1) The reason I watched this:

At the time, I was looking for any new drama. I was captured by the cast and the general story and end up watching it.

2 )Storyline/Plot:

I would summarize it in: revenge leads to love; that would be the main idea of the whole drama along with other events that made the story one of its kind somehow.

Positive points:

*The script writers gave a special story for this drama. Well, it's not the type that would make you jump off your seat but it's the type that would make you interested.
*The turns in this drama were simply unexpected, I usually anticipate many events while watching dramas especially K-dramas but in here many of them were surprising; I just love it when I find the exact opposite of what I have anticipated.
*There was creativity when script writers chose to show different parts that the ausience has to collect together in order to understand the meaning behind it.
*The drama's events never became slow.

Negative points:

*Some moments weren't necessary.
*Exept that there isn't much to mention.

Story would have 8.5/10

3) Acting/Cast:

Like I said earlier, one of the reasons that made me watch this drama was its cast; they were perfect for their roles.
*Kim So Yeon was so brilliant, she portrayed her role in a perfect way; whether she was the spoiled rich girl, the tough prosecutor, the woman in love or the fashion girl; she would do anything to get new brands no matter how much hardships she may go through plus she's pretty ; she totally made this drama enjoyable.
*Park Shi Hoo: I just love that actor; here he showed many personalities: the cool type, the angry type, the mysterious type, the tough type and many others that made his role very interesting to watch.
*Han Jung Soo: I really fell for him here, his role was nicely done
*Other supporting roles were acceptable overall.

Cast: 9/10
Acting: 8.5/10

4) The ending:

Even if it was a typical rom-com ending but it was what I wanted to see in the last episode.

The ending: 8.5/10

5) My impression (How did it affect me):

*I finished it in three days which means that I really liked it.
*Even though it started in an annoying way, this drama managed to pull it off and grab my attention later on.
*It was interesting from the moment it started until the end.

My impression: 8.5/10

6) Overall:

*If you like special romantic comedis then this is for you.
*If you like to see great actors on screen then watch this.

Overall 8.25/10.

When I watched this I was on a Park Shi Hoo craze and of course i like a good romcom...

Story: The first half of the drama masks itself as an ordinary romcom in a law setting. Its enjoyable but not anything ive never seen before. Now after episode 9 hits you will think your starting to watch a whole new drama. The second half is filled with a revenge plot and also a frustrating angsty romance. I liked that it was a romcom but withan actual plot. I loved the ending!!

Acing/Cast: I already knew PSH is a great actor but I was really surprised by Kim So Yeon. Her character in the beginning can come off as an annoying ditsy and materialistic brat but the writers give her a personality makeover and lots of character growth so bear with her. The leads though were perfectly casted cause their chemistry was HOT! I liked the second lead couple but wished their relationship started a bit earlier in the drama because it was kind of unbelievable how they become a couple by the end. Really liked the supporting cast and cared about their characters.

Music: At first I found 2 of the songs annoying as they played them over and over in the beginning but they matched the theme well enough. I liked the rest of the songs they used throughout enough to put on my ipod.

Rewatch: I can see myself watching this every year just to see the leads together on my screen=)

Overall Prosecutor Princess is not what it seems so give it a chance or you'll be missing out on one of the best romcoms of 2010!

It took me a while to come around to watching this but I am glad I did. I discovered Park Shi Hoo and Kim So Yun! This show is deceptive at first. It comes off as a 'typical spoiled rich girl learns a lesson' drama but it becomes much deeper than that.

I love when a character grows so much in a drama that she is like a new person and yet, she has kept the best elements of herself intact. This is true of the male lead as well.

I became addicted to the love story and how that love creeps up on both of them unexpectedly. The plot progesses nicely and its an interesting hook and plot turn with Park Shi Hoo's character that I had not seen before. Now I want to go find and watch other dramas with either actor in them. The only problem? I want "Fly High" to get out of my head!

Well, I seem to have stumbled into something interesting while Im waiting for Yamapi and Acchan's newest drama to be posted online, WHY CANT I HAVE JAPANESE TV STATIONS DARN IT. Anyway, ranting about random things aside, lets get into this.

