This drama started off strong, with a cast with great chemistry and a story line that although not original is still one that is enjoyable to watch. The episodes at 40 minutes long are easy-watching and breeze by quickly. However, around episode 13, the show shifts its romantic focus and instead become more of an office drama dealing with the difficulties and complexities of trying to keep a large corporation afloat, in addition to family drama associated with the pressure of one’s own family owning a company and the pressures that come with that. For me, this was very dull and was not the story that I was intending to watch which was a letdown.

In addition, I feel as though this drama should have been titled The Queen of Shutting Off Phone, or in some cases NOT silencing their phones. In every crucial confession, important, or will they/won’t they romantic scene, the main character’s phone would be either off, or would ring and ruin the moment. This was the writers only way they used to accomplish a distraction, and because of this it was not only infuriating but made the story seem juvenile, unoriginal, and repetitive.

Although some of the actors’ performances were exceptional, it could not save this script and make this drama into a classic. The soundtrack as well was appropriate and fitting to the drama but was not spectacular in and of its own right. Overall, this drama is an okay watch. Highly enjoyable in the beginning only to fizzle out just before the halfway mark. However, if you like the actors in this drama, it may be worth the watch for the chemistry and love story.

I am a big fan of the anime and the Japanese versions of this drama and I have watched the Korean version of this show too but to me this is the worst version.   I am perfectly okay with changing things because of the different cultural differences that is fine but still as a fan of the original shows and content there's certain scenes that you expect and really enjoy and you don't get that at all in the series. I feel like they rushed through  and instead of having everything in just one season they should have just stuck with them in high school and not done any of their college Years . Also I really really love Chris and she does not show up at all in this series which just makes Kings storyline even more sad that he's just lonely at the end.

I really enjoy this remake. I was pleasantly surprised with how much they stick to the storyline considering the last Thai remake of a Korean drama that I watch was not very good. In fact I would say that this version of the story was better than the original Korean. I like how they change certain aspects to make it more modern  but at the same time you really got a feel for the Royal Family and tradition. I would also like to say that the main antagonist is for more evil in this version than the original Korean so it made it far more dramatic. The only downside is that the kiss scenes were s*** they did a lot of turn my head to make the illusion that they kiss instead of actually kissing.

It isn't for everyone.

If you enjoy Thai Lakorns (I love them), then please do watch this drama. While it might not be the best if you enjoy proper slap/kiss lakorns then this will fit the bill (except of course it's in Chinese).  The drama was an absolute riot, from the crazy obssessed male lead to the innocent door mat of a heroine, to the crazy diabolical evil rival lady, let's not forget the dissaproving and equally diabolical mother (of the male lead). These are the ingredients for  thai lakorn people! You either love it or you don't, no one can make you understand why it's so good. It's not an acquired taste, the love for this type of drama is ingrained in my blood. Your pile of poop is my bounty!

