I really like the first episode of this drama. It's fun to watch and made me want to watch the next episodes..
But I found the pace of the story was quite slow.. I like the story line, but 40 episodes are too much.
I think the plot will be more interesting if they shorten the lenght of the episodes.. I feel like some scenes were made just to prolong the story..
1. I like the story (if only it's shorten)
2. Good Acting perform by all leads involve (including the villian, he was really good)
I like mystery kind of drama, but I might not rewatch this drama again because it's too long. I fast forward some episodes while watching it.

I don't really like web dramas because they usually have no plot and they are just a fancy product placement. However, this one was interesting. The story was actually kind of good and I liked the romance too. However, the ending was horrible. I actually thought that there were more episodes like two more, because it looked more like an ending of an episode ragther than the series. Will there be a second season? Because it's a web drama with idols, I kind of don't think so, which is a shame because it had pontentials.

This is such a heartfelt, beautifully told and executed movie. I am so glad I decided to watch it despite the little reviews.

I first happened across this movie on here and saw that one review said to WATCH IT NOW. Just finished it and don't know how I have lived without seeing this movie. I absolutely love this movie, the storyline was something I didn't predict and the way it was carefully weaved together to have emotional impact on the viewer was genius. I especially loved the photography shots they were breathtaking (props to whoever took the photos. The actors/actresses were cast so nicely for each other. I can't believe this does not have more reviews because it is my favorite Japanese movie now. I will definitely rewatch this movie many times.

I love this show! I watched both seasons on netflix. At first i thought it would be another one of those cliche romantic comedies. BUT! I was wrong. It's superrr cute! The female lead Nao (Haruka F.) is too adorable in this drama! I really liked how it was a continuation of Nao's and Uehara's lives. The first season was how they fell in love and the second season was about their future. I highly recommend watching this drama because the plot is interesting and the main leads are just so fluffy and cute together!

W is one of my fav koran drama in 2016..
1. I like the chemistry between two main leads
2. The story is just so enjoyable and entertaining
3. The love scene of those two main leads was pretty intense and cute to watch
4. It's happy ending :)
There are some unfortune and sad scenes that I don't really like..
And the webtoon charactee lives in real world and vice versa seems impossible, but this is the fantasy deama after all rihpght? We shouldn't use logic watching it :)
I recommend this drama to those who like fantasy story, if fantasy is not your thing maybe you won't enjoy it as much as I do

I watch this drama aftee I show the teaser; it seems entertaining but I ended up thinking  this is OK drama not as great as advertised
What I like :
1. The Story line was enjoyable about the love between the mermaid and human
2. I love the setting, location, and the cinematography
3. Its a happy endung story.. my favorite kind of dama :)
4. Gorgeous main leads (handsome and pretty)

What I don't like :
1. I feel lack of chemistry between two main leads; it's sad becauss those pair are most anticipated pair to compete with dots
2. Dissapointed with Jun-Ji Hyun acting in here. I want to cry watching it. For one of the most high paid actrees, I just feel like her acting is so so..  I watched my love from the star and I thing her acting was so much better in those drama
Overall this is still an enjoyable drama . But I don't think it's worth to rewatch

I Love thiss Drama very much.. I'm a huge  fan actually..
1. The Chemistry between two main leads was amazing (well they ended up marry in real life though)
2. The story line is not the usual action romance like other dramas
3. The pace of the plot is very fast, keep you wondering what next? Not typical slow pace drama with the unsolved problems/missunderstanding for several episoes
4. No crazy and jealous girl/boy
5. It's funny but also heartwarming scenes and conversation along the drama
I rewatch this several times and don't get bored of two leads chemistry and interaction
At fist I was rather hesitate to watch because the story about soldier and war never been my interest.. But ended up I was falling in love with this drama.,
If you haven't watch it.. it's highly recommended

Where to begin with this movie... I felt odd after it ended to be honest. The movie itself had a beginning, middle and end and the end was actually pretty solid for an action/fantasy movie to me at least. Afterwards though it felt lackluster, perhaps more or less from my own hype train of, "It's Kris Wu!! It's a movie about enlightenment and demon hunting!! Of course it will be good!!"

