I love history, especially when it is humanized like it was in this story.  As an American we are taught one history, and the aftermath is usually skipped or glossed over.  I love seeing the same issue from different sides to see the whole picture.  I learned about events that were significant to Japan, but never heard of in my country.  The story that is told is the human story, one of survival, love and family.

The acting was superb, with this cast it would have been hard not to be.  You can tell there was pride in the work that they were producing and that they had invested themselves in telling the story right.

The music was good thematically and only repetitious when the story warranted it.  The Rewatch value of this for me would be to show someone else.  It is a heavy drama with little comedic parts or Action. It is straight story telling.

Overall I give it a 9 because It is an excellent piece of drama that pulls you in and makes you want to see more.

I'd just like to state beforehand, that I'm a fan of TFBOYS, so that's why I watched this!!

Story:
Story is set in the year 2050, where AIs with red eyes have been developed and work in certain areas of life. A new and super-improved brand of AI with blue eyes has also been developed without permission and has escaped the laboratory, and has supposedly harmed humans, so everyone is trying to go after it. The three boys find out that the new brand of AI is in their high school, so most of the story is centered on them trying to figure out who is the blue-eyed AI.

As someone who greatly dislikes the sci-fi genre and things with robots and AIs, I was honestly very interested by the story because I couldn't really tell who the person they were looking for really was. Like you don't realize that there's more than one blue-eyed AI until like midway into the story, and then you realize after they find one blue-eyed AI, they have to find another, and then there are some really interesting plot twists.

There are a lot of parts where they also focus on friendship (cries) and family issues of the three main characters, and I think those were really nice moments in the story. It's cool that the characters get mad and angry (like any teenager) but they also learn to forgive and forget. Plus the story got really emotional towards end, and I was really surprised by it, but a good kind of surprise.

And the ending......oh my that was so sad and touching!! I think one of the cool parts about this webdrama is that it brought up and explored a lot of aspects and questions and ideas regarding Humans+AIs that humans should consider as technology continues to advance so quickly,  especially if more AIs and robots start to appear in the future.

Acting:
This is TFBOYS first acting gig for an actual drama, so they are all quiet inexperienced since they debuted and are still singers. But they were pretty decent for first-time drama actors. I'd say out of the three boys, Junkai had the best performance. His two emotional/crying scenes (especially his very last scene!) were really good for his level of skill and age. Actually cried real tears at the very last scene of them three together.

I do think the adult actors, were quite lacking. Some of the adult ones were okay, but some were actually pretty bad/awkward actors. Also, most of the actors in this drama have pretty poor Mandarin pronunciation and enunciation; I would've preferred it if they had been dubbed to be honest.

Music:
I'm pretty sure all of the OST songs were TFBOYS songs, so I really liked the music (since I'm a fan of them)!! Especially the main theme song ???????is actually one of my favorite TFBOYS songs.

Rewatch Value:
I might rewatch some of the friendship scenes and the scenes where only the TFBOYS were in and having fun as a group of three. But I probably won't really be rewatching this drama. But it IS only 15 minutes each episode, so it's very easy to rewatch if one wanted to.

Overall:
Came in with low expectations since the actors were all so young and inexperienced, and I didn't like the genre. But surprisingly, it was pretty good and enjoyable!! Personally think that if this story was remade, with an even more extensive plot (I like the plot already of them trying to figure out who were the AIs) and older actors, and they kept the topics and ideas about Humans+AIs that were explored in this webdrama, this could actually be a pretty good scifi drama.

Final Disclaimer: I do like TFBOYS though, so the rating could be a bit biased. I might change overall rating to like a 7.5 later on, but currently I'm still in the moment, and I thought it was a really enjoyable webdrama.

I'll don't usually write reviews on MDL, but since I'm starting to get about into watching Asian drama after three-four year hiatus, I'll might as well because this is the first drama I'll got back into after my hiatus since I'll heard many good reviews about it and I'll might as well give it a try. Now, that I'll finish watching it, I'll can finally say that this is my favorite Korea drama of all time after Master's Sun.

