And maybe I'll pretend I never saw the end(last 2 eps) !

A note to myself - enjoy while it lasts ...not everything has to have a perfect ending !

So the much awaited journey comes to an end and it was pretty much a train wreck but as much as I loved this show, that deeply it has inflicted upon me that endings are often not that beautiful as the journey ! This review is for those who appreciate a critical examination of art, even if it means challenging their favorites. For those who might struggle with differing viewpoints, perhaps a lighter genre would be more enjoyable right now.

So the show is about the most illogical things of all time - someone pretending to be someone else for revenge and that too in front of a whole fucking town and they buy it ! and so will you ! I promise you will !
As nonsensical as it sounds that's what it is -- but let me sing to the glory of this show -

Top notch Aesthetics that scream oh you need to stare at it again ! - How they use clothes - they have given a new meaning to it and it's no more just props it's got life !
The amazing portrayal of women -- oh man the cameraman gave them wings !!
Chemistry that gives you butterflies ! -they stare at each other and you go crazy toppling and turning on your bed !
Villains that make you loathe them - curse them you'll wany to kill them without a thought -- but they have great backstories and motivations for the things they did - disgustingly good as can be said.
The characters the props - you'll love everything about it down to the details - as we take up on each and everything one by one you'll love it more with each ep until you won't be able to forgive the makers for what they do to you --

Let's talk about our very hot "ALL TALK NO SHOW" most charming gege who loves "side eyes" and "taking a seat" every time we fucking hope for him to flip a fan at the very least but i think fan was just the most charming prop who's master never got around delivering to his potential !
Look first thing he waited till the water went above the head and when my patience was taking last breaths -- our poison princess fought better than Duke Su! (yes I said it ) !
I mean what was that fight even (with king's brother)- like for a min atleast I wanted to see that strong man I had been dreaming of - ERROR 404 - NOT FOUND !

My dearest assistants of duke su I am sorry the writers and makers did that to you ! you two deserve all my love for never disappointing me... man I am so mad to even feel bad -- they were too good to just die of random arrows ! Imma pretend they still alive and they be asking - my lord are you going to or should i do it !

i mean to think about it SYR and XFF spend more time together than Duke Su and Li or should say XFF spends more time in SYR's arms in the last eps than duke su in all the eps combined ! SFUODSBLBVJNDFLXN!
and that candle light kiss -- oh my out of the world cinematography I love how you make me hate a candle!

And don't remind me of that king pls - what in the tomfoolery was that person - to protect him who does nothing exactly in the show we have so many people sacrificing ! I mean that consort li has a better role than him and for fucks sake she did die amazingly oh brave women !
and not to mention even the maids and gardener's have more role than him - i wanted to say curtains too but then you'd just say I was being mean and wouldn't believe me !

Lets talk about the best of the lot -- Wanning there you girl - you shattered my heart into pieces you deserved every bit of torture but it was not for you to die like this and make me love you ! - the best end served !

Now my girl A Li - my double edged sword my heart breaks for everything you have suffered and I am so proud of everything you have done -- tho your humor was not my taste but your strategy was until you began your patriotic speech in the middle of a war ! making the show all more miserable ! - I love how you think of JL and the dead girl pops up from her grave I believe you even then but you tell me how am I to buy it that you shoot SYR twice in front of a whole army that is under SYR's command who's job is to protect him -? i mean that's what I think the seal means - or was i just delusional ?

Let me not go around rubbing salt on your wounds with poor Tong Er dying to serve no purpose and that absolute insane of dance , what was that even... not to mention they don't even look at the direction of voice coming from - let alone how they mimic a kid and the way to find if a person is possessed or not is a debate between that person and that monk !

ps . If I have to go on nitpicking on everything in the name of logic I should stfu and not watch dramas - there, said it for you. !

but again as much as I love how wanning's arc ended ..I hate how other characters were treated -And the thing is that the deeds of the dead are not going to speak from the grave ...why was anything not handled officially but then again the king was for tomfoolery !

and tho I hate to admit I must say ---
I LOVED IT TO EVERY BIT DOWN !

