Hm, after having watched the j-drama a few days ago, the remake feels so... Korean. Well, it is Korean anyway lol, but the exact j-scenes and j-actors come to mind while watching and it's not as superb. It has the visual Korean maximalism, but it's still too early to forge an opinion, just some first impressions. Seol Nae Il has a goofy charm of her own and that's good to my eyes, although "sunbaeeeeee" will never even reach "chiaki-senpaiiiii" xD Franz Stresemann looks cool, like a hipster pimp lol (and not like a grotesque old satyr perv maestro), he's one of the figures i'll be looking forward to see how he works on his character, alongside Yoo Il Rak's chef father (i liked the serial killer look with the butcher knife and then becoming like a drop of honey lol), Il Rak as well, the timpanist and Do Hee cause i really loved her in Reply 1994. As a first impression, Joo Won felt like a common (i won't say average) k-drama male lead, but i'm not disappointed yet, the flow of the series and time shall tell. The fan piano teacher disappointed me though, he was too serious compared to Eto Kozo's rapid neurotic reactions. All in all, as a very first impression on a first episode it focuses on the visuals, the looks and with a bit more seriousness than the j-drama and with Korean humor; in a few words, just Korean :P The memories of Nodame Cantabile are still so vivid!
"Why don't you look at the score? Are you Stevie Wonder?" xD
It felt a bit rushed in the last two episodes, but it's due to the fact that they shortened it by 2 episodes. Still, i loved it, it had quite a daily feeling that was catching your attention without realizing it. I wish it had remained a 16-episode drama, but it still remains as one of my favorites this year.
Loved Discovery of Romance all the way from beginning to end. In the end everyone pretty much realized something more about themselves and moved forward by maintaining more parts in the puzzle of personal truth and being, even Tae Ha with Yeo Reum moved forward bringing their relationship to a new and more mature scale. You know the saying, "all roads lead to Rome", i'm really glad Tae Ha and Yeo Reum finally became each other's Rome.
PS. the moment Joon Ho all of a sudden pauses the movie by thundering the laptop with his foot: priceless.
The more this series progresses towards its end, the more i'm at loss for words, Tae Ha's words sound so divine…
He's an EI super hero or something. In that case, i will be happy to take Tae Ha's place for Yeo Reum when you take her place for Tae Ha, but it's gonna be tough since i'll have to be more Tae Ha-ish, something absurd for aforementioned reasons. But then again, i'll have to find out how to become a fictional character as well; and they lived happily ever after xD

Hahaha, imagine if i wasn't :P Gomawo :D
For some reason Tae Ha's become the main main role, he has a huge impact on the series with his maturity of emotion both in terms of words and actions. It requires an army of Ha Jin's to form a small part of the wondrous puzzle named Tae Ha. He's one of the brightest examples of a man learning from his mistakes and finding the cleanest truth before his eyes at all costs, even though it may hurt. Indeed, letting Tae Ho get away from her it's like throwing away the last moral virtues of manhood's sincerity of emotion xD It's all about Emotional Intelligence. Liked the last comparison, owned xD
Let's hope the wish comes true and that the subs come out sooner this time!
During the middle of episode 31 we witnessed a miracle, a once in a lifetime moment of Park Young Tae's humane side happening twice, firstly with the Iron Butterfly on the phone, secondly with Se Kyung (God, i love this girl).
The preview of the next episode seems intriguing and things will get even more complicated than they already are!
It's so nice watching such episodes with good OST as well on rainy evenings! Woa, it was sweet finding out that…
Woah, i dare say i had forgotten i had asked this, it's been some time, but thanks to you my question has been answered! And that's a hell of a song :D

And i was making fun of it in the past, how would it feel if Night Watchman's Journal would have more episodes xD