Story:
The main description of this drama got me into watching this drama: "The male lead suffers from multiple personality disorder that span into several different personalities." I'll like how the disorder shown in the drama is original unlike the other dramas and movies I'll seen with personality disorder. For instance, each of the seven personalities seen to span in different genres: Perry Park and Yo Na is comedy. Yo Sub and Nana is tragic, Shin Se Gi is action/thriller and Mr. X is mystery. I'll like how each of them contain many moments once they appear in a episode and also their characters develop along the way.  Also, the storyline between the main leads is huge mystery that keeps you guessing for more and contains many twists that you never expect in the second half of the drama. Not only that I'll love the chemistry between the main leads, but also the brother-sister relationship with Oh Ri Jin and Oh Ri On, Oh Ri Jin's relationship with her parents and the relationship with Cha Do Hyeon's personalities.

Acting:
Ji Sung's acting in this drama wants me to get started watching his other dramas and movies. The way he portrays the different personalities such as changing his voice and character makes all of them seem realistic and feels like their were actual people. The scenes where he portrays each of the personalities were never out of character and you feel emotional drawn to them.  Once a personality leaves, it makes you want more scenes with them and hoping their appear in another episode.  Also, his real character, Cha Do Hyeon has emotional moments  and it shows how much he suffers through his family and his disorder.

Hwang Jung Em is amazing portraying Oh Ri Jin. At the first few episodes, she can easily run you off as annoying, but once you get to learn more about her as the story develops, you realize that she is suffering the same way as Cha Do Hyeon. Her chemistry with Ji Sung was amazing since I'll saw them together in their last drama, Secret which is also a good drama and has many amazing moments between them.

Park Seo Joon, who is Oh Ri Jin's brother were also able to portray his character well and his sibling relationship with Oh Ri Jin really connects with you and hoping they have a perfect relationship toward the end. He have funny moments between his sister and Yo Na, one of the personality who has a huge crush on him.

The side characters in the drama were also amazing especially Secretary Ah and the good and bad side of each of the main lead's families really portray their characters well.

Music:
The music is this drama was amazing and it suits well in every scene especially the emotional moments in the drama.

Rewatch Value:
There were be a time in my life where I'll might rewatch this drama again once I'll get finish watching other dramas, but I'll will come back to watch my favorite scenes in the drama once in a while.

Overall:
This drama is amazing and became my favorite drama. I'll highly recommend this drama for anyone who is looking for a drama that will put you on the edge of your seat with the mystery, make you cry with the emotional moments and also make you laugh with the comedy. Honestly, this is the drama that you must put in your "plan to watch" on your watchlist.

So many people notes "Code Blue" as a must watch drama and I totally agree. It's better than Grey Anatomy. My first medical theme Japanese drama and I fell in love instantly the moment I finished the first episode. The story is amazing and realistic. It also shows some character growth, which I don't see very often in Japanese drama. I find Yamashita acted really well in this drama which surprises me. I don't find him as a great actor but he portrays Aikawa really really well.

I love mysteries or crime theme drama. I have watched a lot of Japanese or Western crime drama from MR.Brain, CSI, Bones, BOSS, Galileo, Criminal Minds you name it. I haven't watched a lot of Korean drama that mainly focuses on crime or mystery (I rule out drama like Pinocchio and I hear your voice) when I stumble on Vampire Prosecutor. With a high rating and success story on being made into 2 seasons, I have a lot of expectations. Unfortunately, this drama failed to deliver what I would like to see. I think this drama has a lot of potentials to deliver, with a dramatic plot and emotional impact. The idea of the story is great and the drama has talented actors as well but I find the pace, the script and the shot are not well implemented. For the first half of the story, the pace is really slow which make you want to skip.   What brings backs the life of the drama is the couple last episodes with a dramatic ending and better execution in the shooting.  Overall its an okay drama for me.   If you are looking for other Korean crime drama, I would recommend "The Chaser" as a perfect example of a great crime masterpiece (mixed with politic though).

