When you're trying not to compare a Remake to the Original story

I did my very best to not compare this drama to the original K-drama (Hello Monster). However, the more I watched, the more interesting it became and over time, I was engrossed in it and kept watching forgetting a bit about the original.
Like the story is initially the same, but you know how it is in remakes, there will always be major or minor changes. The changes in this drama were minor so they weren't much of a big deal to me.

For this drama, what rooted me was the actors/characters themselves more so than the story itself. Like I already knew the story, but I wanted to see how the actors would enact the characters and make them into their own version without making me think of the original or try to compare. I wanted them to make me feel like I was watching something brand new. That is what I look for and what I want to feel in remakes when I watch them. I never looked at who were casted and wanted to be surprised(minus seeing Tay in the poster) to see how the characters can make the story unfold and how well they able to interact with each other and make me as a viewer continue to watch. I think they succeeded in pulling me in and making me not wanting to stop watching. It had that effect of making me want to rewatch the original story and not in a bad way or to compare, but just to enjoy its originality and appreciate the efforts of the remake.

It took a while to get used to some of the characters. Like the FL, I couldn't get used to her. I'll be very biased about that with no Fs to give. I don't know why they made her so plain and kiddish-looking and she looked so lost half the time. She didn't even seem like a cop at all. LOL I didn't dislike her but she was my least favorite character. The rest investigation team were cool peep, even the Lieutenant/ team leader was so cute.
Now, for the big 3. Kong, the actor who played him was quite creepy but he didn't give me much chills as I was expecting. Like I felt like he was trying really hard to give off that serial killer vibe but because he was trying too hard, it didn't have much of an impact to me. Paytai, played by hottie Tay wasn't bad, but it felt lacking. I don't know what it was but I wanted him to spice up his character some more. I know he could have because he's an amazing actor but to me, it felt like maybe he was holding back a bit. Now, my fav character was Tanwa/Tony played by Petch. He did well. Something about this guy interest me a lot and he was one of the main reasons why I continued to watch. It was my first time seeing this actor, but I actually really liked how he acted.

The story was decently written and I did enjoy the drama as it's own if I didn't watch the original and I do like it as a remake. I don't care for the music, not that it was there much of the time.
Will I rewatch this? Probably not. These dramas are a one type watch dramas. If I rewatch again, it would be specific scenes, not the entire thing.
Would I recommend this to anyone who has or hasn't seen the original? Sure! I'd recommend this for one who hasn't seen the original. As for those who's seen the original, I'd say this drama wasn't bad at all. Don't pay much attention to anything, just watch of your own volition and judge for yourself whether you will enjoy it or not.

The Guest is NOT welcomed in my home!!!!

I was in the mood for horror and it was creeptacular. ?

It stated off so intense and it kept peaking my interest each episode. It totally delivered with the creepiness. A lot of it was because of the lighting to set the mood, the music they would use, the camera angles, and how amazing the actors were at being freaky with their facial expressions. It was quite impressive. I loved that and I could feel creeped out watching it in the dark alone at home. That was until around the last couple of episodes when it was about to hit the climax. I became bored a bit and kind of disappointed because it was getting to a point where they were running in circles trying to rack their brains of what to do and who was the villain.

With all the gruesome things that happened, I was expecting it to go out with more of a bloody bang, ya know!
Like don't get me wrong, the story in itself was intriguing the way they were talking about this "Guest" thats been around for more than half a century who came from the East Seas. Like I was hoping for more of a backstory behind that. Like what is it exactly and how it came into being. Like I'm curious about things like that. It was wild how the exorcisms were performed by the priests but some of the times it took them longer to finish the exorcisms. I'm not well educated in that holy department, but it just shows how human the priests are. A lot of them aren't saints and claim to be holy and a soldier of God who go around helping people and dispel the wicked, when they themselves sin like your average joe. It seems that this type of work, one has to be physically and spiritually strong or they may end up hurting themselves or others.

The main characters or the 3-stooges as I call them, were too incoherent when it came to dealing with the issues caused by the Guest. I understand that it wasn't a coincidence that they all met again years after, and that they had a lot in common due to unfortunate events that occurred during their young lives, but I thought they would be more circumspect as adults rather than being reckless, impulsive, and foolhardy. Some of their decisions were ridiculous and I didn't see how it aided in the situation they were in. But there wasn't much teamwork to begin with since they all didn't really like or trusted each other to begin with. At least they were wary in that area. They never really stopped to really think about things but was ready to jump the gun as soon as they head the name of the Guest. ? Like why? However, as they've been though a lot in their lives together, those three developed a bond. It was of mutual interests and first but it became more than that after some time. :)
The main casts and supporting casts did a really good job. I was even amazed at the kids. Those little shits were so creepy I swear. LOL

I wanted to watch something scary. This wasn't as scary but it was very creepy, especially with the sounds effects and music. Mind you, I had the volume high on the speakers too and I was always watching it late at night in the dark alone. That's the type creepy mood I'm talking about. It was eerily intense, because while watching it felt like the characters would sometimes jump out of the screen and stand in front of you. Like no thanks. Hahaha~ The last episode was a bit lackluster for me. The mini revelation was surprising but I was wanted more... like an all out war/battle. Ok, maybe that was too much but something along those lines. Then again, it made sense that things happen the way that it did. One can never stop evil from truly disappearing. It always spurs from darkness in human hearts, and the living is a lot more scarier than the dead or unseen spirit as they say.

