STORY: Two boys spend a lot of time together when one ends up working his way into sleeping over frequently. A solid friendship is built but many of their classmates think they are a BL couple. In a bid to make money off this misconception, they do a ton of publicity and fan service of their couple until one of them wants to stop because his image is being ruined and his family are asking hard questions.

ACTING/CAST: Super cute couple even if they aren't a couple! The acting was fine and the cast was cute.

MUSIC: OK, standard stuff.

REWATCH VALUE: I'll probably watch it once more sometime.

OVERALL: A good movie about a fake BL relationship. I wish it was a real one but it wasn't.

STORY: This time it's really all about dealing with being a couple and families who are vehemently opposed. There are very heavy-hitting dramatic scenes in this that threaten the very existence of the couple. There are light-hearted moments also. In fact, wait until Mai Ding meets An Zi Yan's grandfather! I laughed so hard!

Total run-time: 3h, 21m. I saw this on YouTube, look for the HD versions, under the title Like Love 2.

ACTING/CAST: Superb, all around. The performances by the cast that played the families was fantastic.

MUSIC: Standard music for a drama.

REWATCH VALUE: Oh yeah, gonna watch it with a friend.

OVERALL: A very satisfying continuation of the story. Don't forget to watch the outtakes! Also, these guys have a lot of fan service so check that stuff out. Also check out the Like Love shorts, He's Next to You.

TL;DR: The relationship is threatened by families on both sides, and the boys must persevere.

STORY: The details section above describes this show well. It's quirky, funny, there are some serious sex scenes, but the whole show is really all about Maiding, this crazy otaku (only word I could think of) chases after An Zi Yan. Mai Ding is such a persistent pest! He's so adorkable (the only other word I thought of)! He tries SO hard to reach through An Zi Yan's walls and reach his heart and finally wins him over. There's some problems with family and gay acceptance issues that the couple must overcome.

Total run-time: Uncut version, 3h, 14m over 2 parts. This is actually a series of 15 episodes but what I watched was combined into two parts.

ACTING/CAST: All did a good job and Mai Ding is too much!

MUSIC: This soundtrack is spectacular. I've listened to it many times. It's all in Chinese so very tough to get good English lyrics though.

REWATCH VALUE: Yup, seen it many times.

OVERALL: Lots of funny and feel good moments sprinkled with some good dramatic moments. Definitely worth your time.

TL;DR: A fun movie where the uke chases the seme in an effort to get the seme to fall in love.

STORY: This is such a funny show. The loser tries to get back at his ex-girlfriend by getting her new boyfriend to fall in love with him but oops, he also falls in love with the boyfriend he's trying to seduce! A ton of comedy ensues. I'm always annoyed by the strong seme/uke dynamic even though the uke isn't a total pushover in this.

Total run-time: 2 hours 34 minutes over 8 episodes, so each episode is around 20 minutes long. Get this, the intro is 1m 45s, and the credits are 2m 30s! Each episode has more than 4 minutes of bloated credits! Cut that out and the whole show is probably only 2 hours long!

ACTING/CAST: The cast are all very attractive, and play their parts well. I totally loved the part played by the doctor.

MUSIC: Standard drama music. Nothing stood out for me.

REWATCH VALUE: Yes, this is a neat series. Gonna watch with a friend.

OVERALL: Fun series, with cute guys and it's also short. Binge on!

Well, the description for this says it all so I won't repeat it.

STORY: This story isn't about BL, really. It's about broken families of two boys who became friends but moved away and met again later in life and rediscover their feelings towards each other. This story is so great but you probably will not like the ending. It made me sad for quite a while. While it is not a tragic in the sense of someone dying, but a realistic choice that one of the guys had to make, to put his family before himself. That's life.

ACTING/CAST: The boys were young and the older versions still young, but I felt they did a good job. They are cute together.

MUSIC: Since one is a musician, this show had some real good songs. The love song Mew sings was translated (yay!) and the lyrics melt the heart.

REWATCH VALUE: I could not watch this a second time without having a friend with me.

OVERALL: This movie has many warm and fuzzy spots as well as some soul-crushing sad spots, but I believe it was worth the ride. Don't pass this one up because of the ending. You would be missing out on a good story.

TL;DR: A great story about love, loss, family, love rediscovered, and love sacrificed. Worth the trip. Bring tissue for the tears.

I'm fresh from watching this and I'm tired so this will probably not be too good but oh well.
Wow is all I can say, this movie surprised me so much and I'm super glad I decided to watch this. I would like to see a drama version if they ever make one. Anyway what really suprised me about this movie is that it felt fresh even though it's a pretty cliche story. I have been so poisoned with cliche after cliche that I just expect them at all times but this movie avoided them repeatedly which was GREAT. The chemistry is Amazing ???? it felt real the whole time and not fake. When the main characters were in pain so was I great acting and I don't feel any lose ends now that it's ended. It feels complete. I was hesitant about watching it but I'm so happy I did. WATCH IT! It's way better than wasting your time on the same ol bs.

