The best thing about this series is there are no annoying love triangles. Yes, there are some that like the main character but they don't go and push themselves on to the main leads. Instead, I should say this is a mature love story (I mean, the main leads' age added together is almost 80). There is no unnecessary jealousy or misunderstanding but focuses more on their jobs and their relationship development instead of conflict.

The main characters are also not perfect. The main girl is very short tempered, haughty almost. You might hate her in the first half of the series but as someone who is also short-tempered, I fully understand her actions. And who doesn't want a bff like Chen Shao Cong?

There are some mistakes in the medical part but f*** that. I'm not watching this to learn to become a doctor.

The music is fine and doesn't bother me in any way.

Why it's better than the drama series:

1) Xiao Nai is not a stalker.
2) Less shitty and dramatic unnecessary characters.
3) Better graphics
4) etc....

The story is still basically the same but Wei Wei is less of a goody two shoes and Xiao Nai is less of a stalker than the drama series. They also cut all the unnecessary drama (movie time limit but works well) and made the characters better. The progression between the main leads are more understandable and Wei Wei is quite funny and laid back in this movie. The graphics for the game parts are better but it's probably because the movie has a higher budget. lol

Anyhow, enjoyed it but will probably rewatch it after a year or so

Just a reminder, this drama is just season 1, there will be new season 2 coming out immediately after this. At first I didn't expect the drama to be very good based on the popularity and the number of people rate this. However, I am wrong, this drama is not as bad as you guys think it is. Actually this show focuses more on the relationship rather than the cooking scenes. The couple was kinda hilarious and cute and keeps me watching without making me feel bored at all. I didn't get to see this main actor and actress act before and I'm surprised that they actually did pretty well together in this drama. Sadly this drama season 1 ends quickly and the ending was sad and incomplete as there will be next season coming out soon. I had seen the new trailer for the season 2 and I'm looking forward to it. Now, I needa wait for the new season to be out, good drama need patience :). Hope the next season is a success!

This is a film that beautifully captures a nation's pride, sorrow, and shame. For someone who does not enjoy political soapboxing and preaching, this movie does not do that, despite being drenched with historical and political motivation. It focuses on the commonality amongst humans - that is, having humanity and empathy. The personalities presented are indeed painted with the biases of the "model Korean", as acted by Song Kang Ho et al. , but it is not a distracting one because it plays well with the central message(s) of the film.

I came into this movie expecting nothing more than a time-kill, but left with a desire to learn more context; I was very satisfied, even when watching a genre I am unfamiliar with. Deep emotional responses are invoked from the general audience, through typical tactics, but that is nowhere near a fault. While some may argue that this film exploded in popularity because of the Korean political climate near and before its release (i.e. Park Geun Hye), it could have easily stood tall without that added fuel.

The story unfolds itself nicely and successfully leads the audience as each layer of the mystery is presented. The film will take you through some twists and turns, and makes you wonder about what is really going on behind the scenes. While the movie is satisfying overall, the major flaw is the lack of depth in character development. With the exception of Choi Min Sik's character, the rest of the cast are underutilized as they play pivotal characters that have very little flavour to them. If I were to interpret this to be intentional, then the archetypal/standard personalities should complement overarching message, or plot (i.e. the trial) - but the plot is too weak to justify that. As for the acting, there is nothing to complain or awe about for that same reason, despite the casting. Choi Min Sik plays the financial overlord, whose character develops directly in parallel with the movie. Park Shin Hye plays an inexperienced lawyer, which serves as a refreshing break (and hopefully beginning) from the mould given to her by drama roles.

If I were to summarize this lightly, I would say that it is worth a relaxed watch, but there is really no need to put your detective hat on during the movie. Enjoy the ride, but know that while they intended to pull at heartstrings, they forgot to put them there in the first place.