Would I rewatch this again? Probably not because it won't be as creepy because I will be expecting things to happen and won't be surprised or creeped out. If it's with a friend who's never seen it, then definitely.
Would I recommend this to anyone? Definitely! I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to watch this and experience the uncanny feeling that it might affect you in the real world while watching. Hehe~ Don't watch if you can't handle this type of stuff, and if you can't watch it alone, try watching with someone so you don't get nightmares while sleeping in the dark. I can't promise you won't hear incomprehensible whispers near your ears. LOL ?

My sincere advice: Humans should really consider being careful when they try to mess with things in which they do not understand and cannot handle.

A bootleg crossover between Spy Kids and Inception?!

My interest piqued with this drama when I saw a trailer was recommended on my YouTube.
It got my attention with what I saw in the video.... parkour action, and some cute romantic scenes. And thus my journey began the following day after I breezed through the previous drama I was watching.

STORY:
The plot is very interesting, hence why it caught my attention in the first place. Some hot shot millionaire guy trained 4 boys from childhood to adulthood in order to use their data to create a game catered towards women. The concept is cool, but the repercussions were beyond insanity if you really think about it. His target were women who were lonely or women who were already in a relationship that craved love or attention that they were not getting from their significant other. He made the guys so perfect that it was so unreal, but the women didn't care. The more they didn't care because they were receiving something they not got in real life, the more immersed they were in the game to the point where it became unhealthy. This man was trying to take over the world with his deranged self. This in itself was wild, yet fascinating because I could not stop watching. It gave me a feel that I was watching something similar to Spy Kids crossing over with Inception. It was wild because half of the time I couldn't tell if they were in a game or in reality. It kind of messed with my head. LOL

ACTORS/CHARACTERS:
There were a lot of characters and to explicitly explain my likes and dislikes of each character, I'd be writing a whole dissertation and no-one has time for that. I'll just give my thoughts in general about them.
The four boys who who were locked away from society from childhood to adulthood they were only around each other and around the boss and his assistant. They were still like children even though they grew up in regards to the fact that they did not know how to interact and adjust to the outside world.
The main leading girls who were also best friends were okay. They were wild and a force to be reckoned with. They helped the boys a lot because they were the first people from the outside world they interacted with.
The grandma, I couldn't understand her though she was cool and badass!
The main antagonist, he was so twisted. He kept saying everyone betrayed him, but he was out of control. He was like a brat who threw a tantrum when he didn't get what he wanted and would try to harm others who got in his way that didn't agree with the way he thought. The actors did the best they could. The acting wasn't all that great but it wasn't bad either.

MUSIC:
The music was ok. Nothing catchy or made me want to sing along. However, the fours guys did sing the ending song I believe. It was cute.

Would I rewatch this drama again? Probably not. It was a one-watch-wonder for me. Why? Because watching again would not be a surprise since I know all the tricks and mind-blowing plot twists. There were a lot of plot holes, but I ignored majority of them in order to enjoy the drama. The build-up was there and intense, but then I don't know what happened. Still, there were some questions I have that are still unanswered, and I guess I'll never get my answers and will have to leave it up to my imagination. Would I recommend? It depends. If someone is looking for a something interesting and out of the ordinary then yes. It was refreshing to watch because I've never seen a plot like this before, minus the romance, which was cute. However, I think it could have been better. That ending messed me up tho. LOL
Overall, it's not a bad watch and its something one could watch to pass the time if they don't know what to watch! ^.^

Too Sweet to Handle

It's been a while since I wrote a review :)

I must say, that I truly enjoyed this drama and I kind of fell in love with it, so I decided to do a review. I know I'm a sucker for these kind of sweet dramas, but they're so entertaining to watch. They did a good job casting the leads.

The main female lead was so cute and funny with her antics, trying to seduce the main lead, and trust me, she tried many times and failed miserably. Her acting sucked and he could see right through her. Haha! Yet at the same time, she was also a little naive and very trusting of others. Still, I guess that's a good trait for her to have; to see the good in all. She's really to kind. I loved that she wasn't helpless and that she kept a clear head with not trying to start drama with others, even though others wanted to do the exact opposite with her. I loved that she wasn't perplexed about who or what she wanted. She had a goal and worked her way towards that goal, in both her acting career and love, and she sure worked hard for it.