AND I HOPE A LOT MORE DRAMAS LIKE THIS ARE MADE !!!

100% Worth Watching, Truly Recommended

My review is gonna be so long.

Don't get me wrong, I rate the story for you who don't believe in a 10 rate. It's good to start the series without expectation and it's up to you if this show deserves a higher rating :3

If you expect this as much of action-thriller scenes and intriguing cases drama, it's not, BUT it's more than that.

(Honestly, I would rate this drama as a perfect 10/10, but sadly I have to be realistic though)

This is mindblowing, for real. Every aspect of this drama is well made!

- {1. The Story} -
First, the drama feels like a super well-executed big movie because the storytelling is magnificent. Every dialogue has its purpose, comically or theoretically. The story is getting better. Each episode's ending always has a great cliffhanger, so it will make us want to watch it more and more. (I feel envy for those who can binge-watch this after the drama ends. Because the end is satisfying!)

Second, every character is necessary. It's not just like a random person passed by as a killer, get caught, and one case is done (so we won't see the character often). But not here. Every character has its nature, and we empathize with most of them, especially the main leads. The support characters appearance has meaning too to the story.

Third, it is unpredictable! Everyone can be a suspect of the crime. When you suspect someone, your reaction will be: "It's him. Eh, actually not. No, it's him definitely. Or is he?" It really plays with your mind!
And when the drama reveals some of the truths, you will be shouting out loud, "OMG! IT'S HIM ALL THE TIME!" or "YES! I KNEW IT!"

It's well-paced and so fun to watch :D

Last, it's fun but also VERY DARK. Some of the episodes are rated as 19. As we know, the story is about serial killing, but not a brutal random slaughter. A dead person is a crucial issue because the victims have their own roles. And the killing method in this drama always makes me shivers. It's beyond creepy, and dark means no one's innocent. Even I feel irritated about the main leads! So much dirt but so cool.

THE MINUS:
Like I said earlier, the story is not about action scenes. It's more about manipulating emotionally and psychologically with dialogues and expression. So if you want to watch this, you can feel bored with the lack of action (but you should give it a try, please)

I think there's a difference between watching it when ongoing and binge-watch. The mystery is a slow-burn, so it is pretty slow. One of the reason is to build up some trusts and tensions. And sometimes I skip some scenes in the drama (especially when the higher-ups, people with power and money, speaks)

There's a tiny bit about political talks in the middle of the series. It's understandable because it's for the sake of the story. Though, it still bore me :'D

- {2. The Acting} -
It should've been Unlimited/10.

More than perfect. Even I didn't know that Choi Seung Eun as Yoo Jae Yi is a rookie actress! This is her first drama, yet she's so good!

Yeo Jin Goo is one of the greatest young actors. I really appreciate him. His way of conveying his character is very fluid. When he looks angry and desperate, we empathize with him as if we all feel the despair he feels.

And for more, he can tell us what he thinks without a word. The character cannot be matched with other actors but him. And honestly, at first, I originally watched this drama because of him. Thank you, Yeo Jin Goo, for introducing me to this spectacular drama!

Then there's Shin Ha Kyun. If he doesn't get any reward from Baeksang or Daesang in acting, I will be really devastated. The delivery of his emotions is very extreme, and every inch of his body speaks. I instantly felt scared when I saw him. And annoying too when the character is irritating at that time.

His intonation is unique, and even his sweet smile and laugh can look absolutely terrifying. But his sadness is his ace card for me. I suddenly felt concerned when I saw him crying. As it's so miserable that I want to embrace his character who has been soaked by suffering. I fell in love with Shin Ha Kyun's acting now.

Last but not least, the other support characters are so terrific (Choi Dae Hoon omg u have all my respects!). Even the cameo that only shows up in one scene can make me angry. Thus, the conclusion is, don't underestimate the supporting actors too! They deserve to be the main leads as time goes.

