This is the end of the Back to the Past Watch Challenge 2022. I hope everyone enjoyed the challenge. There will not be a 2023 Challenge unless someone wants to take it over and make it their own? Please message me if your interested in doing that.

Please update your post and message me so I can make your Achievement Badge and add you to the Hall of Fame. If you have a preference for a color/image let me know. Also be sure to mention the chosen difficulties and number of stars you have. Know the system was a bit flawed but it’s too late for me to correct that, not that the number of stars are important.

I will make the badges this month, please be patient because I have a lot on my to do list so it might take a while.

Last year I started this watch challenge for fun. The Idea I had when I came up with this challenge is to not only watch new dramas/movies but also give some older dramas/movies from previous years a chance.
The goal (basic idea) of this challenge is to watch 1 drama or movie from the year 2022, and from the years before (going back) until you’ve had enough. It can be a (short) movie or any type of drama. How far back would you go? 

For example, if your goal is to go back and watch dramas/movies that were released from 2011 till 2022, then you need to watch 12 titles.

Like last year there will be custom badges made for the people who finish the challenge within the time frame. The big change from last year is that you won't be using a custom list but you will post your challenge here. I'm making some basic Participant - Badges & Banners, feel free to use them or make your own. A Hall of Fame will also be added to this thread. 

If the Challenge is a success I might continue next year.

1. Copy & fill out the sign-up form below and post it in this thread. Choose a difficulty level which suits you the best (you can always change it later if you want). 
2. You must watch at least 1 title (movie or drama) that aired (was released and completed) in 2022, after that you keep going back a year (so next will be 2021, 2020, 2019 and so on) until you say: done! Also make sure you put the titles (dramas and movies) in chronological order from most recent (2021) to older. If you prefer posting it the other way around (oldest to newest) I will also allow it. You don’t have to watch it in chronological order, just make sure you don’t skip a year. 
3. You have to finish any drama or movie you use for the challenge. 
4. You can’t skip a year for example if you want to watch from 2011 till 2022 and haven’t watched anything from the year 2016 then it will be invalid (I will then only count from 2017-2022). 
5. Only titles you have watched in the year 2022 (from January 1, till December 31) will count, don’t add anything you have watched in 2021 or before. Feel free to re-watch titles in 2022 to use for the challenge. 
6. You can pick your own difficulty level with a minimum of 8 titles so (2015-2022). 
7. After you finish your challenge you can send me a message, I will check your list, make the badge and add you to the hall of fame. You will receive a link to your badge. 
8. The deadline to finish is December 31, 2022. 
9. For any questions or discussions use the: BACK TO THE PAST WATCH CHALLENGE FAQ – Feed post. I will create a separate discussion thread if the need arises. 
10. This forum thread is NOT intended for any discussions. 
11. Only post ONCE in this thread and edit your post. It’s recommended to save the link to your entry post and post it somewhere e.g. your profile.

 This is the second time I’m hosting this challenge, so I’m open to corrections or suggestions! 

Edit: I'm working together with Shiro and we decided to drop the stars for the three levels above. Sorry for any inconvenience. Stars will be added for members who decided to add extra difficulties/handicaps in the challenge making it extra hard. I will soon update the info beneath, but I can inform you that the max number of stars you will be able to add to your badge will probably be 24 (I don't think I can fit in any more than that but will see).

You can also add any additional difficulties/handicaps.
For those who want to challenge them even more, here are some suggestions to add to your challenge. (this is not mandatory! Also please keep count of your own stars)

Each added difficulty is one or more extra stars for on your badge. The max number of stars you can have on your badge is 18 (my guess, will see when I start designing).  Will work on some sample badges soon and post them here.

Some sample badges of those who completed the challenge last year, the template will be modified for this year.

Note: Z = Only for the levels Easy, Normal and Hard. You don’t have to include titles from 2006 and older in the 50% rule. If combined with Double the fun! The amount of stars listed (code Z) can be multiplied with 2 (so 4 stars). Y = also if your going back further than 2007.

Just make sure to add any additional difficulties in the description!
