I don't know why no one wrote a review about this drama yet!!!!
Well it's my first time writing one but I couldn't stand by and not recommand this to people...
As to why I did love it:
- the story is UNPREDICTIBLE
- the music is breathtaking
- the action is okey
- the romance is more than DAEBAK without cheesyness
I 'm already 10 eps in this show and I can't believe it's only 20 eps it feels like the story can go infinitly
So people GO watch it NOW but be open minded and not jugemental because I assure you FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT

this drama was awesome! the cast was super bomb especially the female lead she was just too funny! I think some parts were a bit predictable but then their would always be a twist making you second guess. I loved how their was a balance of friendship, love and family all in one and that it wasn't just all about the main characters :)) enjoyed this drama!

Ok, I can definitely say this is not for everyone, but for some reason, i really liked it. Why? I'm not really sure because the plot isn't that great, but i was really impressed with how its different from the norm. If you don't believe me watch the last episode! (SPOILER DONT READ NEXT LINE) I was also really happy and surprised with who she ended up with, until episode 10, I was kinda expecting the opposite. Maybe some don't like how the end turned out but the last episode was my favorite!

So do I recommend it? If you only like the type of dramas that are realistic and melodramatic then no. I think this is the best type to watch between other intense dramas to take a break, or maybe if you really like nail art like me ;) (has nothing to do with the drama but there is some cool designs in there)

ummm what can i say about this drama, bad just doesnt cut it, there should be more words to describe the mediocrity.anyways as always theres good and bad.
the good this is that it was short coz girl i dont think i could take anymore of the ridiculous journal. the other is that song jae rim mostly and the rest were a hot cast so kudos. one major thing that gave it a 5 instead of 2 is unlike other kdramas this has alot of kissing scenes so i liked it. there really was also some cute moments seriously. thunder actually did a good job for his first role, he was cute and funny but sometimes i could feel his nervousness.
the bad thing oh gosh its like 99 problems. park gyu ri, how did this girl get chosen for this role coz its definately not her acting. one of the baddest gender bender. this girl couldnt pretend to be a boy for the life of her. i watch shows for the actual acting and not the cuteness. she supposedly was writing a journal by pretending to be a boy and find out about this guy she fancied. everytime they re-enacted her stories is when i would want to throw this laptop. it was fake beyond fake including her fake wig, fake gumihos, fake hunters, fake guns and gunshots......i could go on to 99. some story lines were really great like the grandma/grandpa fiasco. its just the story lines kept getting plugged in where they shouldnt.
give it a try, u gonna like kay as he starts getting feelings for her/him and seeing the different styles of nail art.
how do u tell about someone by looking at their nails **smh**

Definitely not the best drama out there, but a must watch if you love tomboys and girls dressing up as boys. Gyuri does marvelous acting as a boy, so many other girls out there dressing up as a guys do terrible jobs, starting with Sulli's awful acting in To the beautiful you. (But no one beats our female lead in Coffee prince, of course. That was a genious role)
Gyuri is not trying too hard to be boyish and definitely remembers the fact that everyone's supposed to think she's a boy in every scene. I had never payed attention to her as a part of Kara until this drama.
I must say I fell in love with Bunny (her character on this drama)
Song Jae Rim (yep that super hot model who was in 2ne1 Go Away, and that Nell's video with Lee minki) Is one of the 3 male leads in this drama, his acting is very good, (even though the character wasnt the best written one) though he looks way hotter shaved and with long hair.
Thunder's character was a bit pathetic and the other lead, Alex had the same expression in the whole 10 episodes of this drama.

If you're in for a drama about GIRL DRESSING UP AS BOY, GUMIHOS, MELODRAMA, ACTION, LOVE TRIANGLE AND LOTS OF SIDE STORIES.
I'm guesing this is for you.

This drama definitely wanted to put as many things as possible in the short time of 10 episodes, still not sure if it was a bad bad idea or it was just needing a couple more chapters to be great.

Wow. This was REALLY bad. Not sure if the acting was that bad or it was just because the writing was so bad and the actors had little to work with. Nothing new in presenting the old k-drama saws, such as girl-dressing-as-boy, reuniting with lost parent, medical emergencies, and assorted gumiho themes running throughout the drama.

There should be a category for art direction/stage sets so I could issue the low score deserved. For an interior that was supposed to be a nail salon, the decor was drab, dark and colorless. The nail salon's employee lounge was much better decorated, as was the exterior of the building.

