This is really just a funny story about friends exploring Harajuku and event that happen to all five of 5. It was completely different than what i was expecting.

Of course i decided to watch this for Arashi. And well....their characters were extremely funny, weird, and cool. especially Ohno, he has an act at acting...weird haha.

I really loved the theme for this movie. It has a rock vibe but is still pop-like Arashi.

all in all, it's a really cute movie & it doesn't hurt that all 5 arashi members are in this movie. for how, I guess, plain the plot sounds, it was a good movie and I rewatch it all the time

Daebak!!! I just finished this drama and it was amazing. The story is suspenseful and consistent. I admit that I was stalled at episode 2 for a while, but once I got through episode 3, I was hooked. It has a beautiful romance and some crazy conspiracy theories. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if an organization like IRIS actually existed. War is money and power...there is always someone that wants it enough to destroy lives and countries to obtain it. I know a lot of people hated the end, but I saw that coming by episode 5.

The acting is phenomenal. Lee Byung Hun has just moved up in my rankings an actor. His ability to make his character Kim Hyun Jun come alive is exceptional. Not to mention that he is HOT!!! That smile is beautiful. Kim So Yeon as Kim Sun Hwa is my favorite character out of this drama. I am now planning to watch everything that she has been in. She played that character to perfection. I enjoyed Kim Tae Hee, Jung Joon Ho, and Kim Seung Woo also. I had no idea that Kim Seung Woo could be so charismatic. I watch him on the Korean variety show 1N2D where he is funny. It was nice to see him act. Last but certainly not least...TOP...although he didn't say much, who cares. He was totally HOT in this drama. Why do I always like the bad guys? LOL

The music is ok.

I would rewatch this at some point.

If you like action, suspense and romance, then this is the drama to watch. Now on to IRIS 2...I hope it will be as good!!!

I never thought that I would actually watch 'Switch Girl' one day. I usually tend to drop these types of dramas or give it a really low rating, but it was different in this case. I'm not gonna lie. There were a lot of over dramatic moments and stupid moments in here, but that's the point! I laughed throughout every single episode. I love the chemistry, the PROPER kisses, the cute moments, & how the friends bonded. This type of drama may not be for you, but you should still give it a try. You might end up liking it like I did :]

STORY-7. Although the story is kind of meaningless and random at A LOT of times, I honestly didn't mind. I smiled and laughed throughout every single episode. It was hilarious. I think it's because I haven't watched a romantic comedy in such a LONG time. I've been watching more dark-action packed dramas.. and watching this really lightened up my mood. Cuteness, cuteness, and CUTENESS everywhere! If you're looking for a drama that can you make you laugh and squealing out of cuteness, this is it guys! You might think that it's stupid, but just give it a try! It won't hurt!

ACTING/CAST 8-The acting wasn't too bad, but it wasn't 'great' either. I LOVE the chemistry between Nika and Arata. I could feel their love. And their kisses were proper too. They don't look like they're uncomfortable together. SO CUTE KAWAII! I feel like the cast is just perfect for this drama. I would not replace anyone else and exchange them for this cast.

RE WATCH VALUE-8, I actually marathoned through BOTH seasons! I couldn't get out of my seat! It's worth re watching as well! I would re watch this after finishing a sad depressing drama and has a sad ending.

I think you guys should give this a try. Who knows, you might end up enjoying it more than you think you would!

Well, I think sometimes it's important at what time you watch a drama. I'm not talking about morning, afternoon or night. I'm talking about the mood you're in. When this drama aired I was interested but I didn't start it right away. It went on my list but at some point I almost forgot about it. So, now, after watching so many crime dramas and other genres, I kinda misssed the good old revenge melodrama. And there it was, Secret. Right in front of me and it didn't fail any expectations.

Since the synopsis is what made everyone curious about the drama first, it's not like you were thrown into cold water. So, of course I knew what was coming. After showing the key incident, the drama starts quietly to show how everything began. After that, most times it just evolves in a way you maybe already foresee - but in a good way, it's not getting boring or someting. It's more like you're anticipating every new development as you want to know whether your judgement was right or not. It's also not without surprises. There are plenty of surprises as well.

What makes the story and the drama so valuable is the cast. Seriously, this awesome cast! Except for Ji Sung and Bae Su Bin I didn't know anyone of the actors here (ok, some of the supporting roles I've seen already somewhere else, but that's not the point here). I only knew Ji Sung from Protect The Boss where he was really good but didn't make me follow his work further. And as for Bae Su Bin... only saw him in 49 Days but can't recall his acting there since it's been too long. So, at the end I was very surprised by all those astonishing actors esp. him. He totally nailed his role here and kinda changed my view of him. So, overall all of them never failed to impress me. Whether it was the bad guys or the good guys or the good ones who turned bad or vice versa. At no point I was ever annoyed by their actions or behaviour whether they acted just like jerks or hypocrites or threw stones in the good guys' ways. I could always comprehend their actions and even loved those moments.

