born as asian drama watcher as jdorama fans, I'm always impressed how kdrama can build an international fandom with VERY little fraction of meaningful and inspiring drama. Do we watch kdramas just to be hypnotized by korean dream and beautiful faces? Misaeng, on the contrary, provide a realism, a luxury in kdramas ...
but just like an autocritic quote from On Air (kdrama) : "who watch meaningful dramas these days?" --- i dont think misaeng can make a new wave of good misaeng-ish and inspiring kdrama ...
How is it possible that it airs every sunday but only for one month? There are 11 episodes stated here... I think…

this dorama, tennoryori airs in TBS, other station ...
japan period dorama = jidaigeki
jidaigeki who aired 50 episode throughout the year = taiga
there are plenty light jidaigeki under 12 episode (include Tennoryori)
One of the best dramas this season I've seen so far .. no cliched romance, no dramatic turn of events , no flashiness…
its just 3 episodes, it wont waste your time ;)
and its not historical :) the setting is modern everyday japan; well ... MDL sometimes wrong , isnt it?

kimutaku's past glory is clearly because he always has a great actress as partner to make a perfect chemistry ...
but I think you must try 3-4 episodes of this :) I think I'm home slightly better than mr brain- priceless - tsuki no koibito. Fairly predictable, but have some potentials