Good Lakorn, Raveet character potray a strong woman. Thaywa can't help to falling in love to this woman. He make any excuse to be with Raveet, even that revenge. Yes, it about revenge to help his sister but it seem just excuse only to be with Raveet.
Loved....
1) Chemistry! They both atract to each other. I not sure how many kiss in this lakorn... Thaywa really used any opportunity to kiss Raveet. And Raveet cant help to play along.
2) Raveet as strong woman. Breek up with Niman is nothing, she can move on easily. Smart and confident. Pring can't never be a winner even she stole Niman.
3) Family, Thaywa and Raveet have loving family. They support each other, respect their child opinion. Not just arrage marriage for their child like most of lakorn involve big company.
Hate...
1) Pring! She never grateful for what she have. Always want what Raveets. Not smart woman, the only thing she have her body. She used only that to get anything. What can I say, her mother thought that.
2) Da, she really unstable woman. she sick, I mean she mentally sick. She most fragile person. She can be manipulate easily. She can't be leave alone, she gonna suicide.
Summarized... Love this!

I was kinda disappointed by this drama. I did enjoy it. But I started it with high expectations, since everyone was constantly telling me how good it it, and sadly, I really don't see why everyone thinks it's such an incredible drama. I wasn't really into the plot at first, and my excitement sort of dwindled down after a while. I just wasn't able to get invested in it. I wish they had focused more on Young Shin and Jung Hoo's stories because the best part of this drama for me was the romance, it was really sweet. The action scenes were amazing, too. I enjoyed watching Healer's missions, I wish we had gotten to see more of his regular work as a night courier. I liked his interactions with the hacker ahjumma. Overall the story was pretty ok.

The enjoyment for me was mostly in the characters. I really liked Ji Chang Wook's character(in fact I liked him so much that I watched another one of his dramas after I finished Healer) Both Jung Hoo and Bong Soo were precious in every way (even if Bong Soo was just a facade). Park Min Young was great too. Young Shin was a great and dynamic female lead, and I enjoyed every moment she was on screen. Young Shin's dad was the best though. Him and his small gang of ex-convicts. The cast was quite good. What made me keep watching despite my lack of deep investment was Young Shin and Jung Hoo, they were both great individually and together.

The music was very nice. The OSTs were stuck in my head for quite a while. Plus they were in English, so I could sing along. Somehow, they managed to pull off English OSTs without making them sound as cringy as they often do in some kdramas, so kudos for that. The background music was fitting, too.

I don't think I'll watch this again. I rarely rewatch things and this has not given me any reason to consider watching it. (Edit 04/2020: Haha i did end up rewatching it (though i skipped a lot) because I wanted to see Ji Chang Wook again)

Overall I think this was a pretty ok drama, but not really anything special. I'm still a bit disappointed. I thought I was in for something mind-blowing because of all the great reviews on here. Plus it's just my type of drama, action-packed, suspenseful, dramatic... I'm not sure where it went wrong.
Watch it if you feel like it. The romance is wonderful, and the characters are well developed. It's not bad at all, I did enjoy it, but I just see it as another decent drama, not the masterpiece that everyone else seems to see.

I just finished watching this drama and whOO this was one hell of a ride
The plot twists were INSANE
My hands are shaking as I type this
I can feel some serious withdrawal approaching :'))))

In terms of story, this drama certainly delivered. The twists were everywhere and quite a lot of them were vERY surprising (i'm still shaking). While there were a few plotholes here and there, generally the whole story came was engaging and exciting. I'm a sucker for action and crime dramas with plot twists and complicated plans so this was right up my alley. Every episode left me craving more and there was never a dull moment. Especially the last few episodes. It was so tense that I had to pause and go watch something else to calm down because I was feeling so overwhelmed. There were a few things that never got explained and a few things we never got the satisfaction of seeing, but that didn't really take away from how great the overall story was. The withdrawal is hitting me hard :')))

The cast. Don't get me started on the cast. I love the cast. Each character was great and I loved them all. My favourite character was hands down Jang Do Han (played by Kim Young Kwang). His character was just the kind I like. Seemingly happy and bubbly but with a dark (and rather sadistic at times) side. I loved every single second that he was on screen. Jo Soo Ji (played by Lee Si Young) was great as well. Her emotions were very realistic and you really felt for the character. Also, she was a badass and I loved it. Key and Kim Seulgi's characters were great too. I really loved the whole dynamic of the little team they had going there. I also really liked the interactions between Jang Do Han and Kim Eun Joong (played by Kim Tae Hoon). Those, although few, were hilarious and very interesting to watch. The villains did a great job making you hate them too. Overall, there was nothing lacking when it came to the cast.

