Shopping King Louis is the drama you should watch after watching another drama that is so painful you can't just seem to move on. From my experience, I just finished watching Uncontrollably Fond, which is very painful yet worth it, when I came across this drama. Shopping King Louis just made me feellike I just want to show love to everybody. Haha.

The two main characters of this drama is Kang Ji Sung/Louis, played by Seo In Guk and Ko Bok Shil, played by Nam Ji Hyun. They both played their characters very well. It seems like Seo In Guk just transformed into this kind, naive but very lovable guy that is Louis. And Nam Ji Hyun is just so perfectly casted in this. At first I thought I would be so annoyed on both characters because they do not know how to live in the real world where everyone could be selfish beacause life could really just be so unfair, but both characters were so pure and innocent that made me realize that it is not so bad to be overly good and kind-hearted in this world. I also love to give Yoon Sang Hyun credit for his portrayal of Director Cha, he was so funny and I love how he played adult to both Louis and Bok Shil.

The story is very heart-warming. It does have the typical Kdrama tropes but it was approached differently in this drama. This drama just made me feel good. Everyone is willing to forgive everything (Spoiler: the uncle and the running halmeoni) This drama made me laugh, cry, and then laugh then cry of happiness. The revelation at then end was so sweet. I love it. Ost was also so good, and were saved on my playlist.

Overall, I recommend this drama. I hope everyone could watch this and just feel good inside. :)

By far one of the best rom-coms' of 2017!

I didn't know what to expect from this show but it's become one of my favorite Korean dramas ever! What I loved most about this show was that is was so cheesy and corny! It was even so freaking adorable that it always kept a smile on my face! So excited for the next episode so much and always hated those cliffhangers because it was soooo good! Yoo Seung Ho and Chae Woo Bin were by far the best things about this show, they were PHENOMENAL! The two of them together had such an huge effect of me. They made me happy, make me laugh, get mad/annoyed, make me feel their pain and always were able to make me cry. Also, the chemistry was off the charts, that's how good they are together. I shipped them so much, they were what I really only cared about most in this show.

Yoo Seung Ho was already one of my favorite actors to begin with. However, for me, I think this is his best role by far. He needs to do more rom-coms! He was so adorable, sexy and weird. He usually plays characters with the sad past/hard life but for me this character had a bigger effect on me than his previous characters. I came to love his character so much that I feel like I just want him all to myself. Chae Soo Bin, haven't seen much of her but I was impressed. She did a great job at play Ji Ah & Aji 3. But the best thing was Ji Ah pretending to be the Jia 3. You'll see what I mean if you watch! Both of their characters have dreams that they want to achieve and you can't help but root for them. As for the Santa Maria team, you come to care for them as well and appreciate the bond between everyone.

For this being a lighthearted rom-com, it does carry some heavy tones. I warned you before about crying, so have tissues ready! I would definitely recommended this if you're looking for a good story and lovable characters!

In my opinion, that was Ye Hua came back in the form of Mo Yuan (Mo Yuan's body with Ye Hua's spirit) who stood under the peach blossoms tree, calling out Qian Qian to Bai Qian to come over to him! Ye Hua's body already sank into the water when Bai Qian couldn't save him. In my opinion, Mo Yuan's spirit or energy was reborn as Ye Hua. That is why when Ye Hua destroying the bell, Bai Qian shouted out that she finally understood, from the beginning till then, the one that she have (loved) was also only him - Ye Hua.

My understanding: 70,000 years ago, when Bai Qian was Si Yin age 70,000 years old, Mo Yuan defeated Qing Cang - King of the Demon clan and sealed Qing Cang's spirit within the bell. In the process, Mo Yuan's own spirit was also shattered leaving behind a dead body. 20,000 years later, Mo Yuan's spirit was reborn as Ye Hua and he lost all his memories when he was Mo Yuan. Bai Qian was 90,000 years old when Ye Hua was born. That's why Bai Qian kept emphasising that she is 90,000 years elder than Ye Hua from the beginning of the movie. So when Ye Hua's body died, his spirit which was anyway originally Mo Yuan's spirit return to Mo Yuan's body along with all his memories and experiences when he was Ye Hua. When the ice which Mo Yuan lied in it cracked, Mo Yuan opened his eyes and finally woke up!

I liked the movie because It's filled with lots of emotions from funny to serious, greatest happiness to heartbreaking sadness, extreme love to hatred, friendship to enmity, betrayal, trust to distrust, anger, jealousy, revengeful, forgiveness, mortal beings to immortal beings... It's interesting and was never boring at all!

