Yolanda as Qing Rou acting was too exaggerated. It is already to the borderline of idiotic Jim Carrey style. Repeated scenes of her trying to escape starts to get boring. The story drags on too long and starts to get irritating. The writer must be lack of ideas and kept repeating similar scenes.  Yolanda lacks the naunce of to project good  comedy such as she used same facial expresssion, etc. Overall thr storyline is just average and Yolanda acting as Qing Rou is mediocre. I wont watch it again.

Yes, I'm giving this a 10/10 even though everybody seems to have issues with this drama. I don't.

This drama had me excited all the time and when there were no new episodes I was so curious as what would happen next.

The story is well written in my opinion. There are three main arcs, I'd say. The past, the island and the present which was very enjoyable. I was already scared they would make the plane crash into a little flashback and build up the story from there but it wasn't like that and that was what made me really like the drama.

The acting and cast was perfect for this story. Baek Jin Hee was simply such a cutie and probably the best in this drama was our dear Choi Tae Joon. He really proved his acting skills in Missing 9, wow.

After the show ended I immediately searched for the instrumental OST because it really blew me away. For every scene they had a fitting piece that build up the emotions even more. Plus, the OST was very well done which is almost the most important thing for me after the story.

Even though so many people don't like this drama that much, I do. That's why you should maybe try to watch this for yourself as everyone has a different taste.

PS.: All my friends who watched this, enjoyed it a lot! So maybe it's a country thing... haha.

The best part of this show is definitely the humor. It's really crazy and mabye not for everyone but I lost my sh*t, haha. The acting was also very well done but I have to say the characters were extremely annoying. That is why I couldn't like the drama as much as I maybe could have.

1. Bong Soon continuesly beats people up in the show resulting in hospitalizing them for a very long time. I get that it's supposed to be a show and 'funny' but no. The show tries to ridicule violence and to justify it. Not okay.

2. Her mother has the upper hand in the family and beats up her dad all the time when he doesn't agree. Does that seem like a healthy relationship? No, but sorry. I couldn't even smile at these scenes. It's supposed to be funny because the 'weak' mother -- a woman -- beats up her husband, ohohoho... Not hilarious.

Apart from that it is a good show, I guess but nothing TOO special even if they were somehow trying to make it into something big I feel.

I really love tokyo ghoul! reallyyy...
So I was super excited to see this live-action, but with some obvious fear, due to the Attack of Titan movies that have scared me.
However I have to say that I loved the movie itself. From how they built the story, the actors and even the special effects, it was very good.
Masataka, surprised me too, I even felt that it was Kaneki with that innocent and aggressive side when he is taken to be, I could feel that it was really him and I just want to go in and hug him and say that everything is okay, we was such a character so I was impress for the act. The others were good to, I wanted to see Uta so bad *lol*

Overall I liked it a lot and I think you should give it a try, both the story and the filmmaking went very well. I can only hope for another great movie.

The emotional impact of this show is spot on.

I was really baffled at how the drama would handle the romance of the show with Soon Ae at the reins in someone else’s body. But how cute is it when the two of them become friends? Na Bong Sun kind of becomes drunk on the charisma that is a Kim Seul Gi character. Kim Seul Gi just totally commits to whatever she’s doing. Her crying is tragic, her terror is so gut wrenching and her happiness so freakin’ contagious.

The story telling really becomes strong as the drama moves along. I enjoyed the characterisation and the events that happen as it escalates towards the deadline that is Soon Ae’s ghost life.

Sun Woo – male lead
Sun Woo is your typical arrogant, famous, rich, proud kind of guy. I was impressed that he just liked Na Bong Sun even with her “mental illness”. But in general, he was a hero that I didn’t really connect with. He’s unlikeable and I don’t know what he’s thinking. This means that it’s pretty adorable when he loses it over Bong Sun. He is a rather awkward character but he definitely shows his vulnerability when it comes to his lady love.