I only really noticed 2 OSTs, Amen and Watchmen of Dawn (the two most commonly played throughout the drama) but they were both lit and lent themselves well to the scenes they were played during. Definitely going on my Favourite OST Spotify playlist.

This is the kind of drama that isn't that enjoyable when rewatched because you know all the twists and there isn't really any suspense. Since it's the kind of drama that thrives off of suspense and plot twists, so I don't think it'd be too fun to rewatch. I might anyway, because I enjoyed it a hell of a lot and because the characters were so great (esPECIALLY JANG DO HAN).

SO overall, it was a great drama and I recommend it to eVERYONE. Seriously though, I hadn't seen a drama this good since Chief Kim (which, now I think about it, is pretty similar to this... huh). 10/10 would erase it from my memory so I could watch it again from the beginning. I really really really recommend it. Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go watch everything on Kim Young Kwang's discography.

This is one of my all time favorite movie! I've watched it maybe... 5 times! An each time i find something new!
I wouldn't say this is a horror movie, because you don't exactly feel scared when watching it. I felt mostly sadness and frustration, hoping for all of them to make it in the end. Everything happens unexpected and therefore you cannot look away. Time flies by and therefore it will come as a big surprise when the movie ends. For 2 hours, my heart kept beating in a quick pace even until the last minute! It's such a beautiful story, not only a plain zombie movie. The actors played their part unbelievable well, from the little child to the halmonies - even the zombies played their part exceptionally! This is a movie I will always watch again and again, so go watch it if you haven't! It's marvelous!

When I saw this drama I just thought it was an ordinary school drama nothing that special. After watching it, it became favorite drama of mine. This drama showed me why Hayami Mokomichi is a great actor (I saw first in “Gokusen 2” than in “From 5 to 9” than found a drama where he is the main role)

The story of each episode is very good. Students have problems and the teacher is there to help them. In Hammer Session I love that their is no fighting instead Hachisuka shows the students a “Hammer Session” and the Hammer Sessions are so cool to watch. I love his teaching, I wish more teachers could be like him. It felt realistic that you could connect with the student and their situation. The comedy in this is so funny and right on point mix with the drama.

Hayami Mokomichi played the role fantastic for both characters. Kaede she was annoying a lot. Assistant teacher was fine, the principal was alright, and Otowa’s partner was so funny he made me laugh a lot. I recognize some of the actors playing the students.

There is only one song which is at the end of the drama and it fits along with the drama. If you watch closely and listen there is a wonderful ost that replays for each episode and makes you feel better. Its one of the best osts I have heard. Its also on youtube.

I will rewatch this one plenty of times. I know this type of drama is the same as others but I wish some of these school dramas are made still. I really would like to see some actors that use to be the student in a school drama than be a teacher in a new drama.

This drama has a cute romance, great acting, and good music. However, my problem with it is the story.

The story is actually well written, logical, no apparent plot holes, and no character was sacrificed due to bad writing... No these were not the problems with the story... the problem was simpler than these, the writers forgot their setting!!! They forgot that they were writing about prisoners, about criminals, about victims and about the pain caused by the crimes, by violence, and by poverty (not just money wise, but emotional and moral poverty). They forgot that crimes are entangled with morality. They forgot to mention psychological aspect of a crime, that for example when one person commits the act of murder, other that than the pain they've caused others, they themselves are forever psychologically scared, that these scars don't just fade away, that these scars need to be addressed, that rehabilitation and a lot of help is needed for them to hurt less ...