I did not watch any other adaptations or the original film, but this is a pretty straight forward sequel. Tang Zeng (Kris Wu) is a buddhist monk attempting to achieve full enlightenment, including but not limited to the use of the "Buddha's hand", a move that can even stop the all powerful Monkey King (Lin Geng Zin), along with the two olther companions "Piggy" (Pig God/King) and "Sandy" (Fish God/king). They attempt to move through a fantasy landscape in order to find the sutras 'in the west' in order for them to achieve enlightement. However, there's some demons, kings, and romantic situations in between taking them off course.

I found all the character's enjoyable to watch, and not overbearing. The cast is well rounded with evil and good characters, characters with plot twists that aren't 100% readable, as well as some backstory and depth to them. The most engaging part is the emphasis between Tang Zeng and the Monkey King's relationship. The developments won't have you in tears, but you will smile when all is revealed. Lin Yun's character, while late in the story and appearance rather brief is really striking as well in more ways then one. I was pleasantly  surprised with her delivery and chemistry with the rest of the cast.  Some of the CGI effects are both good, and bad. The more subtle usage is excellent and works well. Some of the more extreme usages of it are overbearing. However, there is a healthy mix of both so it doesn't affect my overall score of the film. And there are comedy elements in the film to balance out the action and more serious scenes, a few of them even got me to chuckle.

The music to me, didn't really add or subtract to the overall story. In fact, I don't remember much of it at all. And due to my opinion of a 'lackluster' ending, my rewatch value is low. The movie isn't deep enough in plot that I feel compelled to watch again, and the action scenes while engaging in first watch are interesting, overall didn't really stun me.

An okay movie to pass the time with in my opinion. If you're a fan of any of the actors or actresses listed, this would be a solid film to watch inbetween some of their masterpieces.

I enjoyed watching Mirror of the witch or Secret Healer (as it is called on Netflix). I read the reviews so I was surprised when I was still watching at episode 14 and still enjoying it. Visually it is beautiful, the cast were pretty good and it is more of a historical fantasy than a romance. I loved the story as it was pretty dark in places had a few good twisted plots. I did find it annoying at times and I felt that they kept making the same mistakes over and over e.g the prison was pointless as with the exception of one or two times pretty much eveyone walked out or escaped within a few hours. There were questions left unanswered which left me feeling a bit frustrated but I loved the fact that they did give you the backstory on the Shamen. The age gap wasn't an issue for me but it would have been nice if they used an older actress and put more romance in but I did like Kim Sae-Ron and how she played her character  and I probably would watch this again in a few years time.

DISCLAIMER: I have never seen the other versions of You're My Destiny.
Honestly, this is one of my new favorite dramas. The acting, direcing, writing, sets, costumes-- all stunning. We finally got a few REAL kiss scenes from Bie (who's a great kisser) and Esther (who's a good kisser compared to just about every other Thai actress).
STORY: Amazing. The storytelling was consistent, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I usually find melodramas cheesy (let's face it, You're My Destiny is a melodrama), but this one was able to make me laugh and cry without overdoing anything. I especially loved the character development in the last four episodes; it's obvious that both Wanida and Pawut changed, but they were still fundamentally the same people. The family values were sweet, and Taya was totally hot (poor second lead...). And no NANG RAI!!!! Thank goodness, everyone in this drama were logical, NORMAL people and not crazy psychopaths!
The story was a little out-there, but that's the point of You're My Destiny; Pawut and Wanida were brought together by fate.
The only complaint I have was with the ending. Sure, everything was satisfactorily wrapped up, aside from the aunt and her son (I'm not really even sure why they were in the drama... even the other characters seemed to forget about them), but the way it was wrapped up felt very abrupt. They should have split some of the wrap-ups between the last two episodes instead of spending three episodes being completely unproductive story-wise.
ACTING/CAST: I mean, Bie's cute, but I honestly think Esther and Taya were the standouts in this drama. Esther often plays the innocent pushover role, but when she transformed into the later Wanida who wasn't a pushover and who was willing to fight for her man, that's when her acting really shone. Taya was adorable and hot for one, but he also did a very good job of portraying his one-sided love for Wanida. You could tell he had feelings for her just by the way he looked at Nid. And his abs...
MUSIC: Lots of variety to this soundtrack, great OST by Bie. I especially loved the "Smile" song that Bie sang in English... that one made me bawl my eyes out when they played it at the end of episode 13, which is a first for me.
REWATCH VALUE: I would definitely rewatch this one, in spite of the slightly disappointing ending. The acting, directing, and story are just too good to limit to one watch.
I HIGHLY recommend this drama for anyone who enjoys beautiful dramas that avoid the Thai drama stereotypes, and loves heartwarming stories with happy endings.