Romance
Of course Sun Woo is shocked by Bong Sun’s transformation and I liked how he grew to respect her new personality.
He also became less confident around her. I appreciated that he began to be aware and concerned about what she thought of him. It was kind of hilarious how scared he is when he thinks he’s upset her.
I like how the show demonstrated that Sun Woo did have a connection with Bong Sun through her blog.
It was a bit jarring how the possessed Bong Sun kept throwing herself at Sun Woo, but it was kind of cute how Sun Woo started to have the giggles over it too.
Sun Woo becomes a much better person thanks to Bong Sun. I really liked the transformation and the sensitivity he developed towards her.

The show explores the troubles that Bong Sun goes through because of the relationship building that has occurred when she wasn’t conscious. e.g. Soon Ae likes blood sausage and Bong Sun hates it. So there are so many things that Sun Woo is bringing up because of what Soon Ae told him. But it also gets meaningful when he begins to say things he appreciated about her and what made him like her and they were all things that Soon Ae did for him. It’s a shame that he could never really connect with Soon Ae especially when he admits that he loved her too.

I enjoyed the time of separation that Bong Sun and Sun Woo go through. For once it was done well and was effective for the plot instead of just an in between period to play sad songs and mope around. Also the show demonstrates nicely without too much drama that time is rather healing.

After Sun Woo finds out everything towards the end it is endlessly entertaining as he figures out who was who throughout the whole drama.

Joon/Corden

Big shout out to this character who was so hot and funny and cool and nice. He was one of those random side characters that rooted for the main couple.

When I first completed this drama, I rewatched it again 2 more times. THAT's how much I loved this show. I felt like Jung Hwan's experience was basically my experience and boy, I freaking CRIED when he told Deok Sun the truth. It felt so cathartic for me too.

Everything from the music, each character development, the friendship, the acting and the FEELINGS depicted of having lost your chance because you were too late and didn't make the right choice were SUPERB. I felt Jung Hwan's pain and felt as though I was just watching my life replay on the screen. I felt every emotion Jung Hwan went through. It was so gut wrenching but it was also a way to let go of the past. I still rewatch this show from time to time. It's so timeless and is a classic.

I started watching this show on a whim. I didn't know that it was a web drama...maybe that's why I haven't really heard of it.  This is one of those feel good, pick me up dramas.

Plot wise, there isn't anything new or surprising with this series. It all hits the typical tropes that exist in dramaland: aloof, cold hearted boy who, of course, happens to be the top student of his class, cheerful bubbly girl who isn't smart but the only thing she has going for her is that she LIKES this boy, Jiang Chen and the whole world knows that she does and there is no shame on her part. The whole story is basically the girl and the boy and all the adventures they go through during high school and college. Note, this is a love story so everything revolves around the love story. There may be some issues that you find in Asian societies such as the whole pressure of doing well in school and being depressed about it, or fulfilling your dreams vs your parents' dreams. Regardless of whatever the issue, the story is about Xiao Xi and whether or not Jiang Chen likes her back.

I liked Hu Yi Tian's acting but there isn't a whole lot to write about since he just has to keep quiet and act aloof for most of the show. Shen Yue's acting is a bit exaggerated but with this type of female character, that seems to be part of the package...you cry a whole lot and the audience just choose to either cringe along or cry with her.

Background music was tastefully done.  Some things I did not like was how Jiang Chen kind of bosses Xiao Xi around and she is just like a puppy waiting around for command. I wish there was more growth and character development for Xiao Xi because up until the end of the series, we are convinced that this girl can't do anything to save her life and she has to depend on her man for everything. That didn't sit well with me and she seemed even more stupid at the end of the series that I would like to believe.

I really liked this drama. In terms of production it's not the best drama that I've seen. But the characters and actors' portrayal are amazing. Every little character is developed and you learn to like and understand everybody. All actors in this drama have amazing chemistry: the love interests, the family, the friends, and even the group of young lawyers at the firm. I don't know if it's due to an amazing casting director or a great writer. Maybe both.
At the end I almost forgot that it was all make belief and not a real family in front of me. The casting choices are excellent, the acting is great, the directing and writing is really, really  good. This drama made me laugh and think and for that reason will always stay with me.

This drama is lighthearted and fun, definitely something to pick up in between some angsty melos. Although I've only read up to about chapter 40 of the webtoon it's based on, the content of half, if not most of the episodes have been covered so I can say that it is definitely true to its original source. Scenes are depicted very similarly and even the dialogue is recognizable from the webtoon.

