I enjoyed this show a lot and found it hard to stop watching. There were a lot of good aspects—the detailed realism (with some exceptions) about the operations of the business, most of the acting, the emotional intensity, etc. But there were a few things that really annoyed me about the show. It’s easier to criticize than to praise, so I’ll focus on the bad things, but keep in mind that overall I recommend this show.

Misleading Start. The premise looked interesting (realistic workplace drama), so I had high hopes when I started watching this. However, the drawn out Hollywood-style action chase sequence that began the show threw me for a loop, and I dropped it immediately (just like what happened with Memories of the Alhambra). Several weeks later, I decided to give it another chance, wondering if maybe that beginning didn’t accurately represent the rest of the show. It turned out to be totally misleading. If I were on the creative staff, I would have left out the entire Jordan stuff, both at the beginning and the end, because it clashes with the rest of the show. I don’t understand the intention. Someone looking for a serious office drama like me might be turned off by the action stuff at the beginning and stop watching. But someone who enjoyed that opening might be disappointed by the rest of the show.

Lead Actor. Overall the cast did a great acting job. However, the lead, Im Shi Wan was terrible. He was just a cold fish totally lacking in charisma or ability to communicate. It was hard to believe that everyone loved him so much. This may not be the actor’s fault. Maybe the director and writer wanted him to act like an inarticulate babo. If that’s the case, then his acting was perfect. But he didn’t express the drive, passion, creativity, and intelligence that his character was supposed to have. And even though his character is supposed to be boyish and naive, I thought he looked and acted more like 16 than 26. I would have preferred either Byun Yo Han or Kang Ha Neul in that role.

Repeated Scenes. This is only the 3rd K drama that I’ve watched all the way through (after Age of Youth 1-2 and Live), so I’m still learning about the genre conventions, but one major thing I’ve noticed is the overuse of repeated scenes to fill out the air time. Seriously, I would guess that maybe 1/5 to 1/4 of the entire run time consists of repeated scenes (flashbacks, important words played back in characters’ memories, etc.). This has to stop! My time is precious, and I really resent having to waste it seeing the same scenes over and over again. I had to use the skip forward button a lot, but this is imprecise. I would much rather that all that crap was just cut out and the episodes just lasted 45 mins or less. I understand with limited budgets and set airtimes that need to be filled with content, this is a standard practice, but I wish K dramas (or at least the ones I’ve watched so far) relied less on these kinds of cheap tricks.

Other Filler. Unfortunately, replayed scenes aren’t the only filler used in this show. Another way to cheaply and easily fill up airtime is to have characters run into each other 1) in the coffee/copy room, 2) break room, 3) elevator lobby, 3) on the roof, 4) in the stairwell, 5) in the garden, 6) in front of the bldg, etc., and stop and stare at each other silently for 5 mins., and then either 1) nod and walk away, 2) bow and walk away, 3) say “Jang Geu Rae Shi” and walk away, 4) say let’s get some coffee or let’s drink, 5) or if you’re lucky, one of them will say 1 sentence about something that’s going on while the other (usually Jang Geu Rae Shi) stares at the ground silently. I can’t think of a single one of these scenes that actually advances the plot, so I would cut them. The result would be a lean mean show of like half hour episodes.

Over the Top Misery and Villainy. I like shows and movies that are very realistic. And in real life, you almost never meet people who are absolutely evil all the way through. People are usually complicated and have their good sides and bad sides. The show did a good job of portraying some flawed people who still had some good sides deep down or changed during the show. However, there were several characters who were just pure evil, like the head of the resource department, Byun Yo Han’s boss, An Yeong Yi’s dad, the jealous resentful intern, the new hire who commits fraud, etc. All of these people need to die immediately. But they were hateful caricatures of evil. The show would have been much better if all these people were shown to have more complex and sympathetic sides. Also, if their abuse of the other characters was toned down and more realistic, this would have been better. I’m sure there’s lots of bullying, hazing, close-minded bureaucracy, sexism, and other kinds of discrimination and corruption in the Korean business world, but my guess is that it’s not quite as bad as depicted in Misaeng.

That’s it. Watch the show though, it’s very engaging and addictive.

This is a beautiful drama and I am having withdrawal symptoms! I initially wanted to skip it think it would be too serious and slow paced. It was actually amazingly paced especially considering how many episodes are usually wasted in kdramas where they have to play the cliche games between ML, FL and any second lead. This drama was a mature romance where people said what they meant (for the most part - that happens IRL). That’s the thing. It was just so realistic!

