The friendly bantering is just as amazing as the first season. The pace of this drama, not so much. It had too many fillers and not enough focus on character development. Although I was dying to know the backstory between Lin Luo Xue and Bi Shi San, I was not prepared for the length of time the show devoted to their childhood saga. At one point, I thought I was watching the wrong drama because the childhood portion was sooooo long. I was mighty glad when they finally took their story to the present time when I can empathize with Lin Luo Xue and her conflicting feelings toward Bi Shi San. One of things I love about "Stand By Me" is how show able to tie together multiple story lines. Lin/Bi's story arc had merged seamless with Lu Qiao Chuan and Zhong Bai's story arc with the theme "The world I see is the not the same as the world you see." Which, in turn, crossed over nicely in how they moved forward Zhong Bai and Xiao Hai Yang's relationship.

Personally, I think that this is one of the best teen series that I’ve ever watched. Nanon (Oh) has always been a good actor, and I will never get bored of saying this. His acting was very natural and smooth, I recall no awkward nor cringey acting at all (this is my opinion). For me, the most fascinating characters in the series are Sun and Ainam. You will see why if you watch the series (you will be surprised with how GREAT they are). I absolutely love the opening music. I just really really love this, the storyline got me totally hooked up. The BL is very nicely developed, and even though the ending might not be enough to satisfy some of the audiences, (again, in my opinion) it’s very natural. (Again,) You will see why if you watch the series. Go watch the series if you are up for some unexpected maturity inside teenagers and finding one’s real self (Oh’s). I’d definitely re-watch this for a million times.

CONTEMPORARY, BEAUTIFUL, MEANINGFUL AND FANTASTIC DRAMA!
I just finished this drama and its officially one of my favorites! This drama has a lot to do with college life  school work, relationships, dealing with future worries and then there's abandonment, self-growth, plagiarism consequences to both sides, etc. I am in love with the quotes each episode had. This drama touches upon topics that makes you thinking deeply about your life. Its very meaningful and deep. The main story is a focused on a happy, college campus couple. We going through a period of happiness, to heartbroken and angst and back to unsure of future between the two. It also focuses on the other supporting actors/actress whcih were quite funny so they gave us the comedic relief but was being realistic as well. Main actress was a JYP trainee but I think she made a great decision to go into acting. She acted very natural, and I did not feel irritated like I do with actors/actress that exaggerate or obviously terrible at acting. I was in love with her clothing style - its something I would wear - well not the business part of it but the casual style. Her character was more mature and serious compare to the male. As for the male lead actor, he acted natural and great as well. I loved his character's personality - was very opstimistic and positive all the time. May be annoying at first but you'd get use to it and call him CUUUUUUTE! cause of his loving smile. Okay. The one thing I dislike is the second male lead being persistent with the ring and all. I mean its great he doesn't give up, but there's a fine line between not giving up and when to  give up. And he already crossed it after the third try... Anyways, all in all I recommend this drama if you want something natural and meaningful to watch. Definitely read the quotes and pay attention to t he monologues.

Honestly......based on this drama....I would actually give it a 7.5-8/10?? I think the reason why this drama was so popular and why I’m giving it a 9/10 overall is because it’s one of the first dramas to ever have this kind of story. The kind of rich boy poor girl theme. This was like the 2nd kdrama I ever watched....I think. I watched it when I was around 11 I think and to me.....it was very good.  But if I compare it to now.......it’s just a common high school romance drama. Which is why......I think it doesn’t have that good of a rating. If you ever start watching kdrama....you should definitely watch this first since it’s one of the first dramas to have this kind of theme and I’m sure you’ll like it and give it a good review. But if you started kdrama for a while THEN watch this....you’ll probably think it’s pretty average and *meh*.  Its also why I think it’s pretty sad that this drama isn’t getting a good rating......since there are so many new dramas similar to this.

I suppose the show is aptly named. The plot mainly moves along due to all the males in this show who have a white knight complex and are motivated by a girl’s distress signal.
I enjoyed the show way more than I think it’s worth.
There is nothing much to the plot but before I knew it, I was at the end. So I guess it was entertaining enough to keep me marathoning.

