This series has some promise as it tells the story of ordinary Jan Di becoming a students at an exclusive private school. There she clashes with wealthy bully gang F4, who are viewed by the rest of the student body as their leaders. Wherever F4 goes, crowds of screaming girls follow. Jan Di challenges F4 when they try to bully her classmates and she soon becomes a target for their ire. She also attracts the attention of their spoiled leader Jun Pyo and mysterious violinist Ji Hoo. As Jan Di tries to navigate this new world of super wealthy teenagers and glitzy parties, she finds herself constantly overwhelmed.

This is a remake of Japanese TV series "Hana Yori Dango" and  it definitely suffers by comparison. Jan Di, bless her heart, is Too Dumb To Live and constantly finds herself stupidly blundering into dangerous situations that one or more members of F4 must rescue her from. She apparently attends a school with no adult supervision, and her main romantic interest just straight up kidnaps her to his enormous mansion. Yeah, that's not creepy at all. Affection seems to be demonstrated in this weird universe by 1. Dreamily mooning over people from behind the bushes or 2. Yelling at them and calling them names. There is no in between. Lee Min Ho sports a fantastically ridiculous hairstyle and a series of oddball wardrobe selections in the role that made him a star. Sadly, it's tough to see the appeal of the pasty Min Ho whose bland face is surpassed only by the tediousness of his acting. With a whiny heroine who alternates between crying and yelling, I would definitely give this one a pass. It may have seemed cool to 13- year-olds 10 years ago, but frankly it is tough to see the appeal.

I just watched this via the BluRay version [wiki] dts with attached srt Chinese Mandarin sub and I can say overall 10, please , you heard me , it is full pointoo-desu! The effort of the producers is good and story is indeed interesting. Don't wanna do any spoilers, but I'm already know the story of the anime before watching the live action. [therefore idk about those who never know about the story sorry!!]

I really like how Mr. Shun acts, whole acting is captivating.

'Want some short review  >....<'  ... okok, so there we go , I highly recommend you to watch this movie even if you are not a big anime fan. Do not please, ONEGAAAAI ignore those who said 'hey live  action is sh*t' if so maybe Justice League is p00p too.. :D

I HATE LONG CAPTIONS but for this drama, I would really pour my heart out through this post! It took me months before I decided to watch this drama. I thought it was boring and lifeless but my goodness! It proved me wrong! No wonder this drama has high ratings and good reviews! This is definitely one of the BEST Kdramas I've ever watched! after watching this for 30hrs! (yes! because every episode is 1hr and 30mins), I just can't contain my emotions! Each episode made me laugh, cry and fall in love. Deok Sun portrayed her role very well. She's such a cutie! Her enthusiasm and liveliness gave joy to the whole story. Dong Ryon made me laugh, Sun Woo inspired me to become a better person and Jung Hwan made me realize that you lose not because of fate, not because of timing but because of your hesitations. Of course, MY CHOI TAEK (Park Bo Gum) who is the main reason why I fell in love with the movie. His innocence and charm are extremely seducing that I could stare at his picture the whole day. I love Taek's character so much that I just can't move on! literally! He is sooo handsome and his appeal is different. Definitely my dream boy! I would really recommend this drama to everyone. You will never regret watching this! Kudos to those people who are behind this amazing series! My heart if full of joy and love. I'll always and forever be a fan of REPLY 1988! such a great story! Saranghae and Gamsahamnida ????

This has to be one of my favorite dramas of 2017.

When I first heard about this drama, I thought this was already great. The plot and the cast were promising. Yes, this is a law drama but the fantasy element mixed with this just lifted the overall mood of the drama.
From the first up to the last episode, I felt the emotions well and I didn't feel that the story dragged. There was enough room for character development.
The music and the ambience was really great as well as the cinematography.
It's not perfect, but it's definitely a must watch.

Although it's a comedy it is also unexpectedly dark, it really goes into the depths of how serious bullying can get. There were some silly moments but also some serious moments. There were adorable moments but at the same time frightening moments, this show will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I initially was hesitant to watch the show but I watched it and didn't regret it.

As far as rewatching it, I wouldn't because my poor heart wouldn't be able to take it. However if you like dramatic things like this I'm sure you would love to rewatch it.

I didn't have much expectations for Go Back Couple when I started watching it. Jang Nara never disappoints and I was excited to see Son Hojoon in his first lead role. But wow, this was a really good watch,

It was satisfying all throughout. Tied up really nicely. All my questions were answered, all in just 12 episodes. Amazing!