The couple had great chemistry. I ship them for real <3

The sisters’ relationship was phenomenal and made me miss my sister.

Strong female roles, especially FL. She spoke her mind, stood up for what she believed in and didn’t put up with anybody’s bs, including her own father’s.

Every character’s acting was on point! The dialogue was written so naturally and all of the actors delivered.

I loved the little kid. In fact, I wish there was more “family” scenes because it was just so heartwarming.

I am sad it had to end and I can’t imagine finding another drama as sweet as this drama was. I seriously looked forward to every episode!

Cute and nicely made with a bit of unfulfilled potential

Semantic Error is nicely produced. There isn't much that is original about this BL, be it the enemies-to-lovers plot, the 'opposites attract' sort of romance or the problem that one party is going overseas. However, the production value is high and the computing metaphor is nicely sustained throughout.

There is nice attention to detail. I like how Sang Woo's costume changes reflect the changes in his personality, like how he stops wearing checkered shirts and then stops wearing a cap everywhere. And while the enemies-to-lovers plot may have at least one party being rather toxic, in this case, they are mostly just being childish.

While the series has been very well received, I somehow find that an additional something could have brought it to greater heights. The BL couple is likable; they look cute together and the kissing scenes are nicely shot. Yet, I can't help but feel that something more could be done about the depth of their love. We see them thinking about each other and pining for each other after they have a fight, but perhaps the complexity of each of their feelings could have been more strongly depicted. And I'm not talking about the introduction of passionate sex scenes or things like that. But when Jae Young gives Sang Woo a birthday present, for instance, perhaps the process of how he prepares the present could have been shown to show how much he really cares. Sometimes the scenes that do help to show their feelings are a little too brief. The symbolic significance of the scene in which Sang Woo looks at a picture Jae Young has drawn on his hand could have been explored more deeply. It could show Sang Woo's sadness when he thinks that Jae Young is disappearing from his life. It could also show how Sang Woo is being wistful thinking about how quickly the time he spends with Jae Young has passed although Jae Young has been a nuisance to him at first. Of course, it can also show that he is thinking of how they won't last long as a couple even if they start a relationship. Unfortunately, the scene is a little too brief to really help explore Sang Woo's thoughts and emotions fully.

The characters are people who are easy to like and care about, which is always a good thing for a BL series. However, I think I could have felt more for them if the full potential of the scenes had been fulfilled.

I watched this straight off after watching the parent series and although I wasn't particularly attached to this couple, Prince Che and Yin Cai Qian, I decided to watch it--and did not regret it! (If you haven't seen the parent series, that would be recommended before you start this.)

In fact, this spinoff made me enjoy this couple a lot more. In the original series, Prince Che was the one chasing Yin Cai Qian a lot and we saw a lot more of his perspective on how he felt about her. In this spinoff, we get to see Yin Cai Qian go through obstacles to fight for her love.

I enjoyed this premise a lot as well: entering the dream realm to help Che's 3 pains. In doing so, Cai Qian learns who Che is before he was in love with her and they go through obstacles to trust one another. Cai Qian and Che's dynamic and chemistry really carries this show. (Although I enjoy Ming Yan & Yuan Li in the original series, they are a bit stiffer in this spinoff and their scenes are not as romantic. It's unfortunate because they had a lot of potential to do more in this series.)

Cai Qian and Che's relationship has always been more lighthearted and I'm glad the spinoff took advantage of that and gave more comedy to them but also created powerful heartfelt moments between them.

Unique plot for a historical drama about getting the throne

Acting:
I LOVED this drama, Park Ji Hoon's acting was amazing, I thought I wouldn't like Hong Ye Ji's acting because I've only heard bad stuff about it, but her acting was good. Her character is an assassin, it makes sense why she wouldn't really be very expressive. The ML is either possessed or has another personality (I am not sure, but I think historically they'd say a person is possessed if they had another personality), he went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the drama and expressed them amazingly well, I especially loved his portrayal of Ak Hee.

Plot:
The plot was really unique for a historical drama focusing on 2 'brothers' trying to get the throne. A lot of historical dramas about Kings/Prince's have this type of plot, but this one was unique mostly because it had a very soft ML.

Sajo Hyun did not like violence at all and hated how horrible of a King his father was, and I don't think he ever changed, he just stopped being meek. He also did not want the throne, neither of his personalities did, one wanted to make clothes and the other just hated politics (though he was very good at it). Honestly, there wouldn't have even been a fight for the throne had the Grand Prince (the brother) just been a decent person.

