For all of us who have finished school and gone into the world of finding a job, will truly relate to this show. This story is not only of some guy having a hard time staying in one job, but also of growth and realizing the importance of family. The main character goes through a transition of someone who is impatient, and blames his misfortunes on others and society, to a man who learns to accept and embrace his shortcomings while appreciating things he has taken for granted. These are the main points I liked of Freeter, a believable and easily relate-able story that helped me realize some of my own mistakes in life. On the other side, Freeter is tagged as a romance, but do not look forward to see much of that as it is to expect from Japanese stories that include "Romance," there is almost none of it. Relationships wise, Freeter focuses more on the family which at the beginning struggle to express their true feelings to each other, but gradually develop for the better. If you feel like watching a story of growth, and enjoy family dramas, this is a good recommendation, on the other hand do not expect to see much romance.

Another Korean crime movie, another story about corrupt government officials. It always makes me wonder if I'm just watching the same story in a slightly different form.

EVEN so, the story was well-executed and acted that I was glued to my screen throughout the movie.

Kim Rae-won and Han Seok Kyu, the two main leads, are both fantastic. Kim Rae-won's grit, perseverance, and desperation to avenge his brother is clear and wins you over quickly at the start of the show. Han Seok Kyu, despite playing an evil character, commands the screen every time he is in a scene and makes you root for him even though he is truly a despicable character. There are a few other actors who would hold top billing in their own right but played supporting characters in this movie, to add to the star quality already leading the movie.

The story escalates quickly to a thrilling end, and I was pretty satisfied with the way the story was resolved and how it ended.

As for music, the use of instrumental music to build up the suspense of certain scenes is one of the better ones I've seen amongst other Korean action movies.

A very entertaining watch with some great performances from the leads.

A forbidden romance between an actor and an idol, Jae Ha (Park Sung Woong) portrays a stern actor who doesn't give into Yeong Woo's (Oh Seung Hoon) childish behaviour, steamy interactions from the play turn into a heated romance in reality, despite the movie being quite rushed there definitely parts of the movie where it was exciting and scenes of Jae Ha's and Yeong Woo's passionate romance which played with your heart strings.

Story : 9.0 - like i said it was a bit rushed, many people said that it was a bad ending, but in all honesty it made sense to me, the romance was exciting and I longed for more romance scenes, and that's what I got, If you're into LGBTQ movies this is definately the movie for you.

Acting/cast 9.5 - what can I say the cast was spectacular, the romance they portrayed was beautiful, no doubt! Also the support characters did a wonderful job.

Music 10 - Oh Wow! The music was beautiful I always love violin in movies and this is perfect for the atmosphere, truly no fault in any of the pieces of music.

Rewatch Value - It's a quick movie to watch again, so I'm definately going to be watching this again in my spare time.

The Netflix  series that did not work very well, to start the story is not  innovative, collegiate, mystery, murder, ghosts, school, are saturated  themes not only in the manga market and anime, but in Doramas too, the  cast, practically young is pleasant, the performance of the  protagonist was marked positively, but the biggest disaster is due to  cinematography, very heavy, lifeless, basically set in internal scenes,  the soundtrack in turn is in agreement, gave at least context to all  elements , but in the end it was not a good drama.

Important note : this drama is definitely NOT   for teens or UNDER 18 VIEWERS  , since it has few disturbing  scenes, which made me sad seeing them and since its a adult theme drama so, u should expect that much at least.... haha

Theme :  this will be a serious /dark theme drama about VARIETY SHOW industries , which is was and  quite interesting to watch also , there are some truth also shown in this drama like,  how idols/ celebrities do the things no matter what it takes to survive in the industry, even if its against their don't like to do it.
they focused the character of a producer and the people around him  , since  a producer plays a very important role the entertainment industry .

episode 1 and 2 was interesting to watch , as they revealing the secrets one by one
episode 3 was also going pretty good, BUT  then the ending scene though ...i got goosebumps hahaha #TWIST .
episode 4 : this episode was bring all the pieces together from last 3 episodes( obviously, since its the last episode LOL )
and the biggest highlight was the ending , i was DUMBFOUNDED , i got confused for a bit, but it was worth watching .#GRAND TWIST

MY  THOUGHTS : i don't know whether i should like this drama or hate it but i think i liked it..lol idk....guys what do u guys think about this drama ?

