Favorite BL series after Sotus, even though the main otp Waii Apo lack of screen time but their screen time had the best quality of chemistry. I can't move on from them yet. I need Earth and New in another series.

The story focus more im the friendship and other couples.

Min and Wan lack of chemistry, the story is a bit mess too.

Fah and Pan are more suitable being best friend.

I love Kluay and Achi, but their screen time is a pain.

For Put and Sang, they are bro but sometimes the jealousy looks like a couple. Lol.

I love this series!

I haven't watched many dramas in melodrama genre so I didn't have any expectations when I started watching it thus will not compare it to any other. I have really enjoyed watching it and it easily caught me and before I knew it last few episodes came around. I really recommend watching it, but i just couldn't give it perfect score cause few things were bothering me throughout the drama.

The beginning was a bit odd for me, it kinda seemed forced so, to be honest, I was in dilemma if i should continue watching it. It was hard to sympathize with some characters, especially MinHyuk, and that all bothered me. But I am so glad that I have continued cause after first two or three episodes drama really starts a new pace and becomes more than interesting, you could say addicting. That pace changes as the drama goes so sometimes some parts feel a bit slow and some a bit fast, but more often it's just right.

Every person has a reason for acting the way they are, even tho it's sometimes stupid or pitiful it's the best they know. You should have in mind that characters don't know everything that we know as watchers and that their judgement is limited to that. I like that drama is written that way, it engaged me into the story even more. Actors did an amazing job in portraying their characters and their development.

What I personally really liked about this drama is it's comedy relief. Because of the heavy story it was much needed and I would say it was very well done. If some of those characters were a bit more developed it would have been even better.

Music was also fantastic, very immersive, especially symphonic OSTs. It was well placed and it filled up the silence perfectly.

There is this other thing that i minded and that affected the overall score i gave it quite a bit, and if you are going to watch it, you may notice, or have noticed like I did if you have already completed it. The editing of some scenes feels a bit off. Some scenes are prolonged by adding shots one on top of the other from other angles and that made them feel awkward, or just very wrong at times, even tho i don't think that's the feeling that they were going for. That's the main reason why i couldn't give this drama 9 or more.

With all that being said I would just like to add once again that I've really enjoyed watching it, it has a good plot and I recommend it.

When I first started this drama I understood why people were dropping it like a hot potato and the rating it was getting as a drama. But, that was quite sometime ago and I hardly remember my feelings at the drama at first. I had watched the first four episodes and then put it on hold for 2 years. But, I picked it up again just recently, and watched episodes 5-12 in a couple of days marathoning for several hours every day for three days.

The modern story has less of a draw for me, I just found it mostly just the same as the other school kdramas out. But, the Joseon time period episodes in 5-9 were just what I wanted. I found that story intriguing and fun, plus, I felt like I could have watched 16-20 episodes of that story. The boys are best friends, and in the end it ended in a tragic love story with awesome bromance.

That is why this drama for me is really a mixed bag. I really loved some of it, and other parts were boring and tiresome, like for instance when all the kids at school were afraid of vampires. Especially, a hot hunk vampire who they had been gushing over how hot he was just a few days earlier. My response to a hot vampire dude would have been the same that those fangirls of his had near the end. He is just a hot dude who eats strange food and medicine, he is still a hunk.

The romance was not exactly lacking in this drama, but there could have been more romance for the vampire guy. All in all, I didn't hate it overall, but I would loved to see more of the Joseon time period episodes, and less school issues.

Usually, period dramas are a bit boring, especially when they exceed the 16 episodes barrier. However, this one, kept the interest high till the end. Sure, the mystery wasn't that good, as it was easy to figure out. But, the whole bad politics plot was entertaining, with lots of action scenes and very realistic costumes and settings. The performances were great, and probably that's the main reason why this one gets 8 out of 10 from me. The love story was okay, though, it got a bit tiring towards the end, plus, they didn't seem to have chemistry at first. But, it worked out eventually, so that helped with the love triangle as well. Overall, 8 out of 10.