- {3. Music} -
Very beautiful, incredible, and spectacular. The Night is my favourite song in this series. A mixture of blues, jazz, and noir kind of music? Why not! It fits perfectly with the drama.

And the background music, *chef kiss* It's delicious and so unique!

In every scene in the drama, I feel goosebumps. The BGM emphasizes the intense atmosphere. Like, when something big will happen, it's so thrilling! It makes me want to rewatch the scene all over again.

I also believe one thing. Maybe if you heard the BGM after finished the drama, you would automatically reminisce saying, "Ah, The Manyang Town." like an old man.

So great, even one of the BGM song (10 Fingers Memory) has been my alarm sound to start the day.

- {4. Is it rewatchable?} -
Obviously! I'm sure most of us will rewatch it even though it's just for the scenes they like.

Not only from some impressive scenes with good acting and cinematography, but I might also even rewatch it from the beginning without skipping. (because at first I usually pass the boring part, but now I regretted it).

I wish I could watch it again with zero memories.

LAST WORDS
Again, this story is not for everyone.

Maybe some people prefer the drama to be a lot of action-thrillers between life and death. Or maybe not watching this drama because of the lack of romance (though there's bromance with such intimate interactions).

10/10 I recommend this to people who like dramas with heavy stories, lots of thoughts, and focus more on how good the actors' acting is than watching it because of how good-looking the actors are.

But for those of you who want to try it, I'm sure it's worth it as long as you don't watch it patchy!

Thank you for joining my TEDtalk :D

Well...

I rated season 1 a 10 and this would be 9.

So here, while Sweet Home Season 2 maintains the intense horror and suspense elements that made Season 1 a hit, some viewers including me might find that the sequel falls slightly short of the original. Season 1 introduced us to the terrifying world inside Green Home Apartments, creating a unique atmosphere and establishing a strong connection with the characters. In Season 2, the shift to the outside world and the introduction of new characters may be seen by some as a departure from what made the first season so captivating. While Season 2 has its own merits, including increased action and deeper character exploration, those who were enamored with the claustrophobic and intense setting of Season 1 might find themselves longing for the initial thrill that hooked them into the series. Actually, it ultimately comes down to personal preferences, and while Season 2 is undeniably gripping, some may argue that Season 1 holds a special place in their hearts.

Still recommendable and I'll rewatch the two seasons until s3 comes out and it should better be as great as the first season.

Slice of Life/Romance/Business. Best 2024 modern cdrama so far.

The best 2024 modern drama so far!!! To be honest, I initially felt apprehensive about starting this drama, seeing that it’s 40 episodes and usually those feel very draggy. But this one is truly an exception as almost every episode felt like 5 minutes long. The chemistry between the leads is definitely the highlight of the drama and the well written script and great cinematography make it a worthy watch.

The drama is about the female lead who quits her job to start a business and the male lead becomes her investor. We also follow the side stories of the two female lead’s friends whose main focus is on their romantic relationships. The tone is a mix of slice of life, rom-com and some business.

POSITIVE:
- Slice of life with focus on romance and a bit of business.
- Great chemistry between the leads (I was worried about this pairing but I instantly felt their chemistry from their very first meeting).
- Great kiss scenes and skinship between the leads.
- Awesome dating era (main couple).
- Eye candy (Xu Kai, the male lead, looks great in suits. His shirtless scenes broke the sexy scale).
- Great friendship portrayal (well aside from that one friend. So it is indeed realistic as not all friends are good friends).
- Platonic relationship between men and women (a rare sight in cdramas).
- Many cute rom-com moments.
- Support cast has their own stories but don’t take away from the main lead’s screen time.
- No stupid plot scenarios and cringe scenes.
- No fillers. None of the story or characters felt pointless at any point in time.
- Meaningful script.
- Great character development.
- Good pacing.
- Two side couples that enhance the plot without taking too much screen time.
- Secret crush trope (subtle).
- Cute university flashbacks (not a lot).
- Heartwarming, a tad realistic, life lessons, cuteness and hopeless romantic vibes.
- Realistic topics like sexual harassment, misogyny, corporate hell (at the start of the drama).
- Lovely OST (the english song is a nice touch and one of the songs is sung by the female lead).
- Great acting, especially from the main leads.
- Ao Rui Peng (guest role) stole my heart.
- Brilliant special episode. Truly one of the best I’ve ever seen.