I really liked how the drama showed the three cousins being distant with each other but also getting more comfortable with each other. They remained prickly and antagonistic, but the way the circumstances shoved them together, you could see they were starting to feel more warmth about their dysfunctional relatives.

The step family really makes it feel like Cinderella in the way they are just hopelessly petty. I did appreciate that they really love Ha Won’s dad though.

Ha Won – female lead
Ha Won can be aggressive but she’s polite and easy going too. Her smile is so genuine and sweet. It doesn’t feel like she’s pushing the cheerful heroine, it seems so sincere. This show is so over the top. It has so much high drama. Of course she’s a hard worker like most Kdrama heroines but I liked that her mission was more relational and she had to think about how to win over the boys’ personalities.

My favourite parts were when the boys all had to react to announcement at the same time and how their personalities were so different. It was so fun how they came together for Ha Won’s sake. They all loved her so much. I liked how they were so impacted when Ha Won just casually called them chingu in conversation.

A drama always gets extra points from me where the heroine isn’t belittled for her looks or her brain.

Ji Woon – male lead
I wasn’t confident that I would like this actor because his looks just isn’t my cup of tea. But I really came to like him. This guy seems like the oldest to me because he is so serious. I like that he is distant and isolating. He doesn’t go out of his way to be mean. He just consistently tells her to get lost.

Romance
Ji Woon has a very nice way of looking at Ha Won. He isn’t the most handsome guy but he does have this aura about him that is very gentle and charismatic. I liked the orphan spin on this drama that both Ha Won and Ji Woon are both very alone in this world. The pair have a subtle way of connecting over their parents.

General Secretary

I love dramas that have that stereotypical stern guy that is uber polite and professional.

Kang Min Young – second male lead (?)

This guy starts out pretty stereotypical but he became such a funny character later on. I like the way he talks. He isn’t the best of actors with the more dramatic scenes. But he is good at skinship. He just looks good when he’s next to a girl.

Park Bo Young’s character is hilariously badass. The way she rules the neighbourhood across multiple schools.
I like the idea of the story being about the king and queen of the school that don’t really cross paths. Young Sook leads the girls and Joong Il leads the boys and there is clear segregation.

The girls have a very structured hierarchy and order to their gang. The boys are rather scared of them.

“You’re Gwang Sik’s girl.”
“Who says? We just have an alliance.”

“Luo Han is Luo Han and Yu Xi is Yu Xi.”

This is the key guys. I kind of like that the whole saga of the hero loving Luo Han gets flipped around and it becomes all about Yu Xi’s love for her sister. This drama is really different from other shows. I can't quite put my finger on it.

This is the shortest C-Drama I’ve seen. A very pleasant 20 episodes. Chinese dramas often have very painful starts. But if you can get past the first few episodes, you’re set. I like that the pair don’t feel any romance or attraction to each other at first. Zhan Cheng and Yu Xi are bottom line a mature couple. I enjoyed how they spoke into each other’s lives, and gave story examples to communicate with each other. I loved that their miscommunication lasted about five seconds. They sorted things out so quickly.

The drama’s quite good with keeping its consistency. For example, I liked that Yu Xi forgot to control her expressions around Zhan Cheng, because she was so used to him not being able to see her. Or when Zhan Cheng didn’t know who people were even though he’d met them multiple times.

I appreciate the way the characters have romantic moments at separate times from each other. For example, Yu Xi might suddenly feel caught up in the moment, but Zhan Cheng doesn’t notice anything and vice versa.

This show has a totally different boss/underling romance style. They’re very even footing on a relational level even though Yu Xi puts herself in a very supportive role. She doesn’t even consider that her boss might like her despite his tendency to spoil her. I like that she innocently wants him to find someone to love and never considers herself a candidate.

Zhan Cheng – male lead
Zhan Cheng doesn’t have any super powers, but he is talented and smart. I like how he reasoned things out in his mind. He knows how to connect the dots and he really analyses conversations so that he can figure out the meaning behind a person’s motivations or intentions.
Our hero is actually pretty darn good. He’s not unnecessarily mean or overbearing. He’s quite charismatic and he’s gentle, which is really sweet. I liked how kind he was despite Yu Xi’s terrible personality and work ethic. He has these little smiles that are so cute when Yu Xi isn’t looking. I loved his funny expressions – it was almost Kdrama worthy.
He’s very loyal to Yu Xi as well.
I like that he’s not always sure how close their faces are, so it’s a bit of a moment for Yu Xi but he’s just concentrating on whatever they’re doing.
I like how he asks her if she’s hurt all the time.
And he’s really affected by the tone of her voice.
I really loved how he came to trust her.
It was so funny how he let her lie to him and he’d tease her about it later.
He lets her get away with a lot of things, he’s rather indulgent. But still, it’s nice to see such a generous hero even when the heroine is pushing it. I mean he really just loves her flaws.