First, I would say I enjoyed it a lot. Second, I am angry about it. It was a very enjoyable drama for me.
I really like this type of dramas where main male lead is physically strong, and also love fighting films. The development of main lead in fighting skills was very realistic. Mostly, in this kind of movies the hero goes to learn from a very skilled master and in drama time, he learns aalll he needs to overcome enemies at most in 20 or 30 minutes. That's when I say how? How could he be so much strong? But in this movie you can watch slow development of our hero and what he learns from his every fight.
I also like historical dramas, but actually this is the first drama i saw in this era, when we have both guns and  swards. I hated guns because cowards used them when their skills weren't sufficient to win.
I am angry about the drama because at episode 23 a very sad incident happens that wasn't at all necessary and logical. The only reason for that to happend was to make people never forget the drama and put a somewhat forced emotional impact on them.
I didn't liked Gaya's character from her teen age and liked Ok Ryun. People say Gaya was strong and Ok Ryun wasn't, So she was the one who should be with Jung Tae at the end. First, i don't think it is true, because Ok Ryun suffered a lot and still kept loving Jung Tae. Second, love is not about being strong, it is about give all you can to the one you love. And as a lover she did her best. So as a lover she deserved Jung Tae more than Gaya. Third, Character of Gaya was not full good and even it made the drama interesting, but she didn't deserve a full positive and good character like Jung Tae. Forth, in my opinion, men like Jung Tae does not need a physically strong girl. The only thing they want from their woman is pure love and trust. Jung Tae does not need Gaya's fighting skills nor her brutal character and capability to kill people. He was himself strong enough to overcome his enemies.
------ACTING------
About the acting, it was great. I liked the characters a lot. A lot of independent characters each with it's own goals and attitude. A lot of grey characters who could not be categorized as bad or good. The main leads were attractive to death. Kim Hyun Joong is very handsome and has a special look. He can eat his enemies with his look. Jin Se Yeon is very beautiful and attractive. After this moving I am going to watch her other movies. Both of them acted great. The drama had a lot of lovable characters, especially General Mo was verrry verry cool and awesome, very confident and wise character. His fighting style was master-style. Beside his strong character, he had very cute smiles. I usually do not like characters that are not at main lead's side (Especially second leads). But in this movie, Shinichi was a big  exception. I really loved him. His strong determination in protecting Gaya, was adorable. There were very few characters who you could call them bad guy or good guy and this is a strong point for the drama.
------STORY------
Story was good. Actually I liked it a lot because it was my type. But being fair, it had holes and inconsistencies. I do not pay attention a lot to the detailed parts of story so it was not annoying for me, but as I said, the incident in episode 23 was one of the plot issues that really made me angry; I was angry rather than sad, when it happened. The romance part was good but not satisfying. That may be because I didn't like Gaya's character from the begining (though It changed a bit at the final episodes.) so I mostly ignored Gaya's feeling for Jung Tae. And from Tae's side I really was angry about him, ignoring Ok Ryun's feelings and foolishly loving Gaya. Actually I couldn't figure out when he fell for Ok Ryun. And couldn't realize how the hell he could love two girls in the same time. :|
------Music------
Music was also great. It had two rapturous musics. When these musics came to start with the fighting and exciting moments of the drama, I somehow lost my control :XD.
------Rewatch Value------
I won't rewatch it, because don't have much time, but think it is worth watching it one more time because the action scenes and character development of Jung Tae  are really, really interesting.

Have you ever had a crush on your teacher? Well, I did not because I was in a girls school with a faculty consisting of only female teachers. I did have some male professors in college but all of them were married with kids and were not great in the ‘looks’ department. While watching Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta the only thought hovering in my mind each time I saw Shuji was, ‘thank God I never had an attractive teacher’. I mean, look at this guy. Tell me how is a student supposed to concentrate on a subject when the teacher is so alluring? I have been ranting on my Twitter and Facebook against this. This is not fair! You cannot expect young girls to not fall in love with such a handsome professor. And this dorama is just about that. A young girl has a soft for the most handsome professor in her school and she unwittingly has him trapped in a scandal that maligns his image. However, this drama is not just about the scandal. It is also about human feelings and how we sometimes fail to understand what we really want in life.

Shuji Kashiwagi (Haruma Miura) works as a biology teacher at a high school. He is in love with his school friend and work colleague, Natsumi Uemura (Erika Toda) who is an English teacher. They are happy together and wish to marry soon. One morning Shuji wakes up in his bed and is shocked to see an unknown girl lying there. He is unable to recollect the events of the previous night that led the girl to his house. He offers her his house keys so she can get dressed and leave as he leaves for work. On his first day at school, Shuji starts to take the roll call of his class and is stunned to know that the girl he supposedly spent the night with is actually his student. Hikari Saeki (Emi Takei), seems to have fallen in love with Shuji after spending the night with him and is determined to have him one way or the other.
Let’s weigh this teacher-teacher-student love triangle drama on our drama beam balance and explore the depths of this drama to know if it is worth a watch or no.