This drama was such a good surprise for me! I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. It has been said that the second part of the show is dragging a little bit, but at that point I was so attached to the four main characters that it didn't bother me at all.
I absolutely loved the character of Choi Kang Soo (how can you not?) and I'd like to thank Go Kyung Pyo for existing.
I loved both female leads for the same reason: they were both young women doing everything they can to be independant, despite their families dragging them down / pressuring them. A lot of people seem to think that they were annoying, but I found them courageous and funny, and I enjoyed watching them evolve a lot.
I've had mixed feelings about Oh Jin Gyu as a character, but Kim Sun Ho did such an awesome job at portraying him (his facial expressions are the best) that I ended up loving him too.

The setting around deliverymen is very unusual for a drama, which is one of the reasons why I wanted to watch it in the first place. If you've had that kind of "service industry" job before, you will probably find the characters really relatable and get a lovely kind of "hommage" [to service workers] feel to the drama.

The story is simple, with no big surprises, but that's what I loved about the drama too. The focus is on the characters, their hopes and dreams, rather than on a complexe plotline, which makes it easy to watch.
It's a simple, yet touching drama about the power of kindness, friendship and persistence. It made me laugh and cry, and left me with really warm, happy feels. I definitely recommend it!

A slow slice of life type show. A rural town with a hospice is the setting so you have youth clashing with death. There is nothing mysterious or suspenseful... it's slice of life.

The cast consists of three new-ish actors and an experienced surrounding cast. Kai, Kim Jin Kyung & Lee Ye Hyun being the three newcomers.
Lee Ye Hyun was the standout of the three for me. According to MDL it was her first credited performance and she was the strongest over the course of the show.
Kim Jin Kyung also seems to have her first credit in a dramatic role and she was alright.
Kai had some experience and he started strong but as the show went on I was less impressed with him, I think the writers/directors share some blame though.

The writing and directing was a subpar. It was messy to me even when you give them the benefit of the doubt and recognize slice of life can be messy but entertaining and have value. They were stringing things together in a very unconvincing ways. There have been lots of movies and shows about death and loss from South Korea and I don't think Andante stands out despite its entire focus being on those subjects.

I don't see any re-watch value. It's slow and once was enough for me. It's not a bad show but it's not a very compelling show either.

I'll end on a positive note and re-iterate that Lee Ye Hyun did a good job and I hope to see her cast in more dramas.

Totally worth the watch, there’s was no overly cliche plot or stupid/annoying characters.
Probably the best series for LJS and second best for PSH after you’re beautiful.
Characters are funny and adorable.
There’s really no evil second lead or wavering leads, they were pretty solid in who they liked.
The grandpa and dad of in ha are hilarious they make it so much better.
Kind of slow at times but overall pace is great along with acting.
I didn’t like how dal po in a way blamed in ha for her mother’s wrongdoings like bruh really that’s just too much.
Anyways I still love my fav otp darling couple. 10/10

But  I would re-watch this drama 100 times  only for  Jo Jin Woon  as detective Lee Jae Han.  He brought this character to life.

