My Shy Boss (aka Introverted Boss). I just finished this drama and found it utterly charming. It stars Yeon Woo Jin as Eun Hwan Ki, the CEO of a PR firm who suffers from crippling social anxiety. Park Hye Soo plays Chae Ro Woon, the irrepressibly outgoing young woman who ends up falling in love with him. The story struggles a little bit to find its footing in the early part of the series, especially as Chae Ro Woon pursues a revenge plot and spends some time doing things that will make you go 'who /does/ that?!?' but that resolved itself pretty quickly. The crux of this story is all about lack of communication and miscommunication. There are some fairly tragic outcomes due to people's inability to communication their feelings. Even with those, the show itself manages to keep a pretty upbeat feeling and wraps up adorably.

This is one of the first kdramas I've watched and it remais one of my favorites. I think I've rewatched it at least 3 times.

It's a romantic comedy with wonderful characters. You won't find the typical cliche antagonists here, all characters are sane human beings, there is no crazy plot, nor endless suffering before the happy ending. Yes, there is angst, but life isn't always happy anyway.

Kim Sam Soon is a strong female protagonist. She's sensitive but doesn't let anyone trample her. She doesn't hide her feelings, she's true to herself, she's funny... I wish she could be my friend.

Sam Shik (Hyun Bin's character's nickname) is the arrogant chaebol we are used to seeing in kdramas, but as we keep watching he grows and changes thanks to Sam Soon.

All the supporting characters are nice and we care about them too. Even the "evil" chaebol's mother and her secretary aren't evil at all, but so funny.

It's still a refreshing series even after 12 years have passed since its release, definitely worth watching if you haven't.

My first Thai drama and it was FANTASTIC! Personally, I think the acting really made the difference for me. The chemistry between the leading couple (Mark Prin and Yaya) was off the charts! Yaya was great at the emotional scenes, not just the crying but the ability to really project the emotions. It was captivating. As for Mark Prin, he is great at the subtle facial expressions. The attention is in the details and he nailed the subtle emotions each time. As a viewer you definitely get more invested in the characters and the story if the actors are able to elevate the story and the depth of the characters. They both did it for me. The story itself could be deemed somewhat cliched but what made it was the nuanced attention by the actors and the director. The conflicts, the emotional complications, the internal struggles all seemed very realistic and understandable. Each episode wasn't drawn out without reason, each had a purpose for adding to the layers of emotional complexity and the turmoil the characters were feeling. I LOVED it. I usually watch K-Dramas and Taiwanese or Chinese dramas but I have to say, this drama really impressed me and blew my perception of Thai dramas out of the water. I will be watching a lot more Thai dramas and now, I'm a huge Yaya and Mark Prin fan! Oh yes, a shout out to P'Suki - Jee's gay manager in the drama. He is arguably the best gay side kick I've seen in any drama! AWESOME!!!

This is the first drama I have been able to watch all the way through with Eric Mun. Don't get me wrong, I love him to bits. I think he is gorgeous. But I don't usually like melodramas, and this one almost went that route too. But the story kept up the humor too, so I stayed through til the end, and I am so glad I did! The story was wacky and cute. The OST was perfect. I am even listening to it again as I write this.
Most importantly, the reason I watched this drama. The kisses....were...ahmahzing. Like. WHOA. Now I am going to have to rethink all of my favorite K drama kisses. Totally worth the wait on this one guys. The skinship too, was pretty great. I liked this drama a lot and will be reviewing more about it soon on my blog, I am sure.

Great show! Would be a 9 if the ending wasn't so forced and stupid. One of the best old dramas out that I have seen. Really the main 2 actors and the parents made this show. The other actors were average tbh. Great chimstrry and just an enjoyable show that doesn't really ever feel boring. Its pretty lighthearted but touches on some serious topics. Truly a classic especially for a taiwanese drama. Definitely worth a watch but I wouldn't take it 2 serious.

This review may contain spoilers
caution!! do not read my review if you don't like spoiler. I know that it's prohibited to write spoiler, but i love spoiler so much that i think i still have to write it here, especially for this amazing drama.

Once i finished this drama, i know that i wouldn't get another amazing drama like this for maybe next one year or two. This is like once in a year amazing drama, such a masterpiece!! The cast, the story it's just amazing.. I've only watched it subbed until ep 50 and ep 51-58 i have to watch it raw, but really i can't wait till it's sub and will just rewatch it. The chemistry between the main couple is so amazing. The scenery was breathtaking and the story is wonderful. I know it has so many episodes and that is the only reason for me to not rewatch this drama. But i've rewatched it a few times already (of course not the whole 1-58 episodes; but only a few scenes that i like) and that means this drama still have a high rewatch value.

This is a sad drama with a happy ending. It's sad yet beautiful. And the ost is just sad yet wonderful. Combine all the story, the cast, the song, the scenery, the chemistry... this drama become a complete beautiful package that i'll always remember. There is no other words to describe this drama other that amazing. I know i've written word 'amazing' for many times already, but that's just because it is a perfect one word to describe this drama. I can't wait to watch the movie.

