*The story is amazing and very compelling. It is perfect for this generation since they showed that LGBT relationships are not a huge issue anymore, that bisexual must not be ashamed of who they are and whom they wanted to be with.
*The actors are REALLY GOOD. Their acts are magnificent. Perfect in every scene. It only showed that the director is excellent. I commend the director for a job well done.
*The theme song is perfect for the story. The musical scores are dragging. The best.
*I personally watched the entire series many many many times, like 8-10 x? Is it not enough to justify why I rate "rewatch value" 10/10?
OVERALL: THE BEST!
I love that you decided to make a part 2. Gosh. Thanks a lot. You made your viewers really happy. LOVE YOU ALL CASTS AND STAFFS of SOTUS and SOTUS S.

For me, even with the 15 minutes length of every episode, they seem so long. The biggest problem with this show for me was that the main lead was so manipulator that Cha Yoon Seo should have run away as far as possible from him since the beginning. I really don't understand how she could  liked him.
On the other hand, there's no surprise for a k-drama. You have the 2nd male lead who is a nice guy, the witch-mother in law... almost every one of the stereotypes of this kind of drama, but at least, in a really short time.

I was aware of its existence for a while now but I didn’t dare or care to watch because it wasn’t SOTUS-level popular and I never liked the movie version anyways. I was bored to death one weekend after several weeks of watching and re-watching a series of BL drama released this year – 2 Moons, My Dear Loser: Edge of 17 and Together With Me. After getting tired of them, I decided to give My Bromance The Series a chance.

Having the separation of the two main characters and the death of Golf as my final memory of the movie, the pilot episode made me confused. It started eight years later after they were separated and it was set in two foreign locations. From the get go, the foreshadowing of what would be the main conflict was already conveyed. I had to detach myself from the original film because clearly the series was taking a different route. In the beginning, the execution wasn’t impressive and the acting of the new set of actors were still in question. As the next episodes went on, more revelations unfolded. The storyline wasn’t simple. More characters were involved, several conflicts branched out and multiple timelines were introduced.

The beauty of My Bromance The Series was the storytelling. It’s not the most well-produced drama but the editing was done smartly. They have thoughtfully woven the past and the present in a way that the viewers will easily understand the heart of the story and the points of view of the characters. The screenplay was rich in details because it didn’t just show where the current state of the main characters are eight years after. They were able to inject the history behind the present. The parallelism was clever. It pushed the development of Golf’s and Bank’s characters as well as their relationship. It showed that who we are now is the effect of all the things we experienced in the past. I thought it would be difficult to pull off such an approach but the big picture was crystal clear.

Golf and Bank’s chemistry may not be the most exciting I’ve seen on screen. Their roles have to be portrayed as exact opposites and the friction between them was at times unbearable. What made it work so wonderfully was the script. The profiling of their characters was explicit and the building up of their relationship was done thoroughly. The storylines weren’t left hanging in spite of some parts that were left untold - the real reason why Golf and Bank were away from each other, Golf’s strong attachment to their old house, Bank’s engagement to Jackson. The foreshadowing gave out concrete hints without the need to deliver the scenes where they lead to. In effect, the plot was tight and there was no repetition. The lack of a natural chemistry didn’t bother me because what was shown was an extraordinary love story.

My Bromance The Series was one of a kind because it's the only Thai BL series that centered family values. Golf and Bank are stepbrothers. Unlike other BL couples who first met at school, their first meeting was at their house. Being their home as the primary setting added a different layer to the story. Their boy-to-boy relationship alone was already questionable. Even though they are not related by blood, they were still brothers in the eyes of their mom and dad. Having such a kind of relationship was deemed scandalous. Evidently, it wasn’t tolerated which caused the eight-year gap. But the irony was the people who caused their breakup were the same people who brought them together. Most BL plots usually limit the role of family. Others even evade it. It’s refreshing to see that My Bromance The Series didn't just address it but it was made vital to Golf and Bank’s relationship.

