The plots aren't very similar, but when I think of She is Nineteen it reminds me of Shining Inheritance. Shining Inheritance is much better, but the feels are somewhat similar.

The had most of the same cast, and the drama, although, with a different plot, gives up a similar vibe.

In Dive In 2013, to me its about being loved, And how you react to love...Unlike the first one, (2012) which was about looking for love.Need to go watch Dive In 2014 next.

There is same writer in both dramas. WCh is inspirated by north european thriller, WR is crazy korean romance, but in criminal line, you can see similarities.

Theme of baseball is mirror of story in these dramas. 9E2O is realistic then WR, but WR has criminal plot.

Spinster started with dating. Similar embarassing situations (in OMD some scenes are over the top), funny... OMD is shortened +200 drama (2004), so the movie isn't comprehensive enough. LC is far better IMO.

Both Sageuks are/have:
--- a Strong Female Lead .... Smart, tough, brave, righteous and steadfast, etc...
--- an 'Epic Romance' ... most palpable Passionate / Intense Loves.
--- extremely Well-Crafted in ... directing, acting, cast, plot, costumes, music, etc....
--- Well-Balanced & Fast-Moving Plot ... ... interweaving of romance/revenge/action/intrigue.
--- Political Intrigue ... ... about ascension to the throne.
--- Unforgettable Characters! .... ... many, including the great villains!
--- Loves start w/ Mistaken Identities ... ... both females were in disguise when the male leads met them ...

Note: writing in Empress Ki, somewhat falters in 2nd half.

Both aired as part of the Thursday Mystery Theater programming block, and have a similar format of each episode's case being related to an aspect of the over-arcing mystery.

Both dramas tells a story about a police team. In both dramas the male lead has a trauma. In both dramas there is a character who lost their child in an accident. In both dramas they are solving cases that binds together a big case. In both dramas the comedy is very similar and there are some same actors in these dramas.

These are very similar dramas that I recommend everyone should watch.

Both are filmed in an experimental impressionistic style with impressive cinematography. The stories largely focus on the pains of youth and how their lives intertwine with schoolmates. Both feature enjo kousai, being a central part of the story in Love & Pop and playing a smaller part in All About Lily Chou Chou.

First of all, both star either Lee Seung Gi or Lee Min Ho, who would past that up?

Second, both consist of action (City Hunter has more action), and the acting between the two leads are very similar.

They both have very cold demeanors, but of course have a vulnerable side as well. I love both romances within the dramas, although the female lead in You're All Surrounded might have been more similar. It's difficult to explain, but if you liked this. YOU WILL LOVE CITY HUNTER. IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN CITY HUNTER. SHAME ON YOU!

SHAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
