Thought this would be a decent/good watch....couldn't have been more wrong. The characters are dumb AF. They're effing blind with no common sense and do NOT learn from their mistakes! After ep 5 started watching at 1.25 speed. Until around ep 10-15 thought - ok, it needs to be bad so they can improve later on, right? Wrong. NO improvement. Add to 1.25 speed 10s skipping now & then. Around ep 20-25 started to get extra annoying and everyone is venting in the comments - who wrote these idiots!? Is this for real?? Ep 27...There are no words how horrible this crap has become. It's gone beyond comprehensible. Even a toddler has more common sense! This must actually be a parody & a manual of how to be evil & get away with murder scot free & get awarded for it because everyone around you is a f*cking idiot. ZERO character growth. 99% of the characters (especially the useless ML) are weak AF & dumb as shit. FL, her bestie & nether king are the only saving grace. It's been a looong time since a drama made me so furious with it's, not even crappy, but HORRIBLE writing. The ML is unsavable. No matter what he does, from this point on - nothing will redeem him. Will hold on with 2x speed with the useless hope of FL kicking everyone's ass and no dumb forgiving shit. Thought this will be at least an 8. It'll be lucky to get a 4 now. Can't understand those 9 and so forth reviews. This is the biggest disappointment ever.
Zhou Ye as He Yan? Hell yeah! She'll be fabulous! Can totally pull off He Yan's charming playfulness! So looking forward to this! The novel is among my top favourites, hope they do it justice
Saw it on Netflix and no regrets - it's AWESOME :D Rurouni Kenshin was great & now ONE PIECE is great as well!!! Guys, watch it on Netflix, WE NEED SEASON 2!!! :D

She does need to pass off as a "man", then again she also needs to look like woman and a rather stunning one, in a way....sooo...let's hope the directors doesn't think a moustache or whatever will do it. So far, the best crossdressing I've seen was The Tale of Nokdu where a man pretended to be a woman. Now THAT is how you do proper crossdressing, even the mannerism is taken care of! I really love this novel, I'm fine with changes as long as they don't butcher it and don't lose it's core.
Ooooh, I love this novel! And Leo Wu As XJX? If it's for real, damn, this will be a treat! As for Shen Miao's character...that's a big role to pull off. Hope the actress does well!

Uh, 18 lost eps due to censorship is a LOT, I hope it doesn't mess up the storytelling and they managed to cut it in a coherent way so the plot flows without any problems
Damned 10 minute episodes (well, still better than 7 or 3 minutes, thou not really by much or the f*ck is wrong with those people...1minute episodes O.o ) but still can't they just make it into a movie then??? or proper 3 -5 40 min. episodes???? So many of these short minute dramas I'd like to watch, but those effing minutes...I can't. Just no. So sad ;(
