Five Course Meal
I am surprised by myself because I really love this series. Good thing I put it in my PTW couple of months ago, or else I would not have watched this because the ratings and reviews were not very promising.I was biased towards this series mainly because it's about food. However, when I started watching I was immediately hooked. The eye to eye contact between the two main characters conveyed a lot of emotions. The music was soothing and the slow pace was necessary to enjoy and experience the moments. Like chewing your food slowly and enjoying the different flavors in it.
For me, watching 'Bite Me' was like eating a five course meal. The soup would be the all actors with impressive acting skills. The appetizer would be the different subplots and relationships between and among the support cast. The salad would be the wonders of Thai cuisine and history that were perfectly merged into the plot. The main course is of course the budding relationship of Aek and Aue (I still don't know how to pronounce his name). They can stare at each others eyes the whole time, I really won't mind. The kiss at the end of the series was the dessert.
I am full satisfied and so full (of love) after watching this.

A MEH Love Story
I was attracted to this drama because of the good rating (8.6 as I write this) and fairly good reviews. I completed the whole drama but I’m left totally underwhelmed. The drama started out quite interesting and fun but after the first five to ten episodes, the drama watered down a lot and was quite slow with nothing much going on.
This drama is essentially a long-drawn love affair between the leads and it is long. This drama could have been done in 2/3 of its length. Nothing exciting really happens. It comes across as a fairly childish drama with close to zero plot.
For me, an 8/10 and up means that the drama is good and should be watched. For this drama, I only give it a 7/10 because the two leads are cute. They are good-looking and have somewhat good chemistry. Apart from this point, the other actors and actresses aren’t really good at their craft. The plot is dull. The songs are forgettable.
My verdict - spend your time on another (better) drama.

Best lakorn, smart storyline
I dont know why this lakorn just get value 7.6 i think this is the best lakorn. It is revolusioner lakorn. The story line is smart. It is not like older lakorn which is just contain slap and kiss, and boring story about the poor meets the rich. So wayree gives a new sensation of lakorn. The story was smart, logic and makes me excited to watch the next episode.I have rewatch this lakorn 5-7x indeed... i feel the acting was good. I was crying when kem n mook meet again. Or when mita admit that parin was the father of the child.
I love this lakorn so much.
And i think i must clarify that in episode 1 parin and mita has one night stand, parin is not drunk. Parin 100% awake. He thinks that mita was a prostitute, because mita's friend sold her to parin.

I don't really know what to say, I just watch this drama for the rom-com. lol
But... this drama represents those fangirl/fanboy of kpop, which was funny and good, they gave us like the background of the reality of being a celebrity and how they are the same as us, human-being. We get hurt, become sad and yediyada
But ye, that's all. idk. xD

I am really surprised at the low ratings in MDL for this “rom-com”. It strikes me as being as worthy as a Secret Garden or BOF. Granted the first 2-3 episodes are rather lame and cheesey, as it outlines the future storyline, but picks up by episode 4 and from then on, it certainly keeps the viewer’s interest. I especially loved the OST, “Never Say Goodbye” (taken from Symphony #40, Mozart /Mario & Nesty).
The storyline is good and with a strong cast, the drama unfolds, gripping the viewer right to the very end. As was said, in other reviews, it does get a bit laggy in final few episodes, but doesn’t render it unwatchable. The final episode delivers 100% as well as episodes previous. And the excellent choice of music and the Awesome OST made me love it more. I can see why, when it originally aired, it pulled in such high weekly ratings from television viewers.
Honestly, I can recommend this “drama” and in my books it has earned the right of being a classic, along with SG & BOF. (with a worthy 2nd lead) I have changed my initial rating of a 7 to a 9.5, as I can now appreciate all that goes into making a drama a classic with a high re-watch value.

