Beautiful review as always Ana! You always manage to make me feel the emotions you go through when watching a drama. Now that is a gift! I'm really looking forward to watching this drama but now I know I need to emotionally prepare myself ;)

Oh man awesome review!! You said everything that bring up my anticipation! I'm really totally missing out on this one. I will watch it real soon but postponed a little since I heard it's about the suffering and war and my head isn't there yet.

Abandonment is when the parents are unworthy and they abandon of their own free will. I just don't get when the government deprives them of their parenthood. I think the only case the parent should be stopped from seeing the child if he/she had abused their child. Whether it's in favour of the mother or the father doesn't matter, it's very wrong!!

I will never understand Japanese family law. It's like when a divorce happens, the parent is divorced from the whole family. I don't think it's healthy for the child. I guess the fact that I've been seeing this quite a number of times in doramas means it's something they wanna demonstrate the negativity as well.

I have to agree. I gotta say I didn't like the music right away, but it creeped into me :P

Villain isn't an easy watch and isn't there to make a hero out of anyone. It isn't my favourite of his work but it was a turning point of his career and is definitely worth checking out. You would need the right mood for it though ;) I really liked slow dance, all about dreams and reality when school is done, and the cast did a great job.

lol the rate at which my ptw list has been growing is much faster than my watching. I'm pretty sure once you'll start one of his movies, you'll end up watching more and more. That is how it happened to me :P

I agree his movies offer a wider variety where we can truly appreciate his talent. It can get pretty intense though. I find the dramas are I good introduction, specially for young viewers. Akunin was a turning point of his career, and made him one of the most desirable actors his generation. The only scene I watched of Fast and Furious was his scene :P He looked great!! XD

It's a reminder for me too. I will get down to it after the first week of June. That and Empire of gold :P

Oh just HAVE to watch his movies. you'll see so much more of what he has to offer, so much variety. They may be a bit more intense though, but memorable.

True he just feels so real in every role I've seen him in! I also want to watch more of his movies, I've still got a number to go, and there are many new ones I can't wait for to be subbed ;)

I know I miss them too!! I just read in many blogs where bloggers kept saying they were disappointed by his performance and how he was overacting. I seriously couldn't get it I loved his performance there. I mean his personality was that of a loud intrusive, uneducated older brother and he was perfect there! I totally agree with you that they probably misunderstood the whole drama. Some of them did drop it. It's all a matter of taste so that didn't bother me but it did bother me when they said he was overacting!

Happened to me so many times!! now when I see something on youtube I don't take for granted and watch right away!!