As, for the main male lead... If I had a gorgeous, handsome doctor as my fiancé, I'd be sick for the rest of my life to have him take care of me. (LOL, just kidding). It's was my first time seeing him in anything and my first impression of him is really good. I really loved his stoic expressions throughout the drama, but as the drama progressed, you get to see him loosen up a bit. At first, everyone (his co-workers) were wary around him, since he doesn't smile and he's strict, but when the female leads strolled into his life(literally on a gurney), everything changed. His expressions changed and he became more warm where is co-workers felt more comfortable around him. You start to see his caring side, his protective side, his teasing side, his smile (and it's to die for), you even get to see his jealous/angry/annoyed side (and it's so damn cute).

(PS: I watched behind the scenes with the two leads and it's quite hilarious and a bit adorable! I guess that made it even harder to not like the actors because I saw how hard they worked to portray the characters to the best of their abilities.)

What I really loved the most in this drama was the chemistry and progression of the relationship between the leads. With each episode it developed more and more and I think that was one of the main reasons why I kept watching. Them being together changed each other and it was quite noticeable. I wanted to see how much further they would grow, not just individually but also as a couple. I loved the fact that they communicated (a key factor in any relationship), I loved that they supported each other and always make time for each other, given their professions. I loved the little risks they took just to prove how much they cared about/loved each other later on, given their circumstance and how they felt about the situation, prior to them meeting without knowing who they were to one another.

The other characters were good and they did their thing and went through changes (good and bad) like any other characters would, but I was more focused on the main leads. They intrigued me the most! :)

The drama was just very refreshing to watch. It was a great binge and I do not regret it. I definitely will watch again.
I would totally recommend this drama to anyone who's looking for or is in the mood for something cute to binge. Just to take your mind off things, or to just watch if you went through a rough ordeal (withdrawals) from watching another drama before. Trust me, I've been there.

This drama changed my mood and made me happy. I'm sharing with you all and I think a little happiness wouldn't hurt. ^_~

This drama was a waste of my precious time. Something I rarely have these days.
I only watched this drama for Yang Mi. I'd watch her in anything. I think she excels way more in historical dramas than modern day dramas. I did not care much for Tao but his acting was not bad at all.

The plot was so-so. It started out okay but it got lost somewhere along the way. Similar to the preceding drama but a little different with some twists and dramatic turns. The leads relationship was a bit unhealthy. It had nothing to do with the fact that the male lead was younger than the female lead. It was the fact that people kept interfering into their relationships and they kept letting it happen. The main lead guy's family as well as the female lead girl's friends. It did not help the fact the the main lead is from a wealthy family so his family is all old fashion and about business. They basically tried to control his life and tie him down but he was not having it.

The male lead was very young, smart and can be mischievous. Him, being young and mischievous was part of the reason why he was an insensitive brat sometimes. He was so immature sometimes. He took out his frustrations on others and hurt them because of the pressure from his family and dealing with the situation involving his mother and his father. It's so ironic how he's so smart yet so stupid at the same time.
The female lead was strong-willed, determined, hardworking and in love for the first time. I loved how she worked hard to try to achieve her goals. Somewhere along the way, I think she forgot why she worked so hard in the first place. She was given a choice and at first I thought she chose incorrectly because she was being irrational, but I sort of understood from a logical point-of-view. She was very mature and she was like a supporter for the main lead even though he acted on impulse and was irrational half the time. Some of the choices she made throughout the show, was stupid, because it did neither of them any good. It just caused more pain, suffering and a whole lot of misunderstandings.

All other characters were annoying. Did not care for them. Well, maybe one character I liked and that was the lady named Rita. She had amazing insight love love and relationships. In a way, she helped Xiao Fei and Tong Wei (The main lead couple). They were cute sometimes and I didn't care that it was an older-woman-younger-guy relationship. They had some chemistry.
There were other potential couples but the writers messed it up. It would have been great to see the other couples rather than focus on the main couples and their foolish nonsense,

There was a lot of nonsense in this drama that didn't need to be in it. I feel like the writers just threw things in the drama to create more unnecessary drama. It became chaotic and a bit out of control. Halfway through the drama, circumstances became more irrational and illogical and half the things that happened made no sense because if one thought about it from a realistic standpoint, some of those situations would not have happened at all leading to such incomprehensible outcomes. I guess the writers were trying to give some sort of "Life Lesson" in this drama. All I got from it was ABSURDITY! It was poorly executed. >.<

I did not like the music as much. Nothing interesting.

I DO NOT recommend and I will definitely not re-watch this drama. It had so much potential and they completely messed it up. I was okay with the ending whichever way, but all the stuff that happened in between was totally unnecessary. 41 episodes of complete crap! Don't waste your time.

