eh, so disappointing. They really went with the lazy abolishing route. And here I had my hopes up that we'd get a fun modern royalty drama. Instead of just randomly abolishing it, should've put the royals and nobles in their place and was so looking foward to see her as a sassy queen with both of them bringing in new changes and life to the crown. meh, so sad

agreed, it's such a lazy & boring plot. like, really? that's the solution? abolishing? 🙄 not like there are royal families in this day and age...surely can't have a modern royalty in a fiction....boring. Didn't think the drama would go this stupid route, che, so sad.

all for the plot and cinematography, after all it wouldn't look pretty if the FL had her face smashed in by the airbag nor would they be able to have eyelock slow-mo moment 😂 forget reality and common sense when watching dramas 🥲🤷‍♀️ thou there is the small chance it wouldn't have deployed, depends on the type of impact and where it got hit, buuuut yeah, this is all for the sake of pretty scenes 😂

they even toned down the angst with this whole 18 year coma for SJ(and does feel slightly out of character), from what novel readers say, it was more angsty/heartbreaking in novel when he realised he had inadvertently killed her and no sleep for that dude, he was all brokenhearted about it and searched for her the whole time

wouldd've preferred if they had kept the novel version. in drama it's like he didn't truly feel the impact of LT dying

agreed, hate these goody shoe characters, like, girl, she freaking tortured you and wanted to kill you, yet you'd just let her go unharmed so she can do it again??? wtf. disgusting.
so far, only thing I hate about the FL,had expected better of her ;(

ok, I'm on ep 23 now, but this seems surprisingly nice - while his father was a philanderer and had endless concubines and thus a bunch of bastards & shu born children and he's (the ML) the only legitimate child, but seems like unlike usually in dramas where the shu born siblings are out to get the di born (our ML) these siblings are true siblings despite it and affectionate towards each other.
I mean, he seems friendly with that 5th brother of his who's in a wheelchair and now also this older sister in the capital - they clearly have genuine sibling bond and love.
So nice to see ^^