NEGATIVE:
The last 8 episodes slow down the plot and there are two episodes that are a bit too melodramatic and cliche for my taste. But having said that, this did not take away from my enjoyment of this drama. During the last 8 episodes, the main leads continued to have awesome cute scenes together.

COUPLES (MINOR SPOILERS):
- Main couple: Girl boss and her CEO investor. Hot chemistry, great character and relationship development. Definitely a slow burn that I love. This romance and couple had everything you want: sexy, cute, angst, love.
(The two side couples I felt shared equal screen time between each other. But didn’t overtake the screen time of the main leads).
- Side couple: Posh girl and her love struggles. This love story felt realistic, relatable, not always happy and had a very important lesson of self-worth. One of the rare cases where a love triangle was done right.
- Side couple: Sweet livestream girl and her rich lover. The cutest couple in the drama. Bickering to friends to lovers. A sweet slow burn that will definitely make you smile.
- Bonus side couple: Female lead’s friend and ex-boyfriend. Yep, this is a pairing that not everyone would like. Girl code definitely didn’t exist for this girl who went after her friend’s ex. But still, I did find their scene wholesome and realistic. They had little screen time.

OVERALL:
There is something about this script, the romance, the story, the way the male lead is gazing at the female lead, that gave me the warmest feelings ever. Even when bad things happened, it was meaningful and well-portrayed. All the characters felt real and multi-layered. The story felt wholesome, somewhat realistic with hopeless romantic vibes which I absolutely loved. I’ve never seen a cdrama quite like this, a truly wonderful watching experience, this is hands down my best 2024 modern cdrama so far.

I watched this drama because of Lee Min Ho who's my favourite actor. And he's the best advantage of this drama. I wouldn't have finished to watch this drama if not for his acting. The story is not really good but the worst thing in that drama was Geum Jan Di who was annoying as nobody else and it's rather difficult not to look at her since she's the main character. She was very exaggerate and unnatural. Sometimes I was thinking I just stop watching the drama because of her. The rest of the cast wasn't so bad but wasn't outstanding as well. I remember only two songs from this drama- Because I'm stupid (I like it) and the second one-'almost paradise' (I even don't know the name lol) which was really horrible. I'm not a type who re-watches dramas or films but I'm sure I won't watch this drama any more. Overall-4. Just because I think it could be worse.

The remake started out good but eventually it just felt like a cheaper version of GTO. The original was a masterpiece and this one was just average. The new Onizuka was just not even comparable to the original. The side cast is what made this interesting at first, but eventually even they couldn't pull off the show for me. I wouldn't say that it was bad, but it just wasn't that great IMO. I'd say that if you've already seen the old one then don't bother watching this one unless you really really want to. And if you have not seen the old one then watch the old one instead of this one.

Written by Witcher staff?

I finally marathoned the first season after seeing a 2nd season was out. Was good at best, with some plot holes but some great moments.

Enter season 2, plot hole city. By far one of the worst K Dramas, resembling the main stream American TV garbage I long to avoid.

Seriously felt like Forcing a watch of Witcher season 3. Show is without redemption by episode 3.

The show starts by throwing all the fantasy rules set in first season aside, and setting them ablaze. Then it adds useless characters in poor attempts at humor; turning the show into a badly written comedy action, instead of a dark action the first season was pretty good at.

Waste of time to watch, and almost as much of a cash grab as anything recently from Disney

Firstly, I will not compare the two seasons in this review. And in case you are wondering - there's no need to watch the first season and then start the second, they are not connected. Of course both seasons are good so you can watch both, why not.

I am a person who doesn't laugh easily at dramas. It's very hard for a drama to make me cry from laughter, but Eulachacha Waikiki 2 somehow managed to do it. The comedy element in this is perfect, the screenwriter has a sense of humour, he did a brilliat job with the script.