This drama will forever be in my heart. The most memorable drama I've seen this year so far and one of the best Chinese Wuxia dramas I've seen. I took so many screencaps, I'm saving them. I'll probably post some later cos I'm going thru a major withdrawal right now. >.< I've never in my life watched a drama past 40+ episodes long that's almost an hour long each. It was a challenge I was willing to accept and I did it. I've never loved a drama so much in a long while to the point where I watched all the behind the scenes videos raw, and the rest of the drama raw cos I couldn't wait for the rest of the episodes subbed. I was hoping DF released all episodes in one go and made it premium so I could finish it but then that never happened. Lol~ Still, 2 episodes every weekday wasn't and isn't as bad as 1 or 2 episodes a week like other dramas. I absolutely love and enjoy Chinese, (wuxia/historical/fantasy) dramas like these. I tend to shy away from these cos they usually end up in tragedy and I don't like watching historical dramas that ends in tragedy. That's a two in one combo I CANNOT and refuse to handle.

The story was brilliant! The synopsis sold me when I saw the words: "Immortals, Gods, Goddesses, and Demons". I'm all for those types of fantasies with magical, mythical being who has powers. I'm a huge sucker for genres like this. Everything about this drama was stunning. From the setting/cinematography, to the actors and their costumes/clothing which was mesmerizing. But what was even more beautiful was the love story. My cruise that had set sail.

The acting was superb. Being a huge fan of Yang Mi was what got me to watch the drama in the first place. But then I saw that Dilmurat, Vengo and Vin, and that really got me more into the drama. Their characters were awesome. But that one cast member that surprised me the most was Mark. It's my first time seeing him in a drama and I must say, I was highly impressed with is acting. ? He's definitely on my list of favorite actors. ^^ To be honest, all the actors were amazing, even the supporting actors/actresses. Although I don't mind seeing Yang Mi in modern dramas, I definitely love her in these type of dramas. She definitely does shine in them. She portrayed her characters very well. I loved little A-Li~ How could I not mention little A-Li! A bundle of cuteness. All the actors just made it more memorable and awesome to watch.

The Music/OST is utterly beautiful and alluring to hear/listen to. Absolutely loved it. From when there was sweet moments(you'll hear sweet melody) to when there's an epic battle/fight scenes (you'll hear something powerful that goes along with what you're watching, putting you at the edge of your seat)

I will definitely rewatch this and I'm going to start downloading each episode some time soon. I didn't skip any episodes nor did it feel long and draggy, in fact, I wanted more episodes. Lol >w<

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! WHOLEHEARTEDLY! NO HESITATIONS, JUST GO FOR IT. I PROMISE, YOU WILL LOVE AND ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF IT.

I miss everything about this drama already! EVERYTHING! ????? :')

This drama now holds a special place in my heart! It may even be my new #1 fav drama, especially since it's in the supernatural/fantasy/romance genre, which is my fav! The drama gave me great feelings, especially from the characters (and I must say that this drama has the BEST freaking bromance ever!!!). I'd watch BTS of Goblin with Lee Dong Wook and Gong Yoo and they were just an amazing pair. Adding Sung Jae to the mix made it even better. Hahahaha xD The 3 were a riot! ???

I laughed and I was happy. I cried and I felt pain. There was never a dull moment watching this drama, each episode better than the previous. I never skipped an episode, nor did I fast forward anything. Everything about this drama was absolutely stunning. ? The plot (which was somewhat heartbreaking yet beautiful), the characters and their personalities, to the amazing cinematography(which look like it took you to a whole new world), even down the the music (OST). ?

I loved the main characters so much. My ships ??~ It's funny cos at one point, I shipped the Goblin and the Reaper! Hahahaha xD Those two kill me!
Kim Go Eun as Ji Eun Tak was so adorable and smart. I loved how enthusiastic her character was. She's been thru so much and she was still able to smile and be optimistically cheerful and always helped people even when she's going thru stuff. She has such a kind soul. Yoo In Na as Sunny was awesome. She was sassy, beautiful and radiant, like the Sun! ^^ Yook Sung Jae as Yoo Deok Hwa made the whole bromance better. Hahahaha xD I love how they'd tease him sometimes and he'd get mad and frustrated. Hahahaha xD His character was a blessing to the drama, not gonna lie.
I loved how all their lives were intertwined with each other and the twist that came with it all.
There were certain things that would happen that you would not expect and you're just like, @#$%! Lol
I loved the beautiful, breathtaking, heartwarming, heartbreaking, sizzling hot chemistry between the couples. Most complain about the age difference. Who gives AF? They're all adults so it doesn't matter. I didn't think about that when I was watching the drama. The chemistry was there and it was just perfect! ???? I was enjoying it too much to care. lol~

The soundtrack is just wonderful to listen to and very catchy. I don't know how they do it but it's just amazing. OMG! Some of the songs gave me feels and not just because of the scenes they'd play it with, but if you actually listen to some of the songs, it resonated something within you. ???

I waited for this drama patiently and with high hopes and I was not disappointed one bit. My expectations were exceeded. ?????
Were there any flaws? Cos if there were I can't think of a single thing At least to me there wasn't any. A perfect 10/10! I commend the writers for doing such an excellent job with this drama!

