I can’t find the right words to tell. I think this crossover Thai x Korea is so amazing!!! I think this drama, shows a amazing side of this country’s and their culture, I’m happy that the language was not a problem. The whole story of peach is interesting, I really enjoy to watch this show. I get emotional, I smile a lot, the soundtrack is good, the actors does a perfect job, I’m looking forward for more story, more series like this, the plot was good too. I miss some points but in the end everything was good, the drama is amazing.

a supernatural drama with hysterical girls

The story is very good but really? They possessed abylities to see, hear, smell ghosts and with a touch one of them can see the past.

Well, the one who sees ghosts, since the childhood, was supposed to endure when she see them. but no, she is always frightening, screaming, crying... so annoyng. The others scream a lot, act like stuborn childs almost of the time, except for the one who can left her body. Don't remember their names, because are all too complicated. Even the auntie is an hysterical woman. I've a headache when i just saw the series.
The guys where ok, and the romance is also the same in every asian drama.
The goldengirl (the ghost kid) is amazing, funny and such a good litle actress. The same to the Trinita's grandpa.
It's a pitty that in asian dramas the girls act always act like they are 15 or less and take all the time screaming, not talking.
But it was funny to watch, but very far from the western series from the same genre.

EXTREMELY DISGUSTING
DEFINITELY AN INDIAN DRAMA
the writer watched a lot of romance drama and decided to collect all what he watched in one shallow, annoying and trivial one

From episode two I already decided to delete this drama
The events were too fast till the limit you should figure out by yourself what happened

Lots of drama
Lots of shallowness
Lots is disarranged events
Lots of annoying characters
No depth in the story at all

And at last, Ending with disgusting relation between two girls
UGGGGHHHH

Now I remembered why I hate Thailand dramas a lot

HILARIOUS DRAMA THIS YEAR

I've been looking forward for this drama because I love Zhao LuSi...she's a cute gal with acting like fresh breath of air. Too many heavy intrigue back stabbing dramas lately, too many stupidity story lines, a light heart comedy drama is most welcomed. Zhao LuSi is good doing comedy, there're fans tired watching her on the same genre but when she's doing something different character (Le Yan - Long Ballad) she looked out of character and miserable. Xu Kai Cheng is the kind of guy who'd look gorgeous without smile...his soft gaze betrays sternness as Deputy Chief educator. His expression is on the spot; between exasperation, wonderment, delight, love, unbelievably, and protectiveness. The kind of a man that has finally found his treasure in his life and happy to announce the world that that treasure is belong to him.

I enjoy every minute of it. It's started from a 'bet' - a bet that would get Sang Qi (LuSi) into hilarious efforts to get Yan YunZhi (Kai Cheng) accept her tiny purse/pouch who'd happen to be her Dean at the Imperial Collage. The collaboration of supporting actors in this drama was amateur, some act childish even wooden. Xu Kai Cheng was a bit older which appropriate for his character as he's her oldest brother's best friend and the Deputy Chief of the collage - about 27-30 while LuSi's character was about 16-18 (marriageable age) a care free and brave girl that grown up at the frontier of border. MLs were both look so comfortable and relax together like sibling. They're bickering - outsmart each other - play trick as well as shamelessly showing open affection. Sang Qi was kind of a Tomboy, she gets herself into fights between school mates, she's the ring leader of the boys, the only girl amongest competitive unruly young noble men. The girl Lan Qi was such a bore, a killjoy.

I love ep 1 when Sang Qi and Zhao speak dialect to mock Ms Song and YunZhi, ep 11 a hilarious memorable scene as first time ever I see a quarrel - a misunderstanding between lovers using their apologetic (and up set) expression while on the other side of the rock, another couple arguing try to reconcile their same misunderstanding. I think that's an awesome scene because we don't see that cleverness/witty expression scene in a scrip. Ep 14 'hiding' scene under the bed is good too...actually there are many funny scenes in every episodes. Ep 18 onward is not funny anymore...little serious. The MLs kissing/hugging scenes were pretty cute, their eyes locking together with smiles and affection, they look good and cute together,I love the OST...the background music is very good. I gave rewatch value 10 because I've been watching this over and over again....

From 0 to 100 real quick!

