Hackers brought down ALL of the world's GPS?

Koizora was the first book I read in Japanese. I hated the movie but I thought it would be an easy read... My copies still have messy furigana annotations that I gave up on after a few chapters. I've also read a couple of Minato Kanae's novels after I watched the drama versions. I prefer Yakou Kanransha as a drama, entirely because of the beautiful OST.

I wrote the original comment after reading the last line of the synopsis on this page. "That night, Akari suddenly disappeared". It was the first thing that popped into my head, so I typed it. Didn't mean anything particularly serious by it.

??? I follow actors who get roles in stuff I want to watch, whether I like them or not.

Of all the current young actors... I didn't like Fujiwara as Light in the movies, and now I don't like Yamazaki as L in the drama. I wonder if the musical would complete my dissatisfaction?
Algernon was a strange role for Yamapi. His acting in the first few episodes was bordering on bad taste caricature. I think my interest in him as an actor withered away after Buzzer Beat.
I hope it turns out good. At least there are plenty of opportunities to improve, with all the work Fukushi is getting.

I was waiting for an announcement that Fukushi had been cast as L in Death Note, so this was actually quite a relief when I thought about it. I'll still watch this drama, but probably not while it's airing. I had to dread weekly doses of Yamapi and Ohkura last season. I don't think I could cope with another few months like that. xD

Good luck to him. I think I've said it before, I like him as a model and I'm happy enough to look at him, but when he's moving about on my screen something just starts to annoy me. My heart sinks whenever I read that he's been cast in something I'd otherwise want to watch. I get the same feeling with Yamapi.

Edit: But, I also once felt the same way about Miura Haruma, who has since become quite a fine actor. I might eat my words yet.

I've decided I don't like his face either. He can't win with me!

I think Yamapi can act out states of confusion reasonably well. He can be cute, and he can be confused. That's about it.

Higashi played it too camp for my taste. I just couldn't believe he was all that inspiring or special as a newscaster.

The only time I've felt something similar to this is when Gordon Brown lost the 2010 General Election. If finishing a drama gave me such feelings I'd just rewatch the drama.
