This drama is cute, light, funny, sweet and everything you need in your hectic life.

STORY: No devil incarnate mother in law. No stupid female lead. No unnecessary melodramatic scenes. No prolonged misunderstanding. Can it be any better? Go figure!

Well, the online game theme is a big bonus to avid MMORPG players like me. The colorful costumes, amazing graphics and nerdy gaming terms brought back the memories of my old self playing online games while I slept, ate and studied on front my computer. I must say that the whole production nailed it!

Acting/Cast: I will set aside the fact that Yang Yang is a total eyecandy and will give an honest and fair review. Overall, everyone gave a decent performance but what bothers me is the expressions of the female actors (minor roles included) which are a little too animated for my liking. More often than not, I am distracted by their too animated expressions or big movements. MY personal favorite though are Hao Mei and KO (and their budding bromance). The three thinkers or whatever you call them are super funny that I always find myself on the floor laughing out loud.

Music: Love the music! I've been humming this unconsciously for several days :D

Rewatch Value: After a week I still feel the same about this drama. The feels have not worn off yet despite teh dramas I have watched after this. So yes, I am going to rewatch those cheesy lovely romance scenes.

I watched All About My Romance at the urging of a friend. I have to say that it was a slow starter for me because the political stuff was just not my thing. However, the leads themselves won me over immediately and were my reason to continue on. Although it took a bit to get me involved storywise, I feel like it was a worthwhile and enjoyable watch.

Shin Ha Kyun as Kim Soo Young was a treat to watch, and this was my first time seeing him act. He has a winning smile and nice eyes - but he looked so much cuter and age appropriate for Lee Min Jung as Noh Min Young once he got his new look just over halfway through the drama. It took years off his looks and upped his attractiveness quite a bit! :) Lee Min Jung was great as always. I believe that little sneer she does must be a real thing and not totally an act because she used it quite a bit in Cunning Single Lady as well. She is one of my few favorite Korean actresses. The two together created some good chemistry, and they had lots of cute couple moments.

My only critiques (besides the politics - which really aren't bad if you are into that sort of story) would have been that I didn't like some of the "cartoon" music that was played. (But the main theme song was very pretty and I enjoyed it a lot. Wish they had had more music like that.) I think that was supposed to add something comedic, but it sort of seemed cheesy to me. The second is that I would have liked a better ending for the show. The ending was good, but I think it could have been better. And lastly, the second female lead was kind of pushy and annoying after a while. I thought she was cute at first, but her doggedness began to wear. Thankfully, she never descended into a true villain, though.

Overall, this is a very cute and fluffy comedic romance. I don't feel it gets too sappy or sad, and the leads were a joy to watch. Although, I probably will not rewatch this, I did enjoy it and am not sorry I stuck with it and got to see the romance bloom with Soo Young and Min Young. :)

By chance I saw this on YouTube and thought to give it a try. I pulled an all-nighter (since it was Friday night anyway). From the moment I watched it, I was hooked. Ady and Vanness had great chemistry. I loved the way they were together. It was so sweet. this is the first time I watched a show w Vanness and I thought his acting skills were superb. I loved all the emotions from him. Ady was great too. She loved so much and had to sacrifice in the name of love. The little boy was awesome. He was so adorable. Chris Wu is incredible as well. I wanted him to find love. Everyone in this show was great. I cried buckets with this show. I was on roller coaster ride. One moment I'm so happy and the next, my tears would just stream down my face. Almost every time Ady cried, I cried. I can go on and on. I think this has got to be one of the best show I've watched and has me thinking about it even after I finished (in less than a week).
Music was good, even though I don't understand it. I would watch this again.