I love the way he tries to keep a straight face. It always looks like he’s trying not to laugh around Yu Xi. It was cute how Yu Xi would handle him and he began to find her touch meaningful, but she was just being practical and going about her job.

Zhan Cheng is very mature. He’s never petty, doesn’t get jealous, and he’s overall a real man.

Yu Xi – female lead

The show gives us a terrible first impression of our heroine. Honestly, I thought she was the worst heroine ever, so I was kind of shocked at how much I liked her after a few episodes. She’s actually a really good character. She starts of incredibly obnoxious and dumb. She gets upset at Zhan Cheng for being blind. WHAT EVEN. She’s loud and aggressive for no good reason. But her thick skin character is somewhat necessary to break through all of Zhan Cheng’s defenses.

Then of course, I really liked that when she persuades him to try something new and she gets beaten up trying to make sure he doesn’t get hurt, she doesn’t complain at all.
I like how many times in the show when someone asked here to do something she was like, “I’m working right now.” And she always checked in with her boss no matter what it was.

She does a lot to show her support of him. I like how she learned to help him and in ways that are practical. She knew her duties of counting steps in rooms and etc. I like that she reassures him of her presence and that she’ll be there for him. She’s concerned about him feeling safe. I liked the dynamic of it being ok that she looks after him and he readily accepts her help.

When the pair get together, she’s completely comfortable with skinship and she doesn’t act awkward at all. It’s lovely. I like she doesn’t overthink it. She just accepts they’re together.

She’s a really great romance partner in the way she affirms her darling’s feelings for her and communicates her trust in him.

Yu Xi also gets thrown into the deep end with roles that she’s never been trained in but she shows common sense and attention to detail.

Secondary Characters

Assistant William
I like that this guy got some opportunity to be more than just a comical, or stupid character.

“Do you know who you just provoked?”
“Ever since I met Zhan Cheng, I have never been afraid.”

I enjoyed William’s relationship with Yu Xi too. How they teased each other but united in their care for their friend Zhan Cheng.

Bo Yan
This guy is handsome and sometimes he is sincere, or at least thinks he is. But his best shining moment was when he wrote up those pregnancy notes. I mean, that was just so hilarious. I don’t think it was even supposed to be a funny thing, but how he so seriously prepared the information  was so great.

Fashion: I like Yu Xi’s personal assistant clothes.

So after 32 episodes this show came to a end let me first of all start with this, its one of the most boring and long dragging show i ever watched so far.  It seems like even the director and the writer lost their touch about this show. The main problem with this show is that it should have been quicker with the plot more progress should have been better. Another point i wanna mention is why they did not split the story in 2 the first 16 episodes should have been about character development. And also about discovering the enemy and the remain 16 episodes is about chasing that enemy and maybe then maybe. You would have one of the best winter drama of the year and also the main couple was weird. I never got into their so called romance cause for me it was awkward and sometimes even fake. I think perhaps it is because the age gap between those two actors but nevertheless. It was better if they found another actor which age difference would have been 2 or 3 maybe then it would worked out. And as last to mention is that i found the actress becoming more and more distracting every time she showed up. I think this show was a little much to handle. Jo Jung-suk was the only one who really carried this show another actor i don't think so.  Even tho this show as boring as hell its has one of the best Ost for the winter but nothing more the offer.  For me it gonna be a 5.5 outta 10 i am never ever gonna watch this show again.