Of course what makes Eulachacha Waikiki 2 so special are all the characters. Each of them has it's own charm and you can comfortaby connect with their personalities. I could easily relate to their life struggles-- actually, everyone can relate to them, because the problems they all went through are so familiar to every one of us - giving up on your dreams, not being able to do what you love the most, money, friendship, dating etc etc. Seeing them suffereing makes you feel sad and you can can't help but love them even more. Despite being a sitcom, Waikiki 2 adds some depth to the plotline which makes it meaningful. It's not just focusing on comedy and I loved that the most. It's not there just to make you laugh, but also think and feel.

We have three couples here and my favourite is Ki Bong and Yoo Ri. At first I didn't like Yoo Ri at all, she seemed too selfish and impudent, but as the story progressed, I fell in love with her and she became my favourite character. I believe they are the perfect match with Ki Bong and their interractions always made me so happy. I didn't care that much about the other two couples, I don't really know why. I liked Jun Ki and Jung Eun as friends, but nothing more. Jun Ki was legendary here (as always) and I didn't want to see him in a romantic relationship, I wanted the story to focus only on his character and his struggles because he has the funniest personallity. I think I liked Woo Shik and So Yeon the least - their story is the reason why I'm not giving the highest possible rating. I feel like they dragged the plot too much and it became a little boring. But at least we have the friendship between Woo Shik, Jun Ki and Ki Bong.

All the actors/actresses did a great job. But, of course, kudos to Lee Yi Kyung - this man is born to play in comedy dramas. His expressions were the funniest! It was also nice seeing Kim Ye Won playing different kind of role.

Overall, Waikiki 2 is a good watch. I hope you give it a try because it will make you happy for sure.

Feels very realistic and like a movie

Everything was done at a very high professional level and it felt like a movie I just hate how they didn't end up together. As soon as Doona's manager kept coming back after abandoning Doona I just knew her relationship was over and it was gonna be a bad ending. I mean she was able to become a popular singer again but her romantic relationship was over they also gave you an opening ending as well which I hate. I really wanted Won Jun and Doona to have a happy ending but they don't.... you would think after a while of being apart when Doona and Won Jun meet up again they would get back together but they leave you on a cliffhanger after they reconnect so you don't know if they are friends, get back together or their meetup was just a once off after they said they missed one another. Which is a shame cuz the whole series is good but the ending makes me hate the drama entirely and don't recommend it if you are like me and want to see them be together.

Unexpectedly Refreshing -- Enjoyable Ride

Vincenzo is not what I expected it to be; I'm not even sure what I expected, but when one hears Italy and the mafia, one immediately sets an expectation of mayhem, drugs, and murder. Vincenzo is nothing of the sort, well, at least not yet. It's crazily witty, entertaining, and thrilling all at the same time. I am refreshingly pleased by the writing style, the acting, and the directing. Vincenzo is everything it was hyped up to be and more.

I thought Vincenzo in Italy was brilliant; everything about it was sexy and beautiful, from the people to the buildings but most of all, Song Joong Ki speaking Italian. His subtle yet cutthroat demeanor is enjoyable to watch. But Vincenzo in Korea is where I fell in love with the drama, and the man, especially G Plaza. I can tell the plaza and its quirkily insane tenants (I love them all, even the annoying daughter) will be my favorite place/scenes of this drama. There is a lot of story behind Vincenzo, be it his childhood to what drives him at present, it will all be worth exploring.

Song Joong Ki is fantastic in his role; the last drama I saw him in was in 2016, Descendants of the Sun. It sure is good to have him back. It's also good to see the fine Ok Taec Yeon, the enormously talented Yoo Jae Myung. Despite not being too familiar with Jun Yeo Bin and slightly turned off by her unscrupulousness, I can tell I'm going to like her. I enjoyed her affectionate banter with her father, played by Yoo Jae Young.