I loved Ak Hee, I had SLS for Ak Hee, but Sajo Hyun grew on me later on in the drama when he started to develop a lot of the attributes I like about Ak Hee. Ak Hee was such a hilarious (and adorable) character. I loved his sarcasm and his attitude, he was a mood. He truly did not care about anyone but Kyera/ Yeon Wol, I hated that she never saw his feelings as sincere. Ak Hee is treated as though he is the human embodiment of greed, and nothing else despite the fact that he is able to feel love and pain. He was only treated like a human at the begining of the drama, but later on he is treated as though he is just an evil spirit, and not part of Sajo Hyun.

There were a lot of plot twists in this drama, you don't really know whether Ak Hee is good or bad , if anything he was just greedy, which made him anxious, which made him do stupid things.

I also did not hate the Princess Consort, I didn't like her at all at the start, but then you get to see that even though she is selfish, she is not a bad person and she is also not really the MLs love interest. She had a lot of character development despite not having much on screen time.

I think the only thing I did not like about this drama was how Sajo Hyun and Ak Hee did not even try to understand Yeon Wol's hate of Sajo Hyun's father. Her hate and revenge were completely justified, though the vengeance itself was not very satisfying.

SPOILER - Ending:
I loved the ending of this drama. I never expected a satisfying happy ending for this type of drama, but this one had one.
Though Ak Hee is sort of killed of (I interpreted it as Sajo Hyun becoming mentally strong enough to no longer need Ak Hee), by the end of the drama Sajo Hyun becomes a lot like Ak Hee, and the pathological lying and greed aside, Ak Hee also becomes somewhat like Sajo Hyun.

Playboyy the series at the beginning can be quite confusing the storyline but if you keep with it some things do become clearer as episodes go on.

At the end of season1 their is still alot to be uncovered.

Shouldn't have existed

I initially dropped it b/c I thought the problem was the switch of actresses, but after death's game and moving I grew to love the actress. So I started it again,
turns out the problem wasn't the actress nor the chemistry, the writing was just unbearably soap-level bad:
- They dragged out the amnesia until the last 2 episodes, and they had no reaction to it, b/c he was already in love with the new Naksu and didn't care about the old one that much apparently.
- Naksu had a personnality transplant and lost all brain, they turned our smart lead into a damsel, she never got her powers back.
- The secondary characters were just there,
- there was no solid plot just milking a soapy story
- I couldn't follow the characters logic in anything...

Anyway a total waste of my time, fortunately the FL did other projects and won't be remembered for this flop

I love stories with Sign Language. I think it is a beautiful form of communication. I tried to find books to learn it, but there are so many  (American, British, Spanish, Mexican) so I am not sure which one to  get. Anyway, I strongly recommend this dorama to people who watched/read "Koe no Katachi" and loved it. The big difference is that this story is not in school, but the adult life of a deaf girl. How she starts to be part of the society (by working), how she meets her future husband, how other people who meet her starts to learn Sign Language. How hard for her is to become a mother, to be married, etc. The story is  simple, yet beautiful. I shed many tears while watching it, and it is not because it is a sad story. No, it is simply because there are certain scenes that were too emotional. Like when her future-mother-in-law comes to Mieko's house to ask her to please not marry her son. Like the speech Mieko's daughter gives at school, both  out loud and with signs. And all the times someone talks to her (thru  signs) for the first time: Hirofumi, his mother, the doctor, etc. It was so poignant every time someone tried their best to talk to her.Kanno Miho is the sweetest girl and best fit for this role. She cries many times throughout the 5 episodes, but they all were understandable. Since she is deaf, she has little confidence in herself, and for every mistake or hardship that brings her deafness to the people she loves, she blames  herself. Thank Godness she marries the most patient and sweetest guy on  Earth. Besides her, I loved, LOVED the mothers: her mother and  her mother-in-law. Strong women who loved Mieko, and some time later,  their granddaughter. My favorite episodes were 1, 2 and 3. I have watched Episode 1 twice (I finished this a couple of days ago, and  rewatched Ep. 1 yesterday). There are only 5 episodes, 1 hour and 30  minutes long. First episode is from 1997, 2nd from 1998, 3rd from 1999,  4th from 2000 and the last one from 2001. Like most people, I prefer to watch recent dorama, but it is for the quality of the video only. In regards to story, oldies are better: they are simpler, they are sweeter.  Romance is much better without cellphones and other technologies. For  example, in this dorama, there are no cellphones, so Mieko and Hirofumi  send each other faxes to talk at night. Isn't that cute? The song "I just called to say I love you" fit the dorama perfectly. Beautiful story, totally recommended!