Continuation of the story about a wealthy and powerful guy who basically owns another guy.

STORY: I actually thought part 2 was a bit softer with the the master/slave dynamic. There still is a heck of a lot of possessiveness and jealousy in this. The company and family also play a big part in trying to separate Xie Yan and Shu Nian. This was more about Shu Nian fighting against all odds to keep Xie Yan. I really liked the continuation of the touching story from the first movie that happens between Xie Yan and Ke Luo, both orphans who were adopted by wealthy families. I rooted for their camaraderie. Sorry to say, the ending is soul crushing. You will cry. But there is great news! There is an alternate ending that is happy! Even if you hate sad endings, watch it first, then watch the happy ending.

ACTING/CAST: Very good, all played their parts naturally.

MUSIC: Typical for a drama, the Chinese vocals were not English subbed.

REWATCH VALUE: Yes, i'll watch it once more with a friend.

OVERALL: Besides the heartbreaks and tough times throughout the movie, it was worth experiencing this. The high production value, sharp cast and dialogue, made it worth the trip.

TL;DR: Shu Nian comes to realize Xie Yan is a person that he loves and has to defy all odds to keep him.

A powerful and wealthy family bought a slave from an orphanage as a play thing for their kid. This is the story of them grown up.

STORY: For most of the movie I only cared about one person: Xie Yan. He is literally at the mercy of the evil people around him, including the one who owns him, Shu Nian. He faces quite a lot of hardships and injustice. The ending wasn't sad as much as a cliffhanger because it sets up the sequel.

ACTING/CAST: Very sharp cast, good acting. This is a quality production. There was some great chemistry here and the evil people I mentioned before did a good job at being evil.

MUSIC: Typical music for a drama. Nothing special. I don't understand Chinese vocals and the version I watched the lyrics were not translated.

REWATCH VALUE: Sure, I will watch it once more with a friend.

OVERALL: A quality program with high production value.

TL;DR: If you're OK with a story about a master/slave BL relationship, then watch this.

An ancient supernatural being, a fairy fox, travels to the human realm and causes some mischief then develops feelings for a human man and atones for his misdeeds by saving the man and his future wife.

Total run-time: approx. 80 minutes. I saw it on YouTube, it was choppy and low rez, English subbed.

STORY: The story was somewhat interesting but also somewhat disjointed and confusing. There seemed to be big leaps from one part of the plot to another and I had trouble following. I was never really sure why something was happening. I could be just me not understanding Chinese mythology. I wouldn't say the ending was sad, it wasn't happy either. Nobody dies, so that's a good thing.

ACTING/CAST: The roles seemed to have been played well but I felt some of the acting was a bit wooden. They did cast a number of pretty people for this.

MUSIC: Nothing memorable.

REWATCH VALUE: Meh, saw it, know how it ends, why see it again? Moving on.

OVERALL: This reminded me a lot of 80s American Fantasy, something like Highlander. Immortal (but not really) beings in the human realm doing stuff. Some of the effects seemed the same, kinda cheesy. The BL part of the story was almost nothing more than a footnote.

TL;DR: Watch the series "My Roommate Is a Fairy Fox" instead. It's better.

The core story was strong, but had weak branches. You could climb it sure, and when you reach the top you feel delighted, but you have to be prepared for weak footfalls on the lower branches, at the threat of wanting to jump to the ground, and come back another day.

The main story is of a serial killer, using an iron ball to satisfy his sadistic pleasures. When Jin Hyuk's wife is murdered in the opening scenes, the game is strong and you watch him (Jin Hyuk, not the serial killer^^) team up with Gwon Joo, who's cop father was also murdered by the same guy, as she heads the "Golden Time Team" at their local precinct.

A team that is dedicated to reaching any crime scenes within the golden period before it ends for the worse - 10 minutes.

With this set in place, we have to sit through this team being put into use, with my favourite side story, of a foster kid behind abused by his mum, in a repeat cycle of what happened to her so he called 112, to my least favourite set in a mental centre, where homeless people are being fleeced and then killed. Seemingly random, but providing leads to the serial killer. I didn't know whether to be pissed or happy. Happy, is what I went with. Imagine if I had sat through all those cute, protracted spin-offs and there wasn't a point?

The serial killer does not hide.

No, he is almost luxurious in the way he hunts and reveals himself. Extremely arrogant of being untouchable (typical privileged Korean kid, lol^^) However, he was willing to lose that power, just so it would create maximum torment within the two he was obsessed over. Jin Hyuk and Gwon Joo. One of the best scenes including Mo Tae Gu (and there were many) was when he was wheeled out of hospital, escaping, but yet he roared because he didn't want to escape, but be back in their clutches. Wow!

