Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
EXO's leader Suho will continue acting with The Crown Prince Has Disappeared.
On January 3, Suho's agency SM Entertainment officially confirmed that the EXO leader will participate in the upcoming MBN K-drama The Crown Prince Has Disappeared.
This will be Suho's first time leading a historical K-drama. In the past, Suho has starred in genres such as romance comedy, thriller mystery, and more.
In 2023, Suho became a scene stealer in the JTBC K-drama Behind Your Touch with Han Ji Min, Lee Min Ki, Joo Min Kyung, Kim Hee Won, and Park Sung Yun.
He also made a guest appearance in the much anticipated tvN K-drama Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun led by Jang Dong Gun, Lee Joon Gi, Shin Sae Kyeong, Kim Ok Bin, Park Hae Joon, and Cha Yong Hak.
Suho made his debut in 2012 through the K-pop group EXO. In 2013, he began his acting career through cameo roles in K-dramas. He is known for being a cast of the K-dramas Prime Minister and I, The Universe’s Star, Rich Man, How Are You Bread, and more.
Aside from being busy now as an actor, Suho will also actively participate in all EXO's activities.
Suho will be working with Hong Ye Ji, Kim Min Kyu, Myung Se Bin, and Yoo Se Rye in the upcoming MBN K-drama.
The Crown Prince Has Disappeared will be the next work of director Kim Jin Man (Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People and Kill Me, Heal Me) and writers Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul, the same writers of the K-drama Bossam: Steal the Fate. This is the highest rating of all time for the broadcast channel MBN.
The upcoming K-drama is a Joseon-era romance comedy that will tell the story of a woman who kidnaps and bosses around the crown prince. The woman is set to become the crown prince's wife.
Suho will play the lead role named Lee Kun.
The Crown Prince Has Disappeared is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2024.
