I mean, it's shoujo and so it's going to have these issues, but I found the two leads to have all the raging sexual chemistry that you expect to find from a relationship between Tinkerbell and Spock - that is, none whatsoever. The male lead, Uehara, is undemonstrative and withholding right to the edge of abuse, and the female protagonist, Nao, is romantically deluded and simple right to the edge of stupidity. Nao receives love confessions from several other boys who would all be better matches for her, but, no, the leads are trapped in a universe where they are destined to be together. The lead actors are both charismatic and deft given what they have to work with, but what really saves and redeems the show are the secondary and tertiary characters who are all quite likable and winning. There are a couple truly affecting moments in the series, and it is ultimately worth watching for those moments.

So this is a typical korean romance drama;) it's got everything you need. The plot was really simple and everything was pretty predictable, but also enjoyable to watch ;) if you're looking or something really light to watch, then go for it. Not to mention each episode lasts 15 minutes! So you won't waste too much time if you don't like it;) I laughed a lot during this show, but not because of the comedy but lousy writing or scenes planning :D for example, a guy looks out of a car window and the guy BEHIND him comments on his smile :D or when they guy went to see the girl... he was travelling by car so you would expect her to look for him near the road, right? Wrong! It's better to search in between the apple trees :D and of course, that's where he was ;) Oh and I'm pretty sure they messed up the sides of the guy's body where he got the wound. At first it was on the right side, and then suddenly on the left LOL. I hope I'm not giving too much spoilers of any kind ;) So yeah, it was poorly done and nothing special, but it was light and nice and enjoyable. Not to mention pretty leads - I really like when they're pleasant to watch. So altogether, if you want to laugh about these silly things and see some nice kindergarten-level romance - i totally recommend it! ;)

This is my first time writing a review in mydramalist and I decide to do it so that many people will recognize how beautiful this drama is.

First, the reason why i give 10 out of 10 is because i like this drama soooo much. I finished this drama around 10 minutes before I decide write this review and I cant really describe how grateful I am right now for all the subbers that have subbed this drama.
I am someone who have been korean and japanese drama lover since 8 years ago and this drama is being my top 5 all time along with reply 1997, reply 1988, with you, and a love so beautiful.

This drama is simply about a slice of life. But whats amazing about this drama is that it contains soooo many things, it will give you so many feels, like heartwarming, nostalgic feels etc. It will give you a story of a real friendship should be, a family relationsip, will motivate you to believe in yourself and do not ever give up, will motivate you to be a kind person, and will give you a positive vibe until the very last minute. And there is also cute romance too in this drama. Every character in this drama stand out with each of their story and their problems are soooo real that I'm sure that at least there is one person somewhere in this world that had been facing those problems too.

I really recommend this drama to those who wanna watch a slice of life drama, a heartwarming drama, or to those who are looking for something that can give you motivation to keep work hard and do not ever give up.

(sorry, this is my first review)

Not a bad Lakorn, there are nice and funny scenes as we wish. (only for secondary couples)
The reason for the low grade is "for whom the script came".
Most viewers do not like the theme that this Lakorn automatically loads, eventually do not like the story.
But for those who sympathize with the theme (which is something off the KDrama line), this is very good.
I was afraid of certain scenes, but I had to understand the theme of the story.
Honestly, it is something that you will love or hate so much.
Personally, I wish the female leadership would be more difficult with the one who caused her pain.

What pleased me, was undoubtedly the performance of everyone in the cast. That yes, it is something good in this work.

What happens if you remove all conflict from a drama and leave only the really cute bits? You get this very cute show. An alternate title could be "conversations between hot men," because that's pretty much all that happens.

But don't let that discourage you! I was looking for something fluffy and this fit the bill perfectly. I smiled and giggled my way through every episode (though I got bored in the episode with the pageant, which seemed to last longer than an actual pageant).

This plot lacks the tension of SOTUS, which it's often compared to. But I disapproved of SOTUS's enthusiasm for hazing too much and couldn't really enjoy it. Two Moons didn't have anything to object to. It was nice that the heroes were both basically interested in each other from the beginning (though there's some of that stupid BL "I'm only gay for you" nonsense).

If you're looking for more tension, the secondary couple have more conflict--and more flirting. And they are very, very cute. As are the tertiary couple, come to think of it... okay, this university is entirely populated by hot gay guys.

Best thing about this series is that it focused closely on these likable main characters so I never felt like there were throw-away scenes. The show would probably have higher rewatch value if there was a bit more plot and tension, but I still enjoyed the heck out of this show. As undemanding and fluffy as they come, if that's what you're looking for.

The original manga is okay, not amazing, but not bad. The movie version didn't hold my interest, unfortunately.

My disappointment could be partly due to the fact that I didn't find the stars attractive. But maybe worse, they also didn't have much chemistry. Chemistry can make up for a low budget and a weak script, but with no chemistry it's hard to keep watching.