In the end that's the most charming point of this drama, the acting, plus a good script. There are some scenes where you think: 'If that didn't happen, things would have turned out different. She would have ended up with someone else.' It's rare, that I have those thoughts about a drama.

Furthermore, you can actually see the character development here. Not from one person or two but everyone. That's quite enjoyable because you don't have to worry that one of them might fail your expectations. I have to admit, some side characters remained a bit shallow and at some point it bothered me. But in the end I think I can forgive that. (I'm even a little surprised at how the company thing turned out in the end.)

If I had watched this drama when it aired, I don't think I would have had the same feelings towards it. Don't get me wrong, it would still not have effected the rating. Just the feeling would have been somewhat different although I don't know how to explain it.

At some point I thought I wouldn't want to rewatch the drama because the same anxiousness wouldn't be there or at least be the same as the first time. But now I think different. The first half of the drama was very intriguing, watching that vengeful person slowly turning and not being able to resist any longer in the end.

So, to cut it short: I enjoyed this drama very much!

Big disappointment

Another drama that was destroyed by the weak writing, mediocre execution, and lacking end.

This one had an exciting start. The first three episodes were interesting and captivating. The story looked promising but everything went downhill after the third episode. It got so boring, that I had to skip every 10 seconds, plus everything became so predictable.
The story itself was kind of interesting at first but then it became so dull and basically, every episode felt like a filler episode, with no plot whatsoever. The acting was alright but it felt like something is missing most of the time. The same goes for the story. The whole drama felt like it was unfinished. Most of the scenes were boring, there was little to no story development and everything could've been done in fine episodes max with a longer run time.
The music was nothing special either.
I know that not every BL should be a top-notch series but I was expecting and wanted more from this one.

You can easily skip this one.

Gonna be honest with you- this was just an okay series

I have completed this Korean BL series. And what can I say? I felt that it was just an okay series that I believe had so much potential, but, unfortunately, did not live up to it.

Story-7/10
I honestly felt that the series started off good. But something happened along the way. I mean, I was totally invested in the relationship of Seo Hae Won and Baek Eun Gyu. And then just so, we are told that Cha Ji Soo also like him. But, like you just know there is no way that this is a so called love triangle. Cause any body, even a blind person, can see that Seo Hae Won likes Baek Eun Gyu. What was the point of this aspect of the storyline? Doesn't make sense to me. And then i just got confused at the end because Baek Eun Gyu has left Seo Hae Won for a year to go and find/visit (I don't even know which one it is, cause I just glazed over) his father who is in Florida. So...yeah. And because of these random storylines trying to be told on an eleven minute eight episodes series, pacing here will clearly be an issue. But just because I like the beginning before all of this, I give this series a 7.

Acting/Cast-7/10
Kim Yoo Hwan acting stood out the most in this series out of all the actors. So, because of that, I will give it a 7.

Music-7.5/10
Honest to God, I forgot what the music sounded like. So, I had to go back and play it. And it actually sounds good. But because I forgot how it sounded, I'm going to give the music a 7.5.

Rewatch Valu-5/10
I actually do not see myself watching this series anytime soon again. I felt that for me this series really didn't make that much of an impact for me to say I won't watch it or to also say that I will watch it. It wasn't that memorable to me.

Overall-6.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 6.5. Personally, to me, it just wasn't that memorable to leave any sort of impression.

3 Nen A Kumi: wow it blew my mind!
As a fan of suspense drama's i was quickly hooked on this and binge watched it in 1 day. The story was deep and filled with twists. You could hate some characters at the beginning of episodes and totally feel different about them towards the end. It was a beautiful drama with a messages also relatable to todays society!
Of course it is still a Japanese drama ( so some characters can 'act' a bit over the top) but that has never bothered me and i think the acting fitted this drama and made it even more touching. Especially Suda Masaki's acting was Top-notch!
If you wanna watch a beautiful, emotional and deep story about the influence of others on each other's lives, i highly recommend this drama!

Loved it

I loved this drama so much and although it was good that it wasnt one of those long dramas that drag on with more and more silly plot twists... I actually wished this was longer because I enjoyed it so much. A beautiful romantic love story with amazing chemistry between Anne and James. Wish they had made an extra couple of episodes to show more romantic scenes between the two leads as the last episode was a bit rushed and I was like it's over now. The main song melody was really beautiful and I immediately had to download it. Hope to see more dramas with the 2 of them together. Age is just a number.