The only reason I stayed with this drama through ten episodes was for Song Jae Rim, who was fantastic as loyal bodyguard Kim Chae Woon in "The Moon That Embraces The Sun". Song was also the only actor that showed any degree of acting skill, along with Thunder as Jin, and Han So Young as Ji Soo. Hopefully this bad drama won't stain Song's resume. Guess every actor's got one bad drama skeleton in his or her closet.

The main female character was so uninteresting, I became more interested in her roommate's love triangle!

Even Thunder's inherent cuteness and high water pants got old by the end of the drama. Mercifully, 10 episodes put this drama out of it's misery. Save yourself 10 hours and watch something else.

Since no-one has written a review for this heartwarming and tender drama I decided to write one to give it some attention it deserves. The drama focuses on Yuzu's story as a mentally disabled young woman who raises a child against all odds. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this endearing drama. Having experience of working with children who have severe learning difficulties I found Yuzu's story very relatable. Their behavior is unpredictable and they do have difficulty in processing information but they feel emotions just like everyone else and just want to be accepted. The discrimination she faces are real, the challenges she faces are real and to go through all this while raising a child is truly inspiring. The drama pulls away from being too heavy by providing many lighthearted and warm moments between Yuzu and her daughter. It focuses on the importance of family and friendships and it demonstrated that with the right support and loving care people like Yuzu can thrive and succeed in society. The acting was brilliant by all the cast and no doubt Yuzu's daughter Himawari will steal your heart away. Personally this is why I love Japanese dramas so much because their simple stories can really capture the audience's heart. If you like very good quality, heartwarming and meaningful dramas then I can highly recommend Daisuki.

From the very beginning I was hooked, it was like i was possessed ok ok maybe not possessed, but very excited to watch the next episode. The acting was superb from when they were kids to when they grew up. The entire cast was just excellent. The plot was so unique and genius that the story line was not boring. Although I shed a few tears, there was characters that kept me laughing. The action was so real that it kept me at the edge of my sit. One thing that made this drama was that there was some sexy ass actors. Omg omg the end was awesome, fabulous, spectacular, breathtaking and most definitely beautiful. Everybody sorry that my commenting is way to long but this drama is worth it and I recommended it for everyone. I love love love this drama. It was DAEBAK aka AWESOME.

First, I like this drama because the "good guys" aren't stupid. It is refreshing and I love the fact that the "good guys" aren't just fumbling around trying to figure out what is going on and what to do about it. I can't go into detail because there would be too many spoilers, but that is my favorite thing about the writing of this drama. There are a few times that I thought they should have just killed the "bad guys" when they had the chance, but then I guess there would not have been a drama. The story flows well with suspense, fighting, assassination attempts, etc.

Lee Dong Wook and Song Ji Hyo as Choi Won and Da In acted well in their rolls. They are just good actors regardless of story line. However, the romance between them wasn't that great. It seemed more like they cared for each other as good friends rather than lovers. There really wasn't that much of a triangle and it really bothered me how they ended it for Yoon Jin Yi's character, So Baek. She was so optimistic, a good fighter, and a little naive. I adored her character. I do think she was better suited to be with Kwon Hyun Sang's character, Kkeok Jeong though. Going back to Da In's romance, there was more chemistry between her and Sung Woong's character, Do Moon. The romantic story between Song Jong Ho's character, Red Demon and Kang Byul as Choi Won's sister was better than the main character's romance. They were totally great together. Im Seul Ong played the Crown Prince really well. I didn't know he could act. The other supporting cast including the bandits and the bad guys were also good.

The kids Kim Yoo Bin as Rang and whoever played the other prince were perfect. Yoo Bin is just too cute for words.

The music is fine.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like historical, romantic, action dramas, then I think this is one to try.

This was quite an entertaining drama. A cross between illjimae and city hunter, it was entertaining with romance, suspense, fight scenes, the works.
I had some frustrations because the scenes were so long, i mean each and every thing needed a 10 sec ff to go forward believe me. If someone is trying to say somethings it takes them 10 sec to start the dialogue.
The begining is excellent with a lovely story (regardless of the slowness of the scenes) it progresses good, it does slacks and gets a bit boring in the latter part of the drama but you are so far ahead you have to finish it. (the evil guy gets a bit boring as no one seems to be able to control him, its a bit unnatural as he seems untouchable to this extent)
I really loved the ending, it was quite romantic and cute. I would have prefered if they had shortened the old era and given us a few episodes of the modern era, I think it would have worked much better.
Overall, an enjoyable drama.

HIS CRIB. but overall really a good mystery/ Nonna romance thriller plus i LOVE LOVE LOVE NONNA romance

TL;DR? Totally worth the watch! Compelling and highly original!