This drama started so well. It has all the ingredients that makes it a gem for me, but the end ruined it for me.
The story was kinda refreshing for melodrama lovers. The tone and the ambiance of the drama were relaxing and the scenery was stunning. But near the end, I found unnecessary fillers just intended to make the audience cry and feel desperate.
Acting-wise; Lee Jun Ho was great. You can feel his emotions through his facial expressions. Won Jin Ah also did a good job, and all the cast too. But Jun Ho was the scene stealer.
OSTs were mainly ballads and melodious. But when the show ends, nothing is memorable, except maybe I Open My Eyes.
For melodrama and romance lovers, they can watch it again, but I am sure they have more valuable dramas to spend time for.
Overall, it was a nice journey that I enjoyed most of it but for the last four episodes.

The king loved the court lady, but did the court lady love the king?

This is gonna be a lengthy review because it will also summarize what other viewers disliked and liked, and i'll express my opinion about those. Don't worry because ill put a ( SPOILER ) and ( END OF SPOILER ) notice at every part that contains one.

The Red Sleeve is a sageuk that will remain in your heart for an eternity, truly an unforgettable one. The fact that it's based on a true romance in history makes it a lot more impactful. If you're a sucker for true to life stories, then this is the one for you.

This is not the typical and most ideal romance, especially considering their differences in character such as their social class, beliefs and priorities. No matter how much we want everything to go smoothly, that will never happen especially in that era. This is not the lovey dovey story you might have in prospect for- and it was never supposed to be. From the start- the director and cast emphasized it as a "mournful court romance", and it stayed true to its elucidation.

The story and characters are a immeasurably more complex than it seems. It was challenging to analyze the scenarios because it does not portray and give details in a straightforward way. You need a vast effort to consider the context of the story and put yourself in their shoes to fully understand the character, in which a lot of people seemed to have conflicted in.

Now I'm gonna talk about the elements I saw some people didn't like to state my counterarguments because a lot watched this impetously without rumination over what kind of narrative it intended to be. But I'm also gonna address those I didn't like as well.

1. Palace politics
A lot claimed the palace politics to be boring and unnecessary. I beg to differ. It wouldn't be plausible if Yi San had it easy taking the throne because he's the son of one of the most controversial crown princes. The palace politics also effectuated us to go in depth to Yisan and King Yeongjo's character and relationship. More importantly, it showed how Deokim was solely the one who cared for yi san without pretense during those times (maybe alongside taeho), thus contributing immensely to how she earned a special place in his heart.

( SPOILER ) What I found unnecessary though was that it had to be a cult of court ladies. the details of any scene related to it that would happen later on could be replaced with ease. The court ladies being the assassins was essential, but having a whole hideout underneath Court Lady Cho's room was just ridiculous. ( END OF SPOILER )

The politics could've been better, but it wasn't necessarily something I disliked.

2. Pacing
Not that it's something i hated, but I do agree that the pacing was undoubtedly the one that is responsible for most of the drama's shortcomings, fortunately everything else managed to compensate for it. The mid part should've been a bit faster, while the last 6 episodes should've been slower. It's as if they were taking their time then they suddenly realize there are only a few episodes left. The drama should've had no less than 20 episodes. They should've wisely pondered how many and which subplots of the novel would fit in those 16 episodes. It would've been hard to immerse in the scenes if the acting wasn't out of this world. If it had a few more episodes, the latter part would've been perfect. This also would've gave way to more scenes that would complete the drama and make it more impactful.

( SPOILER ) I particularly wanted a happy scene of Yisan, Deokim and Crown Prince Munhyo. Yisan has always wanted to create a family with Deokim, but only their son's death was shown. This would've also made his death more griefful. Second is I also wanted Deokim's funeral to be shown, that way it will contrast how Deokim, like Yeongbin in the first episode and unlike Court Lady Cho, died in the palace in an honored way. I also wish that when King Jeongjo was grieving for Deokim, the very famous epitaph he wrote about her was narrated. ( END OF SPOILER ) Due to the limited number of episodes, these scenes couldn't fit in the story but I feel like they were really necessary. An extension to 20 episodes would've done the trick and MBC really should've extended it, considering it's their most successful drama after years.