Dear Akko-chan
The story has a faint touch of heart. It was warm, but not hot. I have no feelings towards the characters at the end of the movie.
It reminded me of the fairy tales that I watched and read. "They lived happily ever after. The End."

I do like the characters. Although your character's movement was a little too exaggerated. At one scene, surrounded by dull business attires, it reminded me of "Legally Blonde".

Although the story was a child's play, it was okay. I don't really pay attention to the background music.

It was mostly sunny, bright, and very cheery. I don't believe I would watch it again. It was a bit unrealistic for me. There was a readily prepared prince charming at the beginning of the movie. It was fair since came from a children's anime series.

Let the bells ring of love. This drama had it all comedy, romance, and amazing acting so I know people are wondering why I give the drama such average scores with the exception of acting. Allow me to explain myself first.

The story actually had a great start. Instead of skipping the two main leads Zheng Xiao Xiang(Chang Janine) and Ren Jia Kai( Ho Peter)the writers allowed us to see their background story and how they met before they are separated due to events. When they meet again the love they had for each other, but never blossom blooms as they face problems to keep the love intact. I loved the story. I thought it was original and fresh.
I had no major problems with the story with the exception of the tug of war girls, but they are not the reason I gave Story a 7, the pace is. The show started with a nice pace, yet towards the end in my opinion the pace slowed as the twist and turns surfaced. The ending was a nice one I just wish the pace didn't slowed down as much as it did. You could tell they were trying to drag the story on around episode 13. Other than that great story.
The music is similar. At first I loved the twinkle little star song and it played at appropriate times, yet towards the end it played seemingly whenever. One of the hardest thing about a show is the music. If there is no variety in the bgm(background music) it becomes repetitive and people start to hate it. I think that if they added a few more songs it wouldn't have been so bad.
My favorite thing about this drama is the acting! All the characters held an important role in the story, well except the tug of war girls. Ho Peter is a great male lead and him and Chang Janine had great chemistry. You would think they were a real couple. The chemistry between Chang Janine and the second guy Wang Ke Jie(Xiu Jie Kai) was also good, however the adorable little girl Duo Duo stole my heart. Deng Tracy is one of the best child actors in the Asian drama world. When she cries you cry with her, she is that believable. Never had I felt so much raw emotion from a child actor her age at the intensity I did in this show. I hope I see more of her.
I hoped I explained well enough about my scores. Overall, I liked this show and I would watch it again. I'd have to skip Duo Duo parts to avoid crying. Its a really nice show and regardless of whether or not you agree with this review I hope you check it out.

First of all, I don't understand why people hate this drama or doesn't like it.
I understand that we judge the actors especially if they are a singer... because I've done it before and seen it before..from the comments and review.
AND... WE SHOULDN'T DO THAT. THAT'S NOT RIGHT. Plus, I know some of yall..including me, want to support our singers for coming to the acting industries...So.. let's do that and not be bitchy.
THANK YOU ;))
But... I recommend you watching it before you give your own opinion.
Read the story and not the actors' story/life/past/etc.
For me, I like this drama. There may be flaws and such but the romance, his personality, and their chemistry is soo cute.
Ha Yeon Soo is sooo kawaiii!! Her baby face is just soo adorable.
I first met her on Running Man... and her chemistry with Jongkook was so hot that when I searched her up.. I thought she's 22 yrs old but wow she's 29yrs old!! (30 in Korea)
And ofcourse. Suho! I've always wanted to watch this drama to support my EXOssss and the OLD HUMAN being from the group hahaha.
This is my first drama of watching Suho's acting, and I love it!! His attitude in his character, him being a bitch and giving those arrogant - and not so caring look.
I love those scenes whenever he smirks. SO ffff HOT!
Overall, the cast was good, the problem and major plot was shocking.
I was thinking that ''''''' might be the cause..but waw I was right. xD
There was some confusion in the story, especially the kid who draw arts on the street... they just left him and come back in the end.
I wish they had accident kiss and more kissing scenes.. but the drama itself was good. I like it.
I might come back and re watch the cheesy and funny moment hahah.
The ending was <3!!!
really recommend if you want to watch something richy and bossy, arrogant man. HAHAH

A mixed bag

I’ll be honest, I almost dropped this drama so many times through my watch, but managed to keep my interest just enough for me to continue.

This isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy this drama at all..I did, but I found it very frustrating frequently.

