i finally did it!!! finished all 51 episodes!!! it was one of the longest jdramas i have taken on but never underestimate the power of watching one episode a day so i wouldn't be burnt out. i really understand why this was a classic and became a favorite of so many. the duo oshita and taka were sooo stylish in everything they did (and homoerotic too ?). definitely my favorite cop drama so far and i usually hate that genre

I really wanted to like this but the short drama format is really not for me. there was barely any content in every ep i blinked and it already ended. ? it didn't feel like there was an overarching theme as well. it was like they were just figuring the script out as they went?

i can appreciate that this was more of a story about coworkers where the leads just happened to be gay instead of following conventional BL tropes, BUT im ngl at one point i kinda wished they would give me a little something something you know ? thank god there's s2 for that! souta u need to be in full attack mode from now on!!!

can't believe s2 actually got subbed. tbh I hated the first season so I didn't expect much from this one either. I only started this because I like hikaru, but it got somehow better???? I don't agree with the decision to keep the main couple apart for most of the drama, but it actually helped with making the bodyguard plot stronger. hope someone will sub the spin-offs too!

a drama I started early last year but couldn't finish until now, so take my rating with a grain of salt because I forgot a lot during the gap. thankfully the plot didn't move much (and they made it very obvious who the murderer was) so i was able to get back on track quickly. wasn't a good mystery drama but the acting performances from all cast members were strong so i still found it somewhat watchable

what a shame they used ai in this (opening, roof top scene, beach scene) because otherwise it would have been a decent investigation BL with an actual plot. the acting performances were also good as well. i will pretend the last episode didn't exist.

i didn't know what the writer was trying to achieve with this drama at first, but even then i could tell his writing was very distinctive and that it was gonna go somewhere. well, it did and it completely broke my heart (ep 11, but very cleverly layered in humor. although sometimes cruel). beautiful performances from megumi and shunsuke. and i just found out from a comments that the script was based on his marriage life and the drama was filmed in his own apartment.. i feel sick..

it took me 5 years to complete this but I finally did it ??? this was a mess of a series but it was so entertaining (if you're willing to turn your brain off). BE PREPARED to witness some of the most wishy washy people on earth; these people just cant make up their minds about whom they like i swear. in terms of couples i liked:

• jennista and keaton (toxic and not really mutual but jennista was girlboss so i liked her idc :x)

• claudia and JC (rest in peace tangmo I can't believe you died so soon :( and this was kawin's ONLY acting credit on mdl????? anyway they were the least frustrating out of all the couples)

• keaton and simon (a little too boring for me I'm sorry they were kinda hot in the early eps but I basically yawned every time they appeared on screen half way through the series)

• eve danny and lin (the most frustrating and least believable couple/throuple?? of all. i hate these people so much i wish they werent a part of this show. love you praew and pond still mwuah)

im keen on watching other seasons but i need a break from this series rn

childhood series that I finally finished in the year of 2026... I think this could have been a lot better, and I wish that these characters had interacted with each other more :( it feels like each of them was just having their mini arc. but what can I say? I love these kids too much for that to matter. my favorite character is Phu right now (anyone surprised). can't wait to see him again in season 2!

started this drama years ago but I didn't really like the crude humor and the over-the-top acting performances from mai and sky. gave this another try in 2026 and it was the best decision because ive grown a deeper appreciation for it. oh nadao you were really IT. I can see why it was one of the most popular and successful series in 2019 :') I still don't like:

-the damsel-in-distress trope they wrote for tantawan. her character was unnecessarily needy

-the assault scene in one of the early eps. ruined billkin's character for me and i didnt really care for his ass in ep 15

but if you're willing to look past all that then this was a really touching romcom. it's one of the rare instances where i genuinely loved all the characters and i felt for them every time they hit a setback. sunny you are SO GIFTED.

ellis cata I wish I could tell you I have finally finished this drama!! in 2026!! ToT back then I tried but I struggled a lot of lakorns but now I see its appeal! linn is such a terrific actress and she really served every look this drama had to offer omg.... the fashion in this was everything! the more extravagant the more I liked it!!!! this is my first experience with "rainverse" and while I don't think I care for it I liked.... the way they incorporated it into this plot??? it feels like something unique and personal between tanthai and rin yet they weren't overly reliant on their power.

p/s: na your career should have taken off after this...