Just finished this and I was left confused.
They legit kiss as strangers, and then the next day they are in love and dating like they've known each other for decades.
If the romance had any realistic progression whatsoever, it would be very normal for the main couple to share such an intense love for one another..but no.

Just a heads up, there is a 16-year age gap between the ML and FL. Although, that didn't bother me since they were both adults.

I guess my advice would be: If you want to watch this, don't try to make sense of what is happening.

Not what I expected from the hype....

So, I waited to watch this because it got a lot of hype when it first came out, but it really wasn't what I expected. If you get attached to side characters easily this is NOT the drama for you! Imagine King2Hearts. Don't get me wrong, the acting was great, but the story line was what I had a problem with like why tf couldn't they just kill Kim Cha-eon?!? I mean they did a horrible job of explaining why he couldn't just be "accidentally" pushed down a flight of stairs, or poisoned. They had NO problem killing everyone else. I don't know, I just felt there were too many plot holes -I felt like Ae Weol, Dong-joo, and Yoon Seok-ha were all done wrong in this drama and Prince Seowon really didn't have enough of a part in the series.

Could had been good...

Do I recommend it? No...

I think like many, there are a lot of parts that were just boring and or bad. I really wanted to like this drama, but overall it was just not as exciting and interesting. It became a drama where I skipped through or had in the background while doing other things. It wasn't a drama that I wanted to focus on nor rewatch.

There had been some who had been frustrated with the character development and ending, and I see why. I personally don't mind as I feel like the writer did it as a stereotypical scenario. Forgiveness is great and I love that it's implemented, but it's just bland. I would have appreciated it more if the philosophy was expressed more.

My fav character was ShuangShuang btw, she's so cute. there were times where the acting was not the best (very forced and fake), but her character overall was the most relatable.

Cute intro, and beautiful production. A very typical style, so I came in with low expectations.

Revolutionary Sisters is a great form of emotional therapy, but not for everyone

Revolutionary Sisters is NOT for everyone, I acknowledge that. Even though I ended up absolutely adoring it, it really isn’t for everyone.

The first ~15 episodes are painful - not because they were poorly executed or portrayed poor acting, but because watching the way the characters treat each other is just awful. After the death of the 3 sister’s mother is resolved, the plot really does improve. All of the characters get fleshed out and each one grows and changes for the better. Yes, in the beginning the daughters are particularly awful to their father, but the whole story is about their growth as daughters, sisters, and women. You come to understand them, why they turned out the way they are, and witness their beautiful metamorphosis when they see the faults in their ways. Watching the sister’s feel awful toward their father upon realization of their horrific behavior is the most heartbreaking, yet satisfying part of this drama to watch.

I will be completely honest: the first ~15 episodes had me wondering if I really wanted to watch Revolutionary Sisters. The murder/mystery genre really isn’t my thing - add that on top of the despicable treatment of the father by his 3 daughters and it really was a tough call. But, as shameful as this sounds, it was the affair of the oldest sister’s husband that kept me going. At the time, I was the most angry and disgusted with her (the oldest sister, Gwang Nam) behavior. She was awful to everyone and stuck up. But the affair tears her apart as a person and it destroys her world. She humbles due to the new hardships she must face on her own and really changes into this beautiful person. I identified with her the most and I adored her story with her husband the most.
My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years. I could really sympathize with the feelings that Gwang Nam experienced in her position, as the oldest sibling/daughter and in a long-standing committed relationship. No, my husband and I have never *knocks on wood* had to deal with infidelity, but the raw feelings and struggle this couple experienced, I could feel compassion for.
To be clear, I don’t really care to watch a drama revolving around characters who are cheating, but this was so different. Maria, the woman Gwang Nam’s husband cheated with, took advantage of him once while he was black-out drunk and conceived a baby (let’s say it how it is guys). While he’s not innocent of adultery and lying, he still sincerely loved Gwang Nam, he was just stuck between a rock and a hard place of doing the right thing. And through finding out about her husband’s affair and recognizing her responsibility and role in their failed marriage, Gwang Nam realized how much she still loved her husband. But it was too late. Things couldn’t go back as they were because a baby was now involved. Watching her come to terms with the aftermath of his affair and letting each other go had me sobbing like a baby. I can’t imagine going through that, but the feelings hit right like they should. From there on, I had to know what happened to them.