Kim Jae Wook is excellent, the best thing in the last four episodes.
Lee Ha Na has this breathy style of speech she adopted here, which I grew used too, so I was cool with the girl by the end.
Jang Hyuk was in the middle of these two, somewhere in terms of acting talent and commitment.

I could see myself rewatching the first two episodes, and the last four alone. That's it. For that, I will give a high rewatch score.

If you like crime/detective dramas, this is the best one out of 2017 for sure.
But the year is early yet 8D

STORY: A fantasy about a reincarnated guy, Xiao Mo, with no memory of his past living in the modern-day who has a spiritual guardian Lu Bai (a fairy fox) protecting him because in Xiao Mo's past life, he sacrificed himself to save Lu Bai. Xiao Mo is now a dork that bumbles through life at the mercy of his sister and his friends who are always looking out for him. Being the first season, it's slow in parts as the story is being established. There is some fan service but no real BL to speak of.

NOTE: The official YouTube channel does not have subtitles and blocked Fruitylads's posts. Try Google. Also, these episodes average 25 minutes with a staggering 5.5 minutes of opening/closing credits!

ACTING/CAST: The ENTIRE cast are all very HOT! You will see a scene where Lu Bai does Cosplay; I am at a loss for words to explain how amazing he looks. There's so much good chemistry here, especially between Xiao Mo and Lu Bai. The cast are young and inexperienced, and it shows.

MUSIC: I like the main theme and the credits and there's some good background music, like the haunting piano melody when something bad is happening.

REWATCH VALUE: Yes. Already have. I simply love the story and concept even if all the BL was cut out of it.

OVERALL: I love fantasy but wish there was more focus on a bromance instead of just fan service. Watch the prequel movies too.

I realize this was a short web series, but I don't think the story was well-developed. I was excited to watch this because, same as most others, I wanted to see Kim Seul Gi in a lead role. I wish it had been in something better than this.

Kim Seul Gi was adorable as usual, so her acting carried this show. Ahn Hyo Seop was just a pretty face without much substance, and the same for Yeon So Hee. Pretty much all of my acting points are given solely because of KSG.

I think the story really failed to teach the moral that it seemed to set out to do. I read that someone compared it to 'Shallow Hal', and in theory I thought that would have been a good comparison. However, the characters did not evolve much past the "beauty is everything" mindset. I think this story could have so much better, but the writers blew it. There were two good ways they could have handled the "true beauty is on the inside" moral, and they did neither. I was pretty frustrated with the main male lead and his character's basically non-existent growth. I feel like Mo Nan Hee had a tiny bit of growth, but only related to her own sense of self-worth and not in how she, herself, saw her object of desire. She was almost as superficial as the guy.

The music I didn't notice much, so it must have been serviceable.

I won't rewatch this.

This show was okay. As others have said, it's more of a "slow burner". I liked the feel of the show at the beginning - the cinematography was perfect and the show had this dreamy quality to it. So I stuck with it even when some parts were confusing for me. The middle parts got a little bogged down, but I felt like it ended well with most questions answered satisfactorily.

I thought that Shin Min Ah and Lee Je Hoon had a great chemistry together and the romance was delicious to watch. But the rest of the acting for them wasn't as good as it could have been. I've seen them both do a better job, but I don't know if the direction and script played a part in how they were lacking here.

I enjoyed the story enough. But around episode 10, I was really just ready to see the ending. I did feel like they ended the show well, and wrapped up the storyline in a good way. I was worried about it around episodes 12-14. But the writers pulled through and connected the ending with the crumbs they laid out on the way. I have to give them credit for that.

The music was nice and went with the feel of the show.

I won't re-watch this, but I don't feel like it was a waste of my time. This show was decent and the romantic parts were better than the rest of the story. It was enjoyable enough, but probably won't be memorable.

This drama is so underrated. I'm so mad at the low rating this drama got.
Tomorrow With You is one of the most beautiful dramas I've ever watched.

The plot was really amazing and unexpected! It was something new and unique. I don't know how to explain it clearly, but this drama was really something. It was not only about romance and time travel but there were so much more. This drama taught me about how to treasure life. It made me realize that every choice we make, even a small one, it can give huge effect to our future. Also, the romance was so strong and beautiful. I'm completely in love with it! I know this drama didn't have much action but more into conversation and the plot was slow, that's why some people found it boring, but I totally enjoyed it. Every conversation means so much to me.

I really love every characters in this drama and the casts did a great job. My fav is Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah), now I'm a fan of her!

and for the music, I didn't really give much attention to it, but since I love this drama, I'd still give it high rating.

Rewatch value: I'll propably watch this again when I'm in calm mood and not busy.

Overall this drama is amazing and it deserves more recognition. So please give it a try! :)