I love how it not only focused on the leads' relationship but also their surroundings and how each of them affects everyone.

NO TOXIC CHARACTERS. NO ANNOYING LOVE TRIANGLES!

This drama will be remembered for a  long time. I love you, Go Back Couple!

First off, I just want to say this is an OCN drama.  If you know nothing about OCN, let me summarize it by saying---OCN is a station that specializes and from what I can see, exclusively focuses on mystery/detective dramas.  I have not seen a single romcom/human drama/tragedy (unless related to mystery)/horror---all of them are detective/mystery.  Considering I'm a mystery/detective buff fanatic in any culture - OCN is my channel.  In Japan I live for Tantei's.  Therefore, if you plan on watching and love it/or/ you're already a detective/mystery buff OCN is the place you want to be. ALL their dramas are a hit in my eyes.  None of them are alike except for being mysteries.

The Good:
The actors are really good and mesh well with each other. The flow of the stories are nice; I like that there are continuations of a story to bring some type of closure (this does lead into the bad).  I like the bromance between the two lead characters.  Actually, it's not a bromance,  that would be disingenuous; it's more like camaraderie.  I love the fact that the mysteries when solved didn't have happy endings.  I loved the injustice that's been pervasive through the story an you know will happen at the end; but also the fact the ending is so ambiguous--because it's a prediction.  I think the ending makes up for some of the sins.

The Bad:
Female lead...she was just fodder.  I know a lost of cyber/computer tech characters that have been used properly.  She was worthless to me.  She had one bottle episode and the rest of the time she was around to make the male leads feel better about themselves when they were feeling down.  Just no substance.  The only female with any substance and gumption and I actually wanted to see more of was the pathologist.  Similar but she wasn't there to fluff anyone. Not to mention I'd have like to see the pathologist lead because she's an older woman.  These dramas always bring in the spring chicken (I don't care if she's my age).

I really didn't get the leads backstory.  Or in all honesty I felt they were poorly executed, so I didn't get what I wanted from them.  Definitely the case with the leading male.  Ugh. his story was confusing as hell.   I think that was what slowed down a lot of my watch time.  Not to mention; some of the stories didn't have proper closure.  In the sense that they had just weird endings and you're stuck scratching your head.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I would rewatch: But I would only re-watch certain episodes like the 1st one, red suitcase one (brilliant episode), and the con-artist one.

I just finished this drama and it was AMAZING!! honestly I thought it's going to be dramatic but it turned out to be funny and easy to watch. I would recommend this drama to anyone looking to watch a drama with a strong female lead that is stubborn. Obviously if your into romantic comedy Thai drama you should watch it.  I'm seriously thinking about rewatching this just because of how well it met my standards. The only thing I would fix about this drama is to make the episodes longer but other than that I just loved it.

After watching Father is Strange i was looking for a similar drama that will help my withdrawal symptoms ! I couldn't stop myself from comparing them both ,while I  LOVED Father is Strange i "just liked " this one.
LIKED
Story - A pretty neat plot nothing extraordinarily but a warm tale of family bond  that will make you laugh & cry (a LOT !) while making you realise that though your family can annoy you at times they would sacrifice anything for your happiness !
Acting - Grandmother grandfather ,all the older couples 10/10 nailed their performance. You forget that they are acting at times !
Comedy - You would just wait for certain characters to show up to crack you up with their antics .
DISLIKED
-While some characters had a great storyline i found myself skipping parts of certain characters
-Not satisfied with the ending
OVERALL
Dont expect a 16 drama fast paced story & get disappointed , yes you do have multiple strong romantic tracks but not the sweep me off my feet type more like let's get married & fight with in laws type ???? Just watch it for the sheer strength certain characters show when faced with heartbreaking situations and how they overcome it .

‚While you were Sleeping‘ was my 5th drama written by Park Hyeryun. The only drama I didn‘t like was Dream High. the other dramas I watched were very good. Even though I was very excited to watch the drama I was sceptical, too, because of Suzy. I watched her in Dream High and she was...bad. And I watched her in Uncontrollably Fond and she was...definitly not good. But I love Lee Jongsuk, Lee Sangyeob and Jung Haein and the story sounded very interesting, so I decided to watch the drama during the airtime.

Story: Like I said before, I was excited because the story sounded very interesting and it didn‘t disappoint me. A young woman dreams about real incidents, who happens after she dreamed about them. It sounded different from most of the other fantasy dramas I watched until now. The story was ecxiting and honestly there were many surprises.