In just two sittings, I have finished the entire series. There was no wasted time. Every scene has a purpose. Each moment was relevant. The twists and turns were exhilarating. It didn’t rely on the chemistry of the actors to sell the story, which was also its downfall. It’s disappointing that My Bromance The Series didn’t soar. I understand where the other comments were coming from about the acting, execution, direction and so on. But there is no perfect series. And in terms of screenplay, this is the quality content that I’m looking for in a story. Not all series have depth and substance nowadays. And I’m so happy that I got bored one weekend and decided to watch My Bromance The Series. It turned out to be one of the most satisfying BL series I’ve ever seen.

My advice: don't watch this.

The FL falls for someone who doesn't deserve her. Then she humiliates herself over and over again by confessing her love endlessly. And then when the supposedly ML decides to accept her as a girlfriend, she jumps right into his arms. Sad, very sad and demeaning to women. Loving unconditionally is romantic. What is not, is obsessing over someone who doesn't give a damn. We frown upon rivals who don't give up, even when their affections are unrequited. Then why do the writer expect us to cheer for a heroine that does that and doesn't really value herself as a human. Yes she is disqualified from beginning to end for her stupidity and shallowness.

I loved this drama. It's a complete hot mess from the very first frame and continues without any hope of getting better.
And this is what makes it awesome.
Main lead dude is cray-z for no reason and then chooses to be crazy because he knows his love is crazy.
Lead doormat, well, maybe you can find why these dudes were nearly killing themselves and each other over her, because I didn't see it.
Has a second lead that you root for, then you just want him to die.
Why does anyone still listen to a second lead female after the betrayal train.

For Point of Reference.
The writer must've studied Thai Lakorns and forgot to add a wack gun fight or the wedding that hell built,...oh wait...Just kidding, maybe.

I would watch this again and again.

I am not sure how I stumbled upon this classic drama but I'm really happy I did. I generally avoid older dramas after dealing with way to many over the top emotional crazed ex-girlfriends and future MIL's always torturing the poor female leads 90% of the story. Not to say  this one doesn't have it's crazy antagonists but no as much as many others of this era.
I loved the grandfather's relationship with the lead actress, It's so cute how he has her back. The romance is filled with mixture of silly, tender, frustrating, and sweet moments...I found myself laughing on more than one occasion in several episodes.  Overall it has some magic in it still worthy of a marathon weekend. It may not be as polished as Kdramas of today but sometimes stepping back in time has value....Go ahead...Add it to your rainy weekend watch list.

In all honesty, I really did love this drama. Is it out-of-this world spectacular? Certainly not. But it was interesting enough, with a unique enough story line and quite a lot of action in the beginning that it now holds a special place in my heart. Plus, there's always the added factor of Lee Jong Suk.

That being said, there were some parts where it was definitely lacking: An unfinished story line being the one to drive me insane. While the story was unique and creative, and it was interesting to jump between this manhwa world and the real world and see how they meshed and the certain factors that would draw certain people into each of the two worlds, the drama ended with me having more questions than I had answered, ultimately. I was hoping we'd touch base on so many things, but we never did! And so, in the end, because certain backstories weren't explored and certain questions weren't answered and had no intentions of being answered, the drama for the second half became quite slow and predictable; lacking its initial bang.

Of course, I still gave it such decently high ratings because I did really enjoy the unique twist, especially for a drama, and the unique story and array of characters. It didn't follow your typical action, fantasy, or romance dramas. It was a nice mix of it all.

It has been such a long time since I have watched a drama that could make me tear up soo many times.

This is a very good family drama that had me in tears throughout the show. I loved the story and all the actors/actresses who portrayed the characters. Although I was originally led to this drama because of Deng Lun and a YouTube FMV (fan made video), once I started the first episode I was immediately hooked in. I completely disregarded romance, and was actually watching it because it had a meaningful and engaging story line.

Because of Meeting You is a story of how powerful family and love can lead to both selflessness and selfishness. Everything the majority of the characters ever do in this drama is because they care for someone, but in the process, their actions end up harming other people. There are definitely just as many heart-wrenching scenes as there are heartwarming scenes.

