The plot makes no sense. A rich guy finds his 3 dead son's sons and forces them to live in a fancy home together, even though they don't get along. His solution is to hire a weird poor girl to move in and trick them into getting along, just as long as she doesn't date them? What???!!! Obviously the premise is just a set up to put her in close proximity with 3 cute guys (4 if you count the hot secretary), and honestly I was willing to forgive the implausibility of it all just to watch that often repeated k-drama dynamic of "which cute guy do I choose?"- but unfortunately the show dared to introduce another female lead which literally killed any joy I found watching the show. Once they tried to force feed that story into the plot, the show lost it's charm, and that brought my attention to how dumb the rest of the plot really was. Oh, and the flashbacks... waaaaaaay too many flashbacks filling up the time. Each flashback seemed to say "remember that part that you liked" as a way to distract from how bad the current story was.
As for the cast, it took me a while to warm up to Park So Dam as Ha Won. She bored me at first, the same way she initially bored me in Beautiful Mind, but eventually I started to root for her. She's quirky, and kinda naive, yet outspoken, and honest. She was definitely giving me Jan Di from BoF flashbacks. She is matched with the 3 leads, and had cute chemistry with each of them. Playboy Hyun Min had great second lead potential in the beginning. I liked many of their early scenes together. Seo Woo is super sweet, and a cute match to watch throughout the show, although they spend less time together as the show progresses. Then of course there's Jung Il Woo as Ji Woon... the reason I kept watching. He has great charisma, and his smirk won me over early on. There were moments where he and Park So Dam looked like they really could be dating, that's how cute they were together. That's also what tricked me into sticking with this show... every time I was about to quit watching they would have a moment that sucked me back in. I should also mention the cute secretary (I guess he's prince #4) who's character, and storyline, seemed like an afterthought, but I really liked him a lot (I personally would have chosen him).
So if most of the main cast was pretty good, why such a low score? The answer is Son Na Eun as Hye Ji. She is not just bad, she is a ruiner of scenes. Not only is her character terribly written... they try to make you empathize with a crazy ex who can't let go, and it did not work for me... She is also just not a great actress at all. Her expressions were bland, her emotions felt fake (tears of the crocodile variety), and I'm not an A Pink fangirl so I don't get her appeal. I felt like groaning every time she was on screen, which was more and more as the show progressed. She ruined any love I had for the show, and by the end her scenes became moments to take bathroom breaks, or check messages or my email... I wish the show was half as long and omitted her entire storyline (which also made no sense, but I won't spoil it). A good rival should add to the plot, not make you want to never watch again. Grandpa CEO was also a terrible character, and frustrating to watch, but his acting wasn't terrible so it worked. Other parents were equally annoying, but still not as bad as Na Eun (and had much less screen time). The only character who annoyed me as much is Ja Yeong, the BFF of Ha Won. I guess I was supposed to find her creepy fangirl personality cute, but she annoyed me. The forced romance implications were also not working for me. Ahh, forced romance... that brings me to the end... ugh!
I honestly wanted to see how it would all be resolved, but the ending felt so forced, and overly romantic, that I would have rather had a tragic sappy ending where everyone died. The ending scene was so incredibly cheesy that I couldn't take it. The only thing I liked was the surprise (totally predictable) backstory between Ji Woon and Ha Won, that I wish was the main focus of the show in the first place. Of course they add unnecessary drama to the final moments too, but there are no surprises, so I don't recommend forcing yourself to stick it out to the end.
The soundtrack is not my favorite, but it's the best part of the show after the main kissing scenes.
Would I watch this again? Never. I'm still wondering why I didn't stop watching weeks ago!
Overall this show is bad... really bad, in spite the cute moments that I wish could be pieced together to form it's own mini show. If you start it, you will probably be tempted to keep watching, but let me assure you that once it starts going down hill it will only get worse. Just watch youtube clips of the best scenes from the show, and don't bother trying to make sense of the messy storyline, or care who the characters are... clearly the writer didn't care either. I can't believe this is based on a book, and I wonder how much this show misses the mark.
I wish I could go back in time and drop this drama. If you're wondering if it's better to watch and drop, or to never watch at all, I would say both choices are better than forcing yourself to watch the whole thing. I give the show a 4 - one point for each of the 4 prince cuties interactioning with the lead. That's basically all the show has to offer, and that's not enough to fill 16 episodes. With soooo many cinderella themed k-dramas out there, this literal one is the one you should miss.