What ruined it for me (and I cannot tolerated it anymore)  is the fact that when they have proof that someone is a criminal (videos, photos, testimony etc)  it's all deemed as circumstantial evidence and on the "he said/she said" basis.  The criminals walk away happy. When they want to arrest the heroes  than they use the most idiotic formula ever, frustrating the audience to no end because that's what they do.  Then the "I said/he said" works in sfavour for the heroes. "becuase someone saw you so you are the criminal". Case close. Other the rules work the same for everyone  and the screenwriters stop writing as if the audience is stupid, or they don't work at all.  I remember "I hear your voice" had the same nonsense thrown into the drama at one point. It's not entertaining anymore when you question your intelligence at watching something that has become ridiculous.  Other things that are annoying. For example: a girl is raped by more than 10 boys, but the semen found is discarded as evidence.  A detective asks a cleaning lady when the rubbish bins have been emptied, but she looks at him very concerned and asks why. He then goes on explaining that he is a detective and he is looking for something...see my budge. The same detective is now looking erratically  for this item in  a rubbish plant.  Someone that works there tries to stop him because frankly the detective is making a mess within the mess. But the detective doesn't show  him his budge nor does he tells him  he is a detective looking for something  important. Like a child he keeps saying "one more minute one more minute." whilst trying to get away from the attendant.
The profiler is arrested. You would think a profiler would come up with something smart and witty to say about "I'm not the killer, why would I want to someone" etc. But no! Like a poor beaten peasant he keeps saying"I didn't do it. I didn't do it" over and over again. And the way he gets arrested is like witch-hunting material.
You know who the villains  are from the very beginning. And the main villain has not a real background story. Why did he decide from the very beginning that he had to act like a loyal dog for the people with power  it's never explained.
All police officers a part from the 3 main characters and their 2 sidekicks are either corrupted, stupid or immoral. Can that even be possible???? Everyone is shouting. Your boss will ask you to solve a case and then he will get angry at your for solving it.  They are all angry and unprofessional.

Please someone explain the end to me. The end is a mess. But you all got it???

Overall the movie was funny and great watch. I didn't like the acting of the man in the drama, at some parts it was cringy seeing him so obsessed of the main actresses' body.  Other than that his acting was decent.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            .

This drama is a master piece.  The STORY was a heart breaking one.  At some points,  it will make you sad,  others mad and even angry.  This drama will give you a lot of strong emotions.  Nevertheless, this drama is not for everyone.  It depends on your personality and taste. There's a lot of political issues,  family issues and people with mental disorders, this show is sensitive with the things that appear and say on it.  So be aware of that.

The ACTING was incredible amazing.  But the one who did the best was the villain (Song Yoon-Ah)  best known in the series as Choi Yoo-Jin,  a cold and heartless woman but beautiful in the inside. She was the best character in the whole series. Lee Jung-Jin,  better know as Chairman Choi was incredible amazing too.  Ji Chang Wook did a beautiful job despite of Yoona's character,  my less favorite.  Don't get me wrong,  I did love some things about her,  and I can relate to her in some cases but I wish she was able to do more instead of crying and letting others lie to her.

The music is OKAY and it goes with the story.   When it comes to rewatch value,  it all depends on the person,  I love this series but I won't probably watch it again because I'm not the type of person who repeats series, but maybe in ten years it would be the perfect time. It depends on the person.

Overall: 10 stars.  It deserves it for being sucy a great drama and amazing acting.  Give it a try.

Over all I would have to say that this drama was a bit dissapointing because of all the high rewievs. I will not say that this is a bad drama don't take me wrong, but there are several flaws with it.

Story wise the drama was pretty good, but at some point (think it was around episode 12 or something) i thought to my self: what more kan they do with this? I think they could have made this show a few episodes shorter, because some episodes are filled with stuff that dosen't move the plot forward at all.
i think this is a personal thing, but i didn't really like the characters. i found some of them annoying, like Oh Ri On . And  I found the whole twin brother kinda  being in love with his sister fucked up.  This is actually something that ruined the show quite a bit for me. But i did like the different personalities.
But the biggest problem i had was the innacurate display of a mental illness like D.I.D. I Know that it is drama and that i shoulden't expect much from it when handelig this theme, but it was quite dissapointing. I believe when handeling things like this, you should display it in a propper way. Not necesseraly in a serious and boring way, but diferent from this.
It did have a ton of funny bits that cheered up the quite dreary story at times, which i enjoyed.

Something i have to abselutely praise is the actig in this show. Obvioussely the actig of the main character Cha Do Hyeon played by Ji Sung, his acting was outstanding. Seeing him handle 7 different roles, and changing so quickly, as well as being so convinsing was incredible. The chemestry between Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum was also great.

The music in the show was  quite good, i ended up singing the main song all the time after watching this. The change from soft volcal singing to ruffer rapping in this song suited the whole of the drama quite well. they could have had a few more songs to the soundtrak.

Personally i woulden't rewatch this drama that often, probeny because i diden't connect enougth with the characters to watch it over and over.

This drama is a good one, i did enjoy it in the end and it was exiting to find out about the past of these characters, and the plot twists was quite intriguing. I would probably recomand this to others.