This is one of the hardest reviews I've ever written. I was obsessed with this series for so long and seeing it coming to an end is very sad. I watched the trailer by chance and since then I knew I would have to watch this show. When it came out, I kept thinking about it throughout the week, wishing Friday would come faster. The first 7/8 episodes were god tier for me! Everything was going smoothly, the relationship wasn't rushed, the acting was great and I was so interested in the story that I couldn't look away from the screen for one second! I honestly thought this would be my first 10-star BL.
Unfortunately, the last few episodes weren't all that great and I saw the amazing potential of this drama being wasted in clichés (so many trust issues...), weird editing (I can't deal with all those saliva-cough-swalling-breathing sounds, I'm sorry) and simply... uninteresting.
The plot in the last 4 episodes was a bit pathetic, if I'm being honest. I don't want to spoil anyone but it was SO repetitive and predictable. The couple felt more like a couple before they became a couple (see what I did there? ;)), which made me really sad. I wasn't expecting any explicit scenes (that's not even why I watch BL shows) but I was expecting a little more intimacy.
The acting was good for the most part. Win surprised me with his crying scenes and Bright is just a pleasure to look at (although his angsty expression could make less appearances).
I was interested in the side couples but, just like the main couple, their stories seemed to have ended up no where. Drake... your eyebrows distracted me big time (I love you, I'm sorry).
The friendship in this drama didn't satisfy me one bit. The friends seemed to have disappeared after a few episodes, similar to other characters such as Green. Some of my favorite dialogues included Tine's friends so I was a bit disappointed.
Honestly, if I could describe this show in a word it would be Potentially-Amazing-But-Ultimately-Disappointing (is that more than one word...?). But I couldn't give it less than 8.5stars because of the thrilling first few episodes.
It's still a quick and light drama to watch for those who have some free time. But I was truly wishing this was more than that... oh well, maybe if we get a second season!

Innovation and uniqueness strike again in Kdramaland and the results are as invigorating as ever. 'W' might not be the absolute masterpiece we expected it to be, but despite its few minor -or major- flaws, it was a blast to watch, fun, completely unpredictable and it promises 16 well-spent hours of exhilarating suspense, stimulating romance, intelligent comedy and eventful drama.

Let's start with the plot. The drama is quite ingenious. The story centers the crazy life of a webtoon character, and how, in order to complete his story, he needs the help of real life people. You can guess what is happening between real life and webtoon characters... Crazy right? The show is a fantasy romance drama so get ready for a high ride cause the plot is so unpredictable that it touches the side of nonsensical many times. The CGI was beautifully made and it made my jaw drop many times.

Best thing about this: unpredictability and singularity.

The drama fluctuates in a constant climax, the suspense is kept at high rates throughout the show, it never stops being funny, it never stops being interesting, it is always fulfilling and the most important, not a tedious moment. The romance has a very relevant role (while it didn't have to), and you won't miss your fluffy rom-com scenes in midst of all the craziness of the main plot.

However, even if, i thoroughly enjoyed W and its wonderful idea and writing, there were 2 things that kept me from giving it a 10, and the more i watched, sadly, the more discontented i felt.

1. The failed and forced romance. Not that the main leads shared no chemistry, on the contrary, i enjoyed their moments quite a lot; it's just the romance, in such an erratic script felt like it didn't belong. It felt utterly forced to the point that i started asking myself, 'do they really need to be together?', 'Just move on with the plot.', 'They aren't working together, it's all in vain.' W proved that while a good romance and chemistry is essential for a drama to work, it definitelly isn't necessary if the plot is strong enough.

2. The convenient writing to the point or ridiculousness and irrationality. First half, everything's makes sense, there is a continuation, a reason, an end-game. I won't stay at how the plot had some convenient back and forth, at least every time it went back it tried to stay original and not repeat same patterns. The main problem came in the 2nd half. In order to close potential plot-holes, and to make everything work out in such a messy and abnormal plot, the writing started being incosistent and making no sense. Conducive situations, newly introduced plot twists that were totally illogical just to make the script work. Were they bad? No, not at all, they were all surprising and thrilling. Did they bug me? Yes, and that is why the overall rating goes down to 8.5. This is apparently a drama that you need to switch your logic off, sit back and get ready for the wonderful ride without asking too many questions. If i could sum the writing up in a phrase i would say 'Too ambitious for its own good'.