Superb costumes especially for Ye Hua, Bai Qian and Su Jin! For me, I think they aren't overly dressed else they'll look more like mortal beings rather than Royal immortal beings! Great special effects! Fantastic sceneries especially the underworld scenes and heaven scenes! Acting was quite good especially Yi Fei (Bai Qian), Luo Jin (Zhe Yan) and even Peng Zisu (Ah Li) for his young age. Yang Yang (Ye Hua) acted very good in the very touching scenes but there's still room for improvement in some other scenes.

Things that I wished they could have done better were:
1. those animated scenes such as the animated scenes of Qing Qiu as they looked too fake.
2. Mi Gu, the cartoon tree spirit. Though it looked cute but also too fake!

Overall, I would say it's quite good! I will give a 4 out of 5 or a 7.5 out of 10.
For those who didn't like it, sorry to say that the movie was not meant for them. After all, everyone has their own opinion, like and dislike.

I watched "The K2" first before I watched "Healer" and yes- both of this drama gave the same vibes. Since I really like action dramas I could tell you that "Healer" is a worth watching drama if you like action too just like me. There aren't many romance in here but as soon as there are you are seriously going to repeat that scene back to back because I did lol. I was sceptical to watch it first because they have 20 episodes. But that's not the case in here- you'll wish that they could have more episodes when you know that you are near to end watching this drama.

They don't have many OST or what ? Because their OSTs aren't really great tbh but hey we are watching a drama not listening to music.

Is "Healer" a worth to watch drama ? It is worth your time.

This is NOT a crime or law drama. It's more of a slice of life, comedy that lingers with you. I am so declaring this is as the best drama of 2017. There was not one slow or boring side to this story from start to the end. If you really want a heart-warming story to keep you smiling, you have to watch this.

Genre : Sports, Slice of life, Comedy

Story : Baseball sensation Kim Je Hyeok get convicted for fatally injuring a criminal. The show starts with a bluesy note but turns extremely hilarious with a slow Kim Je Hyeok who takes time to process to deal with his situations in his own way. There are good people and bad people in this world and the situations that make this transitions are sometimes heart breaking and bitter sweet. This drama told us that "bad people" in the jail were only  human beings who had gone astray that need help to realise it. This drama brought out  well written characters with a beautiful realistic twist. A lot of characters were unexpected and the personal stories were absolutely beautiful. The humorous editing brings out those particular characters beautifully and making it more funny. I would advice you to jump into this drama right away if you're looking for a light but good drama. The chemistry between the main leads is another thing you need to look out for. It keeps you feeling fuzzy and wanting to see more. I really don't want to spoil it but there is another really sweet couple that i was rooting for :p.(Still not talking about his sister)

Acting : Park Hae Soo is an amazing actor and you can see his dedication to his work clearly in every second of the drama. While i do want to shout out to the director, the actors were almost flawless. Crystal was her absolute best in this drama. She was matured, sweet and worked the chemistry so well, she was almost perfect for the character. Seeing her act was an absolute delight.
Another actor that really stood out was Lee Kyu Hyung playing Han Yang. I was expecting him to be yet another comedic relief but his story turned to be another fight. Keep an eye on him till the end. Not only his acting was beautiful but his chemistry with each actor was really comfortable and bromance-worthy.

Will i watch it again? I might if i don't find a drama this worthy in the next few years.
Will i recommend it to anyone? Hell yeah. This drama deserves it.

Special mention to the OST ok by BeWhy that kept the energy up and Bravo My life by Eric Nam that was so perfectly ironic for the scenes and is now stuck in my head.

I'll start by saying i have zero regrets watching General and I. Overall  i really liked this drama. Unfortunately there were some things that i disliked throughout the sixty two episodes. The side characters and subplots were very subpar to me. I tried to get into them but at the end  of the day i just found myself not caring. I'm also disappointed in the ending. Believe me I'm glad it's a happy ending but there were many questions left unanswered. What i really loved about the G&I  and what kept me watching was the romance. The chemistry between Chu Bei  Jie and Bai Ping Ting was amazing! I really hope to see Angelababy and  Wallace Chung be in another drama together in the future. If You can get  pass some lacking side characters and subplots and want to see a great  romantic story packed with some great action sequences and an amazing  soundtrack, then i highly recommend you watch General and I. There might  be some slow moments, but when it gets good it gets good.

For a person who expects a medical focus only might be disappointed. After some couple episodes, the drama mainly focuses on the romance and the relationship between each character.

I was blown away by the intensity of the first couple episode which sucks me in completely. I can't stop myself to keep on watching. The main male character is very interesting and the story mainly focuses on his point of view.  In the beginning, there are a lot of questions whether he is a really good doctor or just a talented yet only focus on money.