Story 10/10 : I really do like the storyline, an oblivious girl getting herself into all kinds of trouble as a prosecutor but slowly and surely begins to grow into a woman who has a sense of justice and duty. From what I've read in other reviews, the story does take a twist, going from a comedy to a more serious drama involving murder, but this was the same as Lie to Me, but romantic there, not dark matter or anything, but I digress. Theres parts of the early drama that just had me rolling in laughter, and for some reason, I couldn't stop, maybe because of KSY? Not too sure.

Acting 10/10 : Wow umm... I didn't even know Kim SoYeon can be bubbly and ditsy. From what I gathered from IRIS, she was one total b*d*ss who still was capable of loving even through her current circumstances. Her role in this is absolutely perfect, the way she acts makes you believe that she's a complete, dare I say, blonde, and in most of the early episodes, you're just annoyed with her. Her u-turn transformation from a serious agent in IRIS to a ditsy girl really proves her prowess as an actress. The directors also do a great job of keeping Lawyer Seo(sorry, I dont know his real name) in the shadows early in the drama, while the rest of the supporting actors/actress help the leads shine.

Music 7/10 : The OST's in the show fit great into the personal aspects of the characters but there were some parts where music was played where it was unncessary and invoked wrong emotions when it wasn't needed.

Rewatch 7/10 : Early episodes? Just for a laugh here and there, I hope that this continues to be interesting, be it from comedy or seriousness.

Overall 9/10 : Its a great drama, definitely underrated from other dramas, I hope it gets some more attention ^^.

Wow. This drama is really unexpected. I really thought that this drama would be one of those romantic comedies with a cute and loving story but it totally wasn't. Instead of it being really a romantic comedy, it was more mysterious. I never ever expected for the drama to turn out like that which is why I really liked it. I thought it was going to be one of those dramas where the girl meets the guy and they have a few troubles along the way but it was much more than that. The things that happen in this drama really blow your mind. The plot was very well written and it really surprises its audience. Expect the unexpected....

It was a nice and fun drama to watch but there was one thing that made this stand out from other dramas. You always have that love triangle in every series and from the first episode you already know who the protagonist will end up with and who will be left out.

For this drama you are mislead into thinking that she'll end up with one guy because he fits the 'unapproachable' guy category but in the end she gets together with the other. I loved the confusion because I didn't know which one she'll end up with so that makes this drama different all the others.

The one thing that annoyed me at times is the girl because she's extremely whiny. I know that 80% of girls in korean dramas are but she's top 5 for sure. So if you don't like whiny girls this is not your thing. But she's not bad and she's unique.

I also got to know more about prosecutors and what their work consists of so it's also educational. Very interesting.

Story:

It starts out very annoying, and you will most probably find yourself annoyed with the main character Hyeri. You may even find yourself not wanting to continue....BUT fret not, because it really gets a lot better. The character development in this drama is what makes it such a great story. I would recommend you stick through this one till the end because overall it's worth the watch. It's really touching, and I really felt moved by the father/daughter relationship the main role had.

Acting:
The acting was amazing....obviously, because Park Shi Hoo was in it. He is one of my favorite actors because of how well he portrays how his character is feeling. You can see the pain in his eyes when Inwoo was having a hard time. Overall everyone did a great job in acting in this drama and I didn't feel disappointed at all with any of them.

Music:
I enjoyed the soundtrack and even found myself and my husband both singing, "GOODBYE! GOODBYE MY PRINCESS!" Every single time it came on, and he wasn't even watching the drama with me.

Rewatch:
I don't rewatch dramas normally, and if I were to watch this again I would probably just skip to the end.

Overall:
It's worth the watch, and if you love Park Shi Hoo like I do, you will NOT be disappointed and may even find yourself falling in love with him all over again.

If you can make it through... This can be a halfway good watch
2 stars for Eps 1-8; 7 stars for Eps 9-16
(How does that average out to a 6? Shhh, I don't know either)

I almost gave up on this drama. The first 8 eps are horrendous, toe-nail curling, cringe-inducing and I'm sure I lost a few brain cells in the process. Ma Hye Ri's character starts off as one of the ditziest, bird-brained Kdrama females I have EVER come across... I only continued because everyone promised me it would get better, which it did - even if that transformation was almost too late in coming.

Honestly, for a drama called "Prosecutor Princess" I thought the plot couldn't possibly be that great, but it's actually halfway unique, and allows for an interesting twist in the romance. We've all seen the typical scenarios where "silly girl learns to grow up and become mature and confident, and thereby wins the love of already confidant man." Here we see the first part of this, but the male lead Seo In Woo (Park Shi Woo) does not fit into the normal Kdrama character stereotype.