In the drama, they joked about how the prisoners should come to their senses and that they are not in a club, or a hotel... to be honest, I felt like the writers thought the characters were simply lost sad boys who had decided to come together and live in a hostel ...

Half way through the drama, when I saw that the is no sign of ANY remorse the drama lost its charm for me, it wasn't fun to watch anymore, it was actually alarming to watch, to see how everyone in the drama seemed to ignore all the signs of psychological problems and morality issues of the main characters ... so yeah if I were to go back in time I will pass on this drama and spend my 16 hrs doing something else ....

Based on how popular and trending this drama is, I knew that I had a mission to watch it. And I have no regrets at all!

The story is quite unique if you think about it. My only question is, how can the writers create a story that sounds so ridiculous and somehow manage to make it work fantastically? Honestly, the first couple of episodes were really hard to watch. I never take most of the dramas seriously, but this one seemed so childish and unrealistic to a point that I had thoughts of dropping it. But I'm so glad that I decided to stick around! It's a perfect length drama to enjoy during your free time. I'm a sucker for fluffy romance, and it only appeared during the last episodes which is a bit sad. Well, I think just like in any series, you should always expect the main couple to grow attached to each other slowly. The chemistry between the main actors - so cute! I was used to seeing Chae Soo Bin as a villain character, but she's totally amazing and inspirational to me after this drama! Her character shined so much. Not to mention Yoo Seung Ho, who's performance in this drama was a discovery for me! Such strong character development is also what I'm appreciative of. To add, the supporting cast was very lovable and sweet! The music added a sweet little touch like a cherry on top. I'm very pleased with some of the songs which are now in my playlist.

So overall, this is definitely a drama I'd rewatch and recommend to any fluffy romance junkies out there. Thank you all for encouraging me to watch it! Once again, I'm so glad that I decided to ignore the funky sounding story and to just watch it!

Honestly this is the worst drama I have ever seen and one of the first I ever watched .I don't really think I'll find one as bad as this .This was the most infuriating thing ever.In the beginning of the show the story was pretty interesting and I really enjoyed Han Tae Sang storyline and it seemed to be a classic melodrama type of thing .And I was right .The only reason I kept watching it was because of Song Seung Heon's acting and I sincerely hope that there aren't people in real life as annoying and stale as Seo Mi Do's character .I don't recommend watching this drama, unless you want a not-even-mediocre thing to watch.

Newbie to Lakorn, was not suppose to watch this after what Sai Tarn Hua Jai did to me. (its a culture shock as it is mg first lakorn). I had a misconception on how it started but when I soldiered my way in and watch the first episode, its more that what it seems to be. Mark and Yaya have this chemistry, kudos to Toey for being a very good villanes pyschotic wife and the third couple, they are really cute. Honestly, this is lakorn made me want to watch more and jumped to another one (Chuamong Ton Mon).. Good job and looking forward for Kom Faek and The Crown Princess. Just one not very much editing issue, the usage of Motion blur on action scenes, makes my eyes fuzzy, better just use the angles there. hahaha

The most important thing you have to know: this drama is strange. Don't expect a "normal" Lovestory. Already during the first two minutes I was like "that's so Chinese. No doubt."

To explain you what I mean: it's kind of exaggerated, really weird and cringy. But honestly said, if you can deal with that or even enjoy cringeworthy stuff, then you'll like it.

I watched the whole drama within one day and had quite a lot of moments where I cracked up because of the strange humor in this drama. The actors are good, Junhui does a a great job playing this strange vampire dude who's actually just a confused dork, and also the other actors do a good job. As good as one can with such a script. It also has its sad and dramatic moments, hell I even cried in the end, even tho I didn't expect that drama to touch me like that.

As you can see, I'm not really talking the story seriously, but still enjoyed the drama because ? Well. I just enjoyed it. If you don't expect a super serious high quality K-Drama, and can deal with exaggerated, cringy effects, you'll have a great time admiring these beautiful people acting these strange roles.
