Grumpy Witch Sadly, no. But it does start with parts of MBLAQ's "It's War" and then some of "Mona Lisa" from last year to which I automatically started to sing along. But there is a cameo, which is the only thing I liked about the drama. Ok, although the main guy is NO eyecandy and he's an idiot who thinks he can walk on water, she is even more annoying. She's loud and just...ugh. The other characters....meh. This episode was also very predictable and I barely made it through it. So, this is where my journey with this drama will come to an end...

PrettyBrown_Eyes After a few weeks of dragging and with only 2 episodes left its finally picking up. And in a really unexpected way!! Chae Ri finds the ring Baek Ho was going to give Yi Seul. Yi Seul finds out about the ring. Back to present time and we find that Yi Seul has died!!!?! Seiously did not expect that?! Dont know what they're going to do for the next two episodes! I'm curious and anxious at the same time because they can get carried away with it (hope not because even tho boring at times i am enjoying this very much). Anyways flashbacks are shown explaining how she died - car accident when she was on her way somewhere without telling anyone - and we see everyone grieving over her death. Baek Ho cries and cries (the poor boy! Come to me and I will confort you baby!) blaming himself. I am unsure at the death of Yi Seul...the idea of it seems too whacky and intense for such a lighthearted drama hopefully they will have a good ending - I'm hopig that Baek Ho goes back in time again and find out what she was doing without anyone knowing and also hoping that Baek Ho would sacrifice himself to save her. Then the Conductor will show Yi Seul what Baek Ho has done for and he wakes up/recovers from the injuries and happily ever after!!! I know its a wild idea but I do like a bit of a dramatic twist and I love it when the lead gets injured/on the verge of death aha!

dapinaymrs Laugh-out-loud, slap-your-thigh funny! I have never seen any other drama episode with as much hilarity as this. Watched twice without subs, watched it twice with subs!

I have seen the teasers before and thought this show wouldn't surprise me anymore, I already knew the premise and stuff.
Well now, what a pleasant surprise! I like the parallel stories and shifts between past and present.
Yoochun was another surprise. He showed a different set of emotions I didn't see in SKKS.
EDIT: I'm moving this up the scale primarily because as the story develops, I find myself going back to Episode 1 more and more. The premises here are needed in the future.

devitto This episode was by far the best first episode I've ever seen.
There was so much action and so much happened without seeming rushed - Everything was explained perfectly without dragging and the music fit extremely well.
I definitely fell in love with this drama from the first minute on.

VioletSakura I just can see this director's style... The feelings I had while watching the first episode were very similar to the ones I had while watching Spring Waltz... romance has this drama in her possession...haha~ I can already feel the sadness, though...

Croire This drama has a very endearing beginning! Unlike other dramas Rooftop Prince is not plagued by lots of flashbacks. It's a bit fast-paced, but very funny and the you get a good sense of the characters in the small 1 hr.

Minzys_back It's true that the part about them being all close and cheesy was weird but it's all about the complexity of Hang-Ah. She was off duty, deceived by a long time "friend" , she needed to talk. Obviously not the right person but still.
I'm sooo looking forward to the next ep, seeing the preview made me so impatient.

The first episode wasn't bad, but not the best, either. It seemed a little rushed and way too unrealistic.
Still I liked some of the dialogue and I'll continue watching it.
What annoyed me was that the "reverse harem" was more than obvious in the very first episode. Really now.. who's going to fall in love with a woman they met only once (and who's their brother's fiancee, too!)?! ;)

Becca256 I liked this episode, but it just had SO MANY random parts! Like the part like when she trusted him and suddenly they were all so cheesy! I was like: "What????? On the SECOND episode???" but then at least that got fixed. And then.... the "bad" guy! I'm still wondering if he's just a bad actor, or if his character is supposed to be like that, because it's totally random! He remembers me of Vector, of the movie Despicable Me. Just as pathetic....

I loved the way this show started, it was really strong! I think that for once I'll watch this mainly for the female lead because I love how Ha Ji Won is pulling off her character, specially her accent!

Skye-N-Rain This episode was amazing as usual. Everything is starting to hit the peak, trouble is in the air. Ken is getting sicker, Iwata-san is possibly a murderer. I CANT wait for the next episode!

Witchgirl247 I honestly did not expect some of the things that they revealed in this episode, I won't tell you what but it was surprising. The love triangle is already being set up and I absolutely ADORE Ji Woo. Woo Hyun is such a jerk, just like I like my Kdrama men :). This is getting really interesting!

I hope what I saw in this episode is just temporary. Kim Hang Ah was portrayed as a very vulnerable woman, understandable with what happened to her in the previous scene, but what I had a huge problem with is why on earth would she even trust him? Vulnerable or not...she should have had better judgement than that. I was very disappointed. And well, the prince was just a bigger jerk (since I can't say anything stronger :p) than ever.

SumiTheCat Nice feature. not a review, I just wanted to say I really enjoy this drama. I think i will miss the humour and the interaction between the characters when I will end it. So I'm waiting until tomorrow to see episode 10.
Nice episode. Matsumoto-san freaking awsome kicks !!! love Junpei so much, always so funny. really found the guest girl very cute. Oh, and I found it nice to see how Matsumoto looks like with glasses (cute, of course).
