I love this drama. The love story between a mother and child, friendship, family, and lovers is so well written, directed, and acted. I was skeptical of the chemistry between the leads at first because of the 15 year age gap, but I was absolutely wrong. Their love for each other is palpable. Although you would think that this drama is sad (and it is sometimes), I was left with a feeling of optimism. Live your life to the fullest because you never know if you have one day, one month, or years. The story does have typical Korean troupes such as rich, jerk man falling for poor, optimistic woman, but they are written in a way as to not interfere with the depth of the story.

Uee is phenomenal as Kang Hye Soo. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed her performance and I was completely invested in the character. Where did Lee Seo Jin come from? I have never seen him in anything and I am wondering why. I can see why Hye Soo fell for Han Ji Hoon. He felt real. With all the fake in this world, that is my highest compliment. All the other actors are good also. Shin Rin Ah is totally adorable as Cha Eun Sung.

I enjoyed the music and have downloaded some of it.

I may rewatch this sometime.

If you enjoy dramas that are uplifting, then I think you would enjoy this. It is reminiscent of the drama Scent of a Woman which I also highly recommend.

Local Hero is an OK drama. It was hard getting through the first 5 episodes, but it got better after that. The story is interesting and for the most part well written. Beyond being a spy/suspense drama, the neighborhood togetherness and supporting cast stories are more enjoyable. It is weird for me to write that because normally I feel like a lot of characters and side stories are unnecessary in a drama. This time they ARE the story. The whole point is to protect the people and it was nice to get to know the people that are being protected both good and bad. I also liked the dynamics between all of the characters and the character development. It ended as I thought it would.

It was interesting seeing Park Shi Hoo in a drama after his big "scandal". I have always thought he was cute and a good actor. Nothing has changed. Lee Soo Hyuk was excellent as cute, conflicted but loyal Choi Chan Gyu. The other actors are good too.

Yoon Tae Young as Yoon Sang Min stole the show. I know he was a bad guy, but I was totally infatuated with him from beginning to end. He is pretty much the only character that I cared about. I think it was worth watching this drama for him alone.

The music is good in this also.

I won't rewatch this.

If you enjoy community and action dramas, then I think you would enjoy this.

I will preface this review by saying that rom com is not my favorite genre. I wasn't into it for the first 7 episodes. The only thing that kept me going is Rain half naked. However, the story is unique in many ways and the character development is well done. Although it seems convoluted at times, the points come together in the end. My only complaint is that sometimes the story went over the same thing too many times.

Oh Yeon Seo redeemed herself to the people that said she had too much plastic surgery and couldn't act in Shine or Go Crazy. She payed Han Hong Nan in a very believable way. Lee Ha Nui who was also in SOGC. I didn't enjoy her acting in that, but I think she was much better as Song Yi Yeon. She is really pretty and I like the tone of her voice. The other actors are good too. Rain did a great job mimicking Kim In Kwon's mannerisms. Oh Dae Hwan was scary as Na Suk Chul. Overall everyone did a good job.

There was some good music.

I will never rewatch this.

If you like romantic comedy with a supernatural fun, then this is the drama for you. And for those of you like me who mostly avoid this kind of drama, I think this is one you should try. :-)

Regardless of the hype DOTS received, I will try to write this review with my normal analysis.

I don't get it? So, the plot is that dating a soldier is really hard because they could die? Maybe the writer wanted it to be a kind of slice of life thing. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of cute and romantic moments and not just with the lead couples. There are some nice supporting characters and I usually don't enjoy tons of extra characters. This drama is the exception. Without the extra dynamics of ridiculously good looking guys running shirtless, star cameos of Lee Jong Hyuk, Yoo Ah In, and Lee Kwang Soo, Song Sang Hyeon chasing Ha Ja Ae, the adorable kids they helped, and the earthquake emergency, etc., then this drama wouldn't have a story. I did like the story line of the "far away friend" the best. I'm not saying this drama is horrible or anything. I actually enjoyed watching it for the most part. I would have rated it higher if episode 15 had been cut from the drama.