At times, Yuxin (the sister) really got on my nerves because of how extremely selfish she was, and all the lies on top of other lies to cover a background she should not have hidden or been ashamed of in the first place. Other than that, the development of the characters were very significant. I liked that I saw growth in each and every character. The ones that touched me the most was the character development of the Yunzhe (older brother) and Hui Jie (head embroiderer). I also found He Juan (Yunzhe's mother) quite funny, and Le Tong (daughter) very cute. Overall, the acting was excellent.

This drama is most definitely re-watchable, but one teeny factor keeping me from giving it a rewatch value of 10/10 is because I am not sure I want to suffer through Yuxin's lies again (it triggered me so much...).

Finally, I absolutely loved how the ending came full circle and ended with a little insight on how the title: Because of Meeting You came to be. It was ultimately about two lovers tied by fate meeting again and because of each other they are able to overcome much greater obstacles (as presented by the story line).

This is such a great movie family movie. It has kid main actors and adults and a dog. First of all the dog did such a good job concentrating and following its role it seems natural. The two kid friends so so well acting and thinking like adults. They teach ia so much thru their story and their selflessness and truthfulness will have an impact on the viewer. The adults did great too keeping up and adding to the humor. It felt like a steven Spielberg movie because it was well directed for a kids movie.

This was such a feel good show i rnjoyes every bit of it. The leading and second actors were all fantastic i enjoyed how different their roles meshed together. Kim ji won has always been the scary ex girlfriend in most shows including heirs. I dont think ive ever seen her smile. This is the first shes been the lead in a romance comedy. It was refreshing seeing her being poor and relaxed lol!!. Dong man on the other hand is upcoming and hes got some body. Seol hee fit this role so perfectly with her innocence just like in sweden laundry. Lastly joo man was also perfect in keeping his composure thru highs and lows poverty and riches. Anyways a great fun show

I avoided this drama for such a long time. The poster didn't look appealing, the cast not interesting enough.  But now I've finally finished this gem within 2 to 3 days. There were so many things I loved about this drama, and it certainly made me put everything else aside. I rushed through the story like I haven't done for a very long time because I fell down a very deep rabbit hole. And despite my sudden addiction to this, I had a hard time rating it.

The drama has a very good, fast pace throughout the whole  story. There was a well woven net of deception and order of events that led to a well carried (but also kinda calm) finale, even though I still  felt like being in the middle of the story at the beginning of the final episode. I could have watched so much more. Seriously.

Characters (played by a high level cast) were so well written, so multifaceted, so likable - some more, some less. There  were bad guys who were bad and clever, good guys were good and clever,  the police was actually police and seemed to get its job done properly while the power-division/struggle was evenly shared and well balanced. There was always the right amount of give and take and there was no one who would always have the upper hand.

Action scenes were also very well choreographed without looking excessive, but still emanating some coolness. The best thing about that part: Even though there were many fights with one guy versus many gangsters... They never made them look like superhumans with endless physical strength and stamina. Regarding the environment they grew up, they were of course well trained. But that never meant that they were able to take on a bunch of ruthless thugs and get away unscathed. They either got beaten pretty badly or were able to run away in the end. And that is way more realistic than everything else you so often see in other dramas.

Romance was... intense and hot but sometimes also on  the short side. I mean I'm a fan of dramas where romantic scenes appear  rather rarely. Because when they do happen they feel so much deeper.  And I just wished that those rare scenes in this story would have been  extended a little bit. Though I can't blame the writers either because  there was so much to tell in this story since there were so many great  characters, that it must have been difficult to pack everything in 20  episodes.

Jung Kyung Ho was fantastic in almost every aspect...  Yes, you heard right. "Almost." :P And this is probably only a personal  matter of taste. I'm not really a fan of those high pitched sounds when someone is crying. I mean... don't get me wrong, it totally fitted the  moment and showed an increased level of emotion necessary for that  scene, and it was definitely done splendidly by him. And maybe I'm only complaining about this tiny little thing, because I was looking for perfection after all that praise, but it still got me a little distracted. Though I wouldn't let this small matter affect my rating.

It was a great and very entertaining, moving  and captivating drama nonetheless, and it by all means deserves all the  praise it's getting.