I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

At first I was unsure about this drama, but as I kept on watching I began to like it. I gave it a 7.5 because it wasn't the best show, but at the same time I'm not gonna lie it was pretty good and very entertaining.
Now let's get what's wrong with this show for starters the acting could of been better, there were certain moments that were head scratching, some of the things the characters said and did were just WHY?! and I felt like the show could of been handled better.
Enough about the cons let's talk about what this show does right. I've seen all sorts of shows and movies from all over the world that end up trying to brush up on the topic of teen pregnancy and some of those shows don't really get to the nitty gritty, they just brush over the topic like it's nothing or it feels like their trying to encourage it. With 14-sai No Haha, it discusses how teen pregnancy is a BIG thing, how it doesn't just effect the teens involved it effects the people around them, it shows the judgement young teen moms, teen dads and their families get, how having a mom at such a young age could lead to not just social risks but health ones as well, and how no matter what you say or do a child born by a teen mom is still a child born by a teen mom.
I also liked how unlike some of these dramas, animes, mangas I see/read the guy (Kirino Satoshi played by Miura Haruma) wasn't your stereotypical douche bag with a nasty attitude that's cold and mean to the main girl. I also liked how him and the main character actually knew each other for more than just a few days before deciding that they are soo in love and to get so close. You could feel the chemistry between the two of them. It's refreshing to see a girl not obsessing over a jerk for once and seeing a couple getting to know each other first.
Another things that really makes this show good is how it shows that ANYONE even good kids can end up like this! It doesn't matter what kind of home a teen is being raised in, if a teen has both parents or not, how good of a family that's raising them is, it doesn't matter if they go to an all gendered school they can somehow get pregnant or get someone pregnant, and even the nicest and most studious teens can end up in this situation.
I admit it's not perfect, but it's worth checking out. Sure there were times where I was kind of confused by the characters but there were moments when I was moved by the characters and was in tears. Campared to most shows and movies that try to tackle this subject this felt more real to me. It was a pretty good show but it could of been handled better and it feels like something is missing, I just don't know what.

Just as a note, I never write reviews, but this movie touched my feelings so much that I feel like I should share why I think everyone should watch this film.

I don't think I disliked anything about this movie. It made me realise certain things, that you don't get anywhere if you don't try your hardest. I've always been someone who doesn't try their best, and I've always done the minimum possible when it comes to studying, that's why whilst watching this I could picture myself in a similar situation.

The story is in itself like a lesson everyone should learn, and I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of this movie. I don't know how much I can say without spoiling anything. Basically if you think this movie is all about laughs and a straight road to success, you've got it so wrong. It's so much more than that on many levels, it shows you the life of a student which never tried at school. It shows you the hardships of studying, hardships of life itself. Everything from the brothers story to the family problems was what made the story even more worth watching. Don't expect to watch this without shedding a tear or two, because I did, and I never cry with movies to be honest. It might have been because I'm probably too emotional at the moment since I'm going through a hard patch myself.

The acting was on point. I literally felt everything from all characters, I felt like I was being sucked into their world and right on the spot, all the tears whether of sadness or joy were there. I related to some at times with hard choices to make concerning friendships and school.

If I were to summarise this into three words I would probably just say: Watch this movie
You won't regret it, you'll probably think about it for a while after its finished, you might find some motivation in it to do something you've always wanted to do because that's what this movie has done to me, taught me to never give up.

This movie is not for everyone, you either are okay with the movie or dislike it.
The story is about work pressure, and since I am from the EU (where the work pressure is quite low) I found this movie interesting. The story is slow paced, but shows from every person a back story and you can possibly relate to them. Sadly the execution was a bit messy, there were a few flaws and real movie mistakes. That said, I could feel the suspension throughout the movie.
The actors all did a very well job, I wish some had more time to develop their character.
I didn't found the music pleasing at all times, and I don't think I would rewatch this movie.

Watch this if you like suspense / mysterie movies.
Skip this if you want a clear answer at the end of a movie.

Johan shuttai! Is a Jdrama about how mangas are done and the process between the mangaka and editors, salesman, designers, distributors and basically the entire squad.
The drama is told mostly from our female lead point of view, korusawa kokoro who will hit you in the kokoro. She was a good athlete (judo) and her aim was to be part of the Olympic after suffering an injury she finds a new place in a manga editing company, odagiri joe plays her senior at work (sunbae, senpai, shesho, tensho) and followed by one of the best side characters that I've seen in my life.
The story follows the team mates and newbie mangaka wannabes into becoming mature and reaching mutual goals together, with hardly any lame moments this one was a beautiful ride.
Usually I watch a whole 11 episode jdrama in 2 days but I watched this slowly and rewatched many parts because I didn't want to finish it too soon.
The main goal of the team and kokoro is to get a Johan shuttai meaning a second printing on their mangas. Highly recommended for good drama lovers
9.2/10 from Johnson shampoo family.