As in the manga, the characters have really stereotypical seme/uke personalities. The seme is typically emotionally restrained and domineering. Maybe with a better actor and more chemistry, I could have overlooked his major personality defects. But instead I just ended the movie finding him really annoying.

This drama, although super long, is worth watching! Especially if you are a fan of Jo Jung Suk who never disappoints!

I'm writing this review after having watched this a second time (although this time through I fast-forwarded through most of it). I didn't have an account on MDL when I watched it the first time but now that I've watched it again I really want to share my feelings on it.

To me what makes this drama worth watching is definitely IU and Jo Jung Suk, their chemistry was spectacular. Do not let the age gap scare you, because their romance is just so pure! I shipped them so hard and they're one of my favorite kdrama couples. Joon Ho is so sweet and clumsy. Even though he acts tough, he makes a fool out of himself so many times which makes him such an endearing character, not to mention the amount he cares for Soon Shin. Joon Ho supports and cheers for Soon Shin when everyone else in her life bosses her around and treats her like crap. He's the only one who truly cares about what her desires are and knows her better than she seems to know herself. He supports her and chases after her in front of all obstacles.

Soon Shin is sensitive and naive. I wouldn't call her a "strong female lead" but she perseveres through so many obstacles and even if she falls down for a bit, she always gets back up. Her resilience is inspiring. IU did a wonderful job. Of course it did kind of drive me crazy just how naive they make her character. There were also many times when I just wanted her to confront her family, or people who were putting her down and just go all out but I really did enjoy her character and enjoyed watching her grow. That's one of the reason's I love Joon Ho so much though, because he brings out the best of Soon Shin. He encourages her to be brave and go for what she wants despite the disapproval of others. She's her best self when she's with him and I love that she brings out his playful side. Their relationship is so fun and innocent and because it was so hard fought, it made me love them all the more. Their scenes together were easily my favorite scenes. I don't think I've ever rooted for a couple more than I rooted for Joon Ho and Soon Shin. In fact, my biggest regret of the whole drama was that they didn't get enough scenes!!! Sometimes they would barely even show up together in an episode and there was definitely enough time for them to have more scenes because this dramas 50 episodes long!

Ugh, anyway. I also liked Jin Wook played by Jung Woo. He was super goofy and entertaining and his relationship with Hye Sin played by Son Tae Young was one of the other good things about this drama. Chan Woo and Yoo Shin were okay but their relationship wasn't as interesting to me. Oh and I also loved In Sung by Lee Ji Hoon. I loved the tiny bits of comedy he added and his interactions with Joon Ho were funny^^ Young Hoon or the restaurant manager played by Lee Ji Hoon ( the other Lee Ji Hoon) was another calming and stable character in a drama full of so many nuts characters, so he was a nice addition.

This drama is definitely has the melodrama thing going for it though and it's one of those dramas that's fullllll of unnecessary misunderstandings. The kind of misunderstandings that can be cured by literally a sentence. The second time through I pretty much fast-forwarded through scenes that weren't of the main couple or certain characters I liked, because honestly this drama drags out misunderstandings like nobody's business. You definitely have to be able to tolerate psycho characters or let yourself scream at them. So that leads me to my biggest problem with this drama. And yes it has to do with this dramas length. The Mom and Grandma get waaaaaaay too much screen time and are in no way "a joy" to watch. Also, many of the conflicts in this drama were simply unnecessary and the misunderstandings didn't add to the drama but took away from it. While watching I had the feeling that the writers just enjoyed putting us through misery because of all the times I wanted to pull my hair out. I also hated that the writers sometimes made certain characters too insane. There were many characters that the writers made unrealistically terrible for a period of like 10 episodes or sometimes more. Like I hated Yoo Shin for the first 10 episodes and I hated the mom for like 15 episodes in the middle and oh the grandma... don't even get me started. Then there were some characters that were just psycho the whole time *cough* Yun Ah.

So the value in this KDrama defintely lies in the main couple's relationship and chemistry. If they got more screen time and other characters less, well the whole drama would have been significantly better. My opinion on this overall is that there weren't enough moments where the characters were allowed to have fun or be happy and there were way too many things dragged out/over dramatized. But my love for certain characters in this drama really made it worth watching and that's saying a lot considering it's 50 episodes. So I suggest you watch it! But only if you're into romance and super cute couples or if you are a fan of IU or Jo Jung Suk. Seriously IU and Jo Jung Suk, ugh so adorable. I shed tears while watching, screamed while watching, but also squealed and grinned so wide while watching. And I can say that after finishing this the second time, I genuinely feel sad.

This review may contain spoilers
This is my first review....so my apologies if I lack in anything. I'll try to make it short. ( No spoilers )

First off I want to say this was my first CDrama and I can't complain it took my CD virginity, not in the slightest.