I haven't watch this series yet. Chanlathorn is actually my friend's cousin so I really want to watch and support their series. I've heard that it was a good BL series. Looking forward to watch this! NO SPOILERS PLEASE HAHA :D Was this review helpful to you?
Story: In the beginning the story was GREAT. It kept me going but then the major plot twist came and I was shocked by how big the plot twist was. However, they did not answer a lot of questions and left huge plot holes.... NOT good! I get that everything was in her mind but what about Xiao Xi? Did she really exist? Did Song Qi have a best friend? What about the police officer she talked with?? And the girl who looked like Xiao Xi? What about the the cousin of the alleged Xiao Xi who gave Song Qi the key because she recognized Song Qi as her best friend? What's going on?! I don't know !!! The ending was nice though since Song Qi ended up with Liu Dong and there was no longer pain for her... Speaking of that, what's up with the white hair?
Acting/Cast: 10/10 anyday. anytime. I have never watch Fan Bing Bing act after Princess Pearl and I have never liked her tbh but WOW. Her acting skills are by far the best from all of the Chinese actresses I have seen! No wonder she is famous! And not to say, she's gotten very beautiful. In 1998, she wasn't very pretty hmm.. anyways, great acting!
Music: creepy af music lolz
Rewatch Value: I don't mess with that psychological stuff.
Overall: I recommend it because I did finish it and did like it A LOT in the beginning. The plot twist was okay to me BUT THEY DIDNT ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS AND LEFT SO MANY PLOT HOLES so yeah.

With perfect acting, most beautiful scenery and one of the best piano OSTs this drama is one the best I've seen through the years. While I was messing around on drama streaming sites searching through tags, I choose (animals) tag and this had a good rating so I watching first episode, then onto the second and I finished 10 in less that 16 hours. Next thing you know I'm a crying shampoo full of tears.
The story about a man who tries to give Japan after the Second World War some hope, by going to Antarctica, the government and everyone laughed at him, but he managed to assemble the crew and go to Antarctica , kimura always dreamed of going there just like his father did, the first episode was 2 hours while the starting was slow for me because I didn't know anything about this movie but once the boys gathered and found the cute huskies to follow them I was all excited. It was inspirational what the crew went through, but due to bad weather they had to abandon the dogs in Antarctica leaving them for what can be sure death ( cried a lot ).
This drama is not only about the HUMAN crew but the loyalty first coming from dogs and then the boys returned their love back and it had a lot of comrade sense.
The drama covered beautifully how Japan was not all about war but there are good people who wanted to give people some hope, achieve the impossible back then.
Keep an eye on takuya and masato, hands down of the best performances I've seen.
10/10 for epic journey adventure and love (shampoo approve)

Okay so as said the story is pretty cliche-ish, nothing extraordinary about it, but, the things, that occured, ehm was not that good, I'm not a fan of it (can't spoil!) I think it's just a matter of moral and ethics but it happens a lot tho! It was a bit draggy here and there, long dialogues, same thing repeated many times. There were small plot twists something like "Oh that's it?" And "whaaat whyyy", but nothing wow.
Acting was good, especially Yuka, so good that I really hated her hahah. There were no character development at all, only Yuka changed here and there lolol. The music was okay, I only recall that one song that was played in every episode, ugh I got really tired of it. Rewatch? Nuh-uh! Never. I feel like I wasted my time in this, but it's a matter of personal preference, I don't like this kind of drama.
So if you like an 'adult-matters' story with SUPER complicated relationships and accessories, then you might like this.
*whispers I don't recommend it*

even it is hard to watch all those cringe scene and script but i manage to pull through this drama solely for park so dam and jung il woo.. i always love their drama..
the character was meehhh~~ but i did jump like 6 y/o when those cute scene between ha won and ji won.. the hardest character that i was forced to accept was hyeji, my god~~!!!! the development of the character was shit!!! i'm wondering what are the writers thinking during the development of the character.. it's like the writer are so diligent in the 1st halve of the drama and gettin lazy by the end of it~~
well, the most character that i like is *drum rolls* YOONSUNGie~~~~ why?? because he just too gorgeous when he smile.. not to mention, among 4 of them, he is the truest knight (for me) XD