This is my favorite Chinese drama of all time, and I don't even usually like historical dramas. Political intrigue typically bores me. Dramas with 50+ episodes generally make me shudder. But I couldn't stop watching Nirvana in Fire. By the time I got to the 40th episode, I was dreading the fact that I was getting close to the end. I wanted this drama to never end.  The casting is STELLAR. Not just  Hu Ge, Wang Kai, and Liu Tao, but also Wu Lei, Chen Long,  Cheng Hao Feng, Guo Xiao Ran... There is betrayal and all kinds of plotting in this drama, but there is also humor and a hint of romance.  I've even watched this a second time.

The theme song and Liu Tao's  "Aging of a Beauty" are both spectacular songs.

This drama is cute and all but theres not much romance. Well the main characters would hug in one scene then fight in the next scene. It gets tiring to see the female lead getting mistreated in so many scenes. It's too repetitive. Although the two leads have some short cute moments, i personally did not like this drama because the plot is too predictable; too basic. Even the overall ending of season 1 and season 2 was horrible. There was no actual conclusion. But overall, this show is worth a shot since there are cute and fluffy romantic scenes.

This review may contain spoilers
This is the most emotionally-driven review I have ever written. So much that I don't know what to say.

Five years back, I switched from watching dramas that have already aired to dramas that are, as we put it, "currently-airing". We've all had that transition at some point, and to me, a good currently-airing Korea drama has two potential flaws - one,  certain scenes are too boring so you skip over or skim over them; two, when you come back a week later to watch fresh episodes, you might not find the drama as appealing as you did last week. But once in a while, you find a drama like Wise Prison Life. A drama where you can't skip a single scene and cherish each and every moment. A drama where you come back to watch new episodes, dive right in and feel like you never left.

The script is so well-written. There is no strong intensity or urgency in the drama, but only in small doses. And the feels are so sweet, heartwarming and beautiful. I don't know how to describe it, but you'll understand if you have watched the Reply series. You would end up loving the smallest details and the entire journey would make you an emotional mess (but in a good way, thankfully).

Coming to characters, the writers have always been my favorites for the characters they develop. No wonder everyone wants to work with them! And Wise Prison Life has some of my favorite characters ever. And in one single drama! I loved every single character and their personal journeys as well as their shared journey. They are all so lovable and cool. I can't even pick a favorite! They're all so amazing and their friendship and their struggles make me cry even after finishing the drama. Kim Je Hyuk is such an inspiring character, not just because of his perseverance, but also because of his non-judgmental, humble personality. Joon Ho is the best friend one could have! I am so glad Jung Kyung Ho did not skip out on this one (let's face it, his role isn't as meaty as we would have all expected). He was perfect! His brother was hilarious! And OMG LOONY!!! And OMG LIT. PAENG!!! And...okay, I shall stop. Bottom line, all of them were so awesome, and I am overwhelmed.

Not only did this drama have a great OST, I also ended up discovering Kim Kwang Seok and his beautiful songs because of it! The rap intro OST was super lit. Mino and Yoon did a song for them too. I love them, they are one of my favorite musicians (and so is WINNER). In fact, I was really surprised when I saw Yoon in this, because I have had a huuuge crush on Yoon for a long time. But yes, this is not the time to talk about KPOP crushes! LOL. And Yoon did a very decent job here. The romance was perfectly incorporated in the story. It was not overbearing and neither was it lacking. I liked Krystal here and also the romantic interest of Jun Ho (who I'll not name because I have learned to keep my reviews spoiler-free. Mostly, LOL).

Overall, this drama is for everybody! It's a rare gem. Everyone must watch this!

Story:

This is a very engaging plot.  some aspects of the film are very unclear, one character seemed to pop in out of nowhere.
I liked the plot overall, but be warned: this is a tragedy. it's very sad. if you're not in a good place emotionally, I don't suggest watching this movie.

Acting: acting was great, the cast were very handsome and talented.

Music: Music was good.

Rewatch value: I wouldn't rewatch it because it's too sad for my taste.