The main source of my frustration really came from Soel’s constant insistence to excuse Joeng’s toxic and very often manipulative behavior...often coming to the conclusion she has to attempt to understand him more etc.
Every time she’d find out about a situation he caused I’d think “okay, this’ll be the final straw..she’s gonna put her foot down” only to come to this conclusion.

I found myself being the most drawn to In-ho’s portion of the story... not just his relationship to Soel, but his entire journey from being a “delinquent” type starting over, to overcoming his fear of approaching the piano again...
I also found his conflicts much more engaging..dealing with his friendship and later love with Soel..his conflict with Jeong and In-ha (who is insufferable) his damaged hand and gang past.
I really believe he’s what kept me watching.

Definitely would’ve preferred a relationship with him and Soel, who I felt had much more chemistry.

This leads me to the ending which I really can’t say I’m fond of.
Soel and In-ho oddly kinda...dropped eachother? Him confessing really did completely ruin their friendship and it seemed like Soel..who seemed to value their relationship earlier, just didn’t seem to even care that he was leaving or keeping in contact...even the last mention of him seemed to make her uncomfortable...

A lot of the conflicts built up just seemed to dissipate at the end in an unsatisfying way..like suddenly the injured hand is no longer an issue..the gang is no longer an issue etc..it made this drama feel like it just suddenly...stopped? Not to even mention that she technically isn’t even with Jeong at the end (although it implies they’ll get back together)
Just a very messy ending all-around.

This Korean action packed, school life, bromance drama is as good as it gets. These teens have dissimilar personalities, come from different backgrounds and yet, their fighting prowess creates a bond so strong, it topples the current high school kings from their thrones.

Lee Jeong Woo – the apathetic loner, seems to have, with little to no effort, gathered the best wolves and become the leader of the pack. Together, these guys are unstoppable; whether outclassed or outnumbered, they are a force to be reckoned with. You mess with one, you must mess with them all.

Great drama, but much too short, in my opinion. There are only 12 episodes that are run about 15 minutes each, but I guarantee you will be totally absorbed the entire 15 minutes. Realistic fight scenes, no special effects, which makes it just that much more hardcore and exciting. Great character development and plenty of laughs and attitude. This drama is symbolic ‘High School Cliques’.

The Lady in the Swing and the Man in Love

I rarely give a 10; the last one was "Crash Landing on You," almost 3 years ago. This series is over half completed with the 2nd half now well underway. It began by teasing us with flirtations and long looks: a beautiful man with a fan loving a charming woman more than himself. It then advanced to the man dropping the fan that was only a distraction anyway to the real man, the experienced warrior behind those eyes who risks his life repeatedly, and the “girl on a swing” revealing herself as a brave warrior who assumes the leadership role to protect other women and children.

The series has steadily moved us through numerous scenes of increasing danger and heartbreak, that were leading us to where we are now. It is a love story, yes, but it is also about invasion, war, escape, resistance, horror, and the violent treatment of the poor, elderly, women and children in a horrific reverse of their community into a war zone with them as the sacrifice.

It is terrifying, heartbreaking. And no love story can change that. But it can give us hope. The woman in the love story is brave and resolute in protecting others. GC has become the woman LJH saw and fell in love with the first day as he watched her floating high on the swing. And he is not just the man who loves and protects her but is also revealed as the resistance fighter who saw her from the beginning and knew who she was. As he tells Ryang, “you do not know what she means to me.” But we do, and they would both do anything to save the other in this constantly evolving love story moving steadily into the finest of Korean Dramas.

"My Dearest" Eps 18 & 19
I was able to sit down with my morning coffee and enjoy both episodes this weekend.
And it was very interesting to see how the entire series was moving this way all along-just as the writer and direction teams intended. For this is not just the romance most of us here share an abiding hope will be fulfilled, but also a historical study of the Qing invasion and its effects on Joseon, its people at all levels, and its future. These are all seen in the madness of the king taken out on his own people and family, the grief of the people-symbolized in the death of the baby, that the mother must bury with her own hands-and the shared anguish of the citizens just trying to return home but slaughtered by the misuse of power.
Additionally, there is more than one love story, and they are on multiple levels. But of course the central love story is that of JH and C: who at the beginning seem to be a man with a waving fan but who is so much more, and a woman with a rising swing who finds out who she really is through his love for her. If the writer closes next weekend the way she seems to be moving, the outcome may be as complex, as is the historical reality. And it may also be one of Drama's greatest achievements. But even if it falls short, the writer, production team, cast, and composers have given us a series that many of us love. That is an achievement in itself. So onward to next weekend with hope and maybe a few tears. Either way, it's been a grand ride.

—AJ McAninch.
