In terms of the acting, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of pretty much every performance. What originally piqued my interest in the drama was Park Hye Soo's portrayal of Eun Jae. Most times I find that actors playing socially awkward characters always fall short for me, as in I can just tell they're trying to act awkward. Hye Soo, however, had me convinced by the first 20 minutes that she was legitimately the shyest, awkwardest person on the planet and I fell in love with her character. The way she interacts with her fellow housemates and classmates is just so adorably bumbling and so believable. The performances by Han Ye Ri, Ryu Hwa Young, and Han Seung Yeon were equally as impressive. Who really impressed me though, was Park Eun Bin. This drama begun my love affair with Park Eun Bin and all of her work. Just the pure confidence that she brought to Ji Won made her my favorite character throughout the entire series.
In terms of the story, there were strong and weak points. I loved each and every one of the romance lines. I thought every couple had an unreal amount of chemistry, especially Jae Wan and Jin Myung. The crazy situations and quarrels that all the roommates find themselves involved in just creates the most fun, lovable atmosphere that anyone who has or had roommates can relate too, and there were often points where I found myself legitimately laughing out loud. I will say however, that parts of the plot did seem a little disorganized. I feel like the supernatural element, as well as Eun Jae's backstory were either not explained well enough or just didn't fit in to the story as well as other storylines. I also felt like it was wrapped up quite quickly in the last two episodes and a lot of loose ends were left open for interpretation. I'm assuming this might be due to the second season, so it doesn't bother me as much.
Whatever Age of Youth lacks in story, it makes up for in music. I don't usually cry watching kdramas, but there were quite a few scenes that made me shed a few tears because of the beautiful music choices. Every song was so beautifully matched to scenes and just elevated the storytelling. The soundtrack itself is beautiful and I highly recommend listening to the entire OST on its own, but it really did complement the tone and the feeling of the drama. Even now that i've watched however many more dramas, I still haven't found a show that quite matches the effect music has in this one.
I haven't re-watched the show yet, but as soon as I finish season 2 and have some time I am definitely planning to. I truly feel that this is a drama everyone should watch at least one. The heart warming friendship, laugh-out-loud comedy, and wonderful soundtrack just can't be missed. I would highly recommend this drama.

Now, let me start with the acting, it was absolutely well done. These are professional actors who know how to do their job which I also give credit to the behind the camera staff for.
However, as soon as I got into the story I was confused from beginning to end on what was happening. I believe they tried to explain with symbolism, but honestly kinda of bored me to death.

Here golf is suffering from PTSD and bcoz of that he is mute to all. He never speaks or never comes out of his stress. But Gypsy is the doctor who treats him when he tries to suicide himself.
She wants to help him bcoz she also experienced this stress when she was little girl. So she determines herself to make him better. She goes golf’s home and try’s to change him. But he refuses to the change at first.
After a while, he tries to stop himself from getting into the stress and he hears her. After struggling he gets better and he starts talking. I really loved to hear his voice after three episodes. And I feel relieved that he got better.
Story - good
Acting - very good
Music - is ok
Rewatch value - I will rewatch. Bcoz I like medical story’s which gives hope
I recommend it if u like medical story’s and golf and gypsy.

Well first of all, I didn't think that the story would be filled with a dark and mysterious theme behind the main plot. The start of the drama was a bit rough, but the story picked itself back up after a couple of episodes. The story was very unique, actually and quite enjoyable to say the least. If the directors manages to combine several completely different genres of drama and make it easy-to-watch, then personally, I consider the series worth my time. However, what I found a bit disturbing was how quickly some of the characters recovered from the shock of the events in the past. That's the part where I thought it's unrealistic.
Now, what I really LOVED were the characters. The main actors - I've been familiar of them in some of the other dramas. Their roles in Introverted Boss completely blew me away! One of the reasons why I started watching this drama was the actress Park Hye Soo. Her character in the drama Age of Youth was one of my favorites! She's so talented and precious, but I didn't enjoy her character in this drama. I guess she was just so annoying and talkative, but that's just her portrayal and once again, it shows how actors can easily switch roles from a timid person to a hyperactive human. Yeon Woo Jin, on the other hand, completely mesmerized me with his performance. The only character that I had in mind when thinking about this actor was this rich, stubborn plastic surgeon from Marriage, Not Dating. Hwan Ki, the male lead in this drama, was a shy cutie patootie! I could relate to his character so much and he was definitely the highlight of this drama! Not to forget Yoon Park as well - a recently discovered actor on my list, but super talented and diverse.
One thing that I've noticed in the drama was that songs were constantly being played like every 2 minutes, especially towards the end. I get it and admit it - the OST is beautiful, worth the listen, but sometimes it gets really annoying.
So, if you're a fan of office romance dramas, this is a unique one to watch. It's not perfect, but I think it teaches you a thing or too just like any other great drama.
Don't hesitate to watch this if you have plenty of time on your hands.

I felt that the lead actress wasn't at her best and that her male lead was picking up the slack and I also didn't like the way Simba turned out but I loved that Shihuan stayed by his side even when Simba didn't deserve his loyalty or friendship. I also felt like Shihuan felt something more than "just friends" but who knows. Lastly, the woman that was literally stalking Junhe was sooooo annoying, honestly I don't even know how I held it together whenever she was onscreen.
I loved the OST.
Because of the reasons I've listed I would not rewatch this season but possibly season one. Great for those who love romance mixed with fantasy/supernatural and a bit of dark stuff.