Of course the acting is good. Everyone did a great job. My only complaint is David McInnis. Is he not like from the US? Why does he talk like a robot that can't speak English? He has got to be one of the worst actors. Hell, Song Hye Kyo did a better job of speaking English naturally than he did. I think she did great speaking with Ri Ye Hwa in English. I will stop my rant here.

The music is really good. I almost gave it a higher score for that alone.

I will never rewatch this.

If you want to watch a drama with no rhyme or reason, then this is perfect.

Chronicle of Life started well, but ended with complete boredom. The premise of the story is good, but the execution was lacking as the story went round and round. The upside and difference in the story is that a majority of it happened outside of the palace and there was less bickering between the women than in other dramas like this. Rest assured that there is some bitterness between the courtesans and of course the mother and grandmother, but it doesn't take up the entire story. One plus is the excellent love in this drama accompanied by cheesiness and cuteness. I like those parts.

I will just be real here. The ending is stupid and at that point I just didn't care anymore. I didn't feel anything for the main characters and was irritated with the writing of some of the other characters. I wish I could post spoilers, because I have some lengthy complaints. I scored COL a little higher because I didn't hate it and I love the cinematography, scenery, and costumes. Plus, the acting wasn't horrible.

I admit that I am a huge Lau Hawick fan, but I felt like he wasn't into his character as the Emperor. I also didn't feel the chemistry between him and Zheng Shuang as Lin Lang. They did have some really cute moments that made me smile. I felt more for Zhang Vin as Rong Rou and Zhang Edward as Chang Qing. I loved the characters and the actors. I felt like Chang Qing was written incorrectly at the end. His character would have made different choices for his love of family. Rong Rou was a beautiful character and I loved him most of all. The acting of the women was good also.

As I listen to the music it reminds me of a different song, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It is making me crazy.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't necessarily recommend this drama. If you like this genre, then it is an ok watch.

I am a fan of Makjang and revenge dramas, but this one has something lacking. I can't put my finger on it exactly. I wasn't emotionally invested in any of the characters except the little girl and Kang Il Ran and the drama wasn't about them. The main characters were just too boring. After a while I didn't care that much about anything except Kang Il Joo getting what she deserves. I can't post spoilers, but the ending left a lot to be desired. The characters were complex and there was pretty good development. The plot wasn't too convoluted considering the genre, but it felt like it went round and round over the same thing. I finished it because there is also something intriguing about it. I don't know if this review will be helpful because even I feel wishy washy about it. LOL

The acting is fine. Nothing to get excited over though. I'm learning to hate Cha Ye Ryeon as this is not the first crazy woman she has played as Il Joo. She is really good at it. :-)

The music is appropriate and doesn't suck.

I will never rewatch this.

There are some better Makjang/Revenge dramas out there, but this one is an okay watch.

Finally...an excellent drama for 2016. The writing and directing is above par. I am not into detective dramas, but this is an entirely different level. It is one of the better time travel (although no one actually physically time traveled) dramas I have ever seen. The story flows at pace that is exciting and suspenseful. The characters are smart, courageous, and I was fully invested in the outcome of their lives. The directing is gritty and so real that everything seemed plausible. I enjoyed the journey of criminal investigation.

I watched this because of my love of Lee Je Hoon and he did not disappoint as Park Hae Yeong. I felt like he was emotionally involved in the life of Park Hae Yeong. That is the best kind of acting. Kim Hye Soo beautifully portrayed a woman who is strong and passionate as Cha Soo Hyun. Then there is Jo Jin Woong as Lee Jae Han...It s hard to know where to start when talking about this actor. I have seen him in a few other things and I thought he was good then. I fell in love with him in this drama. I was cheering for him from the beginning. Whatever emotion he presented flowed through me and I would find myself angry, crying, or smiling with him. It has been a while since I felt this way about a group of actors.

The music is excellent. It fits well with the story and the action taking place.

I will probably rewatch this at some point.

I recommend this drama to everyone no matter which genre you prefer.