Good Weights
I enjoyed watching Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta because…
…it shows how humans can be indecisive in life. Shuji is a very principled, idealistic and righteous man. But even someone like him can be confronted with a difficult situation where he does not know which way to go. Shuji’s lack of decision frustrated me to no end. But when I gave it another thought, I could understand him to some extent. Shuji wants to do what is the best for everyone but in the process, he ends up messing things up. This happens to all of us, right? Where we want to do our best but things just don’t go our way. This is the realism in Japanese dramas. Even people with the best of intentions can harm their loved ones unintentionally.
…I liked watching Haruma Miura. Will discuss his acting skills in the other section of this post but for now, let me praise this good-looking actor. Haruma is present in almost every other frame and I personally enjoyed ogling at him. He features in my Facebook cover image video and also on my Twitter back cover which clearly shows that I am his fangirl. (Wookie Oppa, don’t worry you are still my number one oppa. Muaaah!) If you have liked him in any of his other dramas, you will like him in this one too.
…I liked actress Erika and Emi’s acting. Both the actresses were subtle and portrayed their respective characters excellently.

Bad Weights
I did NOT LIKE Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta because…
…I felt lost somewhere in the middle of the drama. After episode 6, the drama slows down a bit and I was left wondering where the drama was leading to. I was sceptical that this drama might not end on a good note but thankfully the ending was good. The drama was wrapped up nicely and all my questions were satisfactorily answered in the last episode. While watching the drama, you too may feel annoyed with Shuji and Natsumi, but please be patient as the last episode will put everything in its right place.
…I did not understand why Shuji kept explaining himself to his students. I’m not sure how close Japanese teachers are to their students but it looked silly watching him admit to his one-night stand in front of his students.
…I wanted Haruma to act better. I have seen Haruma’s movies and dramas and I know that his acting is limited. He is absolutely stunning to watch but he really needs to act better. In this drama, he often raises his eyebrows and widens his eyes each time he looks at someone. He does that so many times that I wonder if the director asked him to look startled each time he saw someone.

Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta is a simple (regular) drama dealing with a difficult (different) storyline. The drama does not have a single kiss or even a passionate hug but it is high on emotions. There is nothing memorable or overly dismissible about it. But you do need to be a little patient to be able to see it to its end.

Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta is a decent watch with some thought-provoking scenarios. Watch it if you like Japanese dramas dealing with depths of various relationships.

This drama is refreshing to watch and it lightens my mood! Another heartwarming drama

Let me start with the plot. From the first look of it, you will know the bad-guy-pities-the-poor-girl or the rich-family-controls-marriage cliches and I already know what the ending will be. But those cliches are "worth watching" to this drama. What I admire most is the comedy, I laughed most of the time because it was so good. I cried at some points of the story. The pacing was spot-on and the development of the characters is very well, everything was explained like I wanted it to. (LITTLE SPOILER I GUESS: I did not expect for the marriage in the ending to be like that LOL)

The casts... Speechless... They did so well. From being sad, angry, happy, funny, everything!, Everyone did so well! Bravo!

I love the OST, of course. SOME ARE CUTE AND SOME ARE SAD AND I CANT STOP LISTENING TO THE SONGS HELP ME!!! The sound effects of the comedy scenes really adds the hilariousness of the drama.

I would re-watch it again. I'm going to miss this :)

Ok, I'm just too sad to write a review about it.
Kidding, but not kidding at all. Actually, I'm really sad.

The story is just perfect.
Ok, it is another Zombie movie or some stuff, but everything seems new.
The acting is great, cinematography is just awsome in here, the music also made me so tense. I WAS SHAKING WHILE I WAS WATCHING THIS, OK?
I don't know why, this is not horror at all, but I felt fear. I was covering my self with my blanket.