The rewatch value is EXTREMELY high for me, because best believe I will download every single episode and rewatch it again and I will definitely download the entire soundtrack and listen to it on repeat. Goblin is a must watch~ You will not regret it! :') ? If you do decide to give this drama a shot, I truly hope you enjoy watching! ^^

just love dramas like these, dramas that are adapted from novels. <3
The title is kinda cheesy cute and will throw people off but It does make sense to the story. ^^
It was a bit hard for me to get into it at first, I'd say maybe 10 minutes into the drama wasn't easy to follow. I had to stop everything I was doing and pay closed attention. Now here's where it gets even more interesting. One huge case with different criminals. You'd think the cases were separate but those big cases led to an even bigger case. Everything was connected and I loved it.

I don't know how it is exactly in the novel and I personally would love to read it but the drama was amazing. I love the main leads XuXu and Ji Bai. I loved how they were when they first met. Ju Bai seemed like a big, intimidating man while Xu Xu seemed like a fragile little girl who wasn't afraid of him. One of the one things I loved was how brave she was. She took risks and wasn't afraid to speak her thoughts. She kind of... hmm.. I don't wanna use the word scare, but she kind of gave me goosebumps and the reason why was because of how excellent she was at reading people and how accurate her analysis was. "It was like she could read minds" or something. She was very adorable tho! >w< Ji Bai (Kai Kai) was very handsome, strong, rough and tends to hides his emotions. I think they got along pretty well. They didn't really focus on the romantic aspect of the drama, but rather on the crime/investigations instead. It didn't bother me at all because the little scenes they showed with the main leads were so cute, I just wished there was more.

Most of the time the drama was very somber, that also includes the acting as well. They made use of silence and I thought is was amazing. Silence speaks volume as they say. The setting along with the background music they played gave me an eerie feeling which had me wanting more. It's one of those doubtful feelings you get when you think everything is cream and peaches and a happy ray of sunshine but you don't know what's going to happen so you can't help but wait in fear that something bad might happen. That's exactly how this drama was for me. I was on edge each episode.
I liked the music especially the opening and ending. I love Xu Xu's drawings that they showed in the opening. It was very appealing to look at and I think it tied in well with the cinematography which was so beautifully done. This drama was really good and I wholeheartedly recommend. ^^

I'm kind of slightly disappointed. :/

In any case, It was great seeing Ji Chang Wook on my screen again after so many years... Lol~ Jk! I thought this drama would be badass and it was in the beginning. I don't know WTF happened later on. Most dramas are usually like that, they start out so damn good but then you don't know what happen. -__-

I did enjoy the story a bit tho. There were like multiple antagonists, or would it be better to say protagonists, antagonists and a tritagonist. I love Ji Chang Wook's character Jae Ha. He was so fearless and I guess a bit reckless too but I loved that about him. He had such a presence that if you saw him, you'd definitely think that he's that one man you should not mess with without facing some serious shit. I hated the change in his character later on but whatevs... He still kicked butt.
Yoona's character, An Na, she played her well. I just wasn't really fond of her character. She literally seemed like a pawn being thrown around and used by everyone. Lmao xD
The character who stole the spotlight was Choi Yoo Jin, played by Song Yoon Ah. Such an amazing actress. OMFG! This woman was savage AF! I didn't hate her and that's probably because I didn't view her as the villain. There were times where I wanted to smack her but when I thought about it, she seemed like a pitiful person when you know her entire story. Could you blame her? She used everything to her advantage and as a woman, seeing her character, I enjoyed it very much because she had men on their knees begging for their filthy lives and doing her bidding. Lmao xD I loved that! >:D It was fun watching her and the other guys go back and forth with each other. Haha~
I didn't care much for the "romance", even tho there were some cute moments and I didn't mind it at all with oppa being all adorably cute, but I was all for the action. :D
There were a lot more actors and they did an excellent job. ^^
Wasn't really fond of the music. :/ Nothing that made me want to sing along, or download or gave me any feels.

I truly look forward to Ji Chang oppa's next project. I heard that he would be doing any more action dramas, I dunno if it's indefinitely or only temporarily. Either way, it would be nice to see him do other roles. Be in a romance drama or something... ^^

I recommend if you're a huge fan of Ji Chang Wook and or YoonA, if you love action and if you like some angst between family, politicians... etc! I'd rewatch, but only to see Ji Chang Wook kick ass and Song Yoon Ah being a boss b*tch! Lmao xP

I'll be honest and say I began watching this because of the poster and the synopsis I read about the drama. The synopsis said that it was about a child got lost in the woods and was raised by a pack of wolves, the king of wolves... Who wouldn't want to watch that?
I can honestly say that it was not what I was expecting. Lol~