STORY
The inconsistent and illogical writing is what ruined the drama for me: it almost feels like completely different people wrote the first half and the second half, and that the second writer had no idea how the first writer wrote the first part. So many elements in the story seemed unnecessary and many didn't fit well together in the story. The concept of the drama was great (a man with DID) but the writing simply wasn't good enough to make it into a good story.
Also, I personally find it really annoying when mental illnesses are turned into something almost supernatural (aka however the writer wants it, even if it's inaccurate): it's a topic that is already interesting as it is, and the need to add fantasy-like elements (those frickin' fake red tattoos for example) just shows how badly it was written. It's almost offensive to Ji Sung: his acting was perfect enough for the audience to notice the change of personality, and the CGI effects were useless and simply made me cringe.
There are actual real people suffering from DID in this world, and this element itself would have been enough for the story to be interesting. The medical inaccuracy was painful to watch, in my opinion (I know, it's just a drama, but I just couldn't let it go).
CAST
That being said, Ji Sung gave probably one of the best performance I've seen in a drama. He portrayed all of the personalities perfectly and brought hilarious comedy to the show. That's pretty much the only thing I liked about this drama and had to skip lots of the scenes to finish it.
MUSIC
The OST is great, although that one really good song is a bit overused and I started getting tired of it halfway through the show.
REWATCH
I won't watch this drama again. It has some great elements, but it's really overated in my opinion.

The acting was beyond amazing. Lee Boyoung, Heo Yool, Lee Hyeyoung and Go Sunghee gave spectacular performances from start to end, and you really got a great sense of all of their characters and the complicated nature of all of their relationships. Even the more 'support' cast had wonderful performances and not one character was hopelessly thrown in with no real purpose—even the characters you think may have little to no point end up having a significant role as the story continues along. Also special props to Son Seok Koo (who plays Lee Seol Ak) for such a great performance and depth he gave to his character to the very end.
This drama isn't something I can rewatch easily, considering I had to take it in small doses, but it was a beautiful watch and something I would recommend to anybody who wants to see a drama really focused on an issue, with great female characters across the board, and with a story that will touch you to your core.

At first i feel like the actors are still not comfortable with each other. Arthit was strange and uncomfortable in the beginning and later was kong.
The story was plain. The only major event that happen in the whole 13 episode of series is Arthit accepting his relationship in front of people. I really skip the story of the side characters from the university. They were really just boring. There were some cute moments between the lead and those make me keep sticking with it.(But really can't forget those awkwardness.)
Music are not much of my taste but they were okay.
Rewatch value:I am not going to watch it again.

This drama was mildly entertaining. It was like a car wreck where you know you shouldn't watch but you can't help it.
The acting was not the best. They will not win any academy awards for this show. Everyone kept getting hypnotized. It didn't take make to hypnotized Wen Ji the lead. He was getting hypnotized just by hearing a phone ring outside of the door. smh...
As bad as it might sound...I was happy that it wasn't quite a happy ending where everyone got what they wanted.
Music...couldn't be bothered with paying enough attention to it.
Re-watch....watching paint dry or re-arraigning my sock drawer would be more exciting than to re-watch this one.
The female lead....wasn't that interesting to me. She was supposedly extremely busy doing police work but her desk always seemed too darn clean to be swamped.
The hospital should have been the main character in this show. Everyone kept ending up in the hospital. One character was there one day and got discharged the next just to wind up right back during the same day. They get a headache and they would end up in a coma or something.
Cop gets shot in the shoulder and would end up on using a defibrillator and on life support.
It's crazy how the police would allow a civilian to be a part of their investigations in so many of the cases.
I am not sure if this is real since I am not familiar with it but it seems that prisoners are dressed as if they are in a vacation resort. They have shorts on with colorful shirts. I guess I am way too used to the jumpers worn by American prisoners.
All in all...I wouldn't recommend this even if you were bored to death. Even if this was the last show on Earth you had for entertainment...you should go play in traffic which would provide you with more excitement and thrill than this show.

Mayornnaise
One of the romance I've liked the most. Notice here : "I've liked the most" and not "the best I've seen".City Hall is like a very pretty gem hidden in a little cave lost in the middle of an unknown forest.
And as such, this korean drama is a little more demanding from its viewers, and while to me it's one of its strong point, I can understand it could be hard to some.
First obstacle : Silliness. There's perfectly assumed silliness, in this tv-drama. This aspect is essential to its comedy theme, and the female character is almost perfect in its role, leading the viewers - and the male lead - to progressively fall for her and her crazyness traits. Well, it's OK to create 'larger-than-life' characters, but at this point, that's also a way to discourage some people as it can also bring the whole show on its knees, at least to some viewers, since it's not exactly matching the very adult topic of the drama : politics.
Now while politics in this drama happens to be the main setting, I think it still only serves the backgrounds of the story to be told. You would be very wrong to dismiss a tv-show that also emphasizes a very sweet and touching romance, especially if you're specifically looking for one.
And to convey this romance, the two main lead have just outdone themselves.
My desktop monitor was just not big enough to reveal everything from their characters on screen, slowly falling in love, while they hurt each other, protect each other. This TV show still had plot flaws, inconsistency, over-the-top and exaggerated situations but since the main characters love acted as a 'fil rouge', a red thread that connnects them to the viewers along the path of the drama, it was honestly sufficient to watch the show without boredom, and without hoping it ends faster. So for the touching romance alone, and the awesome feelings the actors were able to describe, a 8.5 rating here is not too much if it connects you to this drama.
