1st ep and it seems promising so far. I really like Jang Geun Seok's character because it's different from his other characters he's portrayed before. He's shy and awkward at times which makes him cute in my opinion ^_^ I've heard from other comments that they don't really care for Im Yoon Ah but this is my 1st time watching her in a drama so I really don't know. She seems to be doing good so far. Since I'm only judging from the 1st ep, I can't say much, but I really hope this drama turns out to be great as it goes along ^_^.