The story was good in the beginning, but then I don't know what happened. The drama isn't the best but that doesn't mean it's not watchable. There are so many flaws you can point out, but besides that, it's so cliché and some of it is cute at the same time. It's one of those dramas where you still watch even if it's not the best. Something about it made me kept watching. I guess there were three things that made me continue to watch. One, was the relationship Mi Mi's family had. They were a warm and loving family. They would even welcome a complete stranger into their home and treat them like one of their own. It was touching to watch. Another thing that made me continue to watch was the relationship between the leads, Mi Mi and Ze Ming. I absolutely love the romantic clichés in dramas. I'm a sucker for it. The relationship between them was cute and sweet. In the beginning, Ze Ming was like a child, an adorable one at that, with the sweetest smile that just melts your heart. Mi Mi was able to help him reconnect with old and establish new relationships. This helped him to mature and experience things he's once experienced as a child and even the things he's never experienced before. She had such a huge impact on his life that he couldn't bear the thought of living without her and along the way, she felt the same. They're so cute together. >w<
The last thing that kept me watching was the actor Chang Derek (Ze Ming). Really hard to believe that this was his first drama ever. He did an amazing job, especially with his emotional scenes. Those scenes he did where he had to execute some emotions, he did really well and it was very believable. I love the fact how his character had development. He went from an innocent, sweet childlike person to a mature, and still lovable person who had to adapt to a new environment and be surrounded by people all the time. I also liked An Amber's character, Mi Mi. Others might have found her annoying but I found her really adorable actually. She becomes very shy and cute around Ze Ming and you could tell she loved him very much as he did her. The other characters were ok, I honestly didn't care much about them. Some of the characters became annoying but I did like her parents a lot. They were such warm and loving people. It was nice seeing Chen Katie again since Bromance, but her character seemed the same from how it was in Bromance. Lol~

I absolutely loved the OST. At least 4 of the song were sung by Bii, including the opening song~? I love listening to him sing. I did like the two songs that were sung by An Amber as well. Her voice is pleasant. I liked the ending song that was sung by Dino Lee as well~ ^^

I'd recommend this but if you guys are willing to watch, watch with an open mind and if you can ignore the flaws or at least acknowledge them, I think you'll actually enjoy. Even if some of it was unbearable to watch, I still enjoyed for the sweet and cuteness between the leads and the strong bond the family had. This is one of the very few dramas I'll always have a soft spot for~ ^^

I'm crying my eyes out. Maybe I should have held off on watching the last episode a bit longer. Dear me. Now, it's finally over for me. I truly didn't want it to end. OMG! >w<

One can never have the best of both worlds. There are always choices we have to make. Sometimes choices can be hard and impossible, but we can't run from them all the time. Because of those choices we make, whether it's good or bad, we have to live with them and those same choices determine the outcome of our lives.

I can't describe how much I love this drama. The concept was unique. It was very different from the typical norm of Kdramas. The plot, the characters, everything. I love the twists and turns. It was very unpredictable and I loved that about the drama. The twists were unexpected so it was hard to predict what would happen next. Every single character had an important role to play. The actors did phenomenal to make the story believable even though it had delved into supernatural aspect.
I had 4 endings in mind and the writers went with one of them. TBH, if the writers went with a sad, happy or an unconventional ending, I wouldn't have mind at all, since the drama started out with it being unusual.
I'd love to go into more details but that would be considered a spoiler~ Sorry ^.~

The music was ok. There were some songs that I liked that were stuck in my head. ^^

I'll definitely rewatch this again, no doubt about that. :D

I feel like I understood why W ended the way it did. But I wonder what it would be like with alternate endings...?
I was psyched every week for new episodes and every week, let me feeling crazy because the previews left you feeling helpless and you didn't know what would happen. The hype was real. I guess for most people who were watching the drama weekly like I was, were so intrigued and was enjoying W to the max! The ending really did decide if it would continue to be a 10 or be rated lower.
Give W – Two Worlds a chance. This drama is one of a kind and in a league of it's own to me. It might be the same for you. ^^

I actually enjoyed watching this drama and I was tuned in every week. The story wasn't that strong but the perspective of life was great. Dealing with people, relationships and stuff. A lot of that comes with certain feelings according to certain circumstances, such as love, hate, jealousy, anger and happiness. We can't always get what we want in life and sometimes we just have to accept things the way they are. You can try to change it but if it doesn't work out for the better then it wasn't meant to be.

I was reading comments on DF where everyone was saying how inappropriate the relationship was between PSH and KRW's character, having a student teacher relationship. They were still complaining about it even after the characters grew. I saw nothing wrong with it. It's not like they did anything out of line. Yes, they were really close, more close than a student and teacher would normally be. But so what? I shipped it so hard after they met again, because they seriously had great chemistry.