So here's the quick story

1st lifetime:
Siyin and egg lotus
In this lifetime yehua (our male main lead) wasn't born yet and just in a form of lotus spirit. Siyin who is actually Baiqian go to kunlun mountain and disguise as a boy so that she can be a student of Moyuan. In the battle of ghost tribe and celestial tribe moyuan died and yehua born as the celestial crown prince

2nd lifetime:
Yehua and susu
70.000 years later Baiqian to reseal the ghost king become a mortal and forget who she was. It is the time when she first met Yehua and fell in love. They married in a mortal realm and have a son. Unfortunately, their happy life not go on for long as Sujin (yehua's consort) know about it and brought susu to celestial kingdom. In there, yehua had to pretend not to like susu so that susu can be saved. But Susu didn't realize about that and suffered so much. Because of that Susu left Yehua and their son.

3rd lifetime:
Yehua and Baiqian
in this lifetime Baiqian back to become Susu and chose to forget about her life as Susu. So she drank the potion from Zheyan to forget about that part of her life. She eventually forget, but Yehua wasn't. The first time they met, Yehua knew that She was his Susu. Although for a little while he doubted it, but eventually he was sure and never doubted again that Baiqian was Susu. So he pursued Baiqian. There was just so many sadness in his pursuit. We could see how much he love Baiqian but Baiqian just wouldn't realize it. Really, the chemistry was overflowing.

Thankfully after all that sadness, we have a truly happy ending. Not like another chinese drama. These days it's really hard to get a wonderful chinese drama (especially wuxia or xianxia) with a happy ending. And i really satisfied with this drama. Favourite!!

I discovered this drama quite by accident, but when I started watching it I couldn't stop. This drama is definitely a must watch for all romance drama lovers. This drama had a similar feel to the American movie "Children of a Lesser God." In Aishiteiru there was no vile or evil nemesis instead the show concentrated on developing the main characters love story. The intensity of the emotions and chemistry between the main leads was not lost with the use of sign language in fact the use of sign language helped to amplify the realness and rawness of the characters' emotions. I also loved how the beginning and the end segments complemented each other as two halves forming a whole and coming full circle. This drama showed that healing is possible after a broken heart and yes it is possible to love the same person twice.

I really enjoyed the female lead who showed the diversity of her acting skills in this role. The development of the main characters as it relates to the removial of their layers of complexities in order to heal, grow and love was also poignant. If you're looking for a heart warming love story with some difficult life issues then this is the drama for you.

The story had potential but it was fully taken advantage of, even though this is a short drama with episode s being around 20 mins long the way they developed the story made it lack places and made it kind of redundant after a bit with the whole back and forth between the main characters. Also, the whole Chinese/Korean language thing threw me off? at first since it is my first time watching a cross language drama but after a while you kind of get used to it, either that or you get annoyed by it.

If you are looking for a short drama to experiment with because you've got nothing else you would rather watch at the moment then go for it. It wasn't a bad drama but it wasn't the greatest one either, all in it's watchable. It has funny moments, some slightly sad or rather emotional ones and some awkward moments but it's not totally shabby.

The music was very repetitive and I didn't really care much for it for some reason so I don't really remember it. If it doesn't stick, I won't remember it.

The ending fell kind of short to my expectations and it left quite a bit unsaid, I wish the ending would have been wrapped up nicer.

Overall it's an ok watch and I don't regret watching it but I wouldn't necessarily re-watch it.

This is a really, really lovely drama.

The story is classic and cute. A simple poor girl meets a Rich man, and the poor girl gets pregnant and they have to get married. It's a bit cliche, but it's played out really well. The actors have amazing chemistry, and if you can get passed the... eccentric personality of Gun in the first few episodes, you'll love this drama, (and you'll smile every time you hear that laugh).

The music in the drama is also really good, I enjoy listening to the main songs outside of just when I'm watching the show.

Overall, I think this is a really good drama. Drama it definitely is, in the middle, it's full of angst but has an overall happy ending that makes it all worth it in the end. If you like romance and enjoy comedy and drama (Who doesn't?) You'll enjoy this.

This show is sooo underrated. IMHO this is one of the best dramas I have ever seen. Great story, great direction, great acting, everything is great. The episodes are short, makes it an easy watch for me. This is a "must see drama" for those who love crime and mystery thriller. Hoping for a part 2

I'm not used to writing reviews but since this landed on my favorite lists, thought what I have initially written deserves an edit.

Why am I sooo in love with this drama????

1. I love how the story was presented in such a way that it stimulates thinking and imagination. Each episode keeps me on my toes and are full of surprises.
2. Unlike other dramas that has a lot of repetitive scenes obviously to make the story longer, all the flashback scenes in this drama are necessary and important piece of the puzzle
3. I love how each episode are presented in such way that there seems to be an end like the Kdrama "Signal" but are still bits and pieces of a big puzzle. Well written indeed
4. The drama is not cheaply done, I am treated to a movie-like production with great acting, direction and cinematography
5. Lastly love how the drama ends makes me crave for a part 2

This is one of the best Kdramas of 2016. A good mix of reality and fantasy. Though the episodes seems interwoven, there a bits and pieces of stories within the whole story. Love how the writer was able to connect these to the main plot. The actors were all great especially Cho Jin Woong, a well deserved win of Daesang Award for this drama.... He was soooo great in the "movie" scene, he really made me cry. Highly recommended.