there are so many things i want to talk about this drama but how can I narrow down all the craziness that happened in this into just a couple of lines??? I'm not even exaggerating literally every scene transitioned to the next bs it was all so.... bizarre and immoral????? it's hell!!! everyone in this drama was a demon living in hell and somehow it was one of the best watching experiences ive ever had

wdym the cast I've grown so much fondness for have graduated and I won't get to see them again in the next season??? I thought it was like a glee situation where they came in as freshmen in season 1 and graduated in season 3 but nooooo. phu I can't believe we have to part ways here when you've become one of my all-time favorite characters. thank you nadao bangkok for breaking so many boundaries in 2014, making really really good music in this season, and bringing so many young talents into the thai entertainment industry (a lot of them have become huge stars and still are killing it today!!!!)

idk why this asadora didn't work on me! on the surface everything about it is what I usually like: period drama, strong heroine, fashion (I come from a family of seamstresses myself), kuriyama chiaki, etc. even the acting performances were great all around but for some reason I couldn't get into the story! call me romance-pilled but the only weeks I enjoyed were when she had a fling with suo-san! the yearning was insane and palpable!!!

love how they mentioned how this asadora was made at the very end! I could see how this story worked for many others but unfortunately for not me. glad I got to watch it nonetheless

started this because of how handsome inn was in the gifsets but stayed because of ongsa's pretty brown eyes as ange once said. tbh I don't think this was a good lakorn. it was kind of basic in a lot of aspects (plot, cinematography, casting, acting) as a BL it did its job ig? I know there's a trend in period BLs recently but I'd like one31 to put more effort into this instead of just selling the aesthetics. every character was just a caricature....

although ongsa's acting wasn't really convincing whenever he cried (and why did they choose to make him cry in basically every episode. it was just too much at one point I started getting irrated!) he was decent in all other scenes I'm surprised! I'm really interested in his future acting endeavors please don't let me down!

p/s: I will never forgive BL fans for turning the coup d'etat against the royal members into an issue of trust, and that "change is futile if the new system is just as bad". OVERTHROWING THE SYSTEM GAVE CIVILIANS HOPE THAT CHANGE IS POSSIBLE, THAT EVERY NEW SYSTEM CAN BE OVERTHROWN AGAIN IF IT HARMS THE PEOPLE. in this aspect, I think the bangkok red opera (2026) did a much better job at portraying and it was a much more memorable moment there. in the edge of horizon it was just ongsa pretty-crying in the middle of the street *rolls eyes(

heard a lot of great things about this drama before and I have to say.... it deserved the hype! and this is coming from a cop drama hater for its criminal-of-the-week structure. hoshino gen was AMAZING in his role oh how I wish that man acted more (without compromising on his music career of course). this is my first time seeing ayano go play such a wild and "wholesome" character?? he was amazing and believable; I'm just not sure I have warmed up to ibuki as a character. he just seems.... comical at times.

I know ibuki and shima make a great team BUT I feel like this drama would benefit from focusing on the whole department more instead of just those two. it's also one of the reasons why I liked abudeka a lot. still, I welcome sequels if they ever plan to make any

I'm sorry for being a metropolis enthusiast because the only part I enjoyed in this asadora was tokyo-hen. the people at the weather forecasting station were all such compelling characters. I was sooo happy to see riko and mamoru growing and developing their careers alongside with mone's. even the shut-in guy at the boarding house (whose face we never got to see btw) was such a well written character. compared to them, the people in miyagi (mone's sister and her childhood friend) were frustrating to watch; therefore, the first and last arcs weren't really my favorites.

it's kinda interesting to me how at times the character riko almost outshined mone, perhaps because riko was more of a traditionally upbeat asadora girl. but then imada mio didn't really do a great job in anpan so idk how that works. maybe mio and kaya should have swapped their asadoras just a thought... I liked kiyohara kaya's performance still

my first old yorudora!!! this drama was so much fun to watch. every joke landed and I genuinely liked all the characters and Sachiko's willingness to pursue the love of her life LOL between all the "love candidates" I think I liked the farmer guy the best! it pains me that the sequel never got subbed otherwise I'd love to see where they took this story next </3

first of all I just wanted to say I confused this with a nino drama so for the first two eps I was wondering where nino was dfjfgkgfk well at least this drama had sakurai sho with his angelic smile so I wasn't too bored throughout. the middle part dragged too much for my liking ToT maybe I would have liked this more if it gave tokio some character development (the name of the drama is literally his name hello???) instead, it was a story about takumi's life which makes sense since he's the real main character but I personally don't care about him.