The storyline was interesting to me because of the unique concept that constituted the plot (a vampire who feeds off of energy through physical contact and a human who has mysophobia). It was well paced throughout and the drama did wrap up nicely. There were, however some loose ends, but the second season is rumored to air next month so hopefully, those will be taken care of. The climax of the story (within the drama) though, didn't seem to be as dramatic as they may have intended it to be. It didn't create the suspense or anticipation that it probably should have.
I am actually a big fan of the male lead actor after his drama The Eternal Love, so I found myself inevitably comparing these two. That said, I think both lead actors did a good job of portraying their characters, but I never really felt the chemistry between them. Again, perhaps the second season may change my view on that.
As for the music, I did quite like two of the OSTs. They fit the tone of the story well and were memorable enough, as well as not too overused.
Overall, I would recommend this drama for a short and simple watch, as there are only 16 episodes at around 30 minutes each. I also definitely recommend reading the webtoon!

Hands down, this is the best movie I've watched in a long time. In fact, the only issue I have with it is that it's too short, so sit back and enjoy my verbal spew of compliments. Oh, and before I begin: THIS IS *NOT* A TRAGEDY. I repeat, less obnoxiously, Long Time No See has a happy ending.

Story:
The story is well developed but a bit rushed since this is quite short for a movie. There are several things I could see being fleshed out better with more time, but they use the time they have well. I'd give a summary, but I probably would end up spoiling something.

Acting/Cast:
Alright, this is my favorite part. There were three scenes I watched maybe thirty times each because of how raw and real the acting was. The cast knows what they're doing. The gang boss we see the most of frequently over acts and it threw me off at first until, after a few more interactions, I realized his personality was extra, not his acting. Chisoo, our protagonist, almost pushed me to the brink of tears and I have literally never cried over a movie. The combo of Chisoo and Gitae and all the emotion the shoved into every scene didn't bother pushing me; it punted me past the sun and directly into a galaxy of ugly sobbing. And I was damn glad for it. Okay, let me not get to into this, the short version is simple: the acting is amazing. The cast is amazing.

Music:
If you watch this movie and happen to notice the music, I don't think you're watching hard enough. It took a couple run-throughs before my brain could focus on anything but the immediate action. The music that I did hear and process was good, more so because it fit and blended into scenes instead of snatching me out of them.

Rewatch Value:
I rewatch no movies. Ever. I just don't have the attention span, especially if I already know what happens. That said, I have watched this movie three times in as many days and I'm not bored yet.  In fact, every time I watch it again, I have a bit more fun (and bemoan how short it is a little harder).

Overall:
Watch this movie. Watch this movie because there is absolutely something in it that will make it a favorite of yours. I was wary at first, but it was 100% worth my money and I'd pay for it again even. The happy ending is just a bonus, because this would be my review even if it was a tragedy.

The Thais did it AGAIN. Thai remakes always perfect their plots (Except for Princess Hours). It is like they have a whole bunch of people that sit together to watch the different versions and highlight everything that needs to be changed.

This version has the best storyline. It was logical, with no frills and little dumb moments. The 17 episodes did not feel lengthy at all even though I watched both the Taiwan and Korean versions before! The producers took all the highlights of the previous versions and made it even better by finding the perfect balance between both. Also, they added some background story highlight is 'destiny' part which I felt was a good point. The characters were also sweeter here! Pawut was portrayed softer than the other versions and much less a jerk. HE KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS AND DOES NOT FEAR SHOWING IT.  Wanida was also portrayed better/more likable in this version. She is clumsy and soft, yet not dumb nor naive.

Acting wise, I think the Taiwan version stands out but the thais are close. You could feel the chemistry oozing out of your computer screen when watching the drama. Pawut and Wanida showed their love in every small moment with the looks on their faces! They did well with the emotional scenes as well, which made me cry buckets. The rest of the characters also portrayed their roles really well. The second leads were so caring and sweet which made them a dear to watch.

I was too into the show to pay much attention to the music. But I liked the opening and end! Those within the drama was good, not distracting and fits the mood.