Moorim School is one of those dramas that I'm not sure how to rate. It isn't horrible but there is nothing special about it either. The premise of the story is excellent. There is secret power that brings happiness and everything you ever wanted protected by the good guys against evil. There are birth secrets and the question if love and friendship conquers all. Sounds great, but the execution was just so blah. The dialog leaves a lot to be desired and there is just something missing. I think the chemistry between the actors is fine, but I didn't really care about what happened to any of the characters like I feel I should have. The ending was good though. I actually increased my rating because I liked how they ended it.

I like Lee Hyun Woo and he was good as Yoon Shi Woo, but nothing spectacular. The actors are fine, but nothing stands out as excellent. I think I liked Jung Eugene as Hwang Sun Ah the most.

The music was fine.

I will never rewatch this.

I only recommend this to people that like very light High School type dramas.

I really enjoyed MDGSW at first, but after a while it started to get on my nerves and I dropped my rating because of the last two episodes. Are they kidding me? I am a huge fan of Makjang dramas and the story line is totally unbelievable as they always are. The problem is the progression of the story and the character development. I can't get into everything because we aren't to post spoilers, but some of the characters were one dimensional. Plus, there were so many unnecessary characters that I could have cared less about and they took up too much story time. I have seen better Makjang dramas.

Honestly, what kept me hooked are the women, Baek Jin Hee as Geum Sa Wol, Song Ha Yoon as Joo Oh Wol and Park Se Young as Oh Hye Sang. Jin Hee is one of my favorite actors, because she plays the strong yet sweet parts really well. She is also beautiful. I wanted to find out how their relationship would be resolved in the end. I was sadly disappointed by how it was handled in some ways. Se Young is really good at being a crazy biatch. I hated her from beginning to end. No redeeming qualities what so ever. The other actors are good too.

The music is ok.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't necessarily recommend this drama. There are other better Makjang dramas out there. Hit me up on PM and I will give you a list. :-)

Although OMHE is a typical drama it is well written and acted. I am not a romantic comedy fan, but I enjoyed this a lot. It touches on how important marriage seems to be for women. Honestly, I can't relate. I have never wanted to get married or have children. I don't understand why it is so important. Finding love and happiness which seems to be the moral of this story is more important. I was fully invested in the lives of these four women and I think that was due to the character development. Yes, they have over the top personalities, but that is part of the appeal. Living life and learning and changing made the characters real to me. Everyone makes mistakes, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a happy ending.

Honestly, I only started watching this for Jung Kyung Ho. He is an excellent actor and he did not fail to achieve as Song Soo Hyuk. He was funny with out being goofy, he was corny and sincere. I enjoyed his character the most.
What I liked most about Jang Na Ra's character, Han Mi Mo is that she was honest with herself about her feelings. Even if it wasn't comfortable for her, she still tried her best to face reality. Some people don't even try. Some people hide from their feelings and bury everything until a situation has gone from bad to worse.
The other women actors were good also. Yoo In Na is so cute. It really is hard to believe that she is 33. She looks so young. She is a good actress too, because I totally forgot the other dramas that I had seen her in up to this point.
Kwon Yool is the equivalent of Shin Se Kyung and I didn't enjoy his acting at all. I haven't seen him in anything else that I know of so maybe it is his character. I didn't really like his character that much either. So,,,

I really like the music.

If I ever rewatch this, then it will be to get a JKH fix.

If you like romantic comedies, then this is definitely one to watch.

Madame Antoine is a really good drama as long as you don't take the psychology seriously. I'm not into romantic comedy, but this was mature enough to not get on my nerves. I'm unsure of the point of some of the characters to the story, but I enjoyed them none the less. The premise of the story is good and the experiment is intriguing. It does kind of go in circles some and drags a little, but it isn't boring.

Han Ye Seul as Go Hye Rim is great. She is a good actress and the character was strong and smart. Sung Joon was also good as smart and slightly cold Choi Soo Hyun. I think they had good chemistry with each other. The other actors were good too.

The music is good.

I might rewatch this in the future.

If you like light romantic comedy, then this is for you.