Bring it on, Ghost started out really strong. It by no means was perfect or original, but it almost felt like it. There was something really refreshing about this kind of a ghost story. A human and a ghost fall in love?! I am in! I really enjoyed the fact that the romance was cute but that wasn't all this drama had to offer, the comedy and supernatural action were there too. Writers never seem to manage to blend this kind of combination together well but in this case they did a really good job. So what we got was a story about our two main characters each day facing a new excorcism case while the romance and the main mystery slowly progresses. Honestly I haven't enjoyed a show this much in a while.
And the characters/cast played a big role in it too. While yes the characters were pretty two dimensional, it didn't bother me at all, because the story wasn't complicated either. Our main male lead is pretty generic, but more realistic. He had reasons for being a little bit cold, but he didn't seem like a total jerk like some main male leads like to come of as at first. Watching him falling in love was joyful. And his acting was amazing, of course, have no complains here.
Now Kim So Hyun here deserves a round of applause for her acting. Between her and the male lead was a 10 year old difference but I never felt that, she held her ground like an acting veteran. Just incredible. Her character to was pretty generic - a sassy high school student. But I really liked the fact that she was just plainly badass at fighting and a strong woman in general.
Oh don't even get me started on our comedy duo (Lee David and Kang Ki Young). Loved them to bits. The two of them were like a finishing touch that binded everything together. Without them the drama wouldn't be the same. Every moment with them was so funny. Their bromance was a delight.
Kwon Yool portraied his role well, can't really elaborate much, because I don't want to spoil things But lets just say that when we actually got to a point where character development was presented for Joo Hye Sung it was rushed and thrown at us just like to get it out of the way.
Myung Chul was...meh, he was only there as a toll for the story to progress and while I didn't totaly had no feelings towards him, I didnt get attached or cared about him a lot either. But the Kim Sang Ho himself is amazing, I have seen him in a few dramas and he always portrais his roles really well.
Summa summarum - a really good show. I never like dramas this much if they are just decent, because I am very sensitive to flaws. But I enjoyed it a lot, even though I saw the flaws, in the end the enjoyment is all that matters.
But then the writers decided to throw at us a plot twist. I am not going to spoil it but I am just going to say If you all were to make a "cliches in Korean dramas I hate" list, 80% or maybe more would put that plot twist in theirs.
The plot twist was executed in order for the plot to progress but a) it was freaking annoying ( took me an episode to realise that) b) the whole structure that made the drama so good fell apart.
From the 13th episode it felt like I was watching a whole new drama. Both main leads, especially Hyun Ji lost what I liked about them - strenght, in a way they became different people. I hate the fact that for a hundreth time they portray the female lead as a baddas woman but in the end leave her crying for help. And sure according to the story, that is how it was supposed to go, but I didn't like how the main story revealed itself either. The episodes were streched but the important moments were rushed. The answers were not satisfing, it felt like that momment when you ask someone to explain themselves and they just say "well...because". The answers raised more questions that they answered and left huge plot holes. On top of that the reveal was just plainly boring, they were building the suspense for so long and in the end it turned out to be a huge let down. And the fact that the writers left the characters two dimensional took it's tool. The situations that were happening required the characters to have deep psychological portraits for me to care about what was going on but again in the end I felt heartless, because the characters that I seemed to have come to love were annoying, their tears were annoying, because the writers got me invested in the story and not in the characteters so when they took away the story that I adored I was left with a bunch of characters that I cared so little about so unfortunately my love turned to hate really quickly. And the last cliff hanger was so badly placed, it felt like the writers knew that they f'ed up so they desperately tried to keep our attention. The only good thing after the 13th episode was that despite everything they managed to wrap up everyting pretty nicely.
I have never hated and loved a drama so much all at the same time. This drama crossed my mind multiple times a day wether I loved it or hated it out of dissapointment. Normally a drama has potential to be good only in its premise, but Bring it on, Ghost had potential to be one of the greates drama's (at least for me) and kept it for whole 13 episodes, but it still failed and I have never been so sad and angry at a drama.
Honestly I don't know what rating to give to this drama, beacuse the hight of this drama hit the clouds and the low dropped into a dark abyss. I always wait at least a day before I rate a drama because the score might be biased while the emotions the story left me are still fresh and I can't look at it rationally (yes I take this way to seriously). More than a week has passed and I still don't know what rating to give it. (But writing a review forces me to do it >.

99 years of love (Japanese-Americans) is a story about a man who migrated long ago to the land of opportunities and peace and love (America) where he finds love and a steady job, everyone's dream.
There you see the bigotry and injustice he faces in a land not his own BEFORE the world war 2 and as soon as the war starts, the Japanese Americans are sent to isolation camps (dark part of American history that no one even talks about for some reason).
A good educational drama with a lot of heart, but still makes you feel very uneasy, how Americans of Japanese descents were treated, before the war it was not good, but after the war started it became pure oppression, this drama is an eye opener on this subject.
Cons: the story is told only from the Japanese people point of view, I would have liked more on the Americans point of view. I wouldn't say this drama is epic or perfect but it's damnnnn good.
This is one of the family human dramas that have to be seen by many people.
Shampoo gives 8.8/10

However, one thing that definitely was atypical, was the fantastic score and soundtrack.
I would actually even recommend you watch this film just for the music.
Which is also why the rewatch value is a little high.
The acting was solid, no complaints there.
But oh boy the music.
Please go and watch it even if it's just for the music.

The movie has scenes confusedly cut on purpose, so that the viewer may better relate to the heroine's gradual loss of reality. And yet, as it was already mentioned, the rational signs and clues to the plot are given to us all the time during the film. While I managed to figure out a part of the story unfolding, I found it very pleasing that the end gave us a full explanation for everything that was happening throughout the movie.
Only a few elements were dull (as an example, the way the ghosts were portrayed). However, that shouldn't dissuade anyone from watching this haunting, but beautiful story.
