japan has a family subgenre that rather odd or somewhat unique : blood unrelated/ non hereditary family
Home Drama (a classic and underrated/ no one watched it); Marumo no Okite; Mother; The Professor's Beloved Equation, Usagi Drop; Namida wo Fuite, Hito ni Yasashiku, the list goes on and on
XD
Jdoramas also have wide wide range of family dorama variation, you can get from the funny one (ex: Seigi no Mikata) up to the darker one (ex: Soredemo, Ikite Yuku, Yakou Karansha). From the absurd ones like 11 nin mo iru/ Yuube no Curry up to melancholic one (ex: Beautiful Life, 1 Litre of Tears). Asadoras also always have somewhat family genre.
Actually, almost every good jdoramas have a bit of family genre :D
Makes me smile that the stars (Anne & Higashide Masahiro) just got married in real life too...
asadora is aired in the morning, about 08.00 AM ... and it is a traditional dorama that watched by all age range + bring many life/cultural value, so yeah practically skinship is very rare in asadora :D
if you into comedy drama, you maybe like it
if you love jdorama comedy style, you'll like it
if you are an anime/manga lover, you'll like it
if you love jdorama comedy style and an anime/manga fans, you'll FREAKIN' love it
I feel like Kuroki Meisa would've been much better than Haruka. I just feel like she has the "badass"…
meisa is more baddass and a little more beautiful, but ayase clearly has more acting skill and screen presence XD and after ichi and yae no sakura I think she has enough experience to play in some martial art - ish series
:)

I see in your list no Hanzawa Naoki either... so I can safely assume you indeed dont like sakai's 'overacting' acting style...
well, I think I overloaded your PTW list soon, so I'll stop here ... lol