The drama was funny and cute. I like the main actress, one of the first k-dramas I ever watched was "Bright Girl" so I have a soft spot for her. Yes, the storyline is as cliche as it gets but the characters make up for it. My biggest pet peeve with this story is the same I have with most dramas that include a love triangle, they focus so much time on the second male lead that you hardly care for the main couple. Plus, considering they're supposed to be older the male lean acts more like a child an anyone else. Honestly, they would've been better off alone, in my humble opinion.
I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a light, short drama to turn their brains off for a while and escape.
Happy watching :)

I'm incapable of giving this movie anything less than a 9, but even if I were less sentimental and nostalgic, this would still be a solid 8 for even the harsher movie critics. I myself was part of a group, or as teenagers nowadays call it, 'squad'. Hell, we even had a name that everyone recognised us by. This movie was a great reminder of the bond I had with the three other girls in our group, which prompted me to call them and simply catch up on life. I'll definitely be doing that more often from now on.

Story: To be very honest, it's nothing special. You've probably seen similar stories in many, many East Asian dramas and movies. The execution, too, was typical for your average Asian nostalgia movie. But you already knew that, and that's the beauty of these stories. They are timeless classics, and combined with the sharp writing of this one, it makes a great movie. I could make a movie 20 years from now with the same damn story, but it would still be extremely relatable.

Acting/Cast: Wonderful. All of the characters shined in their own way, bringing their characters to life. I can't find one character, even the side ones, that did a half-hearted job. I'm not a huge fan of Kang So Ra, but I think she really did her character, Ha Chun Hwa, justice here. The adult characters were an absolute delight; I LOVED the camaraderie they had even after 25 years of separation, like they had just parted ways yesterday. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

Music: The music is from the 80s, which I personally think was a great time for music everywhere in the world. The music selection of the movie was masterfully done, showcasing truly some of the best songs from the era. Song placements were incredible, too- like when the two gangs were fighting with each other in the midst of the protestors and the police, the music in the background was HILARIOUS! The titular song, Sunny, was as emotional as it was heartbreaking, elevating the emotion in the movie. I can listen to it over and over again.

Rewatch value: This was a purely personal take. Since I relate so much to the movie, it is always going to be a comfort watch for me. I WILL cry everytime something sad happens (especially during the last few scenes) and I WILL laugh everytime something funny happens (like, say, whenever the grandmother comes on screen). Hence, the high rating.

Overall: Even if you have only one friend, I would watch this movie. The takeaway is something you can always resonate with: life is too short, keep friends close and follow your dreams.

Probably the only thing I enjoed about this drama was the character changing his personality. So, I guess the performances from both male leads. That said, the female lead's performances wasn't that bad either, as some may point out. I wasn't really annoyed by her and for me, she added something interesting to the plot. Now, the plot. It was okay at first. However, the big mystery was not strong enough to hold the interest high throughout the drama. Which is unfortunate because otherwise it was okay. So, because it really got boring after episode 16, 3 out of 10.

I spent watching "The K2" after a long hiatus of not watching K-Dramas due to my studying and was able to watch it during my semester break. I think I took about 2 or 3 days like that to finish the whole 16 episodes without skipping (well except for the early minutes in each episodes since they like to re-capped the whole previous episodes before that).

I honestly watched it because of Ji Chang Wook since I am a fan of him after watching "Suspicious Partner". One of my friend actually suggested me to watch "The K2" while this drama was ongoing in 2016 but yeah, I don't like watching ongoing dramas since I love to watch dramas in one shot without stop.

What I could say about "The K2" is that it gives me this kind of feelings where it is not going to get bored. And when you feels like you're getting bored with the storyline and then suddenly out of nowhere the protagonists mostly really do play the main roles in this drama.

Choi Yoo Jin by Song Yoon-Ah ( you are going to have a love-hate relationship with her in the end ! ) and I am still amazed with her role in this drama! She just gives me so much feelings and I really do love her acting ! You are going to feel amazed with her in the end ;-)

It have been ages since I fell in love with a K-Drama that give me such an impact. The last K-Drama that gives me this kind of feelings was "Innocent Defendant" or "Defendant" (2017) acted by Park Jisung. If you love "The K2" then I am sure you'll love "Innocent Defendant" too ! I think it is because these kind of dramas are my cup of tea so yeah.

Let me start with saying that this drama had one of the best bromances ever!
In the beginning I wasn't sure if I should start watching this drama but I decided to give it shot because of the cast and because I really enjoy watching detective dramas, though this drama wasn't the best out there it definitely didn't disappoint me.