I next liked the second sister, Gwang Sik. She was the best out of the 3 sisters to start. She was a little too perfect for me, but her flaws, albeit relatively minor compared to her 2 sisters, became more apparent once she became married. Her romance with the aspiring trot star was pretty adorable and left you with mostly happy feels. The way their relationship impacted the prior generation was sad, but I think it turned out right.

And Gwang Tae. I *disliked* her for the majority of Revolutionary Sisters. She was manipulative and conniving. Money was the most important thing to her and I just don’t identify nor sympathize with that. Her constant business with the loan sharks didn’t impress me either. She just came across as you’d expect of the youngest sibling: spoiled, whiny, and used to getting what she wants. BUT in the last ~10 episodes (after her huge blow out with Gwang Sik), she really turned a new leaf (and things kept happening that kept positively impacting her character, which I approve of). I personally feel that her romance was the most shallowly written as I didn’t feel the build up of emotion and feelings as distinctly as I did for the other couples, but by the end, I really liked how they grew together and supported each other despite their flaws. I especially love how she defended her brother-in-law. At least she’s loyal! :D

There are many other characters in Revolutionary Sisters, but since it’s a family drama, that’s too many to analyze in my review here. But there’s someone I’d really like to mention...

Young Hee - the woman who finally makes Appa, Cheol Soo, happy towards the very end of the series. I love her happy demeanor, her loud, but classy style, how she’s attracted to Cheol Soo and how she wants to take care of him. It was so nice to see him happy and treated so warmly considering how poorly he was treated by his wife and how unhappy she made him. I was so happy that Cheol Soo finally found happiness with someone.

The conclusion of the drama was done through multiple time jumps - 8 months later, another year later, etc. I both liked and disliked this because it was a bit odd to have so many time jumps, but seeing the sisters with their families, plus seeing how the other characters and extended family were doing was nice.
Unfortunately, there were 2 loose ends that weren’t resolved to my satisfaction:
What happened with Gwang Nam’s father? Who was he and is it really okay for Gwang Nam to think he’s passed away?
What about Aunt Bong Ja and her love, Dol Se? I know things were complicated with Gwang Sik and Ye Seul being married, but we didn’t even get to see resolution with their matching necklaces...

In regard to music, I enjoyed the music, especially the instrumentals! They were well selected and well placed to really build the scene.

So overall, I *would* recommend Revolutionary Sisters, but warn that the first quarter of the drama is truly difficult to stomach; have patience and it’ll pass. You really need that awful beginning to adequately depict the character changes that occur over the course of the story. If you can get through the beginning, it seriously pays off. I will definitely be rewatching.

I didn't like season 3 as much as I liked the previous two seasons (I rated them both 10/10). I was sort of watching if when it was still airing so basically just one ep a week but I didn't mind that much since it wasn't that good and this way I could take breaks between the eps instead of watching them in one go.

So many things has changed, many characters has come and gone (this time without coming back) and at the end I was legit sad that it was ending. This is the longest Korean series I've ever watched with the three seasons and I was at the edge of tears when letting go and finishing the last ep.

At least my favourite character got (sort of) a happy ending ? I was so emotional when the final scene came up, oh my god.

I give the rating 8/10, some scenes were too much and some characters seemed really unnecessary (eg. Alex) for the plot but overall it got better at the end.

Brutal, bloody, beautifull yet probably overhyped..

This drama was awful to watch but has pretty high entertainment value, some parts where good, others mediocre, it did leave me guessing (some theories where right others wrong) and did keep me on my toes at times. It does have some interesting issues and does make you feel stuff... but not to much. And it definitely did leave room for more seasons as well as had me closing my eyes a lot. It is utterly brutal in some scenes that did both gross me out and just made me feel pain... a lot of pain, impressive painful pain.

What ups the score for this otherwise pretty okay but not worth the hype drama is the beautiful combination of brutality and childrens games with extremely well (mis)fitted OST, something that I personally am a complete sucker for and the fact that my very picky and hard to get to watch K-dramas with husband said it was the best K-drama he had seen. the visuals here are just stunning (unless they are gross) and the contrast is just so good and hits all the right spots for me. I also liked to hate most of the characters and did enjoy some great (dark) humor and one liners from some of the contestants.