Let me repeat! The MALE lead does NOT play the standard, "You're an idiot; You're ugly; go cause drama somewhere Not around me; I hate you, but why do I like you against my will?" -spouting character! Despite HyeRi's ditziness, In Woo never calls her stupid, nor patronizes her. On the contrary, from episode 1 he appears as her superman, saving the day and whatnot, but while doing so he is encouraging and supportive, and given a little time, believably enamored by our silly and naive Hye Ri.

Okay, so there's more to that than meets the eye (but of course! It's Kdramaland!) but that doesn't change the fact that for me - curling my toes and dying in agony at our exasperating heroine - seeing a male lead that unbelievably adorable from day 1 was a very welcome change. I'd like that say that his sobering and non-dominating influence helps Hye Ri become more human, as well as a better prosecutor; or maybe the writers just decided they'd had enough with her being unreasonably ridiculous after a while, but believe it or not: Kim So Yeon manages to flesh out the character of Ma Hye Ri into someone I actually care about, and therefore someone our lead would care about.

My favorite quote out of her:
"My common sense is a bit lacking in consistency."

Yes, well so is mine sometimes, otherwise I may have saved myself the trouble of watching this... but I think this show gives us enough in its second half to make Prosecutor Princess a good watch. You might just have to fast-forward a bit to get to the good parts. ;)

This review may contain spoilers
unlike some ppl, I think this drama was REALLY good. It deserves 10/10 __ I watched it long time ago and since none of the reviews gave this drama a rating of 10. I'm doing it.

Even though at first it was boring that I hesitated about shutting my window and going to sleep, but then I couldn't stop. It had that weird kind of attraction. I laughed, A LOT. Cried, A LOT. Loved it, A LOT.

Ma Hye Ri character at first was annoying, but you know what? Kim So Yeon acting skills made me like her. The way she took her role made me attracted even though it was an annoying role. The way she speak, look, and laugh just fits the character. It was amazing. Impressive actress. Beautiful in her own way.

Then we come to Park Shi Hoo, I bet anyone who watched any of his dramas/movies knows how good he is. Seriously people, he's an example of perfection. Great Looks + Great Acting. PERIOD.

If you wanna know about the drama as a whole. It was Excellent. The drama showed us in the first episodes how each person is. Background, character, etc. The way the two main leads meet, interact, was so interesting that I just couldn't stop smiling. Their scenes together were hilarious and romantic= NO BOREDOM PEOPLE.
Then comes how they fall in love. Unlike most dramas, this one showed how ppl fall in love. Not by chance, first sight, moment, nor from hate to love. It was original but in a unique way!

REALLY ENJOYED WATCHING IT.

*SPOILERS*:

in the last episodes. I CRIED, LIKE CRIED, AND CRIED. Not even for a single minute I suspected Seo In Woo, and that made me cry MORE. I was SHOCKED, PISSED, SAD, and HURT. But DAMMIT, this drama was a blow off.

Prosecutor Princess was my first Korean Drama and introduced me to the amazing world of KDramas and Korean Culture. My neighbor has this drama on DVD and so I borrowed it. I loved the concept of fashionista-smart prosecutor! Also, it reminded me of the movie Legally Blonde. The plot seemed very simple in the first episodes, but then it had so many twists and turns you had to be really careful not to miss anything. Park Shi Hoo and Kim So-yeon are amazing together, so much chemistry between those hotties! I also loved the music in the drama. I have continuously recommended this drama. Hopefully, I will re-watch again soon and continue in the future.

This was cute and awesome. The fact that ma hye ri was in IRIS as a bad ass chick and is a cute prosecutor in this is great. I love the kissing scenes and how there was no jealous ex's. Theacting was good too and the main characters were cute to look at. I love her wardrobe. If u want a good drama with no jealousy this is a good one to watch.

When I watched the first episode of prosecutor princess, I thought it would the same storyline of many Korean dramas - a spoiled girl learns lessons in life and falls in love.

I'm 100% sure this is the best drama I've ever seen, it's my favorite. There's romance (not your standard Korean romance, too. At least not with the male lead choice), amazing acting and a wonderful cast, mystery, and emotional drama.

I recommend this drama. It will make you laugh like hell (I scared everyone around me), make you go "awww", and cry (I had to keep a box of tissues around in the last couple of episodes).