Moving on to the acting, the outcome was overall satisfying but not perfect.

I'm no fan of Lee Jong Suk, but he was pretty charming here, his acting was almost excellent, even if he overplayed his 'look at my cute smile' card a lot.

Han Hyo Joo gave a wonderful performance, she was in charge of comedy and drama, and her character was very essential to the plot. I can't deny that she overacted a little during her comedy scenes, not that it was cringy but it was obvious. Stiil, she aced all her dramatic scenes, which makes me want to see her in a melodrama soon.

However, the performance that was the most memorable and i would like to call impeccable is Kim Eui Seong's. His character was completely indispensable to the plot and his performance was spectacular.

My personal favourite was Lee Shi Eon, who was absolutely adorable and funny in every scene he appeared.

Even if this wasn't the perfect gem that i expected, i would really recommend this to every drama fan. It is innovative and unpredictable. Such combinations are rare in kdramaland, so do not turn a blind eye on this one, it's definitely not brilliant but it came really close, certainly worth a watch.

*DISCLAIMER: I do not fangirl over pretty protagonists.

I'm pretty sure the Korean pronunciation would perfectly illustrate how I feel about this drama.

To start! The story:
It's a pretty basic story of revenge,"romance" and a game of cat and mouse that... really ends all unsatisfying like - seriously, it hardly felt like anyone was chasing anyone.

The pacing is pretty poor, and most episodes are heavily padded. Your general episode would go like this:
10% plot
10% glaring
80% needless drama between the two leads.
Really, they went hot and cold so often that it gave me the chills. The needlessly forced drama between them (as well as the forced relationship) was kind of bearable to start, but the writers decided to repeat it over and over.

Actors!
To be fair, I enjoyed the performance of a few characters, but people like Nana's agent pal were so. very. wooden.
The way it was directed was all too saddening, as well. The characters were blatantly out in the open, as inconspicuous as a white van outside a villain's house and had the disguising skills of a pigeon.
Why bring up disguises, do you ask? Lee Yoon Sung's go to disguise was either a pair of glasses, a hat, or even a pair of glasses and his hair paired to a different side!

I personally thought LYS was utterly unlikeable. He had very few decent qualities, and was rather an unpleasant person to many. I guess his most appealing quality was his looks, right?
A lovely guy that doesn't want to kill but will take every opportunity to mess with Nana.
"Don't come near me!"
"But... you keep coming to me... like all the time..."
"I TOLD YOU, DON'T COME NEAR ME!"
"O...kay?"
"MAKE ME COFFEE! :@"

Another point that I disliked was the thorough destruction of Nana's character. To start she was feisty, independent and quite a nice opposite to LYS's typical bad-boy-that-treats-women-like-trash-until-they-like-them-a-whole-lot attitude. Then... then she just became a puppy eye'd female that never seems to back up what she says when she threatens LYS with leaving. I guess we needed that for the forced romance, right?

Music!
It was catchy, fitted the mood more often than not. It was the highest rated aspect, for me.

Overall:
A poor man's cat and mouse game with needless drama, poor pacing and a glaring dad that appears every time someone is going to say something that would put him at a disadvantage.
I take it back - the glare was the highest rated thing for me.

I'm unsatisfied with the ending

Too many loopholes. Too many fillers. Although I was entertained, I won't recommend this series to anyone as this will annoy them because of the plot twist - typical Hong sisters.

The only thing that I do appreciate a lot in this series is Jung So Min. She nailed her roles 20/10. I will be watching her other shows as I am intrigued by her acting.

As for season 2, Nah. I don't want to get annoyed again. There are too many other great dramas to watch.

The male lead, sorry to say this, has a lot to learn when it comes to acting. He's still young, though, and can still polish his craft.
