The more this series progresses towards its end, the more i'm at loss for words, Tae Ha's words sound so divine that my mindset becomes blocked. Needless to say, even if i'm prepared for episode 16, i don't want this drama to end!

And the music on the background while he keeps on talking that has a sense of The Cure's "Wish" and "Bloodflowers" albums makes the utter uniqueness of Yeo Reum to his eyes even more fragile and sincere. "If you were in my shoes, would you be able to stay quiet?"

Ha Jin took into consideration Tae Ha's words and he's doing his fair share of trying, he's definitely sincere, like Yeo Reum said it's not his fault; compared to Tae Ha's monologues Ha Jin lacks the fathomless depth, no offense Ha Jin, while you're trying to understand her when your relationship is at the bottom, Tae Ha after having said more than enough he's trying to help her realize her dream concerning furniture by searching for local and abroad exhibitions that would totally help her.

The handshake scene between Yeo Reum and Tae Ha was pretty intense and thoughts about how she finally got to hold the hand she desired so once again and he felt as if it was the last time holding her hand and also that he found out what truly love means and how she realized things about herself and be able to dream once again amongst rivers of memories on the journey between them from the moment they met up again after all these years at Ha Jin's blind date spot. "I think i've gone as far as i could with my heart by loving a woman, i don't have regrets now, because i've done everything i could" and that's how a seemingly simple handshake feels like as if time had stopped for a while!
Ha Jin was devastated after Ah Rim's letter and then the sudden realization of truth of how he was unable to say goodbye starting from his adoption day and about his nightmares and painkillers and how he came to realize Yeo Reum's position, but also that it wasn't only Yeo Reum's fault, but his as well at some points, he could finally say a proper goodbye, if one can see it that way, it's kind of releasing for his inner demons.
And even if Tae Ha's scene by throwing away the rings seemed like saying goodbye, it felt like throwing two coins in a wishing well to me.
Yeo Reum's ringtone was so annoying, but now it's catchy. I'm almost 3 phone calls away from finding and downloading…
Τhat's what i was thinking about Yoona's ringtone on Love Rain as well, it pissed me off totally with that pyororoooong, chonasayoooooo until one day i downloaded it xD
Like i've already said, in the beginning i had in the back of my mind that Shin Se Kyung would be a bad option as a main female lead due to various users' comments. But to be honest, the more episodes i watch the more i like her, she doesn't possess the hyper beauty factor, BUT she portrays utterly well the daily Korean girl with her "common" beauty and acting, well, i don't know if i said it well, but i guess you know what i mean, she depicts a more common daily character and the fact that she's a girl from a poor background (depending on her role) in terms of money it's totally reflected so far in the series. So that's pretty much appreciated from me. She has a more natural flow in her acting and that's what her role asks for, so it's a perfect combination for me.

Well, our opinions seem to differ, but i think that through the series you're a bit too tough towards Tae Ha almost every time something happens :D He appreciated Yeo Reum through her absence all these years, he understood his mistakes and found out how it feels like to utterly love her to the utmost level. And to be honest, if there's a person that understands Yeo Reum and knows how she may feel any time, that person is Tae Ha. And to be honest, there were moments Tae Ha helped Ha Jin keep his secret seeing Ah Rim because he didn't want a foul play and the fact that he left with his car Yeo Reum at Ha Jin's house while he knew he was going to propose to her it says a lot. :)

It's a drama that will be remembered for me. Even if it didn't have a happy ending, some of the characters realized some things, some will be miserable, some will pretend to be happy, some will grow stronger from this, etc. Realistic to the core, it didn't offer release for everyone, it just painted various shades of life on its canvas. Which is pretty much appreciated.

One could say i'd be disappointed because it didn't have the ending i desired, but i'm not. In the last minutes we witnessed all the characters of the story and a sense of the path that lied ahead of them. One could say i'd be disappointed because it didn't have the ending i desired, but instead, a bitter sense of reality was offered, you can call it just life sometimes.
It was a huge shock for Ha Jin, an expected emotional situation under these circumstances. And the way he was pulling her in the streets that was depicted on her feet, he couldn't slow down while time had stopped for him, he couldn't let her arm while they were going nowhere, just nowhere. He treated her feet though, it was a sign they'd communicate the situation in a (seemingly) highly civilized manner, henceforth they did so. Ha Jin, after Yeo Reum mistook him for Tae Ha on the phone, saying that devoid of emotion "i love you" must have felt a cold knife anchoring on his heart. When Ha Jin wanted to hold Ah Rim's hand it came out so naturally to him, but at the same time so naturally he forced himself not to do so, internal battle's taking place. The fact that he takes pills to ease the physical pain is just a sign that what he's feeling has an impact on his body, Ah Rim's sound though could ease the burden for a while and make him feel safe, like home.
On the other hand, i like how Tae Ha pushes Yeo Reum at work, he doesn't want another furniture, he wants to see Yeo Reum through the furniture she'll design, he wants her to remember how it feels creating something with soul, the creator's personal approach, that's the Yeo Reum he adores, the one that leaves her impact on the job she loves doing, the one that leaves her impact. The pictures in the camera.. and the birthday she couldn't stop herself from wishing him; and the memory recollection of Tae Ha's past birthday with Yeo Reum (i loved how his birthday wishes were Yeo Reum centered).
"I want to be Han Yeo Reum. I want to know why you waited for me and i want to know why you cried in Nami island. I also want to know why you cried on the path next to Deoksoo palace. And i also want to know why pictures of me are on the camera too. Because you would never tell me. So i wish.. i could become Han Yeo Reum and find out what's going on in her heart." Someone had to open it, being it Ha Jin (i agree on your thoughts about him) was the way finding out about Yeo Reum's secret. In your last paragraph, that's what i think will happen, they'll take their time apart after a fight and tears, Ah Rim will play her part and a probable come back together for Tae Ha and Yeo Reum shines in the horizon.
In the last episodes whenever Prime Minister explodes i burst into tears of laughter, he howls like a wolf, he throws things around, he acts as if he was drank, hell yeah!
Enjoyed a lot the last 4 episodes (watched in a row O.O), so many things going on and as episodes go by i appreciate even more Se Kyung. In Ae's speech at the court was intense. Can't wait for the next weekend episodes, the preview seemed to be offering a turmoil situation with lots of secrets being revealed. I can't wait for Park Young Tae and Iron Butterfly's punishment on a severe to lethal climax.