Cast: The Cast was very good, even though Suzy was a little bit off. Especially I want to name two Actors who surprised me the most. But I want to begin with the two Main Actors.

Bae Suzy. To be honest, I think that she should just stay singing, because unfortunately she is not one of the idols who can act as well. I was very skeptical about her role, but she was improving. In the first episodes I found her really bad. It was somehow ... stiff in my opinion. But after a few episodes, I realized that she has improved in comparison to her last drama. She will never be one of my favorites, but if she keeps practicing, she may at least be bearable. But I still do not like one thing about her. If she cries, that looks kind of artificial. Maybe that's up to me, but I do not think every actor can cry well and sadly, Suzy is one of them.
The male protagonist Jung Jaechan was played by Lee Jongsuk. As I said, I'm a big fan of him since I saw him in School 2013, I love him and his way of acting. I must also honestly say that he not only plays the role of the rather childish and naive public prosecutor very well, but he is also pretty good at the role. It's one of the main reasons why I just could not drop this drama, even though I often have a problem with it if I do not like the chemistry of the main couple.

By far the most surprising actor was none other than Jung Haein, who really surprised me a lot. He's a really excellent actor, and I was convinced of that when I saw him in 'Blood', which I stopped for some reason. I hope he gets the first lead role soon. His role was very nice and sometimes I wished he would end up with the female lead, but then I thought the way it was was the best. The Second Actor who was very surprising was Shin Jaeha. I watched him in Page Turner and didn‘t liked his role but his acting. In this drama he played the younger brother of Jung Jaechan who has a crush on a girl who is one of the guest stars in the first few episodes. Like Haein Jaehe is a very prominsing Actor.

I liked the Acting of Lee Sangyeob, too, but his role was...>.< Argh could he get another role like in Innocent Man, please? I can‘t talk more about him and his role because I am afraid I would write any spoilers, but his actoong was amazing. Most of the other Actors were okay.

Music: The OST is very nice, but honestly...Lee Jongsuk doesn‘t need to sing...I am finee with him when he only acts…

This 1 Litre of Tears sad, I don't know if they are trying to encourage or discourage being foster parents.  It is one hour long so there is no time for lag or dragging. I liked how they didn't sugar coat anything though.  You definitely felt the joy, frustration, happiness and despair with the family as they bonded, fell apart and re-knit.

This is from 2003 so the production value isn't super high but the acting was well done and immersed you well into the story.  I would recommend this story for some one looking for a good slice of life drama and only had a small amount of time to spend watching something.

I write this from the point of a genealogist, which happens to be my second job.  Any time I research any person from any war my heart cries, they are more than dates and places to me.  This movie effected the same emotions in me, it made them especially difficult to reign in due the age of the squad involved.  I made comparisons like, 1868 is just after the American Civil War, where children were also fighting for which ever ideal they upheld.

It portrayed well every angle of war, not just the men's, not just the women left behind, and while it is told from the Aizu point of view, you still see all sides.  The beginning was slow as the set up for the war had to be done to put the rest into context.  The modern framework seemed tacked on, but I guess it is necessary to relate to people 140 years after the incident,

I do not seek out any war movies, due to how they effect me, but I watch this to complete my Yamapi watch list.  I do not think I will ever watch it again, but it is now in my memory and I learned yet another important part of Japanese history.

Dropped it.I had high expectations and they were shattered at once. The story  that I was expecting (i.e based or even at least loosely based on the manhwa) was no where to be found. Didn't feel the real chemistry between the leads. The female lead I found annoying, gosh. For the life of her, she cannot act. Honestly speaking, this drama was just a feast in the eyes. Pretty casts with a really disappointing plot.
In my opinion, this drama isn't even worth a try which is such a pity.  Just giving an honest review and saving some from wasting their valuable time on this.

I liked this lakorn because it was unique compared to the basic formula of most lakorns. There are 2 leading actresses who get equal screen time. The dramatic scenes were very intense and Janie( who plays Jai Rerng) did a great job expressing her emotions. Her face was expressive. The character relationships and personalities are developed very well, it's not just random events happening for the sake of drama. The show displays the ascension or decision of the characters in a way that is setup from the beginning. It had the perfect balance of comedy.

The background instrumentals are amazing and this show really evoked emotion in me that no Asian drama ever has. The show is not afraid to take risks, and the sex and violence is not gratuitous, there is meaning behind every action. My issue with this drama was the last episode, it seemed like it was from a different show. I wish they had established the final climax event in a earlier episode and some of the characters such didn't seem to change at all. I would have liked to see a few of the characters change through their actions not their words.