So this is not something for the faint hearted but for those of you with a somewhat bloody darkside this may just hit the spot. Just don´t get to attached to anyone....

I thought I was ready for this ....

..... i wasn't :(
Before i started this drama, I unintentionally came across a lot of spoilers and knew that this drama has a pretty sad ending but i watched it nonetheless since i was a sucker for historical dramas ( + ren jia lun + bai lu )
As i began watching One and Only, i was immediately drawn in by the amazing chemistry between the two main leads, Bai Lu and Ren Jia Lun. They are both such versatile actors/actresses. The emotions they conveyed on screen felt so real. I laughed, smiled, felt worried and CRIED with them.
After a few episodes, i noticed not only the main leads were outstanding; all the supporting casts acted out their roles very well too. Shiyi's seniors were so warm, nice and genuine while Zhou Sheng Chen's friends (Prince Pingqin, Huan Yu, Xiao Yan) were very cupid-like ;) Even the antagonists (Liu ZiXing, Empress Dowager etc) and other supporting characters did so well!
If you are unsure whether to watch this drama or not, i would definitely recommend if you don't mind bawling your eyes out (I started crying like a baby at episode 16 and ESPECIALLY the last three episodes) I'm also in love with the cinematography in One and Only. All scenes were so mesmerising and the OSTs!! Gosh, Ren Jia Lun's vocals got me putting his song on repeat.
All in all, huge kudos to all casts, crews, producers, director & novel-writer! One of my favourite dramas, for sure.
Ren Jia Lun, Bai Lu & all the casts will bring you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. Buckle up!

Healing story that makes your heart mealt

This show is absolutely amazing. I only started watching it because of Kim seon oh, since I really enjoyed his performance in Start up, but from the first five minutes I was hooked. As someone who often feels lost in life, I can assure you this drama does a great job in portraying the feeling of starting over, of making mistakes, accepting them and trying to be better. It gives you hope, and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy. The main leads are incredible, their chemistry is over the top and the dynamic between the two of them feels very real and healthy from the start. The villagers are also one of the things that make this drama so special, they're really a big family who support each other through everything, and they also add a lot of comic relief. I haven't finished the series, I'll make a better review once I do but, for now, the only thing I can say is, if you're feeling down, if you need a spark of warmth and happiness in your life, please give this drama a shot, it will be your cure.

Quick Fluff.

This is adapted from a shouju manga and it shows. But, I still watched it anyway.

--- It's a really silly story, but I found this one much more bearable than Coffee and Vanilla. The leads actually had reasons to fall for each other, however ridiculous it was.

--- The FL Momo-chan, though appearing over excited, was definitely not dumb. There are moments I saw that she did have a serious side that she used her 'help everyone' attitude to hide.

--- There were a few amusing supporting characters whom I found interesting. Plus, all the cast had acting skills.

--- It only had 10 episodes that are around 22 minutes long. No need of brains to watch this.

I began this to get out of a drama slump. It served it's purpose well. So, it's a 6.5 from me.

Less religion more drama

The series has allot less of a jesus loves you vibe to it and allot more drama with some loving, wonderful adults and a bunch of adults that made me yet again ashamed to be part of the adult community. While Dominic is this super patient sweetheart in the movie in the drama we get to see other not so nice sides to him reminding us that this is a real person living a complicated life than many gay teens probably can relate too.

There where a few scenes that broke my heart, some that made my heart flutter and some that made me laugh but there where also some scenes that just felt unnecessary which brought down the score abit. Some parts where also more predictable than others...

All in all definitely worth watching but be where there is pain and suffering to come. Also Luke's mom rocks!

Pretty good

Since I love romance (especially rom com), there was not enough romance for me, lack of chemistry between leads (I didn’t feel the focus was romance.) That said, WONDERFUL show about friendships. Friendship between female leads and between the female lead and 2nd male lead. I totally had second lead syndrome - Siwon was terrific. They didn’t use the usual storyline of possessive people or evil parents, which was much appreciated. She didn’t seem too upset that he was leaving for a year - which kind of went along with the lack of chemistry.