I love love love this show.

I love the characters and the storyline.  I was rooting for On Dal and Song Soo Jung to be together.  I was so happy that they did.  I wish there was more because I did not understand how On Dal found his way to the present by just walking with a flashlight.

I love the chemistry.  I love the lead actress.  She was soooooo funny.  Go II Yong was hilarious as a villain.  I was sad to see him die.

Although I finished watching, I find myself going back to see some very important scenes over and over again.

Ok....
This show had me in my feelings with moments that made me wanted to throw something at the tv.

I wanted to see more depth in the characters.  I wanted to see Uehara feel challenged and worried about his ability to keep Nao.  Nao literally had tunnel vision when it came to him.  Guys were falling for her left and right but she was oblivious.  Every last one of them (even Abe) would have been better for her than Uehara.  First season I wanted Daichi or Issei because I believe they would have treated Nao so much better than Uehara.
2nd season I was cheering for Natsume all the way.  I really thought that he would have been excellent competition for Uehara.  They should have made him prove his love to Nao.  He didn't have to do much to win her heart because he had it from the beginning.  At first it seemed like the producers started to create something between Nao and Natsume but alas, it was only wishful thinking.

I watched the entire thing only because I knew that it would have a happy ending no matter how badly I wanted them to break up.  I didn't find it all that realistic.

So....I am very new to this Kdrama genre and I am quickly getting into.  Thank you Netflix.

This is obviously a teenage or young adult type drama but I am sucker for great love stories no matter what age group.  I am always the one cheering for the underdog.  The one girl or guy that is out of place and no one expects to win but does.  With that being said.. What the heck is wrong here?

I could not stand the way Ha Ni stalked this guy.  He was sooooo mean to her.  He received great pleasure and joy in making her feel bad.  He acknowledge that.  He even acknowledge that to her.  She admits that he is mean but still is madly in love with him.  I don't understand.

I watched Good Morning Call and I thought that was bad and no one could possibly be as bad as Nao but boy was I wrong.  Ha Ni has her beat hands down.  I got up to episode 10 and I honestly could not stomach it anymore.  Many times I found myself wanting to through something at the TV or just picking up the TV and smashing it because I couldn't stand it.

I want to apologize for not understanding the culture being that I am American.  I am not sure if this type of drama is a representation of how Asian women are in real life.  I cannot understand how any person man or female would allow someone to be blatantly mean and rude to them and find that they are the person that they would want to spend their life with.  It baffles me quite frankly.  The few dramas that I have seen seem to portray the lead actress as weak, dumb and clumsy.  She is has a servant attitude and is ok with made to feel beneath and should show gratitude for them even getting attention.

I am not familiar with the actors like everyone else seems to be so I really have no point of reference to their acting abilities.

The friends I found unnecessary.  They really did not add anything to this show especially when they got to college.  No one else seemed to have a life outside of Ha Ni.
I found the mother's enthusiasm for the relationship a little bizarre and a bit going overboard.
Ha Ni is very pretty.  HOWEVER, I hated the way they made her look like an idiot 11 year old even while in college.  They way she dressed and combed her hair.  I understand she was supposed to be pure and fresh and different but does that also mean she has to look like a child?  Realistically, would a normal guy really find this attractive for a long period of time?  And I don't even want to get into her stalking.  I got so annoyed when every time you turn around, she is running after him like a puppy and messes up everything.  What is worse is that he knew about everything all of this time and he showed little sign of changing.  He tortured her and she just kept coming back for more.

I have to end here.  Even just writing the review is making me upset and I do not want to break my laptop.