I'd say this drama could have been cut to 16 episodes but I still watched all 20 episodes without skipping anything. I enjoyed the drama more because of Kim Rae Won. The man is just so incredible. His character was cute and humble. Always smiling and it made me smile all the time. I absolutely love Shin Hye in this drama. I was sick of seeing her with the roles of being a damsel in distress because I knew she could do something even more amazing. It was refreshing to see her doing something new and awesome. It was great to see Ji Soo. He's such a hottie~ >w< I wanted to hug Kim Min Suk and just baby him. He's too precious. I liked his character a lot. He slayed his emotional scene. It was so strong that it made me cry along with him. Lee Sung Kyung is so pretty. I love her eyes. She's good at her job. At first I thought her character was a b*tch but she was just suffering inside with her own family problems as well as dealing with things from her past that affected her presently. Yoon Do's uncle, Lee Sun Ho was just too adorable.

I loved the music. Every song was a perfect setting for the mood. I actually found myself singing along to a few of those songs. ^^

I'd rewatch this again, mostly for Kim Rae Won, just so I can see his cute self smiling so brightly. ^^

Ahhhhhhh~ *Sigh*

After some consideration, I finally decided to watch this drama. I was quite happy when they said a drama would be made. I'm a huge fan of the webtoon and this is one of the hardest reviews I've ever done. God, I don't even know where to start. Haha~

STORY~
Even though I knew what would happen in the drama before I watched it, I still wanted to see how things would turn out. Now I understood what some of you guys meant when you thought about whether you had want to continue or not. The drama started out strong but it watered down somehow towards the end. I was not surprised by how it ended. I thought it would bother me, but it didn't. The most interesting thing–to me about this drama, is not the plot or the the romance between the character, but the characters themselves and I think that overrided the story of the entire drama.. well, that how I saw it.

ACTING~
This drama is relatable to some people IRL, myself included seeing that I'm a college student. You're surrounded by a bunch of people you don't know and you don't know whom you can trust and you don't know who will betray your trust. It was like that with the characters, but it was on a whole other level–psychologically. I can't say I hate the drama, because I do like it and I was captured by how they characters were portrayed (even though the vibe is different in the webtoon). Each of them had flaws. They're not perfect and it's what makes them human. The acting was amazing. I've never seen Kim Go Eun before and my first impression of her is spectacular. I love the way she portrayed Seol. Very down to earth but also not perfect with flaws of her own.
The most interesting characters to me were Jung and Seol, mostly Jung and it's not because they were the main characters. Park Hae Jin played his role as Jung really well. I wonder if it was difficult for him to play a role so complex. I think he did good. How Jung responds to his surroundings is quite intriguing. He's very deceptive and calculating, yet I can't seem to blame his actions or think of him as weird. Things he experienced as a child led him to have no empathy. He's also observant and manipulative of others and even though he knew what people's real intentions were when they approached him, he just went with it and used it to his advantage. He was taught to control his anger and hold it in. That can take a toll on one especially as a child. I think being around In Ha (played by Lee Sung Kyung–she was amazing, btw) and In Ho made things worse. He came to trust In Ho but his trust was broken and that made him snap. I can't really blame In Ho still, cos it's who In Ho and his personality is quite rough around the edges which leads him to say things sometimes that might offend others and he could care less. Same could be said about In Ha. All the little things from their past left them with many scars. To be honest, I think Seol is a perfect match for Jung and it's not because I think they're cute as a couple but I think it's Seol who pulls him back when he's standing on the edge and reminds him that if he wants to, he can be different and kind. And he can be. Just look at the way he smiles/laughs when he's around Seol... when he hugs her, when he holds her hands, when she gave him presents–whenever they're together. He seems more sweet and child-like. He even voiced his dislikes and got angry. It's as if as a child he couldn't experience certain things and when he's with Seol, his childish side comes out and it's cute AF! I think Seol and Jung are alike in some aspects and that's one of the reasons why somehow they're drawn to each other. Whenever Jung moves, so does she.
I do loved me some Bora x Eun Taek! (played by Min Ji and Joo Hyuk) OMG! They were cute too.
All the actors did extremely well.

MUSIC~
I liked the OST. Very mellow and soothing to listen to. Some of the songs were just perfect for some of the scenes. ^^

OVERALL~
Overall, it wasn't that bad but this drama is definitely not for everyone. Still, I enjoyed the ride and I'd watch it again but disregard the ending. Lol~ I feel like because the webtoon is still ongoing, they felt like they couldn't exactly end the drama a certain way, so they left it sort of 'realistically' open, but I would have loved to seen something with the main characters. I dunno. This drama feels very rare to me and I wish it ended some other way. I guess it all depends on the person who watches it. You may or may not like it. ~

This is from my view of the show and my opinion. Some may agree, some may not...
This drama begun last year but since it was completed this year, I'm counting it as a (2015) drama.
This drama is the most highly addictive drama so far, this year. An excellent drama at that too~ I usually tend to not keep up with currently airing dramas for some reason. I'm either a few episodes behind or I just wait until it's completed to marathon the rest. Not this drama. NOPE! I kept up with every single episode, every painful and long-awaited week and it was worth it! (You guys who have not watched this yet won't have to wait painfully like I did, you can just marathon the whole thing.) xP

The overall plot was cleverly well-done in nearly all of the crucial, sweet, and fun moments.

