Cuteness overload.

What I liked most about this episode is that it focuses on our main couple. Now that the cat is out of the bag and feelings are being laid out of the table .. we can finally start to see how and where they take the next step. Seo Jun!! O.o seriously .. get over it.

Bromance!

I have a weak spot for bromances.. so Jin Rok and Enrique were the attraction of the day for me.. i hate that Cruella.. she looks uglier than she did in My Girlfriend is a gumiho.. guess negative roke does that to people! Park Shin Hye looks cute and adorable as ever but seems like Dok mi has a dark past hidden!!

Wrap it up.

I'm experiencing drama fatigue. I like the storyline, and most of the characters (the lead female is the weakest of the lot, though), but I'm kinda ready for this to end. It feels like this would be better executed as a movie, there's just not enough plot going on to sustain a 16 episode drama.

Not sure where this is going

Let me start with the ending. It was Awkward and weird, a total fail. First of all the guy in black is usually very fast and ruthless, but waits for Dal Hyang to move the furniture and goes down before he moves? When Dal Hyang found them it looked like they were posing and waiting to be seen. I think the ending would've been much more intriguing by ending it at the two meeting up.

Other things that I didn't find logical was the servants reason for betraying them. Also she was able to follow Mi Ryung better than the prince's servant? I'd think the servant would've had more experience in following people around. Jung Yong Hwa's acting (or lack of) doesn't bother me the most but that scene when he discovered the hidden room, it really looked like someone telling him "now open your mouth and act surprised". He opened his mouth but the acting wasn't there :P

Of the things I liked is Kim Ja Jum. He turned out to be not merely a power hungry villain, but with a vision. This certainly adds more danger to his character because a villain with a vision, unlike a greedy one, knows no fear.

Seung Po continues to be my fave but seems to be underused. I want to see more of him! I like the princess and how her relationship with growing with So Hyun. I like how they're using her past with Dal Hyang. This reminder the prince has that she has a man who kept her in his heart for 5 years and went through so much trouble to be worthy of her keeps him more alert of her feelings. That he finds himself always one step behind Dal Hyang when it comes it her is amusing. I don't know what so say about Mi Ryung other that she plays the mysterious part quite well. I like her facial expression at the meeting, full of sadness, resentment and, for the first time, fear.

There is so many things that doesn't make…

There is so many things that doesn't make sense like how come she got legs? I though it's because of the bracelet but obviously NOT. Also how quickly the mermaid got use to have legs ;)

Why do the intro with the past if in the end she didn't recognise him :(

Let's see how it's all gone turn out in the next episode ;)

The drag

childish jealous brat, clueless mom, and stupid "villains" that pulls the same tricks....

the plots stuck and the supporting characters are just roaming in circles and getting more childish.

Like seriously why is everyone thinking about themselves! Just move on already!

spoilers within due to re-watch

Enjoying the fun Xu Feng-Jin Mi interactions a lot. You can already see that he has a huge soft spot for her since episode 2 with the way he's always smiling at her antics and humouring her outrageous behaviour. He's also quite protective of her and is definitely keen to use the smallest excuse to keep her by his side. They're adorable here - like two frolicking puppies. All the Jin Mi's bookboy events from the epilogue are here. Also appreciating how they are dropping early plot-hints about Run Yu's mother and the Rat Immortal's involvement in the whole revenge setup. Flower Realm did not want to get involved (well done to Chief Zhang), but clearly one of the other flower leaders was lured by the promise of vengeance, which later led to the birthday banquet fiasco. And I just realised how Run Yu found out that Jin Mi is close to Xu Feng - it was from the Moon Immortal who leaked it out. Didn't think too much of this scene in the past but Run Yu did obtain valuable information here. He knew Jin Mi was a female and now she's in Qi Wu Palace as one of Xu Feng's attendants. Potential chess piece material. Was also discussing this with someone else but I had always been wondering why the Emperor has been dallying over appointing Xu Feng as the Crown Prince despite urgings from the Empress and Xu Feng clearly being the favoured son. It was only lately that the penny dropped. In one of the Emperor's talks with Run Yu (after his mother was murdered by the Empress), the Emperor said that only Run Yu had the power and ability to curb the Empress and the power of the Bird Tribe. From this conversation and also from Xu Feng's later conversation about him being happy to live under Run Yu's command because Run Yu was the better person to rule, it's telling that everybody is able to see that Run Yu has the intelligence and strategic ability required to control the balance of power in the court and among the realms. They probably had no idea just how cunning and manipulative he could be but they could definitely see Run Yu's innate talent in this area.Xu Feng is definitely not built to rule, not because he's not smart enough, but I think because his father the Emperor realised that in order to be able to control and maintain power, some element of cunning and ruthlessness is required. This, Xu Feng doesn't really have, because he's a pretty open and honest person who likes to deal with people sincerely and in an upfront way. Xu Feng's natural disposition to trust those close to him and around him makes him open to manipulations from people with hidden ill-intentions, or blind to plots around him. Unfortunately, the Emperor can't name Run Yu as the Crown Prince either because this would probably cause the Empress and the Bird Tribe to revolt and create chaos in the court. So, I think the Emperor must be in a pickle over the choice of his successor, hence the constant hesitations and delays.

THIS IS IT!!!!

This is the kind of stuff that attracted me to the Gifted. THIS is the sh*t. We got the disturbing scenes, the weird stuff and Wave being Wave (love to hate him!!!). OMG this had the thriller vibe on point. Best episode so far. I'm not even missing Pang.

Five Stars

I am all here gushing about Tham`s character and hot looks! This guy can act! He finally surrendered to his urge in kissing Nuch and even confessing his love for her. Such a bittersweet, romantic moment. Both knowing that they love each other, but being miserable in knowing that they can`t be together. Tham is also one of the few Male Leads who refuses to rub his ex on Nuch face, not wanting her to misunderstand despite her being married to his brother,awwww.Tham is such a loyal guy at heart even to the woman he loves, when he couldn`t even do the full dead with Misara at the end of the episode. Aghhh i feel so sorry for him!

Even though this is a romance, so far it's…

Even though this is a romance, so far it's not the kind where the woman is in a miserable plight and the man swoops in to save her with all his money and flashy looks. I love that Dan-i is strong, independent, and self-reliant even though she's having the absolute worst time, possibly of her life. There are at least two occasions (with different men) where she could easily confess her dire circumstances, at which point they'd probably save her somehow, but she pulls away and decides to have faith in her own strength. Add to that that she's a divorcee with a child, and I'm really enjoying the feminist vibes I'm getting from this show so far. Hope it stays strong!

SPOILER ALERT! [9/10]

A good episode with a few funny and cute scenes, and a twist at the end. I have a lot of theories regarding the ending scene in which the green-eyed lady is looking at the assembly of different moon phases. After watching Twinkling Watermelon, I feel like she's somebody we know. Either she is Taeha's mother in the future, or she's Yeonwoo from another universe. Even if she's not Yeonwoo's other version, I have a feeling she's somebody we know. I'm so happy Sawol is joining Yeonwoo in the present timeline! What do you think happened to her, for her to be transmigrated into the future? My guess is that Sawol was trying to find Yeonwoo and ended up getting hit by a palanquin/horse, that's why she was in the middle of the street. I love their friendship. Although there is a power imbalance, Yeonwoo doesn't treat Sawol as somebody beneath her. They respect each other, and that's beautiful. In this lifetime, I hope Sawol and Yeonwoo can be friends and sisters, and not a master and a subordinate anymore.