STORY: The story wasn't anything new or magnificent but the "two-souls-in-one-body" thing brought some fresh air to the story.
The thing that I disliked the most was that the story became a little draggy and boring  in the middle and I was actually thinking about dropping the drama but it got so much better towards the end.
The thing that I liked was the comedy and humor in the drama, I loved how the thungs and the cops were friends and helped each other out.

ACTING\CAST: I loved the acting in this drama, except for Hyeri but I don't think it was the acting that I didn't like it was the character that she portrayed. I loved the casting, especially the two male leads, they fit their roles perfectly. Kim Sun Ho is a newbie in the kdramaland but  his acting is really good and the same thing goes for Hoya.  Jo Jung Suk can have chemistry with a potato so that wasn't the problem here but I liked the chemistry between the second couple more.
It was the first time I ever saw Im Se Mi in a drama and I really like her now.

BROMANCE: I'm a sucker for some good BROMANCE and this drama didn't disappoint. It was that kind of "Hate-to-Love" bromance between a conman and a detective. Their interactions were super funny to watch and as partners, they were perfect for one another. Gong Soo Chang became like one of my favourite charactesr ever.

ROMANCE: There wasn't that much romance in this drama. I didn't really care about the main couple they were kinda ordinary but the second couple is what I totally loved, they were so cute together. So don't worry romance lovers!

MUSIC: The music was pretty good, I liked all of the OSTs, they  fit the drama  well. The music  wasn't annoying or distracting, I liked how this one melody\sound started playing everytime something exciting  was about to happen.

REWATCH VALUE: I would definitely rewatch this after some time, when I forget what exactly happened in the drama. One of the reasons for rewatching would have to be the bromance and the romantic relationship between the two supporting characters.

Overall, if you are looking for something with good bromance, you should definitely watch Two Cops!

I find this drama is so underrated. This drama deserves more recognition.  I love the way the story is made very realistically with the setting of the business world. The story also brings you the journey of self-discovery and development as well as roller coaster ride of emotion. Yamada Ryosuke definitely did a very amazing job. This is my first time I watch his project and he outdid my expectations. I think I would look at his projects more in the future. The chemistry between Takada Yu and Azusa was shown greatly as well as the intensifying rivalry between brothers. There is a plot twist that I did not expect at the end but overall, I enjoy the whole journey.

I apologize beforehand since this is my first time writing a review.

I originally didn't want to watch this drama, since the trailer didn't appeal to me, but since I heard so many people talk about how much they loved it, I decided to watch it.

This drama offers a more mature look at life, with three females, each facing their own issues and three potential love interests. Each character is well written, having specific personalities and different fears. The more I watched it, the more I got into it. I really did enjoy the beginning of this drama, and thought it would be unique. I also enjoyed the humor and the I absolutely adored the cat.

What my downfall became to be was that it became a typical drama, and after having watched so many, it simply lacked intrigue by the end.

Now that I look back to this drama (that I finished four hours ago), its a drama about 3 women who are picky and have a difficult situation or choice to make, and 3 perfect guys that basically fall head over heals and just adore them. Every time a girl acts out, they apologize and adore them. It's very rare where the girls actually pay attention to what their partners want, instead it's all about them and how they haven't done something. I enjoyed the struggles the women were facing, since it's very relatable. This drama was created to be mature and focus on real life issues, but what about the issues men have? It just seemed like the men were not there to build up their characters, but instead for the viewers to anticipate kiss scenes.

Looking at the main couple, Ji Ho and So He, at the end the girl took off for no reason with no explanation, which was very unfair to the male. But afterwards, he immediately forgave her and she just stayed exactly the same. Ji Ho was an interesting character, whenever faced with work or friendship, but as soon as it was about the relationship, she almost became a plain doll who didn't have any development. I liked these female characters, I simply think some of the reactions were unexplained or simply unnecessary.

I finished the last episodes loving all the men (cause they were flawless) and disliking the women for taking advantage of them. If the men had been more flawed there would be good balance, or if the women appreciated the men more, there would be more balance. Now I simply think two of the men deserve better partners. But this is just my opinion. My favorite couple was Su Ji and Mr.Ma. They were the most balanced, both pulling and pushing at times. The rest just did one or the other.