4. Yisan and Deokim's character
I have a lot to say about this because it appears to me that some people didn't fully go tactfully understand their temperament.
Yisan - was disliked due to a few of his actions towards deokim. On the drama's defense, Yisan in the novel was portrayed as an arrogant asshole. Drama Yisan was actually a very polished form of novel yisan. I don't blame them for disfavoring him, he did a few actions that would turn you off especially if you're envisioning him to fit the 21st century standards, but his character was never supposed to be ideal. I also think that those actions were able to emphasize the power disparity between the two and Yisan's burning desire for Deokim. Even Junho himself highlighted Yisan's "dangerous love". I still appreciate Yisan for never coercing deokim to be his concubine even if it wouldn't be a problem for him to do so, and that the grounds of his anger was never because of her rejection. In fact, it's a very rare case for a court lady to be able to reject a crown prince or a king (and multiple times at that) because it would mean death for them. This just proves he isn't really the red flag some label him to be, particularly in the era they were in. Because i thoroughly understood the circumstances, he didn't trouble me much (I don't blame those who were though). I guess Yisan's romantic side overpowered his flaws for me, and he's such a simp for deokim lmao. Nonetheless, this does not mean he is worship worthy (assuredly the drama did not portray him as such).

Deokim - was disliked for her constant rejections. They could've reduced the rejections a bit, but it didn't matter to me much because her reasoning was understandable. If you ask me, her constant rejection is the core of the story. It gave weightage to her character being firm to her beliefs and priorities. It is true that the real life Deokim rejected Yisan multiple times and yisan actually had to wait for 15 years for her (which was already condensed in the drama). At any rate, there is no doubt that those who hated on Deokim for this reason straightway regretted it after finishing the drama. The last 2 episodes were definitely a slap to their face.

Now onto the things that we all liked <3
// Acting
Every single one of the actors should be considered top tier, even those whose names you've never heard of. Despite the drama's flaws, the acting managed to make up for it. It's been a while since I've seen a sageuk with such praiseworthy actors- even the supporting cast will astonish you. The drama really made a lot of actors' acting skills shine in the dark. Lee Junho utterly embodied Yisan, his character was complex and difficult to portray without looking awkward, but he did it perfectly. While of course our Lee Seyoung, deserves to be applaud for her subtle yet deep facial expressions converying the fathomless emotions of Sung Deokim.

// Cinematography
Second to Mr Sunshine, this undoubtedly has the best cinematography of all time for me. The hues and shots are beyond words. I think it's because the director is a woman, she managed to get us exactly what we wanted in the most beautiful way possible specially because the drama extensively portrays women's struggles.

// Complex characters
I absolutely adore how none of the characters are plain, their personalities are well made and very inticrate. Everyone shows a new side after some time, even the villains will prompt you to sympathize with them (that hwabitch is an exception tho). This makes it challenging to observe each of the characters and how they develop overtime. Additionally, I'm a sucker for characters whose personalities aren't typical.

// Amazing chemistry
As we all say, the drama is a heavy melodrama, whilst the behind the scenes is a whole romcom. THEIR CHEMISTRY IS DREAMY. the combinations were something we didn't expect, but it was absolutely perfect. It fascinates me they thought of putting together such a cast and especially the two leads.

It is crystal clear how the drama won 8 awards out of 13 nominations while it was still ongoing. The quality is out of this world. The writing is not perfect, but to be honest I don't remember what the flaws exactly were because the rest was too magnificent and impactful! It's hard to describe the writing, but let's just say it was imperfect, yet perfectly beautiful. It's impossible to think rationally after ending the drama, there were a lot lines that will forever be engraved in my heart, as well as lines that stabbed a knife in it perennially. Even if the writing had flaws, I couldn't be more gratified with the script.

The beauty of this drama is that everything is very complex. It allows the viewers to have varying opinions and interpretations about the characters and scenes. The drama also doesn't gloss over the obvious power gap between the two main leads, it displays the reality of a king and a "lowly" court lady's story in that era. I liked that the story didn't limit itself to what the viewers will fancy, it's really only for those who want emotional tension. The drama is distant from a tender romance, nothing will ever go as you want here. The two main leads really went through a lot, as much as it was draining, it made their sunny moments a whole lot special. This is the first time I've come across a kdrama wherein 3 still cuts of them smiling at each other made me cry a lot. The joy and relief you'll feel because they're finally happy together (at least in that scene) is out of this world. The Red Sleeve made me experience a lot of emotions I've never went through even if I've watched over a hundred kdramas, especially the angst.

