1.liar game jdorama is 2007's production for late nite dorama in japan: means less budget than usual jdrama. Kdrama version is clearly have much better budget
2.lee sang yoon and KSE in 2014 are much more experienced than toda erika and shota matsuda in 2007
3.7 years gap on technology; drama trend; storytelling trend etc
4.this being tailored for kdrama watchers

so pls, just dont compare it!
Its like praising Taeyeon for sings Goodbye days better than YUI XD

and FYI, there is a old dorama The Quiz Show 1-2 too; with same model mind games on reality show like this