This show is purely a work of art with a beautiful story and amazing characters, landscapes, music, acting and costumes. Filled with love and betrayal and a little mystery, it gets very intense and sucks you right in. The only thing I felt lacking was only the graphics which isn't that big of a deal (For me anyways). The acting for me was on point the actors did very well with their roles and played their part to the finest. I really love how they gave backstories to the characters it gets you more attached to them (as I did) and get to know them better and see their point of view, which I feel a lot of shows lack of. I got so attached to this I had to keep telling my self not to binge-watch it so I didn't finish it fast well...that wasn't the case I just couldn't stop, I craved for more. It's just too good. If you can get past the graphics this show it is one of the best ADramas in my opinion (A lot of people will agree). I haven't found one to top it yet. It has opened me up to these types of dramas, yes I spent hours and hours watching it and it is so worth it I highly recommend it to anyone.

I cannot wait for the adaptation for this show. I am sure some people do not know of it so I will leave it here,

...because it's fan service with a running time.

With experience in watching Kdramas and Jdramas, you learn when to expect a well made, deep plot and good acting, and you can quickly see when it's purely girly fan service. For those who did not figure it out yet; This is girly fan service.

Ways to spot this is for example the cheesy title that implies incest. The super pink and girly cover. The fact that it's a reverse harem. And lastly, it is based on a romance manga. This combination is how you know it's a low budget drama.

I can understand why it's low budget though because this is just a prequel to a movie coming up at the end of June.

Before watching this prequel or the movie i suggest you abandon you expectations of:
a plot, good acting, deep message, good soundtrack, good filming, good script or a red thread. It's just a cute girl in a reverse harem with a lot of ikemen playing 18 years old.

All my guilty pleasure friends.....

...ENJOY!!

Im dropping this drama half way through episode 10 so I will not leave a rating.

This drama had a good start. Fine, it's not the most original story but sometimes remakes can hit home. This didn't.

I'm gonna start with the conclusion for the lazy readers.

The story is not so original but I had hopes for it anyway. Sadly they couldn't keep it logical and used tricks to make things go the way they wanted. The romance is not believable and the acting is not very good. This combination made the romance unbearable and the script, very cheesy. The development didn't make sense and they included a very disturbing and unwanted love implying incest.

Here is my more detailed review:

The reason I'm saying this is because this is one of those dramas that abandon all logic to make it go the way the writers want it to. The curse is used in a way that doesn't really make sense or have meaning. As far as the 10 episodes I've watched there is no explanation to why it exist (Maybe they bring it up later? i don't know) or how it works. The only thing that's presented to us is that The first son's first wife will be used as a sacrifice for the guarding spirit of their house hold.

I don't see this as a problem considering that in 2014 Korea it's not unusual for people to live together or be intimate with each other without being married. Even if it would be frowned upon I seriously think the people would make an exception, considering they're saving someone's life.

I also found the romance development ridiculous. I wasn't feeling it at all and it felt rushed, which is weird since there are still 6 more episodes to go. It's like there's an unfinished battle between them but all of a sudden they're in love. I feel like they use the running time the wrong way and the last 3 episodes will probably be dragged out romance.

To make it worse, Yang Jin Sung isn't the best actress in my book since she always shows 6 different emotions at a time but it was bearable because of Lee Hong Ki. Not because he is especially talented but because he's charming.

This drama is also filled with contradiction and a hint of incestial thoughts in it. You can list as many excuses you want to why it's not incest but if you think about it, the basic principal is still there.

But there's a crazy lady that hits people so...

....ENJOY!!

...cause if all the ends are tied at episode 38, don't make 40 episodes.

If you're considering watching this, this is what you should expect:

Great acting. All the actors did a great job portraying their characters. If you're a fan of JCW you will not be disappointed. Also a very special hats off to Dong Ha who plays the criminal in this drama. He was outstanding. I'll be following his work a lot more after this.

The sub story was amazing.
It really took me by surprise. I've never seen such a well thought out and executed villains plot and it was very deep and moving. They had all the right twists in the right places and I love that they put out subtle hints throughout the drama, warning you about the final twist, so subtle that I did not figure it out.

There's an on and off relationship.
The reason I'm calling it a sub story is because it gets over shadowed by the romance.
Indeed this is a romance thriller but I would have wished for more emphasis on the "thriller" part since that part of the story was so great. Although I love a bit of romance, I can only take in the right amount and when it's an "on and off" relationship like in this drama, I want to shoot the female character. Therefore I will not be taking my hat off for the lead actress. Because of her character and because I didn't really enjoy her acting.

There is also a few faint love triangles moving around but it was bearable. they lasted very shortly and all the female and male characters were all very cool about.

38/40 episodes.