Average Drama With A Couple of Cons
At the start of this Kdrama, it was really promising but it moved kind of slow. It wasn't bad because we were still learning the background of the story and it was getting into its flow.I loved the premise of the anti-fan. I was craving a Cold Rich Male Lead drama and this hit the spot with extra brownie points. However, what irritated me to no end was how the second FL (2FL) had more chemistry with the ML than the actual FL. (spoilery) They invested so much time in the backstory of ML and 2FL I actually started to like them more than the main couple.
Every single character was so spiteful and vindictive that it was painful to watch. It felt like the characters were playing the game ' Who can be more hurtful and self-destructive than the other.' Every character was either mean-spirited or had no self-awareness. but man even with all my complaining I was HOOKED and could not let go.
Overall I enjoyed my time watching it but probably would NOT choose to watch it again.

-Eat it when you're hungry!
For generations, recipes and methods of cooking have been passed down in each household, region and by extension, the country of origin. These dishes and how they are prepared are what makes each of our countries unique and independent.
Le Grand Chef is the story of culinary vengeance, friendship, love and expression of art in cooking. This movie was most definitely a wonderful and touching one, not only to food lovers but to persons who value the true meaning of people in our lives.
This movie will make you laugh, cry and laugh some more!

not a fluffy series like the trailer indicated
Overall: I had to adjust my mindset when the first episode took a dark turn towards the end. Although the series had promise, it had too many characters/plot points with not enough run time. Watched on Gagaoolala.Content Warnings: (not between m/m ship) stalking, non con taking photos, violence, manhandling, teacher/student relationship between side characters
What I Liked
- some cute moments
- the opera music on their date
- the release schedule of 1 episode a day for 6 days, makes it easy to binge if wanted
- production value
Room For Improvement
- the idiocy of not telling the police right away (also that they all relax and think it's solved when it's not...)
- why does Ro-A like Ji-Woo, we don't even see a "love at first sight" scene (we finally see one in episode 5, I'm still not satisfied)
- love triangle/s
- weird plot with the other female classmate and the professor
- super cliche ending makes me want them not to be together

Lately, I've been feeling this urge to whittle down my material possessions. Why do I say this here? Because seeing Miso lug around her suitcases while dealing with homelessness but remaining calm and collected is making me double down on that feeling. Why do we think we need so much stuff? Miso leads an unconventional life. The rising costs has her cutting down on expenses. She needs a place to stay. She stays with friends who have normal conventional lives - marriage, family, career, nice living arrangements, money. But as viewers we are made to question if unhappy or discontented people stuck in the conventional trappings of life are any better than people who seemingly have it worse? Why is it okay/better/smarter to choose a house over cigarettes and whisky? I mean, yes, there are going to be many arguments for a safe, secure living quarter. But I think the bigger question should be why is everything so expensive and why should people who make less money have to struggle and scrimp and save all their lives and forgo what they enjoy just to have a roof over their heads, medicine, and food? Life is hard enough as it is. I'm happy Miso enjoys her smoke and her drink of whisky.
The director did a great job with this movie. Each character was interesting to me. There's so much we can talk about, discuss, ponder over because of this movie.

However at the later part of the movie, I felt that there were too many things that they wanted to bring forth as a "twist". That made the plot a little complicated, illogical and long-winded. I felt that it was a rather disappointing ending, especially since I was very captivated at the beginning.
I thought that the cast were very good. Lee Si Young and Uhm Ki Joon were really good. Even the supporting actors like Moon Ga Young, Kim Hae Hyo and Kim Ji Young were fantastic! I have no complaints whatsoever for their acting!
Overall, I expected more from this movie and I was disappointed with how they wrapped the story up. However, if you're looking for an uncommon kind of horror movie, maybe you would want to check this out.

Extremely Underrated
One of the most extremely underrated dramas I've watched. Argon is near to pure perfection. The story considering it's episode size was intensely gripping and emotional, so easy to watch and follow yet still the plot has a lot of substance with it, the chemistry between the cast being phenomenal, and an OST that was unbelievably catchy that I just want to listen to the OST forever and ever, replay it in my mind over and over!I wasn't expecting much with Argon but now I can say it's one of my favourites. I can't believe hardly anyone has watched this drama! This makes me upset for two reasons! 1) This drama is simply so amazing it deserves the recognition, and 2) There probably will never be a second season :(
ARGON. AMAZING.