I think the idea of the story is amazing and the chemistry and the acting between Jo Won and Kim Tae Hee is just amazing. Jo Won is one of the most talented actors that I ever know. I have watched some of his drama and every time I watch him on screen, he always surprises me. The only thing that I think makes this drama kind of boring is the couple last of the eps. I find it's dragging too long and wrapt up in a very open end way. To be honest, I kind of wanting a different ending.

I recommend this drama for a person who loves angst and melodramatic drama. There are some little comedy but not much.

The story is shocking, it has unbelievable plot twist, and has a good ending +5
Its humor scenes made me laugh +1
Lee Jong Sook is an actor that I know, he acted well +1
Some 'not romance' scenes were touching. +1
Kim So Hyun as a guest role +0.5
Total: 8.5

If it was not the good story, I would not watch this drama. I don't like how the men are crying. It was too much. So, I'd rather to watch Woo Tae's acts rather than Jong Sook's (blame the director for this lol). I think, So Hyun's acts are far better than Suzy. So, as a woman protagonist, should be a better actress than Suzy to play in this high tense drama.

I usually am a little more lenient with web dramas. It's hard to tell a story in 15 minute episodes. However, High End Crush had too many things to ignore. I still went lenient on it which is why this rating is a 6 instead of something lower but I digress.

What I Liked:
I enjoyed the somewhat new character in Yi Ryeong. She had her convictions, she was raised in the mountains, and doesn't know a lot about the city but didn't really let that stop her from saying and being what she wanted.

The premise for the story typically hits a spot with me in regards to dramas. I love cheesy cliche rom coms.

The pace of the drama was also nice. Just when I started getting bored it would pick up or close a plot line and open a new one.

The humor but only in the last 5 or so episodes. Those last few eps actually had me laughing out loud at some moments.

What I didn't like:
The humor in the first 15 episodes. I don't understand why they thought it'd be hilarious to have the humor men just yelling loudly and yet somehow under their breath but that was the "comedy" in the first 15 episodes.

Everything about Choi Sae Hoon. He embodies the male lead in dramas from 2008-2014. He's entitled and mean and demanding. You still see this in current dramas but I think it's milder than earlier dramas and definitely milder than this character. I was kind of rooting for Yi Ryeong to be like nah and live her life happily with her aunt.

Overall, I think this will fade completely from my memory but it was enjoyable for the majority of the watch.

I am really surprised
This Drama is the best

You will watch first episode or also second episode but you will not like it but then you will see it continuously

Actors were so professionals to deliver the idea and feelings.

I really suggest this Drama to be the 1st suggested Drama.

I’m disappointed that it’s bad events were too much and the ending was unfair in my opinion.

But the romantic side I liked it

The Drama covered many aspect of the event so you will understand why it happens.

Overall I gave it 10/10

I watched Ugly Duckling: Don’t first and now I feel like I watched the Ugly Duckling Series in the wrong order but hey ho! Lol
I absolutely loved this series of UD! I think I should start looking at the order of the cast list because I was on the edge of my bed thinking I had SLS! Could’ve been because there were little things here and there in the drama that were distracting me from focussing 100% but thankfully I was wrong! Never felt such relief. :D

The bad bits:

? Alice - her crying. Honestly I couldn’t tell if she was crying or laughing. I mean I’ve laughed until I’ve cried but you would definitely be able to tell the difference and I felt like she was a huge cry baby. It was very distracting but with a bit of practice/training I’m sure the actress would do better.
? The aunt - not the character or even the actress but this was another thing that was very distracting to me and almost put me off. Her eyeshadow. At first I just thought her eye looked possessed because I didn’t see any of the white part and then I saw that she was actually looking downwards so her eyes weren’t fully open or when she blinked. (I know it may be silly to some viewers but it honestly doesn’t take much to scare/put me off but I got past it).

The good bits:

? Aston - I fell in love with him almost instantly. He’s kind, caring, helpful, considerate and just loveable.
? The storyline - not sure what it is but I do love a nice amnesia storyline. I wasn’t bored at all. I really liked that it had a mixture of school and friendships and not just about romance.
? Fuyu - honestly I giggled every time someone said “P’Fuyu” lmao. His name alone is memorable, but on a serious note I really liked the bond between him and Aston. The acting felt natural to me.

Although I’ve only seen Pity Girl and Don’t, I feel like PG is my favourite at this point in time. It may or may not change once I’ve watched the other series but I will definitely be having another watch of this drama.