By knowing what happens, I would not have the same feeling that I had while watching it for the first time, but still worth to rewatch. I loved it.

ok. im giving this a whole 10 at everything ahhaha.
I was just so addicted. Im writing this review a month after i watched it and im still addicted. This is unusual xD im supposed to move on after two weeks. So now i'm trying to move on with another drama, Bromance (T-Drama), and it's working! it's so great.
I just have one concern in this drama, they focused more on the high school life taking more than half of the drama and they rushed things in the college life and getting back together episodes but even though it's like that, it also made me value their 4 year-relationship more. AHAHA sorry fer that.
The characters are just the best! I dont really think that anyone can play these roles better than Hu Yi tian baby and boss Shen Yue ahaha. Sun ning and Wang Zi wei and Gao Zhi ting too. The best gang ever!
The music was the best too. well.. i memorized them now. That was a great achievement since it's Chinese and it's not even my second language.
Im even reading the novel now, haha. Someone translates it in english! Thank you for that. You see,.. i dont usually like the tv/movie version of novels but this time it's different. The director and writers of this drama.. thumbs up! They did a great job for me to like the drama version better haha but since the novel hasnt been translated in whole, as of this day, the latest is in chapter 15 and there are 50 chapters + 27 side stories!, well it's too early to say that i like the drama better but we'll see. One thing's for sure, this drama is the BEST!
This is the best so please don't watch. I'm selfish when it comes to great dramas. haha dont want it to be mainstream. Please don't watch. xD

Great actors + plot= daebak
Loved that everyone was so immersed into their character that I found myself crying and laughing together with them. Such an emotional drama been awhile since I’ve enjoyed and binged watch something not only because I started it but because it actually held my interest throughout.
Some characters may seem annoying or even bad at first but then you actually get to know all of them by seeing how they progressed and change emotionally(getting stronger).
What can I even say about the cast they’re amazing every sing,e one did a great job loved Mi yeong romance since they literally were made for each other. The sister hyeyeong and her husband are goals though they genuinely love each other, and don’t care about stupid nonsense stuff that most dramas have.
This show is on a whole other level it’s a lot of episodes but it’s goes by fast and now I’m stuck here wishing there will be a season 2 with the same cast and great plot. 10/10

The casting is wonderful and Kanata Hongo plays his role almost too well. Kanata Hongo's character, Ueno-san, is a little evil but good at heart. He is my favorite character (as the main characters hopefully are).
However, I had some problems with Reiya Masaki's character Ichijo Noboru because this character is an exaggerated version of a middle school child in a college student's body.
I will say that the character Ichijo is one of reasons I almost didn't make it all the way through the drama, but Kanata Hongo played Ueno-san so well that it made up for it.

This drama is worth to watch! It has a very high rating in Japan but not well known internationally I guess? It has around 20% rating in Japan which VERY HIGH. This drama has everything from lovely characters, comedy, character growth and beautiful life messages to deliver. I watched this drama 5 times already. Sometimes I find myself crying and laughing through all the show. It has around 150 episodes which are unusual for a Japanese drama (it tends to be short). However you wont find it as a problem as each episode is 15 minutes length. This drama cover about living a life to pursue your dream and the true value of family.

I absolutely adored Park Hyung Sik in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. He was hilarious, sweet, and heartwarming. Also, super stylish - I loved all his outfits. Park Bo Young was also great as the title character. I loved their interactions and would 100% rewatch their scenes. The rest of it... eh, I accepted it as the price to pay for all of Park Hyung Sik's cute moments. This drama is a strange mix of romantic comedy with a disturbing crime mystery storyline, but I actually didn't mind the crime part as it tied in with Do Bong Soon's power. It was the bizarre side plot with the gangsters that I really didn't care for.   Towards the end I skipped past those parts entirely.

I have no memory of the music so I just gave that a generic 5.0.

I was really excited for Royal Sister Returns because I loved Ady An in Autumn's Concerto and  my preference is for modern dramas. Ady An and Zhu Yi Long are great as the leads for Royal Sister Returns - they're charming, funny, and have great chemistry.  I loved that her character was  determined and motivated in pursuit of her dreams. So why did I give this drama such a low rating? While it started out really enjoyable for the first ~14 episodes,   the story then took several infuriating turns. The villains were unbearable (I can't handle the spoiled brat characters that are so common in Chinese dramas), and the worst drama cliches were utilized. As if that wasn't enough, the final plotline was so absolutely ridiculous. Just thinking about it makes me angry  all over again. I do think of the main couple very fondly, and just try to pretend that the latter half of the drama never happened.

Regarding the music, I loved the song  Crazy Love sung by the lead Zhu Yi Long.