I started watching this drama more than 6 months ago - it was different from many historical dramas and focused on a female lead during the period Samurai's reigned in Japan -- definitely unique.  However, subbing was so slow I became frustrated and gave it up -- but checked weekly to see if any progress in the area of subbing.   Finally, in 2018 my dream came true - all 20 episodes were subbed.  I watched without subs having no idea what was going on but the story just seemed appealing.   The story -  very unique and it spans a significant portion of the female leads younger life-- every emotion you can name can be attributed to her but the drama really focuses on "clan loyalty."     Once you start watching you can't stop -- in the end -- I felt a lingering sadness for this character.   This is not an action drama but a romantic story that moves your heart.  In the end, I researched the purposes of a Shogun and the governmental system during the 17th century.  It is best to marathon if possible because there are so many characters and week by week it is easy to forget their role in the drama ---  worth every minute watching and felt this should have been translated immediately and shared on many more streaming sites.  One of the top historical dramas with a focus on a woman -- a capable one.

Let's begin with technical things -

The storyline is fairly everyman. The story pretty much literally revolves around 4 men with unique personalities and lives mixing with each other. There isn't any mind-blowing plot or intricated scheming. There's nothing you "can't see coming." In some places, the story appears rushed and underdeveloped. However, the reason I gave the story aspect such a high rating was because this is definitely a character driven story and the characters are amazing. The characters come from different walks of life, with vastly different personalities, with vastly different goals, hidden agendas, open agendas and complicated psyches. It captures the nitty-gritties of relationships and love. The undercurrents in relationships that noone wants to talk about, the kind of stuff everybody wants to pretend doesn't exist  and it captures every feeling beautifully.

Acting is spot-on. The cast is all eye-candy and handsome. There's plenty of gorgeous bodies and man on man action. ;) But, less superficially, I think the actors did well in capturing each character's individual charm, flaws and emotions. Jimmy's actor nailed the seemingly happy-go-lucky facade (with a sensitive and deeply emotional side). Yan Fei's actor nailed the stoic, in command and forward thinking marketing director who is very filial to his mother (yet he is insensitive and he is not loyal to his partner). Hai Qing is artistic and apparently highly talented, but he has a dark (easily angered, depressed, easily upset, possessive and jealous) side.  Ping Jun is the simplest character - he's pretty much just a nice guy the whole time, to the end. (And he finished last, haha)

Music is lovely. Yeah. I'm going to be downloading the track. The music matches the theme/story so well.

Definitely a whole truckload of heartbreak, unfairness, conflicting character values. It's awfully realistic in that sense. Every character has needs that just aren't met. In that sense, I do think that Yan Fei and Hai Qing complete each other, but it's not going to be a healthy relationship because they're both emotionally and mentally unhealthy characters.

My biggest complain about this drama is the casting and the chemistry mismatch, actually. Tom (Wang Ting Yun) is drop dead gorgeous, but he's reserved/hesitant person/introspective in real life and he can't 100% pull off the dominant/aggressive character Yan Fei is supposed to be. Charles (Lin something) is an outgoing, aggressive-ish and intense personality in real life - great acting, but he isn't 100% pulling off the clingy/desperate-for-love energy Jimmy should have. Jimmy/Charles&Tom/YanFei has insane chemistry, but Tom/Yan Fei could not even remember Aric's (Hai Qing's actor) name and other than some courtesy fan service, would never touch Aric....this absolute lack of chemistry shows, okay? The YanFei/Jimmy scenes felt natural, romantic and sexy. The YanFei/HaiQing interactions... I can tell you guys don't dig each other.

But, for what it's worth, this is still one of the best BL shows out there due to all the stupid censoring that happens to mainland China ones.

All of the ARMY out there, this is the best show of the group that you must watch if you haven't already!
Being a hardcore fan of BTS, this show has always been on my "to watch" list. I regret not seeing it sooner. This is the season 1 where the guys go to explore Northern Europe. As always with the boys, the show is very entertaining, doesn't lack humor (believe me, a goldmine for memes), and surprisingly enough, it's very inspirational. I want to travel to the same countries too. Watching back, you do reflect on some things and fall in love with the band members even more. <3