I had high expectations because Park Min Young (Chae Yeong Shin) and Ji Chang Wook (Healer/Seo Jung Hoo) but they completely exceeded those expectations in every way. Their interactions and chemistry were second to none, perfectly put together in fun, silly, casual, dangerous, and romantic/cute moments. I'm glad it didn't focus on the romantic aspect a lot like how most dramas would. I loved that. PMY did her role very well. It was believable and adorably cute~ Ji Chang Wook.... dear god! Don't get me started on this guy. He is such a bias wrecker! (^u^)~ He's one amazing actor. I noticed in most of his scenes, he uses his eyes to act as well. So brilliant! I loved every single episode/scene with him whether he was was with Yeong Shin or not. He made me laugh, cry, and scream... Hahaha xD Yes, SCREAM!!! His character was complicated but when you watch, you'll understand why~

It wasn't just them who made the drama fun to watch. The supporting casts too~
Yoo Ji Tae (Kim Moon Ho) || Park Sang Won (Kim Moon Shik) || Do Ji Won who played CYS's mom || Kim Mi Kyung (Min Ja/ajumma), Oh Gwang Rok (Healer's Teacher), even Park Sang Myeon (Chae Yeong's dad) made this drama extremely awesome to watch! Out of all the supporting casts, Kim Mi Kyung was the best for me. Hahahaha xD That woman killed me. She played her part so freaking hilariously badass! xD Lmfaooo xD I loved her! xD Quite memorable characters!

The OST was just perfect! Every song fits perfectly with every scene. Even the english songs too. I already downloaded most of the songs! Haha! xD The instrumentals sounds so beautiful, even Ji Chang Wook released a single. OMG! When you hear his voice, you will immediately have an eargasm!

The entire team did a fantastic job on this drama. It was well written and well directed. I highly recommend this drama! I wish it didn't end, but I'm definitely going to watch it again after I download every single episode! :D
If action/thrillers with some drama and romance in the midst of all that is your type of drama, then you won't be disappointed one bit. I certainly wasn't. Give it a try! ^^

I don't know why I decided to watch this but I did anyways. Oh... wait! It was a video on youtube of cute compilation scenes that got my attention!

I must say, I absolutely enjoyed this drama. I guess it's biased to say it's great and I love it although some may not like it cos the story isn't really life-like, It's all cliched and is somewhat of a fairy tale. I don't care about that. This story was a bit different from others. It felt real to me. I don't know how to explain it but the cuteness from this will melt you! When I began watching, I wasn't sure if I should continue but I'm glad I did and once I decided to, I couldn't stop watching.

I didn't really dislike anything about this drama. I loved it in fact. I'll give a few reasons why. About the girl, Shan Shan. She's like a small town girl who didn't grow up in riches and all that. When she moved to the big city, that all changed when she met "Big Boss" Feng Teng. I loved her. She was adorably cute, simple and wasn't like other typical females in other dramas. She had her own principles when it was about certain things, she was tough and brave. (Although she had her vulnerable moments) She didn't let people walk all over her, didn't let people's opinions about her changed who she was, didn't let the fact she was dating a rich president of a company changed her into a greedy sly fox or anything like that. She was still the same old simple Shan Shan who loves to eat. Haha~ and I mean this girl LOVES TO EAT!!!!
Still, what I loved the most about this drama was that it felt real to me. It wasn't too complicated and full of drama like most, yet it wasn't easy and simple either. In between maybe~ This was the type of drama I was looking for. It was fluffy, cute and just perfect. This drama melted my heart, mind and body all together into nothing. I swear... every time Feng Teng touched Shan Shan, caressed her face, pinched her cheeks, and kissed her, I died. I was screaming in almost every freaking episode!!!!!
It wasn't just them. The other couples too, but mostly the main couple~
Cuteness overload!!!!!

The cast was awesome! I didn't hate any of the characters to be honest. They were all great. Apart from one of the characters, I never liked her in the beginning, but she changed a lot. I didn't hate her, it's just that she let her emotions get the best of her. I liked her later on though. You'll know who I am talking about when you watch this. It was my first time seeing these actors in a drama before so I can't really say they sucked or anything like that. It was a damn good drama and they were great. Zhang Han was so damn hot and Huang Ming was cute. The female actresses were looking great and Zhao Zanilia was the most adorable of them all~ Hehe ;)

The music was good. I even heard a song from the City Hunter OST. Haha~ It was good. :D

Overall, it was a great drama (for me) and I definitely will watch it again soon! I recommend this. If you like adorable, fluffy romantic dramas with a bit of drama and will make you laugh, cry, but mostly squeal cos of all the cuteness, then this is the drama to watch. I was never bored. It was so good that I finished this in 24 hrs. It didn't drag nor was it fast paced. It was just right.

That's all I have to say~ GIVE IT A SHOT. It won't hurt. You may even like it ~ (^_^)/
