Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Actress Go Youn Jung will officially lead the upcoming K-drama Someday Wise Resident Life.
On September 20, it was officially confirmed that Go Youn Jung will be the main lead to the spin-off of the 2020 hit K-drama Hospital Playlist.
This will be the next project of Go Youn Jung after the upcoming JTBC K-drama Death's Game with Seo In Guk, Park So Dam, Kim Ji Hoon, Kim Jae Wook, Lee Do Hyun, and more.
Go Youn Jung is part of the soon-to-end hit Disney+ original K-drama Moving. She works alongside Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryu Seung Beom, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, and Kim Do Hoon.
The actress made her acting debut in 2019. She is known for being part of the K-dramas The School Nurse Files, Sweet Home, Law School, Alchemy of Souls, and more.
This will be the first time that Go Youn Jung will star in a medical genre K-drama.
Go Youn Jung is currently one of the trending actresses nowadays. She is praised not only for her beauty but also for her great acting skills.
Someday Wise Resident Life will be the next work of directors Lee Min Soo and Kim Song Hee (an assistant writer of Hospital Playlist. Director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung who are known for helming the hit K-dramas Prison Playbook, Reply 1988, Reply 1994, Reply 1997, and Hospital Playlist, will join the spin-off K-drama as creators.
The upcoming K-drama will showcase the life and friendship of professors/doctors and their students at a university hospital.
Go Youn Jung will portray the role of a first-year Obstetrics and Gynecology resident at the Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center.
There are no other details revealed yet on which actors will join Go Youn Jung in the spin-off K-drama.
Someday Wise Resident Life will premiere in the first half of 2024 and it will exclusively air on tvN.