If there was a quote in the drama that would summarize the whole story, it would be queen dowager's line- "The palace is such a dazzling prison". The Red Sleeve beautifully portrayed the reality of Joseon era. The harsh reality and struggles of the people who lived in the palace, particularly women. I don't think i've ever seen a kdrama portray the agony of various types of people living in joseon as exquisitely as the red sleeve does- from the lowest to the highest class, you'll see everyone's story. Of course, the narrative itself centers around our dearest Deokim. The angst of this drama is just different from all other kdramas with tragedies, mayhap it's because there are not a lot of happy elements.

If you read my whole review, you should've perceived whether or not what you're looking for is in the drama. If your conclusion is to watch it, I'm gonna relay to you this exact question that was rendered to us before the drama aired. It's your turn to find out the answer whilst you watch the drama.

"The king loved the court lady, but did the court lady love the king?"

Your answer may change multiple times just like mine did. But as you reach the end, you'll eventually find the answer. Good luck to you and have fun watching !! Oh and prepare a box of tissues because this is emotionally draining. Make sure to read about the real story of King Jeongjo and Uibin Seong after watching or maybe while watching, it hits different when you know which parts are true to life.

Decent watch

I've been waiting for a while for this to air. Mianly wanted to watch because of Zhu Yawen and I'm glad i did. Although it is filled with lot of cliché plot devices, the execution is refreshing and entertaining to watch. I had litte to no expection whatsoever but im shocked by the story. It is not your typical rom com, has a few heavy/serious sub stories.

Zhu Yawen is a wonderful actor, the way he plays Liu Qing is so fun to watch. He is charismatic, funny, smart, playful and sometimes cunning. The man is a full packagae tbh. The way WanQing treats him/everyone in the beginning was frustrating but later on grew on me. Their chemistry is great and i like their bantering.
They lack basic communication, mainly from Liu Qing side. WanQing misunderstands him and he makes no effort to try and explain. Mike He is also fun to watch, his and the second female lead story line is interesting, cant wait to see how that love line would go. The granny is so loveable and adorable, such a shipper for the mains. But the Feng Cong is annoying and creepy, Wan Qing should wake up stay clear from him.

I found myself bingeing the first 8 episodes then i was hooked. Been anticipating the next episodes since. Many questions to be answered about the mains past. The pacing is inconsistent and tends to throw me out of the story a couple of times. I dont like when they do that dubbing thing with the foreigners, it is so hard to watch and quite unnecessary. It became obvious who the main villian was towards the end, so wasnt as suspenseful as I wanted.

Best youth dramas ive seen in a long while !!

Most Youth Drama I’ve seen recently have been quite basic and predictable. especially the web youth/ coming of age dramas. this drama was exciting from start to finish. from the character development (which by the way I thought they cast each actor perfectly) to the romance in the drama was just right. I really enjoyed each character’s individuality. I watched this drama because I love Chae Soo Bin's acting, I was most impressed about Daniel Kang acting. it’s the first time I’ve encounter Daniel Kang whether in music or acting I did not know much about him but he did amazingly and so did rest of the cast.
Must Watch Youth Drama, you wont regret it...

YES i am a Mew/Gulf shipper even in real life but putting my bias aside, this is definitely a must watch if you are a BL lover. A few things were left unresolved and this special resolves all of them and i am glad there is going to be season 2. I just hope it does not leave a bitter taste in my mouth like what sotus s did...but who cares. I would still watch it and drool over my ship.
Now down to the review. I don't even know what to say. I can only say BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO. On a scale of 1 to 10 ummmm its off the charts. Rewatch value...are you effing kidding me i can watch this all day with stupid grin plastered on my face. These 2 are the best BL couples i have ever watched.
Trust me you won't regret it.

Overall, this is a good drama if you are looking for something fun, casual, but still suspenseful and romantic. This was my first Taiwanese drama, and I found it surprisingly fun and fresh. I liked Chu Man's character and found her intriguing. The storyline kept your interest the entire time & the music is AMAZING. It was actually the theme song that caught my interest at first! This was my first exposure to Van Ness Wu as a musician and actor, and I thought he did great. The only reason I rated this drama as an overall 8 was because certain events in the plot are completely unbelievable, even for a drama!