This review may contain spoilers
One of my favorite dramas of all time. This is an emotional, cute and at times heartbreaking ride.
This review contains some spoilers

I've been following Kim So Hyun's works since I saw and loved her in Missing You. Really, she became one of my favorite korean actresses, everything about her is so natural and sincere, her acting really gets you on the character's skin and makes you laugh and cry whenever she does. One of the most promissing(if not the most) actresses out there. But the show doesn't resume on her acting, I also thought  Yook Sung Jae did an excelent job as the problematic yet quirky Tae Gwang. Seriously, he and So Hyun had such chemistry...(I'm still butthurt because they didn't end together)

Gushing aside, the story was also pretty well executed, with just some flaws and plot holes here and there. I know that this amnesia plot is extremely overused, but instead of just being used as a plot device, the amnesia is well developed and it even helps on the development of Eun Bi. Seriously, she goes from a girl who lost her courage, to someone who could impersonate her twin's attitude and then changed (again) to someone who could fend for herself and face her problems instead of running away.

The love triangle was also well executed, but poorly solved. *SPOILER* Really, I can't believe that they built such a relationship between Eun Bi and Tae Gwang, only for her to end up with the guy that spent basically the entire drama longing for her sister. I'm still pissed at this.

Another thing that could be promissing but ended up poorly executed was Eun Byl's character. Really, the girl was like no other I've seen in dramas (at least so far) and I surelly wanted to see more of her, and therefore more a development for her character. It was like a breath of fresh air when she finally showed up and gave the bully girl what she deserved. I was the entire time cheering: "You go girl!" Also, kudos for Kim So Hyun for managing to deliver two completely different characters.

Also, apart from romance and characters, I really liked the way this series handled issues like bullying. It was very saddening to see how much one is willing to hurt the other only because of their own internal struggles. Even though I didn't like the character one bit, I have to congratulate Jo Soo Hyang's job, because it was so well done that she made me really hate her but at the same time sort of understanding where she came from.

All in all, it was a very good drama. I openly recommend you to watch and fall in love with this coming of age story.

This is my first review so I hope it won't be too bad. I also am pretty late because I watched this drama almost 1 1/2 years after it aired but I still hope someone needs this review.
The story of UF is mind blowing in my opinion. And obviously it's an emotional rollercoast. If you aren't a fan of suffering during a drama and you don't like melodrama in general you definitely shouldn't watch this. Also, if you want a love story with fluff and some tears and lots of - well - love, that's not what UF is. It is a real story in my opinion everything about this story feels real. It's not a story in which a man falls in love with a woman and tries to do everything to be with her.
You get to see the main character played by Kim Woo Bin who describes himself as a jerk and a female lead played by Suzy who calls herself crazy. Both played their roles very good, the whole cast was amazing. I got annoyed by characters, I cheered for characters and I also hated some characters, which I think is important in any drama.
You already get to see what this drama will be about in the first episode and what continues frustrated me but also excited me, like I said before it was a rollercoast of emotions. Since I want to help people with their decision of wether to watch this drama or not I am going to be very honest: There was a point in the drama when I was so done I wanted to drop it. Not gonna lie. And I am so happy I didn't. Personally I liked the first half of the drama more, but the second half was also very amazing because I couldn't understand the main character for a long while until I realised that it should be this way. During this drama you should ask yourself is he out of his mind and the answer is yes he is but that's what made this drama so good. I had a constant love-hate-relationship with the main character and with the story but because of the ending I decided it was more of a love relationship.
To sum it up if you don't like a plot in which it doesn't go your way and in which you hope for the best outcome this drama isn't something for you. If you look for a drama that touches your heart and that makes you think about life and is realistic and not a beautiful love story then this drama is for you and you shouldn't be reading this but already watching the first episode.
I also want to say something about the AMAZING OST'S in this drama. The ost made everything perfect and I couldn't help but sing along while my eyes were in tears because they were just perfect. If I have to name the best thing about this drama it definitely is the music.
I hope this review was helpful. Have a lot of fun watching UF and some tissues near you because if you aren't a heartless person you'll definitely need them.