Man this really good, one of the best sport drama i ever seen, Wonder  why holding this up  to this point for so long.  I suppose pretty much  the original source by taiyou matsumoto quiet translated well for live  action, which i never, yet to read any rather than by reputation and other adaptation  of his works, blue spring and anime tekkon kinkret -which a must see too imo-
It's not focused on the dynamic of the game, much characters driven with  got a lot to say about passion, self discovery and relationship  themselves. It could be a little overdramatic, cheesy  and cliche but never goes  beyond gimmicky and ridicule, but poetic at the time
I would  prefer if the ending  hold or cut in moment of subtleness rather showing it by shoving scene to audience which one made proggress to the professional level because it doesnt match with movie tone at all.

Okay, so I feel bad leaving such bad review, but two things happened. One, I have too much time on my hands. And two, I see all these great reviews and I begin to wonder if I watched the same drama.

Okay, okay, that wasn't fair. I actually was really enjoying this drama up until episode 11 or so. And then the first kiss happened. And it was one of those old fashioned kisses with the eyes wide open that Park Shin Hye is famous for. And I was like, whaaa?

I mean up until that point, the two main leads had great chemistry. And I was expecting a kiss that matched that. But no such luck. "Well, maybe it is just because it was the first kiss," I said to myself. Wrong again. The kisses never got better.  They continued to have good chemistry up until the kisses.  Then all chemistry would disappear. Now I have seen many of Park Seo Joon's dramas, so I know he is a good kisser.   I mean in Witch’s Romance his kisses make me swoon.  So what is Kim Ji Won’s problem???  My conclusion is that maybe Park Seo Joon had bad breath.
So, it is possible that I have formed this negative opinion of this show unfairly, but that is all it is, an opinion.  The beginning of the drama wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t that great either. I watched this on viki, but it is also available on dramafever.

First thing first, this is the first ever drama that I "chased" after it's being aired and waited patiently for the subtitles. Wasn't able to find time to write the review as I really really love this drama. Besides our Handsome Oppa with his glares here and there, all the supporting roles did an amazing job for the story. Really glad that they extended from episode 12 to 18 because episode 12 would be too short and probably have a different plot twist that won't be as interesting/confusing as this?

Acting wise, Song Seung Heon's acting were really better compared to the one that I watched that he acted in My Princess and that was the only show that I've completed. He kind of look like JI SUNG to me last time, hehehe. Go Ah Ra's acting were not too bad in this drama as you can really feel her when she's always so depressed with her gift, was never affected by her acting like so many other people though.

OST wise I don't recall much except the song Like a Film because it always appear at happier moments.

I will probably only rewatch this show when I kind of forgotten what happened or maybe certain cut scenes because I think the main point for this show and what made it really good was the storyline.

This is a drama that will break your hearts if you were able to withstand the pain for 20 episodes. What made me watch this was the pairing of Kim Woo Bin (whom I love since The Heirs, I had a second male lead syndrome while watching it) and Bae Suzy (watched her in Dream High, she was still too young there). I was having a summer vacation and had nothing to do, I just wanted to watch some korean drama after a very tiring semester I just finished (never thought watching this will just break me even more).

I will start with the CHARACTERS, Shin Joon Young played by Kim Woo Bin, was perfect for the role. He acted like a top star haha, very much like KWB in real life. But, as a top star with an illness fighting to live. Just wow. KWB played it very well. I just saw him on a different light. He made me cry and feel the pain he's been going through both physically and emotionally. My favorite was the scene with his father and mother towards the end of the drama and the shower scene. It breaks my heart remembering those scenes. Next, Noh Eul played by Suzy. I think it was good performance from her considering the amount of improvement since I saw her in Dream High. The character Noh Eul, I'm seeing Suzy, as what would she really feel if she was Noh Eul. The scenes in which Noh Eul is being cute and playful was I think very Suzy. Haha.

The STORY is so painful. In the beginning you would see the chemistry between the two main leads as the drama begins to show flashbacks of what really happened between them before the "accident". It was so cute, like a typical RomCom story but it will change as the drama tells all the obstacles that the leads will face. The ending was already set from episode 1. You know what will happen to Shin Joon Young. I was able to hold on despite of the pain that this drama put me through because it has an interesting story. The only thing that I did not like is how cruel Shin Joon Young could be sometimes, but still I understand what he's going through. He always had guilt inside his heart, and he wanted to punish himself because of it.

The cinematography was awesome. Soundtrack was so good. I recommend to watch this drama because it will be worth it in the end. There are lessons to pick up from this drama.

Remember: It's the stories that break our hearts that stick with us the longest. :)