I WILL DEFINITELY REWATCH THIS. I think this plot is cute and will sweeten anyone's day. It has the perfect recipe with just the right amount of twists and sweetness that makes you hooked to know whats coming next! (And even if you watched the other versions, you will still be excited to know whats going to happen!)
Strongly recommend everyone to give this show a try! I honestly like it the most of all the versions. It is like the Taiwan and Korean version had a perfect little baby.

I watched this as part of the watch challenge for 2018 and it was a movie my husband had wanted to see because of the sword choreography being talked up in reviews.

Story: They kept saying the guy was evil, but MOST of the things he did were shady, but not evil per se.  He is asked to comprise his ideals as a samurai, doesn't work well in a group, and has distain for a woman that lowered herself to save her husband and hates him.  If a movie is telling you one thing, but showing you another, it gets really really old really really quick.  Was he Paladin Samurai? by no means.

Acting: The lead does well with seeming to be devoid of emotion, without being devoid of acting.   There was no time when the immersion was broken by bad acting, and Mifune, who has a cameo part in this, does an excellent job.

The Ending.....what do we say about the ending....I was supposed to be part one of a trilogy that never got made.  When it ended we thought the moving was buffering....it wasn't, it was just done.

This way though you can give it a happy ending...or not if you like.

The reason why I didn't watch LOTBS while it aired is simly because I was fed up with Lee Min Ho at that time. Don't get me wrong, I really really really love The Heirs (it was my first KDram, so forgive me, I still love it!), and after watching it I had to watch (almost) all Dramas with LMH and PSH. So I did. And then I was fed up with him because honestly, all the other dramas with him (prior to The Heirs) were just not as good :( So when LOTBS came out I wasn't ready to give it a chance. But now I did, and boy, where did I get myself into!? :D I bingewatched it over the last three days, I just had to! Let's see, why:

Story:
Love ties from ancient times are the reason for a mermaid and a human man to fall in love in the recent time. What follows is a hilarious and adorable story of a mermaid coming into the human world, making crazy friendships, falling deeply in love, and ultimately making a family (partly) reunite. Sounds like a great story, right? It is! Why I took half a point of is because I am not that much into these fantasy story lines. I think it would have been enough to just let them be reborn and fall in love again, without all this mermaid stuff. Some story lines would then probably not work anymore, but still. I prefer "realistic" story lines.

Acting/Cast:
Full points! The characters were all perfectly depicted, and I believed them everything. JJH was hilarious, and thanks to her I burst out into laughter several times. Also, LMH did a terrific job! He's back on my favorite actors list. But also all the supporting characters were great, adorable, and some I would have loved to see more often (Shin Won Ho for example, who plays Tae Oh).

Music:
Well placed and alright, not disturbing.

Rewatch Value:
This drama is really beautiful and funny, but I don't think that I will rewatch it any time soon. Ultimately, I don't rewatch dramas very often. The only two dramas that I rewatched so far are The Heirs (and I only rewatched like the last 6 episodes) and DOTS (all of it). So I am simply not a rewatcher :D

Overall:
An almost perfect drama, with tiny flaws, but great acting, and many (great) surprises =)

I might be biased, because of Kitamura, but I really enjoyed this dorama. It was very easy to follow and since I don't like "drama heavy plot twistey" stories, this was very enjoyable! There was also enough comedy to keep me entertained, not much cringe, which is great!
The acting was very good, too. Kazuki Kitamura never disappoints, of course, but this has only proven how much I enjoy seeing him! Characters are mostly very easy to relate to, either from the main cast or the side characters.
I am not that big on cats; but Tamanojo is surely a beautiful cat. And even as a dog person, I was feeling so nice, seeing how many people in the series share love for cats. It was just so nice to see after watching so many heavy dramas. This was a very relaxing experience for me.
Music in this dorama also gets you set into the time period of Edo. Simply lovely, for me, this dorama is a 10 / 10 !

Before this TV series, I've seen the movie, which gave me a general idea of what the story is about - But to see that the TV series is diferrent, it honestly surprised me! I'm looking forward to watching the 2nd series now.