CITT is a pretty good drama. There are aspects that I like that deal with diverse relationships and personalities. I thought the way it is written and directed was well done. Although it has some of the typical story line, not all of the story is predictable. I like a lot of the characters, but it was hard for me to be emotionally invested in anyone except In Ha. Also, my problem is I didn't feel the chemistry between the female lead with either of the male leads. I didn't hate the ending like some people seemed to, but I wouldn't say it was the best I have ever seen.

The acting is what kept me hooked. Park Hae Jin has a way of eliciting sympathy for his character, Yoo Jung. I thought he was totally misunderstood. The other actors are good also, but I think the stand out and steal the show actor is Lee Sung Kyung as In Ha. I love her and her character. Talking about someone who has some deep psychological scars. I never once felt sorry for her though. I felt like she was doing the best she could with the coping methods that she new. Yeah, she lied and schemed to be loved and to get all the things she wanted. I felt like Yoo Jung's father is the one that taught her to do that. He really is mostly to blame for his son and In Ha and In Ho's pain. Plus, if he had taught his son to talk about his problems and deal with things in a conventional manner, then Yoo Jung might be a different person. I hope that isn't to spoilerish.

The music is good.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like psychologically messed up characters, then this is the drama for you.

This is a surprisingly good drama. My favorite genre isn't goofy romance, but I heard good things and decided to watch OMGhostess anyway. I am glad I did. The writing is really well done. The story is tied together nicely. What is interesting is the character development of the main lead character that comes across very realistic. Even though this drama is about ghosts and possession everything seems plausible. I enjoyed everything from the suspense to the romance to the comedy. The only flaw is the annoying sous chef.

Park Bo Young did an excellent job as both Na Bong Sun and Shin Sun Ae. I couldn't believe how much chemistry she had with Jo Jung Suk as Kang Sun Woo. They were so cute and funny together. I also liked Kim Seul Gi as Shin Sun Ae. Actually, I just like Kim Seul Gi. I'm not a huge Im Joo Hwan fan because I find his acting stiff usually. However, he was pretty good in this and actually his scene at the end was great. The look on his face spoke volumes. All of the other actors were good also.

The music is nice and I have already added some to my MP3.

I might rewatch this some day.

I recommend this drama to everyone!!!

I have never seen In Time with You so I am not writing this in comparison. It is really hard for me to rate this drama. I absolutely love dramas where the man loves the woman from the beginning through every thing. Although this drama has that, it is so boring. I don't expect action or anything like that. I have watched many romance stories that I found moving and lovely. I didn't FEEL anything while watching this. I didn't even care if they ended up together or not at the end.

Ha Ji Won and Lee Jin Wook are good as Oh Ha Na and Choi Won. They have a good chemistry and it is fun to watch them fight and laugh. I don't know who Yoon Gyun Sang is, but he is the male version of an actress that is stone faced. He doesn't have much experience. So, hopefully he will get better. Ha Na's parents, brother, and friends help make the drama more interesting and better. I really liked when she would discuss her life with them.

Personal: I gave this drama a higher score because Ha Na and her mother spend the night in a hotel talking and it reminds me so much of spending time with my own mother. I love that scene the most and I will probably rewatch it over and over. I miss my mom, but that episode is some how comforting.

The music is good.

I won't rewatch this.

It is pretty ok as a light romance.

WAC wasn't a horrible drama, but I expected more. The story line wasn't new...rich guy, poor girl. I thought that some of the plots was good in that he helps her because he thinks she is terminally ill. Seriously cute and funny. I would have dropped this though if it weren't for the actors. It was pretty boring at times and it seemed like the writer threw the story line together trying to make it interesting. I can't post spoilers, but this is a pretty regular plot of parent issues that cause the children problems. At least the step-siblings don't hate each other.

Kang So Ra is one of my favorite actresses and she doesn't fail as Lee Jung Jo. Actually, her character was very likable. Yoo Yeon Seok is adorable as Baek Geon Woo and I liked his character also. He wasn't that much of a spoiled rich jerk. Then there is the most lovable mayor played by Kim Sung Oh. ***insert fan-girling here***

The music was nice.

I won't ever rewatch this.

If you are into a light romance, then this is an ok watch.