I'm a fan of Aaron Yan. I really am but I'm not a fan of the characters he plays in these T-dramas, though he's very convincing. I don't like it when the male lead treats his love interest as a child rather than an equal, masking it as romance and in the name of love.
Anywho, I understand that these shows are formatted to be watched on a weekly basis (which makes binge watching them more difficult with numerous recaps) hence the butt load of flashbacks. However, I have to question the producers of this show, when the flashbacks dominate the series, seemingly for the female lead's benefit and not the viewers. It's as though the director felt that viewers needed their hands held week after week trying to recover from bouts of amnesia, not being able to recall episodes the week prior.
Joanne Tseng is beautiful but she should not have been cast as the romantic lead in this show. Her facial expressions seemed to convey more of a discomfort rather than a desire to be with Yan, robbing their scenes of the necessary chemistry to sustain my interest in their relationship.
I did enjoy the corporate drama and that it was easy to digest but the ending was predictable and therefore anticlimactic.
I'm in love with Lene Lai. I was team Elsa the entire time.
In addition, I watch all my Asian dramas on Netflix and just found out that they cut the black face scene in episode 12, which was very offensive. I learned about the black face scene on another website's review of the Refresh Man and I saw the actual scene on YouTube. Netflix should NOT be commended for not showing the scene because they still stream the series that produced it in the first place! ASSHOLES!!!!

Well, where do I start?

First things first. Should you or should you NOT watch this drama? Well, it depends. Are you ok with some pretty bad special effects and fake looking props? (Although there were moments they werent that bad) Can you handle a plot that is most of the times not realistic at all? (Ok, I get this is Fantasy, but still).

If not, this is NOT the drama for you.

If you want to watch it for the romance between the main leads, then I will still recommend it, as that was probably the ONLY reason I still watched this drama.

The romance between Ka Suo and Li Luo is pretty sweet and there are a lot of kiss scenes (and some hot ones too), but that is all mixed with a bunch of other ingredients that make the full story and it turns out to be kinda of a weird recipe. This is just my opinion. I believe that there are people out there who fully enjoyed this drama and watched all the episodes without skipping any parts. That was NOT the case for me. If there is one thing I did a lot was skipping. Skipping to what? Well, thats obvious. To the romantic scenes between the main leads.

If like me you are still going to watch this ONLY for the ROMANCE, then I recommend you to watch all the episodes while skipping the parts that you do not find interesting.

The romance starts in episode 3, if I remember correctly. And in almost all of the episodes till the end of episode 37 you will have plenty of romantic scenes. I personally skipped episodes 38-50 and only read the recaps so I wouldn’t completely miss everything that happened meanwhile, like new characters showing up and stuff like that. Why did I not even bother to watch all those episodes? Well, remember I was in this for the romance, and without spoiling it too much, lets say one of the main leads is going to pull a "sleeping beauty" through all of those episodes. If there is no interaction between the main leads in all those episodes and I was in this for the romance, why bother watching? Well, in episode 51 the "sleeping beauty" wakes up. I picked it up there and watched it till the end (since there were only 11 more episodes left anyway).

In the end of the day, if you like Fantasy a lot and can handle all the faults on this show (there were a lot in my opinion) watch everything. It will take a while, since it is 62 episodes but it will be worth. If like me, you only want to watch some sweet romantic scenes between the main leads and ignore all the bad acting and props, and pretty much everything else, then the key word is SKIP.