I feel like odd man out when it comes to this drama. Nine Times Time Travel is a really great drama, one that I think anyone could enjoy. It has something for all types of drama watchers, and I think the storyline is unique enough to keep you guessing at every turn. As soon as you think you have it figured out, the writers throw your notions out the window. It's rare for a drama to excel at that aspect so much without seeming like they jumped shark.

But here is where I start feeling odd man out from all of the people who gave this story a ten. I am not sure where to place the blame for this on. The writers touted the story as even better than Queen In Hyun's Man. The similar time travel also leads to comparisons, and every single person that recommended it to me mentioned QIHM and how similar they were. And, to a degree, they are similar. But 9 focuses much less on the romantic aspect than QIHM did. 9 is all about all of the relationships between all of the characters, not just the main couple. It also lacked the levity that QIHM embraced. There wasn't an episode of QIHM that went by without making you smile at least once. 9 was much more melodramatic and tearful.

All of that aside, the actors seriously did an amazing job, every single one of them. Lee Jin Wook just has this smile that conveys so much sadness and heartbreak, you just want to hug him. And the supporting cast all were absolutely phenomenal as well. I really liked the few QIHM Easter eggs that I noticed, like when the head reporter guy (who was the baddie in QIHM) ringtone was Hee Jin's ringtone. It was cute!

This drama had a lot of action and drama and was constantly moving from the getgo. There were very few slow scenes, and almost no useless scenes, which can be nice. Every scene felt like it had a purpose, even if you didn't understand the purpose for 10 episodes. There were, however, a lot of really boring car chase scenes. I mean, one or two is OK, if it's like a 3 minutes shot. But almost entire episodes were devoted to car chases, so it felt excessive.

All in all, this was definitely a drama I could recommend to anyone, and I really do think anyone would enjoy. My only caution would be to not go into this expecting a lot of romance, cause you will be disappointed.

this drama is really fun.
It has the perfect mixture between love and family, making it more interesting. Even if it is a remake, it was as good as the original and Tamamori Yuta was really good acting the part of Ren, and could show really well the tsundere-like personality of the protagonist. I liked it because the love story is not the typical one, and it's full of suspense. Besides, there are not the usual romantic drama's cliches that make you know the end halfway.
So in the end, if you want to watch something fun, romantic, unexpected and that will keep your eyes on the screen, this is the right drama.

Ok, if you really liked the anime version, you should watch it now! You will like it for sure. Or if you're a teenager that finds fun in everything and likes cute things, go for it!

But if you are not a teenager and don't like dramas that feels like you are watching a shoujo anime, don't lost your time watching this.

The story is really cliché... A High School where all the boys are from rich families, good looking and all well dressed. And the main girl is the typical protagonist, who get a scholarship to study in the prestigious Ouran Academy. Overall, a easy rom/com drama, who could be better, if it weren't for the constant use of comedy, in an exaggerated way (the effects were so similar to a anime show, even the facial expression were to extreme).

The Cast was ok. Yamamoto Yusuke is so good looking and I loved him in Tumbling, but here It wasn't enough for me to enjoy the drama. Some of the characters were weird (like the 2 twins and the boy who was always with that bunny - did you find that cute? I didn't!) and I didn't feel any empathy with the characters.

The music was ok... Hum... I don't have most to say, it fits the drama.

Overall is mediocre. I enjoy it while I was watching it, but sometimes I had to skip some scenes, because many of them were simply ridiculous. Rewatch Value for me is a 1, because I can't give 0. I don't have any intension of rewatch this drama. Mainly because I was so glad to finished this drama, the sooner I could.

But like I said at the beginning of this review, this is my opinion, from someone that didn't watch the anime version and was curious about this. But after all, this is the kinda of dramas I don't like.

The promise of the first 5 or so episodes has kept me going, but I've dropped the show twice already. The beginning of the show focused on the differences between the middle class and super rich, and the struggles common people face as they try to advance in a hierarchical society. It was a very interesting idea, well executed, and I would give the first few episodes a 9.

As the show goes on, all the interesting plotlines disappear, and the show's sole focus becomes petty family arguments. The reason I have dropped the show twice is because the way this show portrays women has made me uncomfortable and angry. All of the "good" characters are totally spineless women who will subject themselves to all manner of abuse at the hands of men and in-laws without any resistance at all. All of the show's villains are cunning, mischievous women. Even when men do horrible things in the show, it is revealed that their evil women pushed them to behave that way.

The second half is about to start, so I am hoping that it resumes focus on something other than poorly-written cat fighting. However, you should know that the first half, and especially episodes 10-24 can be really hard to stomach.
