Biography:
Lee Min Ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. His family consists of his mother, father, and one older sister. As a young child, Lee Min Ho hoped to become a football (soccer) player, but an injury in the 5th grade of elementary school ended those dreams. However, Lee Min Ho still keeps up with football and mentions Cristiano Ronaldo as his favorite player.
In the 2nd year of his high school career, Lee Min Ho turned his attention to acting. By the time of Lee Min Ho's senior year in high school he joined Starhaus Entertainment with the help of an acquaintance. After going through training, Min ho started auditioning for roles and landed smaller roles in several television dramas. In 2006, his acting career was put on hold for a year following a serious car accident in which he was badly injured. Childhood friend and fellow actor Jung Il Woo was also injured in the accident. His major breakthrough came in 2009 with Min Ho landing the lead role of Gu Jun-pyo in the KBS2 drama Boys Over Flowers, the Korean adaptation of the popular Japanese television drama Hana Yori Dango, which was based on the popular Shōjo manga, Boys Over Flowers (花より男子 Hana Yori Dango). The television series and its actors became immensely popular throughout Asia, and the show regularly received ratings of over 30% in South Korea. Lee Min Ho is majoring in Film & Art at Konkuk University. In 2011, he starred in the hit action drama City Hunter with actress Park Min Young, which became the number one drama in its time slot, reaching 18% ratings. The show's popularity throughout Asia has also contributed to Lee Min Ho's growing popularity in Asia, most notably in China.

i used to be hahaha n i still like him..jun pyo will forever be one of my favourite characters ever sketched..but i created this thread not coz i'm his fan..it's bcoz i wanted to post some recent news of him and i couldn't find any thread for him..i mean he's one hell of a popular guy so he deffo deserves a thread all for himself lol....i think he's absolutely gorgeous and tall :)
Jun pyo was my favorite from BOF too and I really enjoyed Personal Taste, but I don't like that he plays in same way in all his dramas. I admit that he is handsome but maybe because he knows that, his attitude is so self-conceited.
I liked him in City Hunter and there is no doubt his acting has improved a lot. I believe he'll do even better with time and experience. Of course he's a pretty sight too, but there is something... marble-like about him.

He's like a pretty statue I look at for a while until I'm literally blown away by an abstract painting.

Marble like statue...I always tried to put a name to what I thought about his looks and drew blanks...That description is perfect. So many people go crazy over his looks. I'm not at all. But I've seen him in 3 dramas now: BOF, Personal Taste and City Hunter. City Hunter now ranks among my favorite dramas and I enjoyed Personal Taste. So 2 out of three. And while I don't go ga ga over his face, he impressed the heck out of me in City Hunter. I still waiting for City Hunter II.

I agree with this. I didn't like Personal Taste, but that was not Lee Min Ho's fault: I simply didn't like the drama. I'd rather rewatch BoF, definitely not my favourite, but at least it didn't bore me to death.
City Hunter on the other hand was a truly impressive show and I wouldn't mind seeing a continuation myself. But I fear they'd have to kill off NaNa this time around: where would the angst be, otherwise? I also have a hard time imagining City Hunter without evil father: in my humble opinion, his character was the true blast of the show.
