Ohhh!! We need more of someone like you to recommend my types of dramas and movies! Yayy!
I'll try to not be lazy and write more. My forte is Japanese so I'm sticking with that, at least for now ;)

Yeah, exactly as you said in the beginning, the drama does not take you to an imaginary high end life, but instead…
You describe it perfectly :D

This drama is somewhat relaxing. I like the way the characters are presented, it feels natural. I could be any…
Yup exactly, I think we all go through this many times in our life, so the characters really connects with us on many fronts. A lot of the dialog, as simple as it seems, hits me hard as well ;)

Honestly I wish the episodes were longer :P

I need to rewatch as well!! The funny thing about Japanese randomness is that you'll never know what'll hit you next making it pretty unpredictable :P

Awe great! He definitely is someone worth doing a stalker guide for! Your love is so justified. He's also one…
He isn't the lead in nodame but does a great job at standing out. There are actually a lot of fun and interesting characters in the dorama itself, including our main leads ;)

Oh true that! I loved Voice, and mainly because of his character, and the way he investigates each case.

Awe great! He definitely is someone worth doing a stalker guide for! Your love is so justified. He's also one of my top 5 favourite actors of all time! He's, simply put, awesome. Like you said, he lives the role, doesn't act it. He started off slowly, but managed to shine brightly.

I first saw him in Sunao ni Narenakute. Although I didn't like the drama itself, his character was naturally cool and refreshing to watch. I had a big crush on him there, but totally fell in love with him (& Hikari) in Soredemo Ikite Yuku. The whole drama was phenomenal and the chemistry between the lead was one of the most memorable. They transported that carried that chemistry over to Wakamono Tachi, even though they were playing siblings.

Agree with all the movies you recommended because generally all are good movies, but as you have emphasized Foreign Duck was one of his most memorable movies. There are some of his other movies that I wish I could watch but don't have any subtitles available :(

Of the titles you mentioned I've yet to watch Last Friends, Waterboys & Itsumo Futari de.

I would just like to add, his role in Nodame was also memorable. He was a bit crazy and weird, really funny and cute.

Again thanks for the Stalker guide I just couldn't contain my excitement XD

Most of characters in the manga are really problematic, but they fixed them in this drama for example Hoshikawa…
Well now that I'm up to episode 4, I think he's pretty well put to make some scenes comedic. I also agree that the drama made some characters better than the manga (that I dropped very quickly :P)

I actually find Arthur and Momoe's story more interesting than the main leads'.
I like the main leading lady herself but I have to agree, as a romantic story, I prefer that of Momoe & Arthur ;)

The overall story is as idealistic as we can get from Japanese dramas, but what stands out is the direction, the acting and the way comedy is handled. Those three aspects come together in a bundle and we have this witty humour. It is also great when it is used to shed the light on real time problems shed on Japanese citizens, specially single mothers and those that fall out of their rigid system.

Actors who stood out for me include, of course, Suda Masaki and Endo Kenichi, but Takahashi Issei was a scene stealer, Kang Ji Young was convincing enough and likeable, and Takaya Yamauchi was plain HILARIOUS!
