I thought the final was absolutely amazing. The acting was great, of course, and the characters fit together like they did in the drama. The final could have been made into a drama itself. I really loved the storyline of the final, and am really sad that it had to end. The final has some adventure in it which makes you want to keep watching to see what happens next. The ending read more was the best though. Being a huge fan of Hana Yori Dango, I was so sad to see it end, but seeing the way the final ends, although it is sad, was the perfect ending to one of my favorite dramas of all times. I just wish that the plot of the final was a little bit more clear. I kind of felt that the writers tried to pack so much into the final that it should have been a drama, but I know some people might get tired of the drama continuing on. There was so much fit into the small amount of time that the ending seemed a bit too rushed, and I don't think the time needed in certain scenes was there, but besides that, the final was amazing. It has definitely become one of my favorite endings to a drama, and if you're a Hana Yori Dango fan you won't be disappointed watching the final, because it's worth it.

Final film is just like next drama's episode, which is summary all this story and it makes beautiful end. The all series is epic, so I suppose that this movie doesn't require bigger comment. When I watch that long drama I always feel sadness that I have to part with characters, but on th other hand it is a huge benefit, because if something is too long, the plot loses sense and read more casts has more crazy threads. In this case I know I can always comeback to drama and characters won't be changed.

Ah, it's finally over. Honestly, I've inwardly cursed a lot for once. The very very end of the movie was funny. As for the whole movie and the whole series, it has some very very good points but is overall so heavily abusive, that it makes me sick. I can't give it more than a well meant 6/10. The me in the past might have thought differently. Realising that, I could see how much I've grown. For that I'm thankful. If you made it through the whole story to this point, congratulations. I hope you laught a little, thought a lot about life and take everything with a grain of salt in the end. ;)

Are they really married? Based on the articles that I read they're dating for 9 years and planning to get married (it was posted 3 years ago (2014) btw.) I'm not sure if it was legit and if they really got married. The articles are so limited, I can't find any reliable blogs/websites about their relationship. I'm shipping them so much. So are they married now in real life or what? :)

Really liked this movie; I think it was a good way to close off the series, quite bittersweet as well! But I did want more closure with Rui's character? Like, what exactly did he mouth at the end!? Gahh, really liked his character <3

when I first watched this years ago, a few weeks after it was released, I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the drama. But when I watched it again this year, I finally enjoyed it full time. I was just planning to rewatch the first few minutes but I end up watching the entire.

Honestly, I did not enjoy this movie too much... As another commenter said, I may have enjoyed this more if I didn't wait so long to watch the finale after the 2nd season. I didnt really enjoy the whole tiara concept, but towards the end is where I actually found the film enjoyable. Loved the wedding scene and the overall message of the film! I also loved seeing the characters I have grown to love find closure and become more mature. I do not regret watching because I had a proper ending to this series, but it wasn't as great as I expected! Sorry!

A great ending to what I believe is the best version of BOF...loved the ending credits, and I think knowing that the main couple is one in real life made it more 'FEELS' for me. Great

I have to agree, the story, the script in this movie were really bad. You have to completely turn off your brain in order to not get into the details that makes no sense. But i enjoyed the movie, seeing our couple overcome their relationship crisis was quite interesting, and the ending was just cute. Also there were some really beautiful places where the film was shot. All in all enjoyable movie but only for fans of lead couple.

Well what the movie was getting at were the inner/emotional obstacles between them which they had to overcome since the two seasons had used up all the external obstacles possible that could tear them apart (his mother and her emotional blackmail, love rivals, social disparity, etc). Personally, what I love most about the film was the way it expressed the message behind the false notion of the visibility of "eternal love", how it once again affirmed that Domyoji loved Makino's *being* and not because of any superficial attribute of hers, and his gratitude towards her parents for simply bringing her into existence. In fact, one of the best moments for me was when Domyoji knelt before them to express said gratitude since the respectful way he dealt with them (instead of being justifiably angry or pissed) was beautiful to see. It was not so much on the logic of the so-called plot involving the tiara that mattered.

I loved the first season and began watching the second immediately. Well, I liked the second season a bit less, but when it was over I looked forward to the movie. Now I regret that I waited a few months before I watched the movie, because I didn't get the same happy feelings at all from it. In fact I thought it was pretty boring, predictable and silly, but like PandaBearTrio says, I appreciate the message and the last part of the movie was very cute! Also, Doumyouji seemed to have matured (just a little bit) as a person, which was a nice touch.

I loved the dramas, but this movie plot was garbage. Even though, I appreciate the message of it all.
