I feel a bit bad for thinking it, but for this type of drama I expect death or some sort of unhappiness at the end. I don't like things tied up too nicely.
The only examples I can think of are Koishite Akuma with vampires, and Youkai Ningen Bem with monsters. In J-drama it seems the fantasy is surrounded by a sense of realism, as if the fantastical elements are made to interact with the real world. In the K-dramas I've seen the fantasy world is more fully developed and can stand on it's own.

It means they'll be one new band, but they won't be Johnny's Jr. anymore. The best way to explain the concept of Johnny's Jr. is "a very public training phase". Once they're debuted they'll promote as a group instead of part of (Kansai) Johnny's Jr. They'll release CDs and do concerts under their own group name, which will be Johnny's WEST (terrible name I know...). Basically it means they're no longer trainees and will finally release music. =)

xD I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to ask if there's anything that needs explaining.
There really is no coming back from that one. I did go to see the anime movie at an independent cinema's anime night but I fell asleep on my friend's shoulder, so it doesn't count as rewatching. xD
Ahh, I suppose it makes sense that anybody would opt out of an oral. I'll try not to feel so bad about it. =)

It's a nice way to spend time with her, and I always try to encourage drama-watching in even the unlikeliest of candidates. xD
I think BnIJ will be one of those dramas that gets dropped without gaining a place on my dropped list, so I definitely don't recommend it.
My system confuses even me though. xD

I've thought about it, and both Fukuyama and Matsuda Shota point to a playful-clever yet mature intellectual type, if that makes sense at all. (Mostly influenced by their Galileo and Liar Game roles, I guess.) xD

Yes, the children were so unforgiving of poor Tottsu, but they really liked Goseki's attempt. xD Idols plus kids always makes funny TV.
I'll reveal my magic. =) I only discovered it recently. Just right-click on the video while it's playing and choose "Copy URL at current time" then paste.

I remember a few years ago it was rare enough to find Japanese fans, but there were pretty much no Korean fans around. I mean, not like I found any drama or Johnny's fans back then, but there were always people listening to anime themes. Then SNSD's Gee happened. xD

And I didn't say Tsubusa ni Koi? That's one of my favourites as well. xD And have you heard Saito Kazuyoshi's self-cover of Puzzle? I love it maybe just a little bit more than the Eito version.

Puzzle is my favourite album because it was the first one released after I became a fan. I seriously love everything about Puzzle, even Yasu's awful blond perm on the Puzzle con DVD. xD

Desire is actually one of my mother's favourite K8 songs. Never bothered translating for her... xD

Hmm... I tend to think both Matsujun and Kamenashi fans are a bit serious, but people who like Narimiya Hiroki definitely have a wild side, whereas people who like Eita are probably gentle yet fun. You're quite a mix. xD Some of the others I've never thought about. I'm wondering what Fukuyama says now... xD

Lol, in my profile pic he's trying (and failing) to be a ventriloquist. It's from this (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1abnpf_2014-01-26-abchanzoo_shortfilms&start=757) xD. I have a thing for screencapping funny faces.

I actually liked Innocent Man up until the last 5 episodes or so, but it lost a lot of points because I couldn't relate to the main characters at all. They kept taking actions I couldn't understand the reasoning behind. And I also like melo dramas to have melo endings. I really expected him to die. xD
I'm liking Arang and the Magistrate. I loved Shin Min Ah in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, but it wasn't until I started Arang that I realised how much I enjoyed the fantasy aspect of the drama. It's a feeling I haven't found in Japanese dramas.

About the article, at the beginning of the year Johnny's announced they'd be debuting a Kansai Jr. group (basically Kanjani8's juniors), and that it would consist of four members. I was happy enough about this, but it meant half of a popular unit would be left behind. That article is the announcement that the rest of the unit plus another Kansai Jr. will be joining, making a group of 7, so now I'm very happy about it. =D

No worries. =)

I'll have a look. =)
Same here! xD I can't ever rewatch or reread Death Note for that reason. Too much heartbreak.
I sort of cheated out of my presentation... I got nervous and ended up making a written copy to submit instead. Hopefully it'll do, but I feel guilty for not even trying to get up and speak. :(

My mum is a fan of both medical dramas and Ohkura (by transmission probably xD), so I explain what's going on in Dr.DMAT. It's not a bad drama, but I'm not good with blood and medical stuff.
I started BnIJ because I do like a good terminal illness drama, but I wasn't too impressed with the first episode and a half. Tabe Mikako's character is the kind of female lead I'm bored with, and the pressurising parents/job-seeking setting isn't that original either.
And in truth I completely forgot about the ninja-lady drama! I keep my to-watch-but-not-airing-yet dramas in my dropped list. I'll have to start it soon. xD

I started with Arang and the Magistrate first because I loved the female lead in Gumiho, and it's exactly the kind of drama I was looking for. Thank you! I'll keep your other recommendations in mind too.

Yoko is my favourite but Subaru is close second. And Subaru generally goes in avatars and stuff because he pulls good faces.
Did you watch him on The Covers? Love is Over is one of my favourite songs and he sang it beautifully.
Arashi fans, KAT-TUN fans... Kis-My-Ft2 fans seem to be getting pretty numerous here. I actually met a NEWS fan in real life recently. I was amazed. xD
Ehh, I can't choose one... Anything from the first half of 8UPPERS, Misetekure live, Wahaha, and my most played song ever is Kicyu. xD How about you?

Hmm... If I said a not too over the top romantic comedy, with a cute female lead, what would you recommend me?

J-dramas are easier to recommend, since I've only finished one K-drama ever. (Okay, I'm close to two now...)

He's called Arthur and he has a beautiful personality. Placid as anything until he hears "walk" or "toys out". Very stubborn though.
It's good to remember. Or rather, it's impossible to forget.

I should start doing that. I forget as soon as I finish...

Ichihara Hayato is one of my favourite actors too. One of the first actors I noticed, and still a favourite, which is quite something.

Yamapi is fine doing idol roles, but he has no soul so he can't do emotion.

I've no idea how you remember that many. I'm still on reading it. xD You have the same taste in Johnny's as me minus Yamapi.

Ahh, she's adorable. I'm sorry for your loss. My Wire Fox Terrier passed away in 2011 and we still feel it, though last year we got a Lakeland puppy. I asked because I love terriers. xD It's all in the ears.