So , how to describe this in a few words so it won't take to much time to read or to write , predictable and rushed , I guess these are my words for it .
If this drama was stupid from the begining I would've gone with this mindset , but it started well , a doc who saves gang members for money at night and when the day stars anew he is a very good surgeon that makes other people go rainbow colors with envy , throw there some romance and intrigue and there you have it , a really nice easy going show , but no , they had to make into a stupid revenge story that really doesn't show us anything new , people die , people get hurt and that ' people die when they are killed ' ( Emiya Shiro , Fate Stay Night , great guy , but not  one with words )  or as in this ' masterpiece '  they really like to kill themselves , like that stupid ass of a brother of hers .
With this things said , we are not done with the bad parts yet , the negative side of the characters , the bad guys were such a mess , no character , no deph , no nothing , absolute zero , honestly speaking after watching Remember , War of the Son , Nam Gyu Man ( evil dude ) was the best at his role , but he was not the only one , all of them were good , it made you think that this is what they do everyday and they were getting paid for it to appear in the show , if you compare them to this side , well really , there isn't that much to compare .
Ok , the last bad part , the rushed ending , if it couldn't get any worse than this , well it did in the end . The last two eps were catastrophically  bad , all of a sudden Yeo Jin trusts everyone , including doctors , her damn snake of a secretary even her sister in law , that if you read up until now , she , Yeo Jin , killed her husband AKA ' big bro ' , really ?? From the queen of aligators ( self proclaimed ) to that embarrassing state of hers .
As an optional , that guy from the states , american version of Yong Pal , what the heck did he do ? Nothing , he ordered for some scissors and that was all , a great doc indeed , and all the drama for what ? They done the operation rather easy , pff ...
The only good part of this drama was the begining and the main lead , he kept it from going really under , even so he was a shadow of what I saw in Good Doctor .

PS : Why did I compare this to Remember ? Because it had some similar plot ideas and that it was the last one I watched .

-For the record, I watched this before knowing or becoming a fan of SF9, much less knowing the actors were even trainees and I LOVED it
-For someone who's not the biggest choose-your-own-adventure fan, it was really enjoyable and surprisingly had me gripping the edge of my seat (mainly because they waited to show ma boy's ending until the VERY END, and it stressed me out. I'm still salty. But like kinda good salty. I STILL can't believe I didn't see that coming)
-The actors were good for noobs, but super cute and kinda awkward, which I personally love seeing
-The music is a bit forgettable, I honestly can't even remember if there was any
-The fact that it's literally no time commitment makes it that much better

-This was my second ever drama, and speaking from experience, it's a perfect place to start
-The concept intrigued me (Nun crossdresses in a kpop band- I mean what's not to love?) and it turned out just as hilarious as it sounded
-It did surprise me with a lot of, well... drama. There's quite a bit of crying and "I can't be with you because of this reason" but that reason is totally stupid and also makes zero sense
-The side characters are the best part. Especially Jeremy. Lee Hong Ki will forever be my Kdrama first love.
-The awkward antics are also tied for the best part. Its 10 outta 10 worth it just for those
-The romance is just ok in my opinion, I'm not a fan of the actor for the male lead, because, yes I do believe there's such a thing as TOO broody-emo-mysterious-hot-boy, I feel like this is the part where I get disconnected with the drama. It is quite literally TOO dramatic. (+ I 100% believe she should have ended up with someone else)
-Also this is the only drama I've actually liked Park Shin Hye in
-OST is good, seems like they play the same exact parts of a couple of the songs a bit too much tho (my favorite track is Lee Hong Ki's version of "Still" - Still (lol) makes me feel the feels

I began to watch this drama yesterday, because I wanted something with action in it. It did not disappoint as I finished it today, too hooked to leave it alone.

The  story line was great and it didn't unnecessarily drag out the "not so important" scenes, which made it easy to keep watching.
It definitely kept me intrigued the whole time and I'm more than glad to come across this one.
It had good comedy, nice romance here and there  (very maturely, which was a huge plus as childish ones tend to ruin this type of genre for me)
and kept good pacing up through the whole deal.

All the characters were great, very charismatic and balanced with each other. The plot made me come here, but the actors definitely made me stay here.

Musically nothing special stuck in my head, just very appropriate and in times funnily included in the scenes.