They could have easily wrapped up the whole thing at 38 but they added 2 extra filler episodes. As if you didn't get enough romance through out the entire drama, the last 2 episodes will put you in their everyday, boring life, which, if you're anything like me, will make you hate the lead actress more than you did before. But you can end the agony anywhere you want. 38, 39, or 40. Depends on how much you care about their romance.

Overall this drama was very enjoyable, the acting was great, the characters were a piece of work but that really made them feel realistic. Hope this review was of any help to those who are still considering, instead of pressing play.

ENJOY!!!

......because she cried all the frikkin time....

The basic plot is kind of original but honestly super weird and it made me really uncomfortable but the execution lacked any originality. You will see the female lead who is kind of "unique" and cheerful with her two side kick best friends, the bad boy who needs friends and the broken male lead.

As usual with Japanese dramas or movies, when life gets tough, the female lead cries.... a lot... all the time.

The couple didn't have any chemistry so their on screen time was just really awkward while some scenes were just really uncalled for and didn't make sense at all.

I recommend this movie to Kamenashi Kazuya fan girls cause he is dressed as a cop. To everyone else I'd recommend you find ANY OTHER shoujo with a higher quality story and execution.

ENJOY!

...Because apparently women cant't do anything except get hit in the face...

This drama has a dark atmosphere and will make you feel frustration and helplessness. It's like screaming when no one's listening.

For the sensitive viewers:
It does not contain any grotesque scenes to be honest. The worst you will encounter is insanity. Other than that, sharp objects or other unpleasant things will be blurred out. (Of course, this is South Korean television were talking about. People are sent to the army but are not allowed to see sharp objects or dead animals... dead humans are fine though... )

I did not cry one single time!

The plus side:
The acting was very good. I think they all did a very good job. Considering how difficult the characters must have been to portray I think everyone did it perfectly.

It was well executed. The pace was comfortable and it was filmed in a very creepy way.

The minus side:
The women drove me a bit crazy. For some reason the after taste of this drama, tasted like WEAK WOMEN. I felt like all women in this drama were so fragile. Even a little push would break them. The men though, they were punching and kicking like animals...

I would have wanted some romance. The focus was in the right place but giving the audience one emotion for all 16 episodes is like chewing gum. It loses taste. I would have wanted the writers to fit in some physical contact between Sang Mi and Dong Cheol (Don't get me wrong. I mean a hug or something). If you watch this drama you will understand how much it would help. It wouldn't have to be a big deal. Just show a different kind of weakness. The one where you take a second to borrow strength, then recharge.

All in all, it was executed perfectly and it had a great story. I'm Just crabby cause I'm picky

This is the "forced into a cult with your family and being the only sane one, while society is too corrupt to save you" drama.

ENJOY!

Can't rate this (The suggested overall rating for this drama was 1.5/ 10 )

...Because cringe....

This drama has 8 episodes, each episode being between 15 - 20 min long.
It does not have a worked out plot, no real character development or character background, it has a very fast pace and plenty of plot holes.

Prepare for many cringy scenes and a lot of bad acting.
(Comedy, romance and drama should not be tags in this drama)

I'd recommend this for drama watchers who are very tired and just need something brainless to watch.

It did have one good point though; The BL parodies were too frikkin funny, I enjoyed those parts the most but I they also made me cringe a bit extra.

ENJOY!!

Abandoning logic to keep the plane from crashing when it's your only parachute

A fantasy, romance drama with a slight crime twist to it and some comedic elements.

This contains
- An awkward female lead with the ability to foresee the future in her dreams
- Your typical arrogant, handsome male lead who will be the boyfriend against all odds.
- A handsome, second male lead
- Your typical love triangle
- Potential murders, crimes and accidents
- Some blood, and graphic scenes. (On a light level)
- The unraveling of a past secret
- Interesting and creative plot twist.
- Refreshing comedy
- Hand holding investigations

Personally, I think the writers got a bit too excited in creating the origin of her powers. The story didn't really make sense to me and it was almost falling apart with plot holes.

I also think that the pace was awkward at times. Characters would have their personality or relationship change in a very sudden and uncomfortable way, which made everything feel a bit out of the blue and unrealistic. On top of that I found them a bit dull and hard to love. This could be a side affect from some of the actors not performing very well.

The pace was a bit too slow for my personal taste.

There were some major medical misses that should have gotten more attention.

RECOMMEND

If you tend to analyze dramas and movies, are easily bothered by production or writing mistakes, recognize good and bad acting, like to play sherlock while watching crime and have strong preferences, this is probably not for you.

instead I'd recommend this drama to those who want to spice up their every day comedy romance dramas or too those who started watching Korean dramas recently. This is because the drama introduces many tags without going in too deep on any of them. The romance, comedy, crime, law and graphics are all light and the plot is not too deep or difficult to like while it stays interesting and fresh to new viewers.

ENJOY!!