Chung Won, Woo Bo, Gon e Moo Ha

Goblin is definitely worth the watch as the story is very unique - I didn't think that I would enjoy it so much.
Despite the episodes being very long (which it didn't feel like), it really was enjoyable.
The low rewatch value is due to the fact that the episodes are 1hr and 30mins long, but this should not refrain you from watching it. I think it is a must-see.
I would rate the cast as 12/10... but you know it doesn't work like that.
It was really fun to recognise the references made about actual kdrama actors and even some kpop groups ^_^

Nice story. Have not found a korea movie to make me cry much aside from Miracle in cell no 7, maybe becuase Koreans are really better in a longer plot, so this short drama a little longer than a movie moves me. I watched it only becuase of KSH but I've enjoyed it from the beginning shed couple of tears. Main leads all did Great acting. Highly recommended.

The drama started off well it gets little draggy in middle but come on which drama doesn't it has a normal plot but the twists and turns are really amazing. The ending is just perfect

Really a lovable drama with lovable cast. The journey comes to an end. Woah! What an incredible journey. If you are up for story then it may keep you glued to the screen or may not. Cause this drama has mixed viewers. The ending was amazing with every character giving you space for open analysis. These are like real life characters. Nobody is perfect, nobody is strong all the time, sometimes love loses in front of circumstances but in the end find their way. The amazing chemistry between NJH and JCW is really a huge factor why this drama has been loved they did more than justice. No other couple can really make me fall for them like jibong.

So if you are here for the reviews ignore the hate comment and go and see it for yourself.

This drama gifted me my new favorite korean actress. Nam ji hyun. What an incredible showcase of emotions she can convey. The ending-she caught me off guard. I cried only when she cried. She deserves super appreciation!

And of course ji chang wook you will always be my bae I love you more after this drama

I may be wrong but I have noticed one thing Koreans have loved this drama when I see the comments on korean and other digital platforms koreans have always been supportive most of the negative comments about the drama have been made by immmature fangirls and jcws previous costar fans or shippers
This drama is definitely a must watch

The story was bittersweet and had a peculiar take to it, but it was a tad predictable. I had a idea of what was going to happen - not to my surprise, it did happen. Although it had a calm vibe, I found it rather dragging and dull during the exposition (prior to the rising action). During the first 55 minutes of the film, I ended up pausing it twice because I was already falling asleep. Some parts of the story were not explained, like how their atypical communication came to be.

The acting on the male lead was more exceptional than the female. Although I like the female actress, a number of scenes of her were rather bothersome.

Of all aspects of the movie, I enjoyed the music. It really added to the calm factor of the movie. It soothed my ears as I watched the film. I also ended up "Shazaming" the music in hopes I could find the song title.

Maybe if I watched this in a theatre when the movie just came out 11 years ago, I would prolly enjoy it more.

I was sold on the first season instantly, that's why it is really hard to think that season 2 was a continuation of the first season. To begin with, the story line was scattered it lacked direction, you're getting all this material that really does not make sense or add to the story being told. talking about cast although some have improved on their acting and embraced their role in the series, others did not "you're trying to sell me love between two individuals while their body language is saying something else, it's not enough anymore to just show a scene with them awkwardly cuddling and expect that that is going to relate love in any way". If the characters are uncomfortable with the role, why cast them or why bring clashing personalities to play one of the main couples in the show. if they were well-seasoned actors the chemistry and dynamics of the characters may have been different. although I feel the second season was a letdown, a lot was improved on compared to the last season, like I already mentioned some of the acting, better lighting, the editing was spot on etc ......

This movie gives a hard look into what life can be like as a gay male living in South Korea. It doesn't paint the world in sparkles and make everything look perfect and pretty. It depicts the harsh truth that people are awful, they do terrible things to innocent people, and no one stops them.
It's very emotional, and left me very emotional during and after the movie ended. I won't spoil anything, but the ending isn't extremely sad like lots of BL movies tend to be. It's definitely worth watching, I highly recommend it.

I just finished this movie and my response is this: "I.... what?" The last 20 minutes are like you are watching a completely different movie, which happens to also be a student amateur film. I don't even know how to rate this. Do I rate it for the first 1.5hrs, or do I rate it for the last half hour? I honestly don't even know at this point...