All in all You're All Surrounded was a great cop/criminal/investigation etc.  drama, one of the best I've seen.
I definitely recommend this to anyone who's wondering about it. It's worth the watch and more!

I have to say I did not watch the Korean Version yet or any other Versions .

The story for me was quite predictable , so I did not enjoy the show that much and I skipped a lot of scenes .
I loved the family-interactions between Ritsu , Wakana and Sakana ! plus his relationship with ran although it was short but I enjoyed watching these part of the story .

About the Main Leads relationship I did not feel the love it was plain , but the final episode was on point .
The actors were good specially " Nagase Tomoya " & " Ikewaki Chizuru " they did well .

Overall the drama is not bad but I wished that the story line wasn't obvious .

From now on, I will write review from my own ratings. I set the overall ratings to 8.5, here the details:
I like the story: +3 (it's perfect score; 1 means I hate it, 2 means neither I like it, 3 I love it)
The fact that this drama will reveal its antagonist in the 1st episode did surprise me a lot. I think it's the only drama did like that. I thought the drama will be boring, since the antagonist have been revealed so early. But, the drama did well. It makes me curious about how the protagonist survive from antagonist's curse since polices and law could not catch him and his evil plan about doing revenge.
I like the cast: +1 +1 (every protagonist has max score: 2)
That "one" is for Kim So Hyun because she is my only favorite korean actress and I can only give "one" from two because she was not the main role. And "one" for Jongsuk. I don't really like him, but since I have watched so many Jongsuk drama, I did not feel strange when I watched the protagonist as the main role. So, I could enjoy the drama.
The drama has humor: +1
I laughed a lot. I love it.
The drama was touching: +1
If I were a girl, I would have cried when Do Yeon found her father was a no-guilty prisoner.
Moral/education value: +1 (If the drama did not have it, I would not give value)
This drama taught me (makes me realize) that humans always hide their lies to keep their relationship with family and friends connected. I learned something called "Law" a lot.
Plot Twist: +0.5
I thought polices would not come to save Jongsuk. But, the sniper team did well to stop the antagonist's (Min Joon Kook) evil act.
.
Total:
3+1+1+1+1+1+0.5
= 8.5
P.s. Sorry, you read my bad English.

My review as I was starting the drama:
A Gentleman's Dignity - just started this drama which I saw that is available in Netflix. So it's convenient. It's an old drama so its completed and I can binge watch anytime. Unlike with ongoing dramas. Plus it was highly recommended as a must watch by some drama fanatics like me. I started watching last night, just on Ep 1 and it was great. I mean, no Oppas (younger ones) that I have seen before but they are more mature actors on it so the acting is brilliant. It is supposed to be the South Korean answer to the American show Sex and the City (my fave by the way). But this time its about 4 males. Funny moments and musings of the characters are on point. I will definitely keep watching this one!

---------------------------------------------------------------
My review after I FINISHED the drama:

Just literally finished watching this drama. It is one of the best comedy dramas I have watched. It also has romance in it. So its a RomCom. How come it took me so long to watch this? I must not be calling myself a Kdrama fan before when I have not watched this yet. It is the best drama with all the mature actors in it that is why they delivered the acting so superbly. Story was good too. Nothing too corny or violent or no evil villains here. Just plain comedy and friendship between 4 men. It is exactly a Sex and the City but told from men's perspective and less emphasis on sex. Maybe because of the setting too, its in South Korea so people are more conservative, which is more to my liking.

The music was not that prominent, unlike in other dramas, but they seem to be on point for the scenes.

The 2nd or 3rd male leads, the bad student and the son of Dojin contributed well to the story. Nothing too drastic or overacted.

The 4 female leads, or the partners of each of the 4 guys were also awesome. They complimented the men so well and the story. They had just the right acting. And they were all beautiful as well as their partners were equally handsome and dashing.

There was never a time a wasn't laughing at a scene. This just shows I was truly entertained.

This drama is definitely one of my recommended dramas now and I will surely re-watch. This drama is brilliant.