okay so i'm not quite a dedicated viewer of Chinese dramas. i just watched a a few of them and they were not bad.

this drama can easily be described in just a few words.. nice, warm, cozy, romantic, light hearted, cheerful.
note my words "easily be described in a few words" this implies there's not much you can expect.. there are hurdles but are easily overcome..love triangles but easily broken..this is what you say an easy light hearted romance..
the gaming part didn't interest me at all...i found it a bit boring and just skipped through them..

the male lead is fantastic.. his acting is good.. and not to mention his looks.. he is someone you would just spend the whole episode looking at..
the female lead didn't impress me much..she is really pretty and her character was cheerful..and these may be the only things to her credit..i felt that her acting was not up to the mark, sometimes i just found her expressions over expressing or sometimes may be expressing nothing at all...oh,.! i just forgot to mention the PARK SHIN HYE syndrome that she has to her credit...it was really annoying..

the music was not bad...i don't remember them well so they are not remarkably good...

i don't rewatch dramas.. so i won't recomend it..
if you are looking for something light hearted, romantic and nice , just go for it...

They translated this anime into a live action so exquisitely. I am beyond impressed. I thought the only way competitive Karuta was interesting was because they depicted in through animation. I was so wrong. I was just as thrilled as I was with the anime... maybe even more so. To see actual humans move that fast and with such precision was amazing. I was on the edge or my seat and cheering along just like I did with the anime.

The cast is perfect. Absolutely perfect. They all embody the characters from the anime so well. It's truly as if you get to see them come to life. Especially the actresses for Chihaya and Kana. I think those two could have been easily overdone, but they straight up nailed it.

The beauty, the poetry, the camaraderie, the magic, the feels... this film really captured it all and then some. I still had my chills after the end and tears forming. I'm very much looking forward to watching part 2. But most of all, it has me having a hard time being patient for the next season of the anime.

The story is smooth going… sweet and cute kind of love story. Some kind real life experience with not much typical kind of plpts. And I expected that like in other dramas the rival of main female lead will be same kind with tauntings and hatred nd playing tricks against her but there was nothing like that. It was a nuetral sweet story. And adding game effects in the drama… I totally loved it. But I expected that till the end but they stopped in the midway. That game effects in middle to middle were totally lovable(for me).

And songs and music was good too.

OSTs are good too. And ending song by Yang Yang awwww... That was unexpected. Loved that ending song.

Definitly worth watching (not for those who cant stand nuetral stories with much twists).
I would definitlty recommend to watch this show.

I feel like this really takes me back to that "boys over flowers" or "flower boy" period we had a couple of years ago, although there's a chance its still going on. Anyway, as the title indicates "Cinderella" is the poor girl who gets with the chaebal and the family is opposed to it or at least the"grandpa" and they try to tear them apart. The chaebal she falls in love with is of course the one that treats her the with some degree of douchery, but he later opens up to her and they make it through whatever comes their way.

This drama is pretty predictable and cliche but I found myself watching it because it was refreshing to me, a bit nostalgic as well to when I first started watching dramas. It also had some actors I've seen around and just gave it a chance. I think it's one of those dramas those dramas to watch after you've just finished watching a gooood drama that might have finished recently.

I watched this some years ago and decide to rewatch recently. There are a lot of moments I was embarrassing for Bo Ri but I loved that she was a strong female lead which I think is important. The actors are great. The characters chemistry was good and I love the two leads as actor and actress. I've seen them both in other shows and I'm always a fan due to their great acting abilities. They also have a great supporting cast that add to the shows side story lines but most of the time I wasn't much interested in the side stories so much. It also is a HEA.
On the down side, which wasn't too bad, was that I didn't like the wishy washness of the decision making that went on but it was easy enough to get through. It does tend to drag here and there but other wise cute and funny. I think it could have used a bit more skin ship but still had it's share of moments. It never made my heart quake or leave me shivering with excitement but it was still good and I'll likely watch it again down the line sometime.