I don't get why hayato was promoted as part of their friend group when it's clear it was just the trio. and the fact that they managed to get together every day when they all have very professions dfjdjk how did their schedules not overlap?

I wonder what went through kanna's and jonghyeop's minds when they accepted their roles because this is by far the worst drama in their careers. the budget was basically nonexistent (look at the shinigami scenes with the dark backdrop I can't even tell if it's ai or just poor CGI). the plot is eh..... none of these characters have grown by the end; they all remained their annoying selves????? and why on earth did they use that poster to promote this drama when those two probably only spent like 5 minutes together out of 18 episodes????

as usual food dramas don't do anything for me. I don't like the episodic approach for yorudoras since each episode is only 15 minutes. how can you contain your story within such a small timeframe? at least with asadoras you can tell the plot is actually continuous; it's just split into multiple episodes. hope season 2 is stronger since there are more eps and we'll probably get more of their relationship.

I've always thought ubukata miku's writing to be... self-serving, as in she only cares about coming up with cool unique ideas without much regard to telling a good consistent story. she loves coming up with witty symbolisms and overusing them throughout the entire drama. sometimes the dead horse beats you.... there was a moment in episode 5 (iirc? haven't checked) where mitsuru confronted seo and itsuki about the difference between their actions and his, and I was just rolling my eyes out like stop spelling things out to us the audience already. everything fell apart after ep 8 and all the characters started acting out of character to the point where I didn't like anyone in the end. I thought this was a love letter to avoidant and escapist people like me at first but no haha

wow literally episode was so strong until ep 7 what was that. I get that Andou's and Miura's relationship is to mirror that of Freddie's and Mary's, but I didn't get why it was handled like that. perhaps this drama is not meant to make me comfortable all the time since Andou wronged her too. ep 10 did put the story back on the track though.

this is still a good yorudora and a personal favorite of mine :') so many beautiful moments that I can't even begin to name them all because they are all so so personal to me. even down to having fujoshi friend. would I recommend this to anyone? I guess not anymore. would I recommend this to myself in 5 years? YES

I did love wedding high (2022) so I had high expectations for this but this turned out to be a boring drama with no redeeming qualities. the only reason why I gave it a 3 and not lower because it wasn't downright terrible either. just zero high moments.

I'm such a sucker for this secret admirer (? if we can even call him that) trope and we even got the older woman x younger man trope too???!! wish this had a bit more romance to it because the ending felt really abrupt. a special dedicated to them would be great but I don't think it exists......

idk why they keep making more adaptations of ito junji's works when it has been proven time after time his works don't translate well to other media. especially now that the j-horror scene has downgraded so much they should steer away from classics. I'm giving this a lenient 4 because of the more emotional episodes, but the actual horror episodes were so bad

"explaining to the police is something I can do, but I cannot perform like you" is it ever that deep? this is why I don't really like dramas about idols; I find it all a bit too silly but hey if others liked this drama who am I to say it was bad. shiraishi sei has nailed every single role I've seen her in though

this and Renai no Susume (2023) are basically sister dramas to me, although this one was way less funny. maybe the manga version would be better but I won't be starting that any time soon. also I just found out nozomu used to get main roles back then wow

they tried to romanticize stalking HARD and half of the work was done by casting hokuto (very good decision I must say) but unfortunately I was still not manipulated by him :( this "romance" feels very weird to me although I KNOW sota never attempted to harm her in anyway. also I find hokuto's and akihisa's acting kinda stiff in this drama. it didn't feel like they gave this drama their all...

this has to be the most vanilla asadora ever. even omusubi and oshin (which I rated lower than this) had some high moments here and there but this asadora was basically monotonous the entire time? it's weird because one would assume this would be quite dramatic and tear-jerking considering their nursing profession, but I can't even tell you if there was one emotional scene here. sigh I was really excited about this drama since co-leads seemed like a really cool concept. it did a good job at giving both protagonists their own stories even though their screentime overlapped most of the time, which is why it deserved a neutral score.

p/s: the opening song is one of the best at least!
